When we got out of the car we were greeted with the words "nice to have you here again" and at the reception with a name (which you did not mention beforehand!) And congratulations on the wedding day. Deeply impressed and touched, we were accompanied to our room, where a nice attention and a welcome card from the von Kretschmann family awaited us.
At dinner, the waiter remembered exactly the wine we had at the wedding and another lady remembered planning our wedding.
In this house, the motto "We love what we do" really matters and you can feel it at every corner.

It was a very comfortable stay.
There is a bathtub in the bathroom and the room is bright and clean. Amenity consisted of shampoo, body milk and cotton swabs. The cleaning came to check if there was any trash in the evening, I just arrived, there was a jet lag, I was surprised because I was a bit sleepy, but it is a good memory

Everything from composition and decoration over food, drinks and service to the wedding cake was wonderful - even more beautiful than we had dreamed. The guests were thrilled, including the attentive, unobtrusive service. The suite was perfect too - spacious, very clean, a very comfortable bed and a delicious, extensive breakfast buffet. The spa area with pool is very nice and relaxing. We are thrilled and happy to come back!

Great hotel in Heidelberg! Superb breakfast, very comfortable rooms, lobby bar with live piano and tasty food. Very friendly personnel, spa is also great.
The good: beautiful historic building. Wonderful staff and huge, beautiful rooms.
The bad: HVAC issues. The first room we were allocated was gorgeous, but must have been at least 25c. No problems we thought - turn down the thermostat and wait for it to cool. After about 4 hours of sweating we called the front desk only to learn the A/C is non-functional due to the time of year . Regardless of the time of year, the room was way too hot to spend any length of time in - let alone try to sleep. The staff were very good and quickly moved us to another room which was slightly cooler, but still no working A/C. We were forced to sleep with the windows wide open which lead to a couple of bad nights sleep due to drunken people on the street outside etc. Don t expect this in a 5* hotel... wouldn t even expect this in a $60/night roadside motel that advertises it has A/C.

Eaten for the evening with family and friends: great! Dishes were different than what you're used to, and the waiter was very friendly and gave good recommendations - for both dishes and wine.

Staff at the food was very friendly. Room and bathroom not 5 star standard. Muffige Luft, all getting old ... "faded Glory". At 10.30 the power was turned off! In this respect, I hope that a better place will be chosen for the next major event of the family!
This hotel has earned every single star. Beside the usual things like cleanliness etc. etc. etc. the positive charisma of the staff, which is consistently cheerful and friendly (no "patched friendliness" !!!) is on the way, compared to other hotels. And the absolute blast is the breakfast buffet !!! If you do not find everything your heart desires for breakfast, it is not of this world! I would love to come back. Best regards to Heidelberg

Got stuck in the elevator immediately after arriving, the bar doesn't understand its trade, the TV in the room was not functional and, last but not least, a smell came from the shower that indicated nothing good. All in all, a negative experience that I won't soon forget.
Outstanding hotel on all fronts - excellent service and wonderful facilities
I used it for free because of the Lufthansa flight delay. It is a double room size and it is very convenient to use the toilet and the service was very satisfactory. Breakfast was also excellent, with salmon, shrimp cocktails, delicious fresh bread, a variety of yogurt and German sausages. Celebrities and celebrities also come and take pictures and are proud to be a hotel :)
Everything about this hotel was really good. Especially the staff is beyond friendly and happy to help with anything you might ask for. The spa is quite small and during Corona you have to book time slots, with the positive effect that you have the place for 1,5 hours on your own. Unfortunately one of the two restaurants was closed during our stay. But the one restaurant left was still very good and had a great wine selection. The only downside was that they charged the parking lot, which was, compared to the price a bitter taste at the end. Though all in all I can still recommend this hotel.

If the European Court were not by far the best hotel in Heidelberg, my husband and I would not have declared this home as our favorite hostel. For fifty years we have been living here on a regular basis and on feast days, and there has never been a valid reason to complain. The management and all employees of the house are well trained and of a pleasant friendliness and helpfulness. We are so glad that there is this oasis of good taste. Do not like the room, you get without hesitation (if available) offered a different room. This corresponds to the good spirit of this house.
If your destination Heidelberg I recommend this wonderful hotel, the hotel restaurant provide the seasonal traditional dinner which will give you a great taste!
For muslims the hotel provide rooms with toilet has shattaf water!!

Our room seemed like a time travel in the 70s, the furniture was extremely worn, had several flaws and was not up-to-date anymore. On request they said, our room was not renovated. In my opinion, this kind of room for the price should not be rented. The stay was definitely not 5 star worthy. Only positive was the really great breakfast. We will definitely not come back.
A historical place: Rooms with high ceiling, Spa and warm swimming pool.....It is very old but maintained very well.

The hotel is in a great location in the middle of Heidelberg with a view of the castle and mountains. After a relaxed check-in we went to the room, which was classically, i.e. 5-star, furnished.
My room wasn't renovated yet, but I wouldn't have noticed it. I really want to highlight the bed. I slept fantastic in there.
Breakfast was ok. Breakfast buffet remains breakfast buffet, but the scrambled eggs were then again 5-star.
The terrace that adjoins the spa area should be seen. Great view and real peace, despite the location in the middle of the city.

Tasteful. Opposite of modern. But that is a matter of taste. Breakfast very varied, scrambled eggs in the hotel without "live cooking", staff very polite and courteous. Edit: and extremely attentive! Meeting area competent, friendly, reliable. Limited Wi-Fi included, in the conference area also fast. Price the stars appropriate. Good conference hotel.

We were with 6 people in the evening for dinner in the summer restaurant in the courtyard for a family celebration. The due to us first shift of the date and then in the short term the time of the reservation was uncomplicated and friendly translated. The food was excellent from the taste, the quantity and the time sequence of the courses. Very friendly and competent service. Overall, a great experience. Due to the prices nothing for regular - but perfect for the special occasion!
The only downside: Seat cushions we got only on request, but then promptly and the tablecloth was (outside under trees) not completely clean and was not changed. But it was also very busy that evening.
We will be back.

Aside from it s stunning interior and surroundings, the rooms are highly equipped, clean, spacious, and up to the standard of 5* luxury. Beds equipped remote controls, toilet and shower area (with two sinks) separate, featuring posh furniture and great windows. Room service always fast and excellent, providing me with a tea kettle and bags upon request. Restaurant has incredibly food, with knowledgeable waiters and excellent cooks. Breakfast buffet has literally everything, and if it doesn t, 99% of the time if you ask the staff will fulfill your dietary request.
The spa facility is great. Rooftop pool, saunas, and a terrace with outdoor shower. Amenities are all modern and clean, and the spa procedures are magnificent and definitely worth it. I had a facial and my specialist was not only competent, but left me with a plethora of information I still use today to care for my skin.
I cannot speak more highly of the staff and quality of customer service. Owners of the hotel are around and casually greet guests and engage in conversation, and every staff member was always making sure we not only had everything we needed, but even arrange for things they didn t have upon special request. They really go the extra mile here, this hotel is the epitome of a luxury, moneys-worth experience, one of the best stays we ve ever had!
