I had been in this hospital before and it was a good hospital now I can said it is a disaster I have to wait for medication 70 mins and when you ask they said you have to wait and wait they treat you in a middle of a hall. My experience was really But really bad.

They treated me very well, they are excellent professionals.

We got our kid here just three days ago. The whole maternity staff is so caring and lovely that will make you feel like home. The breast milk support lady was amazing, and all the nurses will provide great advice for us. Every new child makes us feel like new parents all over again, and everyone here wants to make sure you get the proper knowledge and support. Thanks!!!

I work for funeral homes and every time I came to pick up a body the nursing supervisor tread us like nothing, they took like an hour for release the body's , they just don't care about it, they think they are the only people work here in Miami, this hospital is the most disrespectful in all miami

Incredible staff. Could not be happier with my stay at KRMC.

This place is the absolute worst. I have been in the emergency waiting room for over 2 hours. Two nurses in the front desk did absolutely nothing except talk to each other and use words like f**ck and s*it. This is is why this hospital has the reputation it does. The way they treat people is unacceptable. It truly is a place you go to die.

I don't even know where to begin...
The Emergency Room staff and Trauma Unit staff is not the worst, but I've definitely experienced better. As for the rest of the Kendall Regional staff, I will have to say that 85% of them are unprofessional, disrespectful and they do not belong in the health care industry. They seem to be understaffed and stressed out which obviously in return they display little tolerance towards their duties and job. My recent experience was an ederly family member which got hit with a severe stroke and was admitted to a step down unit from ICU.
Unable to move her Left side, open her eyes and even less walk, we would frequently find her in a pool of urine, fecal matter and covered in bed sores.
We arrived one afternoon were the dinner tray was been retrieved from the room and the food wasn't even touched, obviously since she couldn't eat by herself, the food tray would sit at a table in front of her for hours without her having a taste of her meal. Unfortunately she couldn't be transferred out of this hell hole until she was deemed medically stable and took it upon ourselves to have her transferred. It took several visits to the administration department and countless complaints and threats of this incompetence been reported to the news just to see action in their part.
Regretfully I've had multiple experiences which all have been bad. If it was up to me these multiple nightmares, might of been narrowed down to just a couple, at the most. Unfortunately I live very close to this hospital and if one of my family members are in dired need of medical assistance which requires the Fire Department's transportation, they are required by law to take the patient to the closest medical facility. When this type of emergency is avoided, Baptist Health South is where we all go.
I'm truly surprised on how this organization has managed to stay in business and how the managed to get away with this type of negligence for so long.

I recently had my son in this hospital. The attention was EXCELLENT from all the nurses and of course my wonderful OBGYN Dr. Tudela. I will definitely reccomend this hospital's maternity ward to any expecting mother.

My mother in law was scheduled for surgery at this hospital for what was supposed to be as she was told a routine procedure to remove her kidney. The procedure went wrong by cutting off blood flow to her bowls killing them inside her. She was taken into the or a second time where she came out on life support basically brain dead. Nurses and staff tried to hurry everything along while she was dying trying to move her into hospice trying to wipe their hands clean of the malpractice by doctors and staff. Even her death certificate reads causes of death that have nothing to do with what happened to her nor her medical history. We tried to at least get the death certificate corrected but doctors refuse. The law in florida states that if a patient is unmarried and has no children under 18 no one can pursue a malpractice case against a doctor or hospital. These people killed my mother-in-law and the state of florida protects them from justice. Stay away from this hospital and keep in mind that doctors that know your family history know when they can be liable and when not.

The ER staff and floor nursing staff was great.

However, I saw the cardiologist and his team at 11:00 am and was told that I could go home. At 3:30 pm I was still there. I approached my nurse and asked her how late patients are discharged from the hospital. She said that someone like me that was cleared and could drive myself home it could be anytime. She asked if I wanted her to call the hospitalist, I said yes. It turns out that the cardiologist did not update my chart on the computer and the hospitalist did not know that I had been cleared to go home.

The nurse manager was at the station and said that sometimes the doctor forgets to inform the hospitalist that the patient can be discharged. I was waiting three and a half hours to be discharged because there was no communication between the cardiologist and the hospitalist. If I had not insisted I would have been there for another three and a half hours. I find this completely unacceptable. If the doctor has so many patients he forgets to update the chart in the computer then he needs to carry an iPad or go back to old school methods and have a print out of the patient's for the day to keep him on track of which patient's charts have been updated.

Many thanks to all the medical and nursing staff for their dedication and care even in times of a pandemic!

1. Heparin IV bag wasn t changed when empty for six hours.
2. Room absolutely filthy with trash and used syringes on floor which I photographed and discussed with several nurses.
3. Husband has both right and left hand/arm broken. Breakfast just dumped on tray. I arrived at 0930 and he had not been fed, nothing to drink, and breakfast was cold...he is incapable of feeding himself. If I hadn t been able to come by he would have gone hungry and not eaten.
4. Very rude nurse stripped filthy linens from adjoining patient s bed and dragged across the foot of our bed while I was feeding him, filthy pathogen laced dust flying everywhere. This same nurse proceeded to rip into me for 10 minutes about something...in Spanish. I DONT SPEAK SPANISH! and told her so. She said she was sorry but then DIDN T REPEAT IT IN ENGLISH! I spoke to several staff today who told me straight up they didn t speak English at all. Good grief.
5. Filthy blood soaked pillow at foot of bed all day. I finally just kicked it out of our space at 1700 hrs after multiple request from nurse.
6. Husband has still not been given a sponge bath and is filthy, blood all over face, mouth, nose and cheeks, head and hands.
7. Two full days and despite multiple request we have not been able to meet and speak with hand surgeon. It s not that we missed him, he just never came by.
8. Tentatively this same mysterious hand surgeon has scheduled hand surgery for this Sunday, in spite of no communication with me or husband. How friggin pompous is that. NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN SUNDAY UNTIL THIS SURGEON SPEAKS WITH US. WE decide if we elect to have this finger surgery, NOT the surgeon. He gives us options and if surgery is one then WE decide, NOT the surgeon.
9. In spite of watching at least six nurses at the nurses station laughing and playing around with their iPhone was told to get my own water pitcher of water.
10. Not my job was the general attitude...many requests or concerns were met with I don t do that but I will tell so and so . And then it never happened.
11. Room bordered on filthy, trash on floor, trash can overflowing with pathonogenic medical waste.

Honestly the list just goes on and on.

My husband is still a patient in room 321, Mr. C. Frankenfield. If you want to discuss this forget about us calling you...you come to our room and we will discuss it person to person. From the complaints it s pretty obvious whoever is responsible for all of this is either just playing lip service, is incapable, or just plain unwilling to do anything about this.

All of the complaints listed in these reviews are spot on and mirror ours and are deserved. And you know them, yet appear to not care...the same general comments haven t changed and yet no disposition.

I agree with the majority...this is the worst hospital we ve ever been in, including those in the Bahamas.

First of all, Nurses do not read the chart two times they tried to give me medicine that all ready was cancelled. Had to get really serious and make them read the chart. Blood pressure medicine. I believe it could have been disastrous if I had taken the medication.
They lied on my release papers. They never educated me about stroke. Doctors did not even had the courtesy to visit me and explain what happened or what could happen, not even explain the results of the test.

Hospital very dirty.

They never answer the phone! The doctors are great but the staff minus the nurse are unprofessional.

One word "Ariana" the best employee Kendall has hired!! .. She is soo dedicated in putting smiles in kids faces no matter what circumstances they are in. I have never in my life met a person who gives it her ALL and does it with soo much joy. My daughter had 2nd degree burns in her face and after being in the hispital for four days she was beggining to not like being there. Right before her surgery Ariana went to cheer my daughter up and NEVER left her side untill she had surgery. With games and bubbles etc... Just amazing i was extremely impressed by her. We go back once a week and she always wants a call when we are around. Just unbelievable. I am sooooo grateful i met her just because after what we just went through somehow she managed to get a smile on my face. Thank you!!! We will always remember the great staff anf doctors. Amazing!!

This nurse, L. Falise, was very rude and referred to the parents of a child as dumb and a wimp. No acceptable. Shameful, why are these type of employees hired in these places.

I have been treated in the hospital on many occasions, always with the best professionalism and concern on the part of all the staff. Doctors, Nurses and Assistants. I want to highlight with total gratitude the treatment I received from Dr. Bernal from the Trauma Unit, she is an excellent professional, concerned and I am very grateful to her especially and to all the wonderful professionals at the center.

I was really impressed with all the staff and nurses at this hospital, everyone was really nice and attentive. I had surgery here and they treated me great. It felt very comforting. The little cafe spot they have on the first floor has great coffee to!

Was admitted for a Broken shoulder & foot. The hospital & staff were amazing. Dr Gomez is not only adorable but he had great bedside manner. Listened to all my problems & fixed me right up. God bless you Dr Gomez for taking my pain away & treating me w the utmost concern & kindness. The hospital even went as far as to schedule my follow up visit with an orthopedic for me. Their equipment is state of the art. All x-ray procedure machines were brought to my room. I never had to leave the comfort of my bed. I was in so much pain when I walked in & left happy & felt well cared for.

Dr Gomez you are an asset to Kendall Regional. I wanna thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart for fixing me up & putting a smile back on my face.

My mother was just admitted on tuesday & they took her clothes and valuables and now they're missing. We have been trying to track down her belongings for 4 days and nothing has been done. This is 100% unacceptable and im going to file a major report! This is insane and wont be tolerated. Miko was the only one trying to find a solution on the 4th floor. Everyone else there was garbage! Yall definitely need to clean house if her belongings are not found! DO NOT GO TO THIS DAMN HOSPITAL! THE ONLY REASON I PUT ONE STAR IS BECAUSE I HAVE NO CHOICE!

12 physical lockers for the registration process of my birth and only 3 executives attending. Nothing fast service.

It felt as if the Hospital was understaffed, but the staff and nurses were working hard and always cordial. They ran all test in a timely matter. All in all, I m grateful!

Anyone who goes here better pay attention to your bills carefully. They will keep on billing for something that you had paid them already. They wait for a long time and then send you a bill thinking you probably forget to pay them when in fact you already did. This happened to me so many times with many different bills that I decided to write this to warn you guys. I wasted a lot of time disputing this with my insurance company and them. Save all your receipts in case they pull a fast one.

Worst hospital in Miami, this place is basically useless. If you have an emergency, and are dieing or know anyone that is dieing, save yourself. This hospital is full of concieted little doctors, nurses, emts, and cops that only care about sitting still and looking pretty. They are too busy flirting with each other, or drinking cuban coffee, rather then saving a life. Half of the staff are from a foreign country and barely speak any English. The cafeteria is the size of a patients room with little variety, and horrible service. The staff working at the cafeteria and the cafe give you attitude and are too lazy to even put a cup for you in a cup holder. Save your time, and money. GO TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL! Your guaranteed to die here.

The attention by phone is bad. I was trying to do the maternity tour and the person was very rude. During pregnancy,this is the last thing you want to experience.

I give Kendall Regional 2 stars because the critical thinking of the nurses in surgery was horrible. The only reason why I went to that hospital is because my physician has privileges there and he is brilliant. Thanks to him, I did not collapse. I understand that nurses have many patients to take care of but you have to prioritize the acuity. It is hard to say all this because I am a nurse and I know how hard it is nowadays to do an excellent job with your patients. On the other hand, I know realize how bad nursing has gotten.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.. Do not go here..worst hospital experience.. Staff and doctors were so clueless and rude.. If you are a tourist please do not go here!! I was here for 40 hours and only saw one doctor.. My MIL tried calling the patient advocacy center and no one would return their calls.. Very unprofessional.

This is THE WORST hospital I have ever been to. I am so angry I am writing this review while still sitting in the emergency room. We are here on vacation and my 71 year old mother woke up with a high fever, excruciating headache and vomiting. From start until now this has been horrible, the wait to be seen was rediculous, nurses speaking Spanish to eachother and talking about personal lives and what happy hour they are going to attend, but worst of all my mom had to urinate because of all of the fluids they gave her and I had to help her because she was not mobile. I called the nurse 10 times, keep ringing the bell and no one came. Now we are sitting here for the past 45 minutes with her sitting in her own urine(which I've asked several people to help me with) but they keep referring me back to my nurse which is tied up with other patients. No back up nurses to help or aid in anything yet I'm sure the bill will be just as high even though I'm the one helping her with everything. DO NOT COME HERE if you are ill it will make things even worse.

Lack of personnel when moving a patient from his wheelchair to the stretcher. Parking is chaos! Here in Miami it is a common denominator that service providers called "professionals" are always discussing with the client as if they were giving them a favor. Please, we are not in Cuba!

This is one of the worst hospitals in Miami! Unfortunately, it is the closest hospital to my mother's and why she ended up there after a fall. Before I begin my list of grievances I will say that some of the staff was very nice and accommodating. Other than that, the ER staff immediately made assumptions about my mother's condition without even an x-ray to back up their "diagnosis." The semi-private room had sticky floors and smelly trash that was spilling over. And after a 24 hour stay, with only blood work and an x-ray of head and neck, my mother was sent home. We were just happy to be out of there!
One week after the fall my mother continued to have terrible back pain; a trip to her primary and an x-ray revealed that my mother sustained a compression fracture of the T9 vertebrae and is now at Baptist Hospital waiting to undergo a back procedure two weeks after the fall. My mother has suffered longer than necessary due to the incompetence of Kendall Regional Hospital. I will never recommend that hospital to anyone!!!

Caring and very professional staff. I had surgery last week and since the first time I went for registration and pre testing Dora and nurse Ale explained me what to expect and I immediately felt welcome and comfortable. The day of the surgery in pre-op nurse Diego was wonderful, an excellent professional and human being. Michael Lead Nurse also came to see if I have any complaints, concerns or any questions. Another special person was the lady at he waiting room. Unfortunately I don't recall everybody's name, but I had a great experience and I do recommend the Hospital and I congratulate his excellent and professional team. They even called me twice after surgery to see how I was doing!

I was there today , I went because of a a Torn right shoulder rotator Cuff and had a lot of pain on the right side of the chest also , The Shoulder turn into a heart issue and after almost 6 hours of just waiting without any Medications i chose to leave the Hospital, There has been no improvements to the service at Kendal Regional and it s still Concidered a Dump , Baptist Hospital Continues to Thrive as one of the Bests Hospitals in the Kendall Area...........

Certain staff members are attentive but I had a C section and was in excruciating pain and they barely helped with my pain needs. They cut and filet you... Then send you home without any pain killers. I dont understand this method but terrible experience.

On 5/1/2018 we had to go at 2:30 a.m. to this hospital because my daughter of 13 years was having acute earache, she woke up crying about how the pain didn't allow her to sleep. Dr. DIBANNI VASQUEZ was the one that saw my daughter in the pediatric emergency, and this doctor showed impoliteness and rudeness throughout the very short time that he serviced us. I personally do not mind that he took a short amount of time to help us but I do mind that during that time he expressed how it was an "exaggeration" for us to go there for "just earache" (something we heard clearly before he came in the room). I have dealt with doctors several times throughout my life and I know that the rating that a hospital receives is because of them. So when I see a doctor that does NOT consider a patient's pain (a children's doctor if I may add) as important, it shows no honor to the title he holds. A doctor is a caregiver not only in the OR but also outside of it, and hospitals should be careful when hiring doctors that don't consider how the patient feels with the importance that they should.

This place is like a zoo. You see nurses gossiping about there daily life. The nurses never came to put a diaper so the patient can pee, instead they had pee on a towel. Very ghetto hospital in my opinion.

Excellent attention from medical staff and other people in the facilities

The hospital isn't great but the cardiologist is amazing! He didn't give up on my aunt even after the rest of the doctors had. He did everything he could possibly think of to make her better and fought for her until the end when others would have given up. My grandfather was at Baptist, a great hospital, but the doctor there just gave up on him without trying to come up with any solutions. I don't love Kendall Regional in general but I would definitely suggest their cardiologist!
Lastly, we had an ICU nurse (Teresita) the first day who (although knowledgeable) had zero people skills, zero bedside manner, and was very cold but other than that, the rest of the nurses were great!

Nurse Libania was rude. When we arrive from ICU to room #436 the nurse appeared two hours later. Then I asked her for something simple as a pillow and a pitchell for her to drink water , the nurse mentioned that it was not her job. Then also, lack of education and respect; when nurse arrived to the room she was talking extremilly loud on her cell. What kind of personal is this!!!!!!

Nurses don't answer their phones, they don't check on patients. We even had a nurse say she was not a baby sitter and left. They assigned a new nurse daw her once in 4 hours..

No class whatsoever reguarding the nurses.Not all, just too many of them.The simple act of closing the door so you can sleep,they couldnt care less.Went there a year ago while on vacation when I got sick.Other patients recieving treatment screaming in pain and the wouldnt have the courtesy for the benefit of all the other patients to close the door of that room.That happened all the time.The whole floor heard everything.Its ironic because they have signs saying please be quiet.The nurses were by far the loudest with simple conversation with no reguards to how loud they are.I didnt sleep for more than an hour or two at a time due to their lack of noise controll.It made being there unbearable.I finally pulled out my iv and left!Food was good.Met some really nice people on staff.My urologists assistant was one of the most proffesional people I ever met!Angela.Wow!Doctors seemed competent.

Kendall Regional Hospital allows people to smoke in the doorways and walkways in front of the building. The hospital security staff refuses to enforce the hospital's no smoking policy because they don't want a confrontation with the smokers.

Most unorganized and unprofessional hospital. Nurses are not trained well. They couldn't even put a iv in right. Avoid if you can.

Best staff i had my baby girl here and all the nurses and doctors were amazing

I did not have positive experiences with this hospital in the past. This last Wednesday my father had a severe heart attack and we had no option but to take him to Kendall Regional because of the severity. He was attended to diligently and with great care from all the staff. The nurse that took care of him since he got there until he was transferred to ICU was Loren. I want to thank her for her dedicated service and respect that she showed and gave my dad.
All in all Drs were great too, this hospital treated and gave us s great service and personal attention

I was the only pacient at the emergency room And they took 1 hour to let me in and 2 hours more waiting in the room for a doctor.

The worst hospital to be stuck sick at. If you can avoid this place,please do it. Staff is unhappy working there,parking is a real nightmare, er doctors seem to be disconnected. Flaws are endless.

I clicked the 2nd star...but the reality is...I've never been to this hospital. I'm a Die Hard Baptist Hospital person...but my Plastic Surgeon no longer operates out of Baptist... with that said, I'm scheduled for surgery in the very near future and JUST FOUND OUT it's going to be here. I'm very worried because there seemd to be more negative feedback than positive. But I really love my Doctor and I will follow her anywhere. Wish me luck

I went to Kendall medical because I had a red spot on my leg. It was so red that I was worried so I went there and I was told to wait in another line after I was waiting for about one hour in emergency. then I waited another 2 hours before I was checked by nurse practitioner they checked my blood pressure and determined it was skin rash a bad one so they gave me a two prescription for my condition. On my way Out I checked to make sure that My insurance covered me. They said Med bill was going to be send to me after talked with Blue cross. Today I got the bill and they charged me $1,724 without any description or details of saying why I need to pay $1724 in the first place. They didn't used any IV on me no dinner was provided when i was waiting, I drove myself to facility and I have no Idea why I am paying so much compared to the work they did. If anyone from Kendall medical center is reading this then please I need to know why I need to pay $1724. Just don''t put $1724 on billing statement. Explain to me in detail Why I need to pay. Just saying charges to date minus Insurance isn't good enough. Explain why charges to date was $2457. then explain to me WhyI am recieving BC Out of South discount.

All hospital facilities very clean, the nurses were attentive
to your needs even in the middle of the night. I am happy to have had my surgery at Kendall Regional.

I live near this hospital so it's very convenient to go to it. I been to this hospital A LOT and I have more bad experiences than good. The doctors HAVE NO BED SIDE MANNERS AT ALL AND A LOT OF THE NURSES ARE EXTREMELY RUDE. I can write a book on all the horrible things THAT have happened to me and my family. I HAVE CALLED THE HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATION AND ALL THEY DO IS BRUSH YOU OFF. PLEASE, DON'T GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. I'M NOT ANYMORE!

We call this place the roach motel...patients go in but they don't check out. My father went into the ER by ambulance at 3 am due to having chest pains. A cardiologist did not come to see see him until 2pm!!! 11 HOURS AFTER A HEART ATTACK!!! And that's because we asked over and over and over...when we first asked the nurse for the cardiologist, she said they have 24 hrs to come. UNACCEPTABLE! We asked to be transferred to another hospital which was another mission. Didn't get transferred until another 8hrs later! The worst hospital in the world. And to the owner, don't bother giving your cut and paste response. I won't be calling. Talk to your staff, it needs to start from the top!

I'm in this hospital right this minute. I've been here for over 4 hours, and although they've already given me an ultrasound, drawn blood twice, and given me an influenza screening, they still haven't gotten my blood pressure, temperature, or heartrate. As a matter of fact, up until an hour ago, they didn't even have me entered into the system here, and I still don't have a wristband.

I've seen some guy that acts like he's running the show here twice, both times he drew blood, and I would have asked him some questions, but every other word out of his mouth was a curse word, so I really didn't want him talking much.

I haven't eaten in 24 hours, and every person I ask about food and if I can eat, can't seem to give me an answer. I'm so thirsty, but I can't seem to get anyone to bring me any water either. I really wish the lower keys hospital wouldn't have sent me here.

I'm going to give this hospital 4 more hours to pull their stuff together, or I'm leaving.

UPDATE:

I'm still here, just had surgery, and let me tell you, things have gotten MUCH better. Once I left the emergency room, it was like a switch flipped. I've received some excellent care from everyone involved, save one. The nurse responsible for me the first time after leaving the ER must've been having a bad day, or a chip on her shoulder, because she couldn't have cared less about coming by to see me, and when she did, she wasn't very pleasant. She had told me she was going to 'be right back' to flush my IV to keep my fluids flowing since they had stopped, but 3 hours later she hadn't been back, and ignored 2 of my calls, and 1 of the head nurse's calls. But then,

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, has been amazing, from the transport guys who drove expertly and didn't bounce me around, to my techs and nurses, the MRI staff, the CT staff, the security guards, the surgeons, even the guy I talked to that was cleaning my room have been tremendous, and I'm so happy that I was here in this hospital, even after the rough start.

I even got a visit from Carmen the RN director and Nurse leader. She was amazing, stopping by to ask me about my complaints, fixing those issues, and we even got to talk about our exercise regimens (I'm a distance cyclist, she runs marathons!). Good luck in Sweden Carmen, thanks for everything you've done. Claudia, the patient experience coordinator stopped by as well to get my thoughts, and she was so gracious. I'm glad we got to have those talks while I was here.

My surgeon is Dr. Santiago. He stopped by multiple times to tell me about the procedure on my gall bladder, made sure that I was at ease about it, and when he found out I was a guitar player introduced me to a guitarist I hadn't heard, but I'm now a fan of. He was really good at cutting me open, so much so, that he managed to work around my chest tattoo so well that there's no damage to it. That was important to me, and he nailed it. He came by after the surgery and told me how great I was while I was under anesthesia, and that meant a lot. What a genuine fellow, and all around great person.

I still haven't had any solid foods yet, so I can't really attest to the quality, but I've been by the cafeteria a few times, and it smells delicious.

I haven't seen anything that would even come close to dirty since my initial visit to the ER, and I think maybe the ER was just busy that night, and was playing catch up. It is Miami after all. My room has even been completely done every time I'm out for a procedure, and that's nice.

The staff here is quick to respond when you press the button or call, the nurse and tech even have their own number to call so you can get directly in touch with them. That's a nice touch, a lot of hospitals won't do that for you.

One last thing: I was completely unprepared for a hospital stay, with no extra clothes, not even a phone charger. Fortunately, everyone has gone above and beyond to make sure I can keep my phone charged, and that is just the icing on the cake. Thanks everyone!

This hospital is so negligent and unorganized. No one wants to take ownership of anything and they caused the death of my aunt. They're super understaffed half the people don't care or do their jobs correctly. It's more of a hospice then hospital. Whatever you do DO NOT take your loved ones here.

The doctor who is treating my nephew for a gun shot is very rude. He was asking for pain medication and was told they will get to it because they have a lot of patients. Hehas no concern for his patients well being. So sad. He didn't give his name but I will post it when we receive the paperwork.

Super professional team, in the pre-operative room I was treated all the time by a nurse named Miguel, very professional, attentive and charismatic. All the operating room staff are exemplary.
I recommend this Center to anyone who needs medical services.

My Dear friend was flown in from the Virgin islands back in March and I'm proud to say that they did what they could to accommodate her , being that she was a high risk pregnancy, and diabetic. She leaves today with her beautiful baby girl! I thank you so very much for all your staff have done!

Excellent service a first class staff that acts and takes care of you seriously, I was alone almost fainting with flu and very weak from the cough and pains in the chest and back I was attended by a nurse I do not know if Chinese or Japanese I thought it was the doctor speaks Spanish perfect and English very sympathetic and receptive series excellent professional and then came Dr Rivas and the girl that I take the samples as well as the radiology department, also their diagnostic treatment and successful treatment, I do not have insurance or social yet but just have it and I can buy my insurance this will be my selected clinic I really recommend seriousness and attention first Thanks Regional staff I am deeply grateful and blessed to have gone there goodbye bless them all !!

My wife doctor schedule surgery at Kedall regional hospital .we call for pre registration for surgery. They tell we have to go at hospital for registration they do not do registration on line or phone .we went to hospital 11. 30 am and still waiting for some call for registration they call us 1.15 pm to get our number only 4 people was ahead of us .they have 12 windows for registration but 2 people working at own time no proper customer service . Online it show they do on line registration but it's not working .I was really disappointed with customer service . If we have option for surgery I will do it at other Hospitals but not this

Brought my elderly mother in by ambulence due to breathing difficulties. 4 1/2 hrs. later was assured she would immediately be placed in a room IF she were transported to Kendall Regional. 3 hours later she's still laying on a stretcher in the hallway of the ER.
The nursing care at the urgent care was fine, but the misleading info was not appreciated.

very poor service. I was there for 4 hours. I was approached by 3 different nurses looking for different patients, I had to call an acquaintance who's daughter works there to get my blood work done, because 2 hours after getting there no one had seen me.

My brother was in the ICU A Tower he had a outstanding nurses Tatiana and dr lamb. There was one float nurse that was very good also all the others are there for the money. Not to take care of patients if you have your love one in this hospital make sure you stay by there bedside every day. The few hours I leave my dearest brother he died. I am in the medical field and we don't treat patients like that, Orlando the respiratory therapist was outstanding. He take good care of my brother. When my brother died they leave him as if he was nothing as soon as the nurse saw us coming she ran to pull the drapes. The charge nurse Sally Marquez was very rude she look at me as if I was a piece of trash.I told her she should not be in the field as a nurse . Chicota Guillermo should retire all she does is talk and disappear from her patients for hours after she got her report from the night shift nurse she never came to assess her patient that's my brother until 8:46 I told her exactly how I felt. She even said to me sometimes we just have to let them go, a nurse should give empathy she is cold hearted. She need to know her management skills. I will continue to make my reports until am satisfied. My poor brother could live longer but the nurses and doctors don't care. Be careful of this hospital

Two stars because of the trearment of some of the staff, like CNA Juliana which is so compassionate and helpful person. The cleanness of this place on pandemic times is not appropriate, the floors need to be polished, I cabn understand that is a busy place but cleanness must be FIRST. My mum stayed on a private room and the pictures you can see here are from under the room's love seat, you can be sure that this hasn't been cleaned for long time. This hospital have a very bad reputation in Miami amd it is for something. We have to call 911 for my mum and that's why we have to go there and it's a shame because is the clisest to our house.

I know the nursing staff is busy and and only deal with family via telephone during these current restrictions. But when there is blaring beeping from alarms coming over the phone and the nurse does not move away from the source there is no possible clear communication. My 91 year old mother was laying in her feces for over 2 hours. I wanted to call attention to her need for help!!! Not sure if my message got thru to the nurse at 4West.

Place sucks ER have no rooms they leave you in the hallways security is rude kicking your family out cuz younarw in the hallway so cant be there iv finish and no one replaced or closed the line the left the niddle and empty bkood tubes in the bed never ever again totaly sucks

This hospital has misdiagnosed so many people they should be charged with a felony! The have also been sued countless amount of times and it continues open. Poor defenseless people go there for proper care and treatment and wind up getting butchered. Needless and senseless treatments given and basically wrong treatments for the ailment. This place needs to be closed down. The ER is more like a slaughter house.

If I could give No stars, I would. This hospital is horrible. My mom was transferred from another hospital to Kendall Regional and had to sit in the hallway because her bed wasn't ready. They knew she was coming. The next day she was sent to do MRI and xray but never seen the doctor afterwards. They made her go ALL day without eating because she had to wait for the doctor to come by with the results. The third day of her stay still NO doctor. Then the therapist showed up with a walker and a back brace. My sister went to ask the nurse about the doctor and she said the doctor put in the notes to give my mom a walker and a back brace and basically discharge her. This hospital is horrible and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Please try to keep your love ones away from this place if you can. They don't care about the patients. They just want the money. The nurses are so rude. The communication sucks. There's no customer service at that hospital. All the nurses do is sit at the desk and talk and laugh amongst each other. When you ask them questions, they answer with an attitude or get irritated when you ask questions. There's no security on the floors. You can basically walk around on any floor and NO ONE will stop you, meaning there's no private areas there. The worst experience I've ever had at a hospital.

I ve been to a few hospitals in my life and this has to be the WORST possible. The nurse gave my husband a shot and placed the bandage under the actual shot placement. How in the world? I had to introduce myself to the security guard and on top of that, no one could help guide me to my husband after trying to find parking for almost an hour.

Do not fall for the patient portal its junk cannot access info needed and when call for support they give you the run around and when asked to speak to supervisor was told several times after being placed on hold for 20 min no one available. Hospital was good and staff very friendly. Bad review due to the fat need info for Dr visit next day and cannot get info.

Wish I had read the reviews earlier! Just picked up my elderly sick mother from this hospital after her SCHEDULED major surgery was canceled due to lack of scheduling on THEIR part. No operating room available! My elderly mother went all night & all morning fasting in preparation. Staff is completely CLUELESS & extremely rude. If you value your LIFE go somewhere else! WE ARE!!

Years ego, I used to go there with my Sister and the service it was very poor. Now I AM SO AMAZE of the FANTASTIC SERVICE that I received in my last visit. The ER in Kendall regional is awesome! One of my family member was there because of a dislocated shoulder, they took great care of him ! it was almost most midnight when we got there, and let me tell you, they took him in within less than 10 min. They took great care of him, and I m very thankful for what they ve done.

My Outpatient Surgery was the best experience ever. Had an amazing group of Doctors, Nurses and Staff! They went entirely out of their way to make it a success and a pleasurable experience under the circumstances. satisfied, you guys were the bomb! Shout out to Dr, Suzette Delgado, Dr. Pierre, Dr Marcos Valerio and those wonderful Nurses in PreOp and PostOp.

Lousy service, I have been in an emergency for more than an hour that my wife feels quite bad, is newly operated and still nothing to attend us! We are leaving, and that we are for emergency! Unprofessional staff, definitely if you plan to come consider going to another hospital

Horrible! Crowded always. it was excellent in the beginning, but always problems with the charges. Now they are worst. For second time they did not do their job properly about charging Medicaid for my bills, and now I am in collection. This time I did not have time to go after those two charges left behind. I spoke with Medicaid and they said never gotten the charges. The companies who send my bills to collection said Kendall Hospital never gave them my Medicaid information. So be careful and make sure Kendall R H is transferring all your charges to your insurance.
No confien en Kendall R Hospital. Sobretodo si tienen Medicaid. Ellos no hacen su trabajo eficientemente cuando se trata de cargar su cuenta a su seguro. No les interesa, ya me ha pasado dos veces y esta vez me descuide y esto y en collection.

this place was a nightmare. I was rushed into a c section, my doctor wasn t even the one who performed it. I wasn t even given a choice of whether i want to push or not, ultrasound said my baby would be over 9 lbs and needed a c section and my baby came out 7 lbs. lactation consultants never even came by after i requested them. Dr Marimon is the worst i will never see him again !!!!!
