JW Marriott at Lenox Review

Great location. The city view rooms have an amazing view of downtown.

Awesome!! Since I love shopping at Phipps Plaza and Lenox Mall this is the perfect location for a stay rooms are always very clean and the service was simply perfect.

This is my second time staying here and due to the proximity to my office, will always be my preferred hotel when I visit Atlanta. Having said that I feel I got lucky that it is a wonderful hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. They have a nice atmosphere, pleasant rooms, and is very convenient to MARTA. Also being attached to the mall has it benefits if you need anything, want to hit the food court, or just want to walk around indoors.

The hotel greets guests with smiles and professionalism. Decor of the lobby is truly remarkable. Rooms are clean with pleasant views.

Normally I would try to find something unhappy to say but the staff at the JW Marriott we're absolutely amazing I have no complaints and I would recommend it to my in-laws.

Access doors don't work. Ice machines don't work. In room service food is terrible. Someone needs to fix this Marriott as all others don't even come close to accommodations others have. Very disappointed.

Great staff and location, lobby was excellent. The room felt a little dated. Smelled a little funny.

Very professional staff. Only downside is it's really hard to get a cup of coffee in the middle of the day for less than $5.

I loved it. It had a nice pool, gym, and staff is very kind also a mall is connected so it takes less than a minute to arrive.

Attended 4 day a conference here and found it to be a well organized event. The hotel staff were visible and accommodating. The manager on duty was TERRIFIC! He went out of his way to make sure everything was in proper working order and the staff worked well for him. I will recommend JW for all future events!

This property is really nice. I can say the room was very nice and clean. The staff really did an amazing job by making sure they were friendly and really showering my guest the entire time we stayed. I would definitely come again to this property.

We decided to stay for our anniversary weekend. The front desk is AMAZING! Shout out to Eric at the FD for hooking us up after checking in. So professional and welcoming. Still checked in and, I must say, the entire experience has been great! If you eat at the bar, I highly recommend the Caesar salad with the king salmon. Avoid the beet salad if you don't care for big chunks of beets.

Shout out to bartender Lisa for taking excellent care of us! The buffet breakfast was delicious!

Incredible customer service by the whole hotel. I had my moms 65th Birthday celebration here. We stayed the weekend. Rory at the hotel completely took care of our entire family, including a surprise cake for my mom in the room. When my mom realized what was going on, she started to get tears in her eyes. Rory - you are awesome and our entire family (we travel a lot due to work) is loyal Marriott due to service like Rory provided to us on personal vacation. It truly justifies our commitment to your brand.

Canceled my reservation an hour before check in due to unforeseen plumbing problems

Amazing find connected to the Lenox Mall. This is a very nice hotel, great for people who have college-aged kids in the area who need a place to coordinate helping them stock their dorms. Updating this review to reflect a positive experience on a return visit

This hotel is beautiful but expensive. Only stayed for a few hours but I'm glad I did. Worth the expense and will stay a night next time.

I attended a New Year's Eve party at this hotel. The venue was very classy and nice, however... There were a few issues. There were no attendants in the ladies restroom so it got pretty filthy and pretty crazy as far as lines, etc. The valet service was a disaster. It was taking people an hour or two to get their vehicles when trying to leave. My friends ended up just going to get our car, despite paying for valet service.

Great nights sleep! Very comfortable beds and pillows. Much needed after walking at the expo. One of the better hotel gyms you'll find with a sauna, pelaton bikes, and other great features. The pool is fantastic and kept very clean. The team here is extremely hospitable and smiling. After a long day it was nice to stay here and I could fully relax. I would consider staying at a J.W. again because of the wonderful experience I received here.

Avoid this hotel if you don t like smelly humid rooms. Rooms smell terrible and old. The rooms are also super dated. Reminds me of the early 2000s. Staff was super nice. That was the silver lining of the stay. There isn t much they could do, obviously.

Had to personal train a couple of clients from LA and Dubai

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and ready to help. Make sure to bring your checkbook though. WiFi is only available for around $15/day which is pretty expensive.

Had a date night in the city and everyone was so great! From check-in to checkout when we lost our parking ticket they took care of us. Our room was next to s room of teenage kids and after 11 they were still laughing and yelling...1 call to the front desk and they moved our room without any questions asked. We appreciated everyone and will be back!

JW Marriott Buckhead is conveniently located next to the Lenox Mall. My family loves staying here for weekend shopping trips. The staff is excellent and the concierge lounge is also fantastic! I would highly recommended staying here while in Atlanta.

Loved working with so many familiar faces and pleasant new additions in the banquet staff. New Decor very impressive! Looking forward to our next time.

This is a very nice hotel. You pay for the premium quality. But definitely worth it.

Stayed here this past weekend. All staff were really nice and attentive. However, the room was a 2 on a scale of 1-10. There were outlets without covers & exposed wires in the bathroom and sleeping area room. When we first arrived the HVAC system wasn t cooling properly in the sleeping area or bathroom. It cooled properly in the sleeping area once I turned it off and back on. It never cooled the bathroom, the exhausted fan also didn t work.
Imagine how hot the bathroom was while showering.. the room also smelled like marijuana. For $250 a night they have to do better than this.

Hotel rooms are OK, but the service is frustratingly terrible. You have to call down multiple times to get your room service order.

I wasn't impressed with this JW Marriott at all. JW is supposed to be the higher end of "Marriotts" and this location is a total disappointment.

The room is outdated (bathroom, furniture) and smelled weird. We were in a corner room - literally one step away from another room. Too close for comfort. The toilet handle came off when we attempted to flush the toilet.

Security/Loss Prevention are absolutely unhelpful and clueless. Guest Services are unprofessional.

The Manager was suppose to pay a visit to our room and never arrived.

Marriott should consider making this one of the lower star hotels because this location is a disgrace to other 4-star JW locations.

I would not recommend this hotel if you're looking for the "JW Experience" - it's nonexistent at this location.

Excellently beautiful place to stay. Connected to the Lennox mall.

It's nice that it's close to Marta and connected to the mall but the layout of the corner rooms is weird, it looks and feels old, and the fitness center appears to have been an afterthought. That being said, the staff are great.

Went for another ball...this place is always elegant!

HORRIBLE!!! CONSTRUCTION is obnoxious!! Never been woken up to such loud noises. We're on the 5th floor. We were on the 24th floor the first 2 nights and it was great. Front desk didn't do a thing. And valet is NOT 24 hrs. Horrible.

Great hotel, very comfortable and located close to office buildings like Salesforce Tower as well as night life and restaurants.

The JW is a good hotel with good location and proximity to facilities. The mall is connected to the hotel, and marta is across the street. The rooms are good size with decent ambience. You can tell that the hotel is aged and in need of renovation. Actually renovation was going on and it was noisy especially during afternoon. Staff is friendly and helpful though we found two construction guys in our room with a hotel employee when we returned to the room one day!
I can say it s good value for what you are paying if you re looking for a nice hotel in Buckhead.

Beautiful rooms. Great helpful staff. Super comfortable and accommodating. Most of all CLEAN. Great room service food. They have a Starbucks inside for your earrly morning coffee pleasures. If you're a lady with a lot of luggage, the concierge are super helpful. A MAJOR mall comes with this hotel TOO
