JW Marriott at Lenox Review

GPS led straight to the door and the parking was no issue, I never got my room key to work for the parking deck but getting in and out was very easy. Visited the connected mall as well as hotel gym and pool. We we're mistakenly put in a room that wasn't ready and all of the staff commented on our patience and understanding, but it really did not feel like a long wait until everything was figured out. My son also enjoyed the Christmas decorations,hidden elves, and lots of the lights on the third floor.

The hotel is very tastefully decorated and pleasant to spend time at. Staff at the front desk are professional, helpful and kind. Rooms are adequately sized and beds are comfortable. Hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Gold Line train (Marta) which you can ride from the airport to the hotel for only $2.50. Event catering is excellent. Food is excellent, better quality than pub food. Starbucks on site is very handy.

Great cupcakes and foodstuffs. A little hard to find where I was supposed to be and the trash situation was odd.

Kick off your shoes and relax your feet. Parrrtttyyy.

The JW Marriott Signature is more than just a name it s a level of excellence.
My two sons and I love this hotel; it is our favorite 5 star hotel in America.
This is the only hotel, were you don t have to pack a suitcase.
Because the JW Marriott of Atlanta is next door to Lenox Square Mall in Buckhead.
This state of the arts hotel has complimentary toiletries and tooth brushes.
We always get new pajamas and slippers at Macy s to wear to sleep.
And we always get one or two outfits to wear from Macy s the next day.
My two son s also get a pair of shoes from Nike store or Footlocker.
(no suitcase required)
The concierge services have the best snack and drinks in the evenings.
Most of all the room service is 24 hours, and the indoor pool is always clean.
The JW Marriott signature of excellence, has always provided me with the best king suites.
I don t even; have to wear socks to use the bathroom because my hotel suite is always spotless.

I had my senior prom at this location and it was all that I expected and more. The staff was very helpful with assisting all the students with whatever questions that had and they didn't do it in a belittling or condescending manner. The ballroom that our event was held in went beyond my expectations and the staff made sure that it looked that way. I would recommend this location for any special event because it's worth it!

Connected to an entrance way to a fabulous. I love Marriott branded hotels anyway so the mall was an extra bonus.

Better spread in the lounge than other nearby options. Rooms have small windows and older furnishings.

I call in to get my folio (which I never got, and which I need to expense my stay). I ask politely for it to be sent. Laquita answers the phone and says she'll send it. I wait 15 minutes. No email. I call back. She repeats the same thing over, with attitude, and basically refuses to help me. "Someone will send it when they are available. I can't tell you when that is." Same answer, over and over. It's not like they're that busy- or she couldn't have picked up my call immediately twice in a row. It's not like sending an email takes more than 2 minutes.

I am VERY disappointed at the customer service I recieved when I called about them charging two of my credit cards the same amount for my one night stay! The front desk didn't cancel the card I used on file to reserve the room with the card I gave her when I checked in, therefore they charged me twice for 1 night stay. They told me that they would not release the hold on one of the accounts for 7 days. I'm HIGHLY upset. I talked to two clerks and they told me a manager will be calling me right back. It's been 4 hours, I don't think they plan to call back. 1 star for that.

Attended a wonderful, very empowering In The Black event at this venue hosted by Odyssey Media. Very classy. Had a wonderful time and appreciated the opportunity to network with some really phenomenal women.

Definitely loved it here! Polite staff, excellent customer service, rooms kept clean and updated, etc. It's very clean and valet is awesome. The valet basically runs to your car no matter how many cars is in front of the hotel.

Convention location, friendly, professional staff. Only complaint is the pillows and temperature control in the rooms.

This is a SHINNING STAR AMONG MY TRAVEL EXPERIENCES! This Marriott was beautiful, and the staff was helpful beyond words. Tyrrell and Kirston made my stay even brighter, a mist the current state of our country it was as if nothing had changed the service was impeccable. I look forward to making this my home away from home when visiting Atlanta!!!

A friend and I stayed at the JW Marriott in Buckhead Atlanta for a couple nights during 2017 News Years. Let me say I felt discriminated against because of my sexuality. The Hotel Staff were rude, very argumentative. They lied and told us we would have a room with two beds, a view, breakfast... etc, they gave us a small room which was filthy! The only person we liked was the chef, Jennifer, she is the nicest staff personal the hotel had. They need to fire every front desk manager and hire people who actually care about their guest. Do not go to this hotel, only if you are desperate, go to the Ritz or another hotel in the area!

Needs to be updated- renovated- I guess they are starting to..with the lobby at least. It all just feels very old decor, lighting etc...also whats with IMPOSSIBLE entrance?? I drove around for like 20 mins in circles trying to figure out how to get to the parking deck. But over all, yes my hotel stay was ovrerall a pleasant experience and my needs were met.l

The jacuzzi smells like Pee. I believe my boyfriend and I were bit my bedbugs. I paid for 3 nights here and could not sleep due to the loud construction that was never once mentioned to me and the manager is not willing to accommodate to me in any way. A random junkie was seen peeing on the carpet on the second floor near the lobby it s just very ghetto. Try the Westin across the street.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I booked the Lenox Suite for one night. After booking, I called to see if I could come take a look at the room and was told to come anytime after 2pm. I arrived at 2:45 and was told the room would not be ready until 4. The woman (wearing a scarf draped around her head and shoulders) was extremely rude and condescending from the moment I walked through the door.

Fast forward to check-in. I attempted to leave my car out front (valet) to unload my belongings. It would only take 10mins or so and I'd come back to self-park. The valet attendant gave me the hardest time and was rushing me to unload my car as if he didn't even care to accommodate me. When I came back to move it, one of the employees out front realized I was there to celebrate a special occasion and proceeded to ask if there would be alcoholic beverages and asked if I'd share.

Fast forward to the next day. I called the front desk to authorize someone to grab an extra key and I encountered the nastiest employee I have ever witnessed. After about 30 seconds of conversation, she states "you sound like you have an attitude, which...i don't know why. So what I am going to do is...get someone else to help you because I don't have time for this." The woman placed me on hold and never returned.

By this point, I was DONE. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff here is such a joke. My suite was ok. It served its purpose.

Nice fountain outside which is also a pokegym. You don't get many weird looks parking here and playing for a few minutes. Pretty swanky place.

Beautiful place, beautiful hospitality. My family and I will return soon.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast at the club was not very exciting if you did not eat pork...Did not u use the fitness room or pool...so can't say anything about that. Loved that it is next to a mall.

When I arrived the room smelled weird, but at that moment I didn t care. I was happy to be here in ATL for the New Year. The problem began when we arrived back to the room at 2 am, our things were scattered all over the room (cards, makeup, clothes, flat irons plugged into the wall). There was even urine in the toilet that was not done by us.

We immediately called guest services and the lady came up here to write down our complaint on a note pad, which felt unimportant. She told us there weren t any cameras in the hall and that someone would conduct a lock interrogation and they would let us know when they were done. They never got back to us.

In fact, I felt as if they took it as a joke because it was New Years night. It was a terrible experience and I feel as if they should have taken if more serious and at least looked at the cameras, because I know they have them.

Valet was closed for the evening and self park deck very confusing.

Only delivered food but staff was great and hotel seemed comfortable. Easy in and out.

Room was immaculate, service was good, with the exception of some of our room service food order, and the lounge/bar area was a little awkward.

It s 2:45 - I arrived an hour ago for business meetings - need to change from my travel cloths - rooms are not ready, for the cost if the rooms and having a reservation I don t think it s an unreasonable expectation to have a room by this time.

I recommend they hire more housekeeping staff.

The JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead offers top-tier level facilities and amenities that the Marriott brand is well-known for. The staff from the beginning to the end of the stay were exceptionally polite and amicable. The customer service in which we received while staying at the JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead was undeniably the best we've ever experienced.

The room is nice but the doors shut very loudly. The exercise room is well equipped.

Not the JW Marriott level I'm used to. Rooms are small, smelled like a 2 star, and service staff lacked professionalism. The indoor pool/gym are great, and we'll kept. Parking is $32 for self. Probably pick somewhere else in Buckhead.

It was a fun clean hotel. The only negative was there was no fridge in the room and I could hear the room next door. Great location and friendly staff.

Really enjoyed my leisure visit to the bar. I cancelled two separate hotel reservations here due to that SuperBowl debacle they created. Nope, won't stay here, but if in the area will pop in for a beverage and light bite.

Attended a social event for work. The buffet was better than expected with a great Caeser salad bar and lobster bisque station. The dessert station could have used an update. The ballroom itself was what you would expect. The oversized chandeliers we're a nice touch.

Great venue for the business event I attended. Excellent food and service.

The rooms are large, the bathroom is fantastic, the services are awesome. Asked the front desk for a lot and they was on point with fast services. The valley was a little expensive but that's to be expected. Beautiful view of the city in the room. The mall is connected to the hotel which is wonderful for people who love to shop. Overall experience was incrediable and we would stay here again.

It was for prom and it was great! Everything was clean and great.

The service was great; parking attendant and concierge were quick and helpful. Location was very convenient for dinner and shopping. Room was clean and comfortable.

Very nice rooms in a nice area. They had food for us after the peachtree road race which was nice. Lots of restaurants close by and its connected to the mall.

Everything was extremely clean! I almost walked through the shower door several times because you could see right through it.

Beautiful hotel situated in the soul of Atlanta; Buckhead. Allows you easy access to restaurants, shopping stripes, lounges etc. Public transportation is also easily accessible to the city and airport.

Comfort bed but annoying pillows. Large bathroom. Good breakfast. Great location. Smiley and friendly staff.
