Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Review

High standards and expectations were not met. If you read the other reviews, you think you end up in the service paradise. This was unfortunately not our case, smelly room (although the problem was known, we got one, the same evening at our urgent swapped.) The service in most of the restaurants and especially the pool was rather third class and the staff often badly trained In the club area of the villas, the tables and chairs are already very weathered and not very handsome.The hotel may seem impressive at first glance, but leaves aftertaste after the departure.We were then in the evening always in the one and only order eat the corner, the service there is better by classes, unfortunately we can not agree with the other good reviews and will not be back.

Unethical establishment that does not honour the terms of contract!

They advertise free shuttles, but do NOT run the shuttle, then tell you to take a taxi which they will reimburse you for, but neverever do so.

The short tiny little Indian duty manager Abduraheem is blatantly rude, and hostile to guests, and does not care about problems encountered by guests, he does not resolve grievances taken to him, but instead blames the guests. He needs to be fired as he does not know what management entails, he is a suffering from short man syndrome, therefore is on a begrudgeful power trip.

The ambience is too good and the reception is awesome. Food is also too good quality and taste as well.

Luxury Superb. Lovely staff Great facilities, especially the spa and the variety of restaurants and food. Amazing views from the pool. Location is a little bit far out if you are intending on exploring Dubai, being at the end of the Palm Crescent, although there is a shuttle bus to both Wild Wadi and Mall of the Emirates. The room was lovely, large and very clean with all the usual amenities ... and the bathroom, a marble extravaganza.

All of the staff are extremely welcoming and did alot from birthday without being asked I strongly recommend it it's all quite in most areas so older people can relax all in all it was an amazing experience the will not forget

The staff are very kind, the whole place is clean, like, polished clean. The room services work 24/7 and most restaursnts are open until midnight. Some rooms are interconnected and may be opened to the nearby room if you booked two rooms that are together for easier access. Even if there is 3 or 4 people in one room, you can always order for an extra bed at your disposal.

I stayed at the imperial suite, service was impeccable and staff were very nice. Their spa is one of the best I have ever been to

Overall we had a pleasant 10 night stay at the ZS. In general it is what you would expect from a fairly high end 5* middle eastern hotel.

What we liked:
- Rooms to a generally very good standard - large and well equipped
- The half board offer is good value and is worth about 200AED/40GBP per person per day. The onsite restaurants are all of good quality and variety (plus you can use other brand hotels) - we never felt like we were captive to the vouchers
- Good pool

What we felt could have been better elsewhere for similar money:
- Was more family orientated than I expected - meaning lots of small children running around the pool and screaming in the restaurants. I would have preferred it more peaceful
- Availability of sun beds by the beach and pool were occasionally hard to find
- Some staff were very pleasant to deal with, some were only average and one (Aziz by the beach) was downright rude and unpleasant

Overall - if the hotel was exceptionally well priced I would consider going back and would recommend to friends. However there is a lot of similar hotels out there in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and I have stayed in better.

Second time staying here and we'll be back again. Just as good as the first time. Somehow they have created a relaxed vibe in a luxury hotel. It feels like a home from home, but with every luxury you could ever need.

Fantastic hotel, great food, the private beach is lovely, the staff are brilliant, oh and while we were having a coffee waiting for our transfer to the airport sheikh Mohammed and his entourage came in and sat on the next table to us, so it must be a good hotel if the ruler of Dubai pops in for afternoon tea

An incredible hotel. The first time we were in a week and we fell in love with the place. The second time we were 2 weeks. A star worthy of a hotel indeed. There may be some time for the palm to linger in places, but it didn't hurt it terribly. The city is something wonderful, especially I admire the fact that there are no pickpockets on the ground.

Love this place. Very kids friendly. Family room is perfect for a family of 4! Quiet and relax.

Fantastic, really love the place. Staff was really nice, specially Rahul from Rib Room was fabulous. And the hostess of Amala restaurant was also so nice.

Beautifully done interiors. But the management needs to look at how things are handled.
When asked for a menu at sultan's lounge, the attendant came with a QR code. The guest is expected.to scan and see the menu in his mobile. After almost 30 minutes, they could come up with a printed menu. And the attendant did not know what's there in the menu to assist us.
They did not serve even water after we were seated at the table .
And the food was just so...so. Nothing that I would want to remember after 1hr of the meal.
Completely disappointed...rather terrible.

Very Disappointing stay at the Zabeel Saray. Not sure, how this hotel can be part of the Jumeirah group. Service is not even 4star level.
Literally all, what makes the Jumeirah experience special , does not apply here:
No water bottles in the room, no masks, no sanitizer, no second set of towels, no amenities in the shower, no cleaning service of the room , no cold water at the pool, not cold re-freshing towels at the pool..... UNLESS YOU ASK FOR IT.

Skip the restaurant at the pool - tasteless, boring, waste of money.

EXCELLENT: the food in the Lebanese and Indian restaurant is outstanding!!! I will come back again and again.

Staff are very polite and accommodating, services top notch. I'll lodge again if opportuned.

The hotel is awesome, I have never seen so much luxury in one place. The food in the restaurants was absolutely great. First class service. On the beach you have full WiFi reception. Staff even go out of their way to clean guests' sunglasses. I can only recommend the spah, you have to see it. I can recommend the hotel 100%, we will definitely be back this year.

As a visitor you need to give your original passport or Emirates ID in order to visit a friend staying at this hotel, it's not enough just to show them the same and I belive that only police has this wrights, taking over your personal document, however seams like Jumeirah group is equal with police...so I was dissapointed...

The hotel was very nice and the reastauranta were excellent.However,We had a float which belonged to us but it seemed that our float was swapped.We left our float unattended for 2 hours as we had previously did this and nothing happened.However,our float seemed to have a hole in it and and was flattening out when we came back.Now,a float cannot simply have a hole when it was still.We saw and confronted two people using exactly the same float as ours but they resisted.Our float was flat and therefore that left us not happy and quite annoyed.As soon as I went into the building,they thought I was going to complain and fled according to my dad.There is nothing bad with the hotel,but that is our one disappointment on hotel grounds but has nothing to do with he hotel.Thanks Jumeirah Zabeel Saray for the memorable stay.

It is a 5 star hotel and even more. Staff are amazing and friendly. The hotel has a nice Music vibe. It is a nice and calm place to stay in Dubai. Location wise is a bit far from downtown Dubai. But closer to JBR. In the palm Zabeel Sarah is located in the end where you can see the beach and the sea.

Went in Ramadan,, food was so good with so much variety.

Beautiful hotel..have stayed over 5 times but rooms have a funny smell now...needs sorting.

The minute we walked into the property, we felt, we were welcome there! Have received an upgrade due to the rate we paid, was amazing staying at this Junior Suite we had. Service amazing, Staff a dream, the bed was so comfortable .... i wish we could stay longer than the 2 days we had. Pool was great, Parking with the Valet Guys such a pleasure and easy to do, only thing we did not like so much .... the juice selection at the breakfast buffets, a simple apple juice or orange juice or as on the list banana shake was never available. This property otherwise was amazing and the free entrance to Wild Wadi was a great advantage too. Will see you again, next time in Jumeirah.

We loved this opulent hotel. The service was incredible. The spa was spectacular, the restaurants amazing, the pool delightful. We absolutely loved The Music Hall was the highlight of our entire holiday!

The unique architecture with best service. Add to that the smile you receive from everyone even from security team

Loved this hotel, everything was clean, complementary spa is relaxing and the beach is decent. Breakfast was delicious but very pricey. Only downside is how far away it is from everything but we thought it was worth it

The staff was friendly but the changing room facilities are not so good, not very clean and the air-con was not working properly.
