Daniel arrived at the designated time. He conducted an extremely through service check of our system. He made recommendations and provided detail of the benefits of each and the associated costs. He did not pressure me nor make me feel that the unit would explode if I didn t get certain options. He explained what I might expect down the road, however should I not select a couple of things that were more of a repair/service nature as opposed to some of the upgrade options offered.

AS you can see I posted an excellent review after my original replacement was done. I have to say I was a little disappointed with me maintenance. I had an appointment scheduled for 05/01/21 with a window of 10-2. They called at 3 to reschedule. I rescheduled for 05/08/21 form 10-2 which again they did not show up until 3:00. Once service tech showed up he did good work. I just wish they could schedule better.
The technician (Jonathon) was great. Worked through all issues and explained what really needed to be done after another A/C company failed to do. We decided to replace our entire unit. The install crew lead by Eddie arrived on time and work very hard all day to finish the job. The whole team was very professional and represented Jon Wayne VERY well. I would suggest this team to friends and family. Great job. We are enjoying the cool air!!!
Great so far, will update after A/C gets installed in two days. Devan sp? who took my call was polite and professional and explained the service call options completely. The woman who called to schedule was also great to talk to. AJ, the technician who came to my house, far exceeded my expectations. He thoroughly explained the problem and all my options. Once we decided to replace our 18 year old A/C he spent almost two hours doing a complete inspection of my home to determine the best unit. He treated my wife and I like friends instead of customers. I was disappointed when he said that someone else would be doing the installation.
June 18, 2020 Jon Wayne A/C representative preformed a first time service on my A/C system. The Rep. was polite and knowledgeable about his job. Time will tell if I stay with this company. I knew the advertised $59 service was a hook to get my business. But, I didn't expect the first quote to be over $1,300. I have never had an A/C company make that kind of a jump. Apparently Jon Wayne is using the "bundle" purchasing system like the new car dealers use. They show you the top bundle first and after you get over the "sticker shock" they show the list of 3 bundles available. My bill was $585. I will give them another chance before I decide to stay or move on.
Years ago when American Homeshield denied my claim on my central a/c, (typical of them from what I hear) JW assisted by presenting additional evidence which helped the claim get approved. They earned my loyalty that day and have not disappointed since. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is bc HVAC repairs, when needed, are so damn expensive no matter who you use. Just gotta find one you trust. I trust JW.

Recently, I awoke at 1:30A with no air conditioning working in our home. I called Jon Wayne's 24-hour phone line and spoke with Alexis. She said she could schedule a service technician to come out that afternoon between noon and 6:00. My 84-year old husband has severe breathing problems which necessitates cool air in the midst of 99+ degree weather which we were experiencing in Schertz, TX. True to her word, Brian Bonvillian showed up around 2PM to get the cool air back on. It only took him under an hour to make sure our entire a/c system was back in working order. Alexis and Brian worked together to make sure we were happy and healthy in the midst of the severe heat. The sensitivity of Alexis and the humor of Brian made my day. I love Jon Wayne Service Company. There has never been an employee that was anything but special - a credit to your company. So thankful that we are a member of the Jon Wayne Rescue Club.

Abel Lewand arrived to fix my air conditioner this afternoon- it was hot and late in the day, but he worked very hard to get things working again. He explained everything to me and patiently worked to fix our one air conditioner and provide maintenance on the other. He was very polite and professional. I received updates from office staff as to technician arrival times and Abel worked late to get the job done. I was very pleased with the service and would recommend them.

I am so impressed with this company! We needed a brand new system and from the time we received any of their representatives in our home, it was a pleasant experience. Very professional, punctual and respectful. About half way thru installation, a supervisor paid a visit to make sure all was well - that is impressive! We got 5 or 6 estimates from different businesses and narrowed it down to 2 or 3. Jon Wayne made their prices competitive for us and their customer service is second to none. We are very satisfied with what we purchased and the service we received.

Jon Wayne technician (Tom Rodriguez) called prior to showing up at our home at the specified time. Mr. Rodriguez was very professional and very friendly and above all else quite knowledgeable in his work experience. He proceeded to do a diagnostic evaluation of the situation and ac unit. He took his time and would provide us w periodic updates. Once he finished his evaluation he proceeded to explain to us the situation of our problem and then provided 3 options by which we could choose to remedy the problem. At no time did we feel pressured to select any particular option, but we were provided w answers to questions that we had. Once he knew what we wanted done, Mr. Rodriguez proceeded to fix the problem. Again he took his time and explained to us what was being done. I would like to commend Mr. Rodriguez on his professionalism and demeanor. We are very happy with Jon Wayne Co., technician Tom Rodriguez and the work done. We intend to continue w Jon Wayne in the future.

Had an appt on Monday. They called said were running late but will be out. Around 8 at night they called said no one is going to make it out. Told them that was unacceptable and not right that someone needs to come out and they said "well I'm telling you right now no one is going out" so I had to wait another day without ac. I have no problem if a company can not get to me right a way but in over 100 degree weather and no ac dont tell me someone is and then don't but I'm just a no body so no big deal to big company. If they would have told me earlier or not over scheduled I could have went somewhere else and not had to stay in heat. They did come out the next day. The tech was good and knowledgeable however the company over charges for a part that was probably 50 bucks i paid 600 for their "knowledge and expertise". I am satisfied with the work of the tech he was great but the company should be better over all. Not everyone can afford that type of price for knowledge and no offense but any capable and willing person can learn and get certified in hvac. Maybe stronger comp is needed to regulate the industry

At first I was needing this company just for a second opinion due to the lack of integrity with the first opinion (Restore It Home Services) here in San Antonio TX. We were having issues with our smart thermostat provided by our security company for a second time in one month. After they refused to come look at it again and insisted it was our HVAC unit I called Jon Wayne. Within seconds Jacob was able to figure out it was a bad thermostat. We switched over to Nest and he was able to install it and have it running in a few minutes. Great, fast, and friendly service. Jacob showed us how to use Nest and answered all of our questions. He was extremely thorough, answered all of our MANY questions, & explained everything in detail. He was very professional & courteous. There was no pressure whatsoever during this estimate phase. It s obvious this company has their stuff together & provides top notch service (since they ve been in business 19 years). I do recommend including this company when you re getting quotes for a new A/C system.
I've had to use JW's service twice now, overall all issues have been resolved on each visit, but I had to rate 4 star only due to "the quality of training" between representatives. The first visit, all issues were explained and corrected to satisfy the errors. The second time out, which was today 4/9, basically the same service call as the 1st, but today service tech Noah, addressed the issues with solutions to prevent this same issue from occurring again, which I was more than happy to have those steps taken. Im not knocking the first tech, but it would be good that each tech offer the "upgrades/ solutions" and the client and choose from there. I will continue to use JW.
Service was originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, between 8am and 12pm. I received a call shortly after 9am informing me that it would be later in the day. At 4pm, I received another call to reschedule for Thursday, October 1 between 12pm and 4pm.
I received a call on Thursday after 3:15pm informing me that service tech was running late but would be at my home. At 5:50pm, I received another call to inform me that the service tech was on his way.
Bottom line, I very frustrated and disappointed in the way I was treated. I'll think twice next time before using or recommending Jon Wayne.
After hearing and reading all the good things about this company, I sent in a resume and filled out an application. I was interviewed and two days later, offered a position. When, after the weekend and two weekdays, I did not receive any further information, I emailed the hiring executive. I then received an email that stated they were rescinding they re offer. In all my years, I ve never been treated so unprofessionally. I am thankful that I found out how they handle their employees before I went to the trouble of hiring on. It says a lot about a service company that treats prospective employees in this manner. No thanks Jon Wayne. You re lack of moral fortitude is prof enough that I ll tell everyone I know how you operate.

Over priced after doing my tune up on my 6 year old A/C unit, the tech told me that my unit was maybe 2 weeks of not working , that it needed a new motor, turbo capacitor, surge booster compressor. I should have done my research on how much these prices cost before agreeing to it but right when he left I looked for the price of turbo dual capacitor n cost around 30$ and they charged me 238$ for the part also the surge booster compressor they charged me 311$ which cost around 30$ as well plus another 179$ for the reserve club service. All in all I payed 787$ when all I wanted was the Cooling tune up. But the tech used his pressure and scaring me about how my ac unit could give out in the next 10 days. Even though I told him that my unit was fairly new. Last time using way overpriced company. Please do your research 1st people and read the review before calling them and doing business.
I booked an appointment Sunday evening around 9:00pm, and they arrived the next day as scheduled (and called ahead 30 minutes to let me know they were on the way). They offer smaller service windows so you have a much more accurate arrival time vs a 12 hour window like other repair companies. Extremely polite and professional the entire time. Greatly appreciated and would highly recommend.

Great company and very professional from the office staff to the technicians. I have only used this company once to replace a complete AC system at my house inside and out units and did a great job. They always call you up and remind you of your yearly unit inspection and tune up to keep the system running too notch all year round. I also like that they have technicians that can come out on the middle of the night if the system goes down. I certainly recommend this company although yes it's a little pricey over other companies but you do get great service making it all worth it. And not to mention the piece of mind knowing that they guarantee and back their work and products.
Had a company in Austin instal a new unit about two years ago and they did not clean wires correctly cause unit to short out. John Wayne was able to correct problem in a timely manner. Will definitely be referring my friends and family to this company.
The Jon Wayne experience has been nothing but satisfactory. The sales associate did a great job at explaining prices and service and offered a fair competitive price. The over the phone staff contacted me about my first warranty covered cleaning and maintenance without me having to re look up paperwork for details or call to set up service myself. We agreed to replace two electrical components that were faulty. An outdoor existing GFCI plug with cover and a single wall switch. The technician Mark was great and have absolutely no complaints about his work. Our complaint is the bill came to $489 and Mark gave us a senior discount leaving a bill of $445. We agreed and paid the price to fix both. The next day I called Jon Wayne and they directed me to speak with Mark. Mark called me right back and reconfirmed his and Jon Wayne pricing. We told him we would not use Jon Wayne again because of the excessive pricing.
The cost of products and service are on the high end but they have the best customer service I have ever had to deal with. Any time I had to schedule a tune up service, minor maintenance call, or major/emergency service over the last 6 years, they made me feel like I was a priority. Being a rescue club member is also a must if you run your a/c system in the Southern U.S. constantly like I do. I have saved a great deal of money over the past 6 years on all the service calls I've scheduled.
My experience with this company was great from start to finish! As soon as I put in a request for free estimate I got a call within the 15min. When David showed up to our home, he walked through everything with my husband and I. Lol he was even very patient with all my questions and explained in detail to help understand what was needed. The service is very fast! Just had the quote today and there installing tomorrow. Very pleased with my service, will definitely recommend this company to family and friends.
Charged me a $90 service fee to come out and tell me its going to cost $11,000 to clean my air ducts and register...or i can pay $25,000 and they will throw in some extra equipment and stuff. I can buy completely new AC equipment for less, and have money left over for a vacation. Complete waste of my time and they stole $90. Don't call them unless you want to REALLY over pay for work.
I had just purchased a home and the AC went out in less than a week. My home warranty did not cover it. From the very first call the customer service was amazing. Rose was very polite and helpful and was able to get someone out quickly. Dylan came to assess the AC unit and offered so much information about the system I had. He was polite, professional and able to offer lots of information to make my decision to purchase a new system very simple. The 3 gentleman who came out to install were also very polite and professional and got everything installed in a timely manner. Travis completed yearly maintenance and replaced filter. He also checked for microbial growth, checked heat strips, airflow, etc. and made other multiple system checks inside and on outside equipment as well. He explained everything and was very helpful and knowledgeable and professional. He did an excellent job. He recommended I renew my annual Silver service maintenance, which I will.

I had 3 techs come to my house John, Jeremy and Joel. They removed my previous Goodman 3.5 ton heat pump and replaced it with a 4 ton American Pride heat pump which is a rebranded Goodman 16 seer. They increased the air return size to a 30x30 which required a new plenum to be installed. Long story short they did a fantastic job! When they started it up around 5 pm it was right around 8 hours from the start of the install at 9am I immediately felt the air moving through the house. Within an hour the house temp dropped to my desired temperature. I checked all the vents with my temp gun and all vent were within 1 degree blowing at 54 degrees. The sales rep Jake that came out did a great job also in his presentation of the system options and wasn t pushy when I wanted to make some changes like keeping my Ecobee thermostat instead of their smart option. I m completely confident that my new HVAC will keep me cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The price is a premium compared to other companies but the professionalism and future support I m sure will be well worth it.

Had Jeff from John Wayne out to give a estimate to install a soft water system in our home. Gave me a quote for a loop and system that would be needed. Jeff tested the water which is very hard as it is a well. Jeff was very professional and knowledge about what had to be done to get a system that would handle our water c.
