There is no good hospital food,get over it the main thing I look for in a hospital is the people.
The people involved with the care of my father were amazing and in every way they were very happy in keeping him happy he is almost 90 and everyone was involved in making his stay there a great one.

Worst hospital in south florida stay away.if i could give them 0 stars i would. They didnt do anything to help me with my pain i complained for hours to only receive attitude from my nurse (kelly) I ended up checking myself because not only was i in pain but they kept giving me pills (tylenol) knowing i couldnt keep them inside. I cant even tell you the dr name since he only came in once. I left went and went straight to baptist.
Stay away from kendall regional the rumors of the hospital are all true. Mean nurses

Recieved bad service in the emergency room by ur RN they think they better then ur patients because their RN they should be I nvestistigated because of giving bad service it is a hospital not a prison not everyone was like that my night nurse. Was the best only won that was rude was day nurse

Mi experience in relation to the medical staff is excellent, I've no complaints, but the attention of the manager of the valet parking is horrible, this man is rude, vulgar, has no education for this position, the qualification of the hospital by this man( personally) is low, it's a shame that he works for a place where the attention should be THE BEST, I hope that the next time not having this setback

If you are satisfied with the time you have had on the Earth, and you are ready to move on to bigger and better things in the afterlife, then go here when you have a serious health issue. You just may get your wish to leave this world for good. But if you value your health and still have things to do with your life, DO NOT GO HERE. This place already has such a bad reputation by word of mouth, which is the best form of advertising. Unfortunately, it's not positive advertising for this hospital. It's similar to the ad for the famous roach motel - "They check in, but they don't check out." Good luck to all!!!

The ER service and attention it is the WORST! The wait time is ridiculuos, you hace to stay there FOR EVER! At less 4 hours.

Avoid this hospital. They could let you die in the er and wont even check on you LITERALLY.

Horrible I've been to this hospital four times and I've never had a Good experience. My last visit was like 3 days ago arrived at the hospital around 9:20 left at 3:03 and still had not been seen by a doctor it was so bad I'll never go there again. Before that experience I went there like like two weeks ago for a migraine and the nurse couldn't find my vein my arm was bruised for a little over a week I wouldn't recommend anyone go to go there

My father was taken to this hospital because of an abnormalities of the heart at 95 they put a pacemaker ND he's doing great. Even though we are in really bad times and nurses are very, extremely busy they answered all my questions at all times. The only comaint I have would be for the Vardiologist that I never spoke to hi. But its ok cause he did a wonderful job as well. THANK YOU ALL for your love through all this and may the lord give you all strength.

Seriously, take my advice and if you are EVER seeking medical attention for burns, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. I really don t even know where to begin but we were rushed here from Boca West for my husband who had 2nd and 3rd degree burns on 50% of his face, arms and hands from a chemical explosion. We sat in the waiting room at Kendall for 3 hours before even being seen. Once taken to the back of the ER, my husband was given pain medicine and a gerney where he slept in a hallway for 14 hours. I asked a nurse for a blanket for him once he was asleep, the answer... we have no clean blankets. A burn victim, no blankets? The neglect was disgusting. Offered nothing to eat and drink the entire time he was there. We ended up asking for discharge papers where I immediately drive him to Jackson Memorial and the treatment he got here compared to Kendall was literally night and day. He was seen by doctors and in a private room within 5 minutes of walking into Ryder Trauma Center. I would never take anyone who I love and care about to Kendall regional ever again.

This hospital is an incredible robbery, better to die than to go to this hospital

After two days waiting for a bed my dad (81) was transfered to a room. We were waiting 2 days for a private room since he is immonusupresor. (Leukimia) He has recurrent pneumonia history among other conditions. He had a wound with MRSA. ( very contagios) That are the reasons why we were asking for private room. Today he got transfer to a share room at the first floor. ( pediatric). Since he became very agitated he got transfer again to another room with another patient. In less than 2 hours he visit 2 different rooms. They could not ask for a sitter to watch the patient in the first floor. I guess They need to save money to remodeling or buying a certifications for the hospital. They overload nurses to save money and sacrificed patients. Not only that, my father was in poured diet. When I came to see him he was eating rice, bean and fish. He needs to drink nectar water and they gave him a pitch full of water with ice. After talking 3 ninutes with the doctor who worked with Silvia Betancourt MD he told me that he got only 5 more minutes for me. He should be working in another field but not with people and less in a profession which require a lot of empathy. Case managers departments is a disaster. They transfer the cases just with a little info about the patient. Please , please , please do not send your love ones to that factory. This has been the worse experience that I ever had. Choose UM, Jackson South, Batist. UM are very professional and courteous. Ah! I forgot to mention in emergency room the trash can inside the room was full to the top and very smelly. (Dirty pampers) Hopefully by tomorrow I will be out of this Matadero.

My sister has been in emergency since this morning due to a minor stroke. No questions answered, no IV has been put on her. My own family has had to do things that the hospital
should be doing! She isn t allowed to eat but we can t even have an answer as to why! This has been going on since this morning. It s obvious that they are trying to monitor her for 24 hours to release her so it is no longer their problem! As an attorney, I honestly don t understand how these professionals
don t think of whom they might be dealing with. This hospital and it s employees are completely incompetent. I guess it s time for some people to lose their licenses.

Dr. Boneva is an excellent surgeon. She is very professional, very skillful, has excellent bedside manners and very dedicated to her patients. She always takes the time to talk to her patients and explain their condition to them and to answer all of their questions even though she is an extremely busy trauma surgeon. She has saved so many lives and is praised by her patients and her staff constantly!! She is very passionate about her work. She is very compassionate about her patients and always makes them feel at ease no matter how catastrophic their condition is. She is calm under pressure. She takes the time to go see her patients and see how they are doing even on her days off. She always follows up on her patients. Extremely qualified, this surgeon knows how to handle any situation and surgery and is very successful in her practice. She has tremendous knowledge, education and skills. She has a heart of gold!! She is an amazing surgeon!!! When I have a challenging patient or a difficult case I look for Dr. Boneva s opinion and expertise. When I am in need for surgery I ask for Dr. Boneva. If any of my patients need surgery or any of my family members I would ask for Dr. Boneva.

Have had to ask five different nurses to help with my incontinent grandmother. For over a hour now nobody has done a single thing even though they have LITERALLY WALKED RIGHT PAST FECES ON THE FLOOR. This hospital should be defunded and closed. Staff is friendly but friendly doesn t mean anything if you re not getting medical service.

Horrible hospital after surgery was left in a hallway without medical attention I waited 8 hours before I was taken to the 5 floor in filty, ugly and dirty room.

AND TO TOP IT OFF THEY DISCHARGE YOU WITH OUT HAVING THE DOCTOR PASS BY TO TAKE A LOOK AT YOU OR TO GIVE YOU AN EXPLANATION TO THE SURGERY THAT WAS DONE. THEY DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE IN PAIN AND ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS KICK YOU OUT!

My wife is there as I'm writing this comment. She is sharing the room with an older patient and a nurse just went to her room this morning and verbally abused the older patient and then verbally abused my wife. What kind of nurses work there??? I guess its an inconvenience to the nurses at this hospital that people are sick and fragile. I will never set foot in this hospital again.

I was in an emergency room because of a pelvic pain and they did nothing! as well as between I left, the only kind person is the lady who attends the entrance but the rest of the staff is horrible the nurse who looked after me looked like a carcher with the respect to those who work in the butchers, the "Doctor" a prepotent guy Rude without a minimum of humanity was the worst experience of my life. When a person goes to an emergency it is because they really need help not because we are willing to pay the insurance deductible. What is expected is attention I am not asking for anything given away, that hospital is full of students who act in the same way that the doctors a hospital horror I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE !! my visit was 27 sep 2018 attend any other hospital even in an urgent care will attend better than here. It doesn'' T work! bad attention !

Regretfully the service was horrible. My husband was in a diabetes comma for over to weeks and the nursing staff was horrible, not tentative at all, which is really sad at this day and time when we are all going through unknown territory. The only good experience was the kind medical assistance from Dr. Ruiz who ease a little of the much tension our family was going trough. I'm truly hoping none of my family members end up in this hospital.

If you want to be treated worst than an animal go there! This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. The nurses are working under so much pressure that they have nothing good to offer. Poor management. Everything comes late if it ever comes. Please avoid yourself another pain and do not visit this horrible hospital. I am leaving this place now after 4 days because I had no other choice.

from the test for the covid 19, the result, then the care for my daughter who had to be admitted to the emergency department, then hospitalized and then to the ICU was excellent, the doctors, nurses and staff in general were very friendly and professional, they were diligent to save my daughter's life, first God and you did a great job, I am indebted and deeply grateful. The last straw that my wife has had to suffer since 12:30 at night and it is already 7:30 am and they have not had a cesarean section yet ... she was told on Friday 09/21 that the baby was too big for her (9libras) so she was scheduled for C-section on Tuesday 09/25/2018 at 10am, which already seemed wrong, since if she was 39 weeks pregnant, it was logical to think that she could go into labor at any time.
We came to the hospital on Monday 09/24 after talking to the doctor since the contractions were every 8 minutes and he told me that he would advance the cesarean section ... well, I have no idea what he meant by advancing the caesarean, it's already 7 : 40am, my wife can not hold so much pain, contractions every 3 minutes or less, more than 3cm of dilation and the doctor nothing that arrives, in the meantime they just told me that everything is ready and only the doctor needs to arrive ... I think it's a tremendous irresponsibility !!!

How a surgery is scheduled to be done when there was not enough rooms available for those patients that will require to stay in observation an additional day. The room that was given to me was filthy and not clean properly. I was scare of getting sick due to lack of cleanliness.

If I could give this hospital -0 that would be my rate. I went there with a pain on my stomach and they just did a scan to me. Between waiting and the simple test they did to me they send me a bill for $30,000 for only 6 hours on this place. The best thing is that they couldn't find anything on me.

Never go there for any emergency.

What we went through with my 94 year old mother in the so called "TRAUMA CENTER" really caused a permanent TRAUMA IN ALL OF US!!!

MY MOTHER PASSED AWAY FROM CANCER SIX MONTHS AFTER THIS HORRIBLE ABUSE SHE ENDURED AT THIS PLACE. A CANCER PATIENT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL THE NEGLECT MY ELDERLY MOTHER WENT THROUGH.

TODAY, I AM STILL NOT RECOVERED FROM THE MEMORIES OF WHAT I SAW MY MOTHER GO THROUGH IN THAT PLACE WHERE SHE WAS TAKEN BECAUSE SHE FELL DOWN AND WAS INJURED ON ONE SIDE BECAUSE OF THE FALL.

NO ONE WOULD TELL US WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WHAT MY MOTHER HAD. SHE WAS TAKEN THERE BY MISTAKE BY RESCUE BECAUSE THE PROXIMITY OF OUR HOME TO THAT PLACE.

MY MOTHER WAS ALWAYS EXCELLENTLY CARE FOR AT BAPTIST HOSPITAL.

THIS WAS SO SAD!!! SO PAINFUL AND SHAMELESS!
AFTER OVER TWENTY FOUR HOURS OF LAYING IN A TRAUMA CENTER STRETCHER WITHOUT FOOD AND ONLY SIPS OF WATER AND BEING A DIABETIC TYPE TWO, FINALLY SOME SURGEON DID A SURGERY ON MY MOTHER.

MY DAUGHTER HAD TO RUN AFTER THE SURGEON TO FIND OUT WHAT MY MOTHER HAD. THE SURGEON TOLD HER VERY LIMITED INFORMATION AS HE WALKED AWAY AS IF MY MOTHER WAS LESS THAN AN ANIMAL.

I pray to God to deliver my love ones and including me, and any Miami-Dade County citizen from ever being taken to this MATADERO.

The y ARE so NEGLECTFUL and they lack ALL RESPECT, COMPASSION AND PROFESSIONAL CARE FOR THEIR PATIENTS.

The nurses, doctors and all employees don't know how to talk, THEY ALL SCREAM!!!!



On shift change THE KISSING AMONG EACH OTHER WAS #1 PRIORITY, AND THEIR JOKING AROUND AND LAUGHING VEERY LOUD WAS SHAMELESS, NOT TO MENTION THE PINCHING ON THEIR BUTTOCK AREA BACK AND FORTH AND LOUD LAUGHING. During this pinching behavior even a male nurse fell off from the chair.

At least they should change this place name from KENDALL REGIONAL HOSPITAL. lol to "THE CARLUCHO'S HAPPY HOUR!!!

HOW THE HEALTH AUTHORITIES ALLOW THIS PLACE TO CONTINUE TO BE OPEN????

UNBELIEVABLY Filthy ER room! The Doctors were great! The nursing and administrative staff however were a bunch of clueless severely unprofessional millennials. ALL were texting and laughing and carrying on as if on a reality TV show. Far more concerned with conferencing out loud about their lunch options than actually working.

I have been with my 5-year-old daughter for 4 days in this hospital "supposedly" diagnosed with epilepsy foci and a specialist (neurologist) has not yet come to visit her in the room where she is admitted, I see only indications and tests that evidently guides someone with knowledge but that no part appears x.
What a disappointment I have, if it were not x the nurses who are super dedicated and because I am worried x the health of my baby, I would have left this institution for such poor medical ethics. TERIBLE

I have my husband in room 4108. He underwent surgery yesterday, July 8, the operation went very well, but since 2 am he is calling me because he is short of breath, his body feels swollen. They do not pick up the phone he is tired of calling with the button and nothing until 8:50 am today, July 9, I managed to speak to the doctor's service and I exposed my complaint, they went to see him but they did not give me an explanation, I arrived at the hospital and nobody gives information
They know that nurses do not give proper care to patients because they do not allow the family member to remain or at least they demand more responsibility from the nursing staff and here I am on the outside praying that they do not
Complicate my husband that I do not know where I am going to go to tell the abuse to the patient

I am recovering from 6 hrs foot surgery.
Overall a dysfunctional organization. The problems are systemic and pervasive. Lack of accountability in the clinical execution of routine medical care e.g pain management.

The staff was very attentive and friendly, they treated me with a lot of respect and each procedure explained it to me very well and the nurse who took care of me at night was aware of everything. Truly everyone was nice, l

I was just driving on the palmetto and i felt bad and a weird pain in my heart and came to kendall regional. I came in alone through the emergency room and they treated me so good. In two minutes they took me right in to the fifth floor. First thing i did was tell them i was in pain and all the nurses and staff started treating me immediately. In 4 days, they had treated me and now i feel great. Thank you to kendall regional medical center and all the amazing staff.

The care and attention was great. All nurses and staff were very pleasant and attentive. There was only one nurse in recovery that was impatient ,rough and rude (Philippine descent). Luckily it was shift change shortly after I arrived at recovery and she was replaced with Gema who was sweet and caring. Overall, satisfied and will go back to Kendall Regional if need be in the future.

Bathroom is dirtyyy, they make you walk around with you urine sample. Gave my friend a room to go into and the sheet on the bed had a poop stain on it or pee stain i dont know. There seems to be a bit of blood on the floor under her bed. Id take baptist over this place any day. Only giving them a two star because they got us in the dirty room fast.

We have a bad experience and services all The nurses have two cellphones I understand that they have to have one during working hours for hospital calls but the nurses that were in charge of Me were answering personal phone calls during the working hours
They toll me to be there at 7:30am and the surgery was at 1:00pm
1- in the pre surgery room the nurse that was preparing me for the surgery received a call from her family and she was talking to she or him for a while their where talking of somebody to pick a girl from the school and we waiting for her to finish her call.
2. In the surgery room the guy that supposed to put the medicine received a personal phone call and also he answer the call and took his time talking to them until he said I will call you later I have something to do, the nurses were waiting for him to fallow the instructions
3. When they took me to the room the nurses also were answer their personal calls
A) the nurse that supposed to put the IV when she was doing that she received a personal call she was talking about to see a house that they were selling she took her time as well in the phone and the other lady that was with her, I think she is a student she was waiting also on the nurse to finish the call.
B)in the night shift the urine bag was full and they suppose to check it often, so was full I started feel sick my stomach started swallow so I call the nurse by the bed device and she never respond or came to see what i need, so I woke up my wife to call the nurse because I was feeling very bad, when my wife went to the nurse station to call her; the nurse was With her headphones watching Something on her phone, my wife explained to her what was happening and she came to the room the nurse complained that somebody move the IV bottoms that s why was happening that problem my wife and I explained to her that we don t know how that works and we never will Move or touch any bottom that was connected to my body
So she was very nervous trying to empty the urine bag because it was a negligence of her.
C)next day when the doctor came to release me I told him how was I feeling with a pain (burning sensation) and he said you not suppose to feel like anymore because of the medicine that you received (when he was saying that he saw that the medicine was full in the plastic bag next to the IV) he told me they didn t put you the medicine let me talk to the nurse and you have to wait for another hour until it finish, the nurse forgot to put the medicine during the night
We have a very bad experience because they have access to use their personal cellphones during work time, I hope the hospital CEO do something because this is not a professional job, there are many negligences in this hospital.

The day you want to die, definitely come to this hospital ... I have been waiting for more than three hours for the surgeon who operated on me a month ago who told me to come for an emergency, that he would be waiting for me here because he My wound burst because of an abscess that was done to me ... I went three days ago to his office and he told me that he had nothing, so he sent me to the gynecologist and now it turns out that I have been sitting for him for three hours and he is not coming other doctors that horror and how fast they are to collect .....

Never go to this hospital they treat you worst than an animal. My dogs get better treatment at their hospital than me just trying to ask for a patience a was throw around 3 different people even the security. Comon i work at retail management and if it was my hospital everyone will be fired starting for management

My mother was at Kendall Regional on the 5th floor. All I can say is DO NOT LEAVE your love ones side. Keep your eyes open at all times. Better still pick another hospital.

I truly doubt talking to you about our experience at Kendall Regional will change my past experience. In addition to the lack of compassion and lack pf communication between staff and family, I found the flies flying all over the lobby. Not only were there flies in the lobby, the flies rode up in the elevator to the fourth/fifth floor. We complained about the flies and nothing was done about them. Where there are flies, you find maggots.

This is the worst hospital experience I have ever had. My son was brought here by ambulance because it is the closest one to us. If you can, avoid this place by all means. The doctors never show up and the days go by and nobody takes control of the situation. Meanwhile they are charging your plan. Awful service and the worst and most stressful experience. Dr. Miguel Flores, psychiatrist is the most inhumane and biggest jerk.

Kendal regional does a team work of miracles. From kitchen to surgent, the nurses, the therapist, amazing bunch of caring people. Thank you for the care I received. May God bless you all

I was so terrified to give birth here because I know that the actual hospital has not been great in past experiences. My insurance only covered Kendall so I had no choice. Honestly I had the best service ever! Everyone was super attentive and informative every minute of the day even at 3am when my daughter didn t stop crying and I didn t know what to do. The maternity center is a completely different experience. I am definitely not afraid to have my next children here. But I also can t forget that I had the best doctor Dr. Runyon!

terrible hospital, I arrived with a lot of pain in the ear they let my tympanum burst, it pierced me, they left me completely full of blood even on the floor I fell because I lost my balance and the doctor did not take care of me, the only thing said by an nurse who told them I had to work with the nails the worst hospital

Despite having stroke like conditions, they waited 36 hours to complete a CT scan and 4 days to complete an MRI. Most staff including doctors and nurses can not speak English fluently. They did not monitor my brother for hydration., he was very dehydrated. They do not have an open MRI, so we had to ride on a late ambulance that did not send the required staff to load and unload him from the stretcher. If you walk up to the nurses station needing something they seldom care, you must interrupt. On several occasions I saw staff using their cell phones for social media, etc. The parking situation is a disaster, not enough room, garage stairs are littered with trash. It seems finding a staff member that cares is the exception, not the rule. I told 3 different people my brother needed a band-aid, the 3rd person was his nurse, and she was leaving the room WITHOUT applying a band-aid, I had to remind her again. Even the simple things are nearly impossible here. Sent my brother home without proper prescriptions, no referrals for the specialists they knew 5 days ago he absolutely needed.
Basically a 3rd world hospital in a 3rd world city. They advertise being top 5%, I wouldn t take my dogs here.

If I could rate them lower I would. The staff doesn't care, no one knows or cares about the patients. At least that's what I've seen and felt. I know nothing about my fathers status in over 3 days I'm soooo tire of this

This place treated me horible. Security was very nasty to me when my wife was feeling horrible . We received very bad service at the emergency room. If you have a emergency don't come here.

I brought my mother to Kendall Regional Medical Center after she fell very sick while at work. It was the closest hospital from where she worked so we went to KRMC. It took about an hour to be seen, mind you it was about 1AM in the morning. She was admitted was given an I.V. Line, not after the Nurse tried about six times [to find her vein]. They ran tests after tests and finally we were given a diagnosis. The procedure would have cost about $5,000.

We left the hospital, went straight to Baptist near our home. We were given a diagnosis after one hour. The procedure was scheduled in two days and everything was done for. Everything covered by Insurance.

GO TO BAPTIST unless you don't mind much going to Kendall.

I was brought into the ER quickly and saw a doctor right away. Everything was excellent.

I came to this hospital immediately after being in a car crash with my humerus pretty severely fractured. I came into the emergency room in massive amounts of pain screaming from how bad it was, ladies in the emergency room didn t seem to care or be phased by it at all, I was literally screaming for someone to help me. They took forever to give me pain medications until the x ray people came in. First of all I want to say that these x ray technicians looked like they had no idea what they were doing. One of them put my arm in a position where my broken bone popped out completely and I almost passed out from how much pain I felt. They told me at around 3 am when I came in and that I would get admitted into a room immediately and I would get surgery ASAP. ..... I didn t get surgery for another 3 days..... I waited and they lied and told me total BS for those 3 days telling me I was getting into surgery, NOBODY LIKE ABSOLUTELY NOBODY BOTHERED TO MENTION that surgeons come in tues and wed. I had come in on a Saturday night. I didn t eat that entire time. The were SUPER stingy about my pain medication, mind you I was waiting 3 days with a very bad fracture that needed surgery. I would cry from being in pain almost the whole time. The only thing I can say is my nurses and my surgeon were great which is the only reason I put one star. I genuinely don t reccomend this hospital to anyone if you re in intense amounts of pain, wait a little longer and go to a better hospital than this one. Oh and wait til u see the medical bills, killing time to make you pay more. I will make it very clear in any of my future emergencies that I WILL NOT be taken here again. I have since heard horror stories about this hospital from friends of mine of this hospitals malpractice.

This hospital is for Hispanics only. When you complain about anything they become hostile. When I said to the doctor how horrible the service was all he said was ok I'll discharge you

I did not realize care like this existed in America, it was so bad. I was vacationing in Key West and broke my leg. The break was so severe, they transported me to Kendall Regional, without asking me where I wanted to go. When I got to Kendall regional, I was left in the ER for over 24 hours because there was not a bed in the ortho unit. During my time in the ER, whilst under heavy sedation, they kept asking me to to sign forms that I would be financially responsible for my HC. I kept asking them if they took my insurance provider. They would refuse to tell me, saying they did not know, but still would demand I sign the forms. One guy even went as far as to tell me I should not worry about if they took my insurance, I should just sign. After hours of demanding to know if they accepted BCBS, someone from the admin office finally came down and said they did.
The ER care was non-existent other than to give out pain meds. My boyfriend had to provide nursing care, including helping me with bed pans, as there was no staff. No one spoke English to be able to ask for help. Finally after 24 hrs, I was transferred to the ortho unit.
Again, I had only one nurse that spoke english and the nurses's aides had bad attitudes and did not help. My boyfriend had to help me with everything again. The entire week I was there, they did not ask if I wanted to brush my teeth or have a bath. My boyfriend made sure my teeth were brushed every day. I finally had to demand the one bath I received. My hospital gowns were only changed 3 times in a week. They did change my bandages but used really strong tape and literally tore large patches of skin of of my leg which still have not healed over a week after discharge.
The surgeon was good, but I only spoke to him three times the entire time I was there.
Truly the worst healthcare experience of my life . In the future I will always research where I want to go in case of a HC emergency if I am traveling away from home. If it wasn't for my boyfriend providing care, I would have laid in my own filth for an entire week. Please do not leave your relatives for a moment if you have to bring them to Kendall Regional.

My nurses were incredible and made all the difference.... both pre-op and post-op!

They leave old dusty hospital beds and wheelchairs in the hallways, seems like no one comes by to check on loved ones leaving machines constantly beeping in the room. Doctors and nurses do not communicate so u have to keep re explaining the situation to any and everyone who had to treat the patient (in this case my grandmother) A small handful of nurses were great, all of the others have a smug attitude and seem to care more about emptying beds than proper care for patients. Would NEVER reccomend this hospital to ANYONE. Not even my worst enemy. This hospital is a complete joke.

I had my First baby here, with Dr.Marimon. The hospital was amazing, the nurses were awesome. My all overall experience was just fantastic. I am currently pregnant with my 2nd child, I am also delivering in Kendall with Dr.Marimon. I guess everybody has a different experience. the only horrible thing is the parking, is really bad is always FULL. But apart from that the hospital is amazing!

My wife is pregnant and she is 39 weeks old and she has pains and has been staining blood but when she always goes to the emergency they always tell her the same thing and the doctol always makes me send her back to the house and pami Dr. Marimon is crap

My dad was transported to this hospital on 7/30/2020 because he was unresponsive... we are not from the area as I stated to the nurse in the emergency room which indicated that he was being admitted..after waiting 4 hours to hear something back ,calling constantly while the phone just rung and even got hung up on 2 times..The charge nurse and the nurse Rowan were very unprofessional and even stated that it wasn't their fault that I couldn't get in contact with anybody and hung the phone up..this is by far very unprofessional and I will being doing a complaint with the hospital..what happened to treating people with respect??..I'm very disgusted with the staff at this hospital

Check in was fast. They gv you tablets to speed up the process. Nurses were not on top of their game. 1st nurse who gv me the venous catheter was ok. Pleasant, but I ask if the tight sweater would be an issue & maybe I should take it off. She said no, I was right. Next, she told me to change in a bathroom, which wasn't in the best clean shape. I didn't know why I couldn't have changed in the room by scooting the curtain. The bathroom was tight and I had no help with my gown. Then, I go into the room to lay on the bed and the 2 nurses are no help what's so ever. I have a venous catheter, gown unbutton, a purse and a bag with my belongings and they are telling me where to place my things. Hello, a little help would be nice. There was a pregnant nurse which told me to place my things in the bottom of my bed but there was barely any space. Finally, my Anesthesiologist came and saw I was struggling so she lifted the bed 4 inches and placed my purse underneath the bed. She introduced herself and I was a bit more calm when she spoke with me. The pregos nurse went back to her cellphone, as if her job wasn't important. I have Anxiety and seeing how careless staff are, especially when I'm about to undergo a procedure were I will be asleep, doesn't help my condition. The doctor Marin was great & the Anasthesiologist was a savior to my Anxiety caused by these two careless nurses. If you can't help a patient, find another career!!!

I went to the new ER on kendall drive and 117 AV. Honestly, beautiful service, their staff was amazing and Dr. Joseph Averbach is the best. I'd like to give 10 starts only to the Dr.

I was transferred from Baptist homestead to kendall for a heart cath. The heart cath was done by Dr. Montilla. Dr. Montilla and his team were amazing. They were extremely professional. They made me feel comfortable. Super caring team. A special shout out to my nurse Dimas who was so incredibly nice. Cant say enough about all of them.

I had a good experience when I stayed last month. I was on the 4th floor, nice rooms, nice nurses, good techs, and most importantly one of the podiatrists on staff, Dr. Jorge Nasr, was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. The only reason I give it four stars and not 5 was because at the time of discharge I felt pushed out, I had to go in a matter of minutes... not cool!

We call from a Nursing Home facility to know the status of our patient and the operator (woman) on 01/05/18 at 1:40 am was very very very rude.

I do not recommend this hospital to anyone! Horrible service To top it off, when my family was ready to leave, I had to get off in a wheelchair, which according to the nurse would be 20 minutes and it became more than 3 hours. I did score a star, but one is too much. They have zero!

Take your family member to Jackson memorial, my grandma got critical within two weeks after only coming for a superficial burn.... no assessments!

A relative of mine was in a car accident in the middle of the week at night. He was transported to this horrible hospital because it was the only "trauma" equipment hospital near us.
We arrive at 11:30, and they place him in a trauma room. Even after all of his tests were clear and he was speaking and joking around...the second we said we want to be transferred to Baptist, the refused to and never took off the "trauma" lable. It took them 6 hours to find a bed for him! Not a room...A BED!
So, my elderly relative was on an uncomfortable stretcher for 6 hours. Then, they clean his wounds..and left the blood on his stretcher and all over the floor...for 5 hours.
Don't get me started on the disgusting bathrooms and staff walking around doing nothing wrapped in blankets like they're just hanging out.
This hospital is a disgrace to all medical facilities.
The only thing they do well is finding out how to hike up your bill.

This hospital is garbage, if you want you're dearly loved one to live another day please go to palmetto hospital instead this hospital will kill your loved ones. This place needs to be shut down!!

Second time having my baby in this hospital, maternity is great.

This institution has a long medical history, however it saddens me to say that my dear friend Kristin Forrester has had an unpleasant experience to say the least. She was admitted to this facility only to be faced with an array of issues not only regarding her health in it's current state but also her stress level. The nurses there had an unwelcoming vibe and seemed to be uninterested in the rehabilitation of kristen in result, she had to go through unnecessary evaluation that unknowlingly took a serious toll. In the end the Surgen gets positive feedback because he did a perfect job. Hopefully the staff can improve in their motivation skills. In relation to that we hope that this facility will take care of this issue as soon as possible because they are a current practice and currently helping the public. Thankyou

Excellent attention from all the staff. Since we entered the emergency, my husband was treated quickly, they did all the necessary exams. Then he was treated by the cardiology staff, including Dr. Omaira and Dr. Montilla. Excellent professionals Then in the ICU the excellent nursing staff, super attentive and educated. Among them Veronica, Yipsy and Julio were always aware that everything was fine. All the equipment of the ICU EXCELLENT. RECOMMENDED 100%

My mom is here and she's getting me transfers me to kendall regional.

The staff who work there are not professional. I went in for a biopsy and after three to four days, I called my surgeon regarding the report from the biopsy of Kendall Regional but have no answers and after one week and without telling me what is going my surgeon assistant told me to call Kendall Regional (Radiology) to schedule another biopsy. During the second biopsy they told me what happened and it turns out that they lost the sample!!??!! They not only delayed my diagnostic but also put me in risk with another biopsy.
After this very bad experience, paying for a very bad service and putting me in risk because of their mistake, do not think they even deserve one star.

The nurses and staff were very gentle and funny. They made my day since I was a little bit nervous before the surgery. I remember Victor and Anda (Special thanks for you guys) but everyone was really nice. I recommend Kendall Regional 100%. Thank you Dr. Santiago excellent job with my surgery.

Everyone is extremely friendly, best hospital I ever been too.

This review is for the maternity department. I am so grateful with all the nurses and the people who assisted me during the delivery of my baby. I was helped since the first moment I arrived with strong contractions at the hospital. I would like to thank specially 3 nurses that helped me so much during my delivery, they were kind, they gave me hope and helped me physically and emotionally , they treated me with such care and respect (Josie Lage, Alice Arce, Rosie Lippelt ) I will forever remember these ladies.
The maternity units are very well equipped; the medical team was very well prepared. My stay at the hospital was great, everyone was helpful; they provided me with all supplies and gave me and the baby a 5 star treatment. I will always remember this hospital with gratitude in my heart.
