Incredible, genuine and generous ownership family....

Incredible, genuine and generous ownership family. Generally fun and loose environment of mostly overachievers. Very open and friendly across all floors. We have lunch together every other Friday and have multiple celebrations (ping-pong tourney, golf tourney, costume contest) throughout the year to not take ourselves too seriously. High level of accountability and performance expected.

A lack of customer service and many sales gimmicks. West Valley Dodge location does not uphold the organizations mission statement..."To be the most esteemed automotive group in the eyes of our employees, customers, and partners." Customers? I don't think so. A salesman and some of management at this location do not respond to phone calls or text messages. Even when they promised to do so. Customer service model is extremely disappointing. Will a "sorry" response to this post really fix the customer service issues and sales gimmicks at your West Valley Dodge location? Corporate should look into it.

I was contacted by David C and he was great at first then when I gave my situation he said he would look to see what cars would work and of course like usual I have never heard from him again. It seems like more and more these days dealerships are hard to work with when you have a situation your working with.

Given the small amount of bad reviews comparatively to the amount of customers Ken Garff helps should be a sign of how awesome their dealerships are. Keep it up Ken Garff!!!

Let's face it; this is a huge enterprise with very little time for each individual customer. I have to chuckle every time I see or hear their current advertising motto: "We're listening." I think corporate makes an attempt to assist, but each individual dealership seems to be independent in many ways. I hope not all Garrf dealerships stretch ethics as much as the Ford dealership in American Fork. That particular dealership has not "listened" very much since my purchase there.

I wanted to give my experience with Ken Garff Ford. West Valley. my truck was in getting repaired last June 2019. while it was in there shop somebody broke in to the shop and stole my truck right out of there shop. it went for a high speed chase and wound up being wrecked. Ken Garff didn't even call me on the next business day to tell me. it was the police that told me. at first they we not going to take any responsibility because they had a 10K deductible.
I am not happy with them for customer service. at any level. I work for Arnold Machinery. not happy with the out come.
real disappointed with there entire company for not stepping up. if i could any less stars i would.

Purchased a 2018 renegade and traded in my 2012 wrangler. Husband and I thought all was well. Got a call 5 days later saying that the bank did not approve the financing and we would need to come back in and sign a new contract. Husband and I got red flags. We read some reviews and decided to cancel the buy which is within our rights. Please note that we never received a finalized contract as we were waiting for the financing to be approved. We were told it would arrive in the mail within a few days. It never did and that is when we got the call.

We came back the very next day to cancel the transaction and get the trade in back. We were told it wasn t on site and was getting work done to it. We would have to come back tomorrow.

The next day I called and had to leave several messages to get any information. Finally, Kenny Young, called me back and said they had sold my trade in. When I asked how he was able to do this he said that he bought the car and owned it, regardless that we do not have a contract on the new car and the financing didn t go through.

Please note that he was very rude and raised his voice many times. Very condescending. He told me to contact my attorney and stop bothering his employees.

What s interesting is we still show our old loan as active with our bank and we even have a payment due in a few weeks. We are contacting our lawyer and the Garff corporate office to file a complaint.

on November 13 2019 we had visited Ken Garff used car of Orem and found a 2017 ram that we liked and paid cash for it total of $31,000 we were happy with it until we wanted the tags and title. witch at this time had been 3 weeks so we decide to go down to Ken Garff to find out what the holed up was and at this time they had not even process the paper work what is the deal with? and now they say it will be another 1 to 2 weeks to get the tags and than they said I have to take the paper work to the DMV to get the title what is this? if I had financed the ram i Had the tags already.
so what is going on? This car dealership as poor management the people at the front desk are offensively impolite or ill-mannered ( Ashley ) so this is how they treat cash paying customers I wood not buy another car or truck from Ken Garff!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had financing approved with Ken Garff Downtown for a vehicle at Ken Garff Volkswagen dealership in Orem. The VW Sales Manager, Cory Fenton agreed to let me purchase the car after waiting 24hrs if it hadn't sold by 6pm from his lot. Then I was told I had to wait an additional 24 hrs to see if it sales. NOW I've been told by the VW General Sales Manager, Scott Cobb that I have wait yet another 24hrs to see if they sell it by 6pm on 4/22/20. I've been strung along with invested emotions. Why wasn't I told that I wouldn't be allowed to purchase the vehicle from the beginning and that they didn't want to release it from their lot. Leads me to wonder if there are any discriminatory factors involved. I believe this is a terrible way to do business as we are all suffering during this pandemic.

As I was driving on I15 one of the express parts driver was driving in front of me. He kept swerving and fluctuating speed from 10 under to 10 over. I noticed his head was never looking straight ahead so I pulled up next to him. Of course, HE WAS STARING AT HIS PHONE. OVER 25 MILES HE DIDN'T LOOK UP ONCE!!!! He pushed several cars out of their lanes and was a danger to anyone near him. I tried reaching out multiple times via phone and chat to Ken Garff but no one seemed to care about this. Bought the Advantage Care Package Texan Ram. My fault, I thought they would check the air filter, it was dirty, have photo. Thought the would check the coolant and top off, my fault I was wrong coolant was not topped off, have photo. Pappa used to say, "you get what you pay for", not a savings. The reply should reflect this is my fault. Just checked my invoice from Texan, it states "fluids topped off". It also says "lubricate chassis", please show me the lubrication points. Unsure why this company has good reviews, but please do not buy a vehicle from this place. As a hardworking single mother I wanted to buy a reliable, nice, and spacious vehicle for my children and I. I was sold this "brand new" vehicle at a "great price". I wish I would have done a little further research because the vehicle they sold me would have been valued almost $10,000 less! So unethical and inconsiderate. With that being said with an expensive purchase, you assume to get the best service to your new vehicle. I have a "brand new" car with no trunk button, no floor mats, fluid lights already coming on, stickers they never removed, no upgrades to anything, and the engine sounds horrible! This is the best part of the entire purchase.... This "brand new" car that I purchased for wayyyy too much money was actually previously leased by someone else! No worries they left a pink slip in the vehicle with all of her information. So before you think about buying a vehicle... If you would like to be lied to, sit for hours ( a tactic to get you so tired you just sign papers), and end up with an awful mediocre vehicle that you pay a ridiculous amount for... Then I would reccomend. Otherwise PLEASE go somewhere else! Trust me! I'm not a car salesman!

After several complaints my "engine malfunction" light came on. I am getting less than 15 miles to the gallon, and had a rental car for two weeks. Just picked up my vehicle and it still runs horribly. Absolutely terrified to be driving this.
Please, purchase ANYWHERE ELSE.

I wish I could give zero stars. Let me tell you about my experience with Northwest Chrysler Dodge Jeep in Houston, Texas- a Ken Garff Automotive Group dealership. They sold me a car that has NO title. I paid cash (check) in full for a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia in January 2020. They told me at purchase there were no issues/liens with the title - BTW, I had asked them about this specifically, and they assured me there were no issues and no liens. It is now August 2020 almost SEVEN months later- and I still have not received my plates or title. So, the car I bought at NW Dodge with cash paid in full cannot be legally registered to drive in Texas.

There is more. The car started sending out warning messages, so I took it to a dealer closer to my home for evaluation. The Alfa dealer informed me the car had previously been involved in a MAJOR collision - this information was never disclosed to me (NW Chrysler claims they had no knowledge of any previous collision or damages is that even possible despite their extensive trade-in intake /check-in process??). In any case, the previous repairs resulted in water leaking in and corroding the wiring harness/electrical system. I have been told it will require over $7100 to repair the car (replace the entire wiring harness). The car sat in the repair shop since June 8th, awaiting $7100 worth of electrical repairs.

As of August 5th, 2020, I have no plates, no title, and the temporary tags have expired months ago. The car cannot be registered/driven legally, and I cannot sell it in its current condition, since it has NO TITLE.

I have called Northwest Chrysler Dodge Jeep too many times to count since January, trying to find out where my plates and title were, but I was never, ever given a straight answer. I still to this day do not know where the title is!! The motto for NW Chrysler, a part of the Ken Garff Automotive Group, is We Hear You haha, really?? Who are you kidding?

I have reported this situation to the Texas DMV. There is currently an ongoing DMV investigation of this dealer. Texas law requires all dealers to transfer title to buyer within 30 days of purchase. It has been almost 200 days, and still I have no title. But of course they still have my money.

When you go to a dealer licensed by the State to sell cars, you expect that they will follow the laws and statutes imposed by the State to protect us, the customer. You would never expect that they would try to leave you holding a car without a title, one that cannot be legally registered to drive. Just remember this before buying your next car.

I can only speak for my situation, but I feel that this business has shown absolutely no consideration for all of the time, trouble and expense I have wasted throughout this incredible mess. Their failure to communicate openly with me for months about the title problem, in my opinion, shows absolutely ZERO concern for me as a customer. Seven months later, I still have not received what I would consider an acceptable resolution to this situation. My only recourse it appears, is to now file a lawsuit for damages. What a company!!

I'm disappointed I worked for this dealership for years when Mr Garff was around and his philosophy was customer service and taking care of the employees. I'm not sure if they are just too worried about filling their own pockets these days but I am sure Ken is turning in his grave by what he built and how it has changed. Hire some GM'S that know how to take care of a customer and Service managers especially in the Riverdale location that actually care about their employees. Mr Garff would of never put up with this .

I now have my "new car" in the maintenance shop because it stopped working. This is about the 4th time I have had to arrange child care, time off work, and have already had my car towed in twice. Imagine being the only financial provider and paying a lot of money for a "brand new" car, to then have to constantly worry about the safety of you and your children.
Due to the nature of my career I know a lot of people and will make sure they go anywhere else. I will not stop talking about your unethical behaviors until someone actually looks into this and provides me with an ethical solution.

I have gotten to know the service department very well. My car still runs awful and is the most expensive piece of garbage on the planet! I will say, your service techs need to be paid more! Just had my vehicle serviced yet again. I picked it up and it still drives horribly. They fixed a "coil" when this is 100% a transmission issue. I thought I would keep you all updated in the event this vehicle is responsible for my death, you know where to investigate. Also, so those of you looking for a vehicle understand what I have been through in 1 year! Please, I am urging you to NEVER purchase from Ken Garff.

After having my car serviced SURPRISE! I have marks ALL OVER my rims as if they completely destroyed them and then received a paper that I needed "ALL NEW TIRES"

I was a loyal customer of SLC Ken Garff for almost 5 years. When I sold them my car back when I upgraded, they played games with me for MONTHS regarding paying me. Telling me they were waiting on my title, then after they HAD my title, they pretended my finance company owed me, not them. Over a period of almost 3 months I spent hours on the phone, leaving messages for both the salesman Josh who bought my car back, and managers, all who blew me off. When I refused to wait for a call back after being blown off 4 times in one day, I was again told that I needed to contact my finance company. I'm CURRENTLY on hold and who knows how it will pan out.

This is how Ken Garff treats a customer of 5 years. So, if you want your car stolen from you, consider going to Ken Garff Nissan of SLC. Otherwise, I'd consider literally going anywhere else.

Ken Garff West Valley Jeep: Two oil changes ago, the technician cross-threaded the oil filter and when I came back in they supposedly fixed it. It still leaked. The following oil change, I asked them to look at everything to find out why it is still leaking. I was told they couldn't find a leak. Still leaking. I have to top off the oil monthly as well as continually clean an oil stain on the floor of my garage. No issues prior to this with ANY leaks or having to top off. EXTREMELY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED. CONTINUALLY TRIED TO CALL IN TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER AND WAS ONLY ABLE TO LEAVE MESSAGES BECAUSE THE MANAGER WAS NEVER IN. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A RETURN CALL.
