Atmosphere Kanifushi and Constance Moofushi Review

You can simply say that it is paradise, there can be no better place in Maldives

Another brilliant holiday at the amazing Moofushi! The staff never fail to deliver quality service with warm friendly attitudes and nothing too much trouble.

Wonderful place, delicious food and perfect place for couples. We stay here for one week and stay in beach villa and water villa. Hopefully we can come here again.

We were absolutely thrilled with the Constance Moofushi resort, with the accommodation, with the staff, with the facilities and with the services. We chose a Water Villa and were definitely pleased with our room. The staff went out of their way to accommodate every need. The private Cinefushi is a must to book and the Starlight dinner was excellent. The Scuba staff were outstanding, we loved Alessandra! The G.M. Olivier de Guardia runs a "tight ship" we enjoyed meeting him on several occasions and at cocktail hour. We will absolutely plan another trip!!!

An unbelievable time at the most amazing place I have ever been to.

Location:
Located in the South Ari Atoll this is a beautiful island with an amazing house reef.

Parts of the reef have suffered significant bleaching however the island is keen to recover their reef and have partaken in schemes to try to rebuild the damaged reefs which is really good to see.

Regardless, the reef offers many types of fish which are all beautiful, from the tang fish, clown fish and parrot fish etc., As well as reef sharks and even sting rays all seen commonly. If your lucky you'll even get to swim alongside turtles right on the islands reef! They also offer excursions to other reef spots if you wish to snorkel further out or dive elsewhere.

Service:
This is where Constance really shine.
As soon as you step off the plane in Male you are met with Constance staff who direct you to the airport lounge. From then you are treated respectfully and professionally by all members of the team for your entire stay.

The genuine smiles, the friendliness and helpfulness is unmatched and really shows how far the team is willing to go to ensure your stay is both memorable and without fault.

No matter what we needed, the entire team were happy to help and we can't fault them!

Food:
The food quality is of the highest standard, and although they only have one main restaurant and one a la carte restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

The one downside however was that vegetarian and vegan options are very limited. Being a foodie, a key reason I pick holidays is based on food and so honestly speaking the island needs to branch out with its vegetarian offerings (vegetarians don't just eat salad). I did find myself eating a lot of the same pizza and pasta due to the limited options many days or finding ways of making my own dishes based on the wide range of salads, breads and sides on offer.

However, saying that, once we spoke with Rifkhan in the restaurant team, he spoke with the chefs and was happy to make bespoke food just for us to ensure we always had something we liked to eat! This was a lovely touch and ensured we still enjoyed the great quality food!

I can't fault the staff for solving the issue, but we felt bad asking the chefs to make something every meal for us, so I do feel there should be more vegetarian main options on the buffet itself (other guests also asked for vegetarian options, and meat eaters can also eat vegetarian food so it feels like a win win to just offer more).

Nevertheless the quality cannot be questioned and we still ate our fair share of food whilst there! :).

Drink:
High quality and very tasty!

Offering the usual cocktails seen everywhere, but also including the islands own cocktails or classics with a twist. They change their cocktails every 6 months to also offer something different to returning guests.

Price:
With Constance Moofushi, you do get what you pay for. It is paradise and so will naturally have a price tag to match. It's very expensive for normal income families like ourselves, however for that special occasion or once in a lifetime trip, it's worth stretching if you can.

We went thinking it would be a one off trip due to the price, however after going, our experience was so good that even though I never like to visit the same place twice, we definitely want to return here one day!

Overall:
The best place I have ever been to and one we want to return to one day if we can afford it!
Expensive yes, but well worth the money as the service, quality and location will be hard to match anywhere else in the world.

It is a paradise on earth, clear water, sand, and sunshine. Because it is an all-inclusive hotel, all food and drinks are all-inclusive and enjoyable. Daily snorkeling, discovering the secrets of the sea, endless exploration, is my favorite.

I had an excellent experience in 2015 on my honeymoon and even unparalleled in life! The Hotel is really extraordinary and the treatment with the guest is intimate, with an unbelievable friendliness and a professionalism of a high standard!

Me and my wife were recently married back in Aug / 2015 when we spend some days on the Constance Moofushi Maldives. We had an excellent experience in our Honey Moon and to this day, we have not had anything similar. The hotel is really extraordinary and the way they deal with the guests is the same way and very unbelievably sympathetic and with high standard professionalism!

This is the best holiday you will ever go on, the most beautiful resort you'll ever stay with the nicest staff in the world and the best food I've ever tasted at a buffet (they are all fresh stations making the food). Ideal for honeymooners, couples of all ages and of course any one who wants a total chill out - would be back in a heartbeat but the food is too nice and you will roll home FYI!

Absolutely heavenly! All the staff here are so friendly and very accommodating! Money well spent. As soon as well landed we fell in love. This is a place were you just relax, swim with fishes and little sharks and eat so much amazing seafood.

Paradise all inclusive resort. The guest is equipped with every comfort and service to live their vacation in an unforgettable way. On the island there are 2 bars, 2 restaurants, an excursion center and a wellness center. The quality of the food is excellent, with various theme nights to taste delicacies from around the world, as well as wines, with sommeliers who can suggest the right combinations. A strong point is also the diving center, ideal for diving (extra) or to take the diving license. Some proposed excursions (extra vacation package) were not unforgettable, I would suggest only those related to snorkeling or the one with whale sharks. The Senior Water Villas are very well maintained and have direct access to the sea via a ladder. They have a mini bar and are arranged twice a day. You can not wear shoes for the duration of the holiday, but watch out for wooden walkways because they burn your feet! Overall, they are well worth the money for an unforgettable vacation!

Just returned from a fabulous 5 night chill out. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the resort is fabulous. I loved swimming with the fishes before breakfast and the island was so quiet and relaxing. The quality of the food and variety was excellent as were the cocktails at the bar. Paradise on earth!

It is a beautiful Island, we have the all inclusive package and I have been to many all inclusive resort in other parts of the world but this is the first time that cigarettes are also included :) LOL too bad in the case I am not a smoker.
The water villa is OK size, serving NESPRESSO many years ago when it was consider a luxury. There are some coral reef near by, can see some fish. Beach is soft and long. I often find myself be the only one on the beach without sharing, it's like my private Island. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 stars is because the staff is not very friendly, in Mexico, Asia or North America everyone greeted you with smile, even the gardener and housekeeper. Here we find ourselves the one who greet them first before they said hello back.

Staff very friendly, good decoration and cleanliness. Fab breakfast. Could be better for the price.

Heaven on Earth! We had the most amazing time here on our honeymoon; everyone went out of their way to make our stay so special and memorable. We will definitely be back!

Great resort. Not a 5 star because when I went the dive center was not very accommodating and we had a very inexperienced instructor who was commission based and made our diving experience awkward centara was better

The first time I went to Madai was here. The first impression was shocking and the impression was great. The sea and beaches here are first class in Madai, and choosing here will never disappoint!

Always a delight. We have been three times so far and plan on coming back again!

If you are considering a honeymoon, we recommend Moofushi Resort. The Korean-speaking staff (Mina) is always on hand and the staff are all friendly.
As an all-inclusive resort, you can use unlimited food and beverages in the resort, and the natural scenery is great.

The 300-star hotel, the "three hundreds stars" hotel.
The 5 stars are already well deserved, it is now knowing the "Constance" quality that I realize that I had never really experienced such a quality.
Everything was heavenly during our stay: the water villa, the island, the snorkeling spots, the meals and the bars ...

But the 300 stars are the employees who have done us the honor of being in our care. This is the number of staff present each day to bring the magic of this paradise to life ...
Whether it is the waiters, the sommeliers, the reception, the landscapers, the sports team, the "chambermaids" (exceptional !!!!), the cooks, the managers ... All, without exception, are of a kindness, efficiency and attention to detail that commands respect!

We had a very nice time at Constance Moofushi, no real complaints. However, it is marketed as a five star hotel but it didn't feel like that for some of the reasons mentioned below.

1) Overall vibe felt more hippie than luxury
2) Service issues
A) English was staff's second language
B) No free sunscreen
C) Carts pass you (vs wait for you)
D) Minimal attentiveness on beach
E) Beach not regularly groomed
3) Quality of food was ok, not great
4) Only one pool and it's very small
5) Massage location loud (by planes & boats)

I would go back, but there's always room for improvement...

This place was absolute paradise, we went for our honeymoon in June and loved everything. From the moment we arrived everyone was so lovely and helpful. Our water villa was gorgeous and I just loved being able to walk into the sea.
The food was also amazing!! So much choice and everything was delicious. The all inclusive drinks were also amazing, you can pretty much order anything you want at any point of the day.

The only downside for us was the sunset fishing trip, it wasn't how I imagined. We were on a large diesel boat which was so noisy and smelly it just wasn't how I pictured the trip, I thought it would be quite peaceful.
We did also do 2 dives and they were incredible. Saw sharks, turtles and a manta ray. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. The amount of fish you can see snorkeling from your water villa though is also incredible.

I couldn't fault the resort at all, the pool and beach were stunning and there were plenty of things to do. We didn't get bored once.
Would love to go back but it would have to be for a special occasion as it is such a special place.
We were worried about going in June as its supposed to be out of season but the weather was lush! Sunny and hot every day.
Couldn't recommend Constance Moofushi anymore, it was something else and something I will remember forever!

Incredible experience! My companion and I were also able to do our Open Water Padi. Excellent and varied food and impeccable service! Just perfect.

This island is beautiful alone ... perfect beaches, turquoise water, wonderful palms. Not too small, not too big. Then the Constance chain made the difference. Impeccable service, helpful and very kind staff. Top cleaning. As well as the kitchen, even for celiacs. I had an overwater bungalow and it was gorgeous, from the sunset side, it's definitely worth spending a little more. Although the beach accommodations are splendid, I definitely recommend the water bungalow. Calculating that it is the fifth time in the Maldives, I can certainly put this island first, I could name it perfection. Obviously it's not cheap, but it's worth all the money spent, absolutely. So good trip, friends. You will not regret it!!!

Excellent by all possible means... From arrival in Male lounge to the resort's reception, the beach bar, the restaurants... A resort with absolutely top service, a 5 star all inclusive with stunning scenery... what to expect more? If on a honeymoon or on a romantic get away, this is the place!

I went in the island without paying anything thanks to a friend. The place is like the paradise where most of the things are included.
There are still things to pay for, but I did not spend anything since there are lot of things to do without paying, like food :D

120 + wines with sommeliers at work, good selection of spirits, crafted cocktail etc included in room plan is the USP of the place, of course good food. Our beach villa on this tiny island was big and luxurious with artsy fittings and wardrobes. One other highlight of this small island resort is the personalized service at every step. Lal of the spa deserves a mention for his knowledge and calm depicting the ethos of the place apart from the service and the chef brigade. Highly recommended.

Very wonderful experience overall. From the moment you step into their lounge on Male till you leave... Sublime.

Staff's friendliness seemed very sincere, and service was very thoughtful throughout. Can give examples but it would be endless. Food and drinks on an endless supply. Sunsets beautiful. Snorkeling around the many coral reefs so enjoyable. Manta point was a very good dive site, saw tons of sharks and mantas.

Only thing I would flaw is the staff at the Beach House, very rude and I was very close to getting into a fight with him. If you are the owner you can PM me.

All else, a very nice way to spend the wife's birthday and our anniversary.

What else can one say... I would never thought such paradise existed. Try it once and don't let you discourage by (relatively) high price. You'll realize the reason why. That's it.

This is our second time in the Maldives (first time was Coco Dhooni) , but first time at an all inclusive and we were worried about the quality of the food, the wine etc. This is also the Maldives so we wanted to make sure we had good snorkelling and some beach activities.

Well so far it has been a week, and both my wife and I have been very impressed/surprised by the amazing quality of the meals, the fact that the resort has its own resident sommeliers (4 of them) and they encourage you to try different wines (around 119 labels in all) with each course. They will of course help you in your selection. The snorkelling has also been very good and the resort has a resident marine biologist!!! who is extremely pationate about her work and eloquent with it. The marine life is certainly easily seen with reefs on both the north and south side of the island. We have now seen various varieties of fish whilst snorkelling, including a Manta Ray, Moray eel, Hawksbill turtle, Reef sharks and many varieties of fish and all within 50 metres of our water villa.

The staff are all very helpful and today we had a tour of how it all works behind the scenes which was fascinating. we had the head of engineering Chandanan give us the technical piece of the tour including the desalination plant, power generation, human waste processing, managing and dealing with the supply of food and drink and then the executive chef Sven who showed us around the fresh food storage, and various sections of the kitchen.

There is a dive centre here as well and they organise snorkelling and dive trips. We are off on our first one tomorrow so let's see what happens .

So as a whole the 5 stars we give it are well deserved.

Perfect over-water villas, absolutely warm and lovely staff, great entertainment and stunning environment - wonderful snorkeling just steps away! We couldn't recommend Constance Moofushi more highly!! It was the perfect place for our honeymoon and we hope to go back again someday.

Calm and peaceful atmosphere. Fantastic beaches, without broken corals. The reef is just amazing. They are planting corals as well. I've returned to this place after 8 years. Love it absolutely.
