I had a problem with the air conditioning in my 2011 Honda Fit. I brought the car in and was given an estimate of the cost of repair. When the service was completed the actual cost was less than the estimated cost and the air conditioning was functioning as it should. I am a long time customer of Jay Wolfe Honda's service department and have never been dissatisfied with the service they have provided for my cars over the years.

My wife and I recently purchased our first brand new vehicle. We went with a 2019 Honda Accord LX. We worked with Kim Mohammadi and truly, he was the most pleasant representatives to work with. If you go to Jay Wolfe Honda, work with Kim! We went to different dealerships prior and it was the typical experience. However, Kim gave us great relief. It was never necessary to haggle on price and I never felt jerked around. He was straightforward and fair and I felt like he truly was invested in our we being. Felt really comfortable and safe. Also, Josh Pop another rep came into work at 8am on his day off to accommodate us and our schedule. Exceptional service. Couldn t recommend Kim Mohammadi from Jay Wolfe Honda more.

I needed a new part for the battery so my Civic would just start every time. Planned on shopping for a new car during repairs. The service tech was very rude and too lazy to check if the part I needed was in. Never returning to Jay Wolfe and will make sure others avoid them as well. They just lost $40k in business, not that they care about people.

I called and made an appt for a recall on my accord and was told it would take about 3 hours. I asked if they had a rental car option and they said no. And they don t shuttle far enough. I ended up talking to the general manager who reassured me it would be one hour. When I arrived I was told they were really busy (not my problem since I made an appt) and that it would take at least 2 hours. I have work to get to so I asked if they had a rental car I could use for the day and of course they don t. They were cold and unaccomidating. I will not be back. My parents had a recall on their ford and the ford dealer made sure they had a rental car (for a month!) and were taken car of very well. I can t believe the difference in dealerships. I don t care about the rental- but a shuttle would have been nice!

Dear Mr. Wolfe:

On or about January 6, 2016 my son Aaron went to your shop pick up a windshield washer. During the course of his visit there he was offered a number of repairs which were not part of his purpose for going to the store originally. He respectfully declined. Many of the items suggested had been repaired before he left Oregon for Kansas City, Missouri. This included the transmission and differential fluid changes.

During the inspection which again was not requested, your staff noted that the Engine oil and fluid leaks. The report noted that the drive boots were throwing grease, and that the /valve cover gasket was leaking. We recently took the vehicle in for repair 8/28/15 to address the item pointed out by your employees. Guess what? Upon a very thorough inspection the mechanics found there were no leaks in the gasket cover or the boots. All were in perfect condition. I looked at the inner boots of the vehicle and they were not cracked, ripped, leaking, dry or anything of the sort. The gasket cover was not leaking at all either.

How do you explain that? My thoughts are that since he was 17 years of age that perhaps there was a bit of dishonesty being perpetrated in this case. I apologize for drawing that conclusion but I cannot arrive at any other conclusion since the other mechanics that were prepared to make the repairs were shocked to find nothing wrong with the vehicle.

They did not accuse anyone but it was obvious that something was awry. I ask you would a reputable dealer such as yourself allow such a gross error in their assessment of a vehicle. I do not think you would but I want you to know that I plan to send this information to the Missouri State Attorney. I will request your company be watched and hope that you get the message. It is unconscionable that people like you do this to the unsuspecting consumer. Get yourself together and do what is right.

We attempted to purchase a new CR-V. Have purchased a new vehicle elsewhere and will not return to Jay Wolfe.

Salesman was great, offered a price we were willing to pay and got my wife fully invested in purchasing.

THEN when we began the actual purchase they came back with a request $1,800.00 higher than agreed to. Classic bait and switch setup. I would not recommend this dealer.

Honda's are a staple in my family and after driving my Dad's old Honda accord to 293,000 miles, it came time to buy my first new car. I expected I would be the one to add some variety to the drive way where 5 Honda's parked, but in the end Sales Rep, Justin Rose, and Jay Wolfe's service team brought me back to Honda willingly and happily. Justin made my first car buying experience very enjoyable. He was honest and reliable from the beginning and not once did I feel pressured to make a decision I wasn't ready for. After the sale, he continued to take care of any questions I had and has always followed up. I love my new Honda and I'm very happy with the excellent service and quality my family has received from Jay Wolfe.

Nice experience... in and out as expected with state inspection and oil change/tire rotation. Enjoyed a cup of coffee and a snack in the comfortable lounge that provides seating options to have enough "personal space" to work without feeling like you're right on top of others. Ample space also allows one to not be bombarded with whatever might be on the TV at the time or cell phone use. Especially pleased to have healthy snack options... tried a different brand of protein bar!

We drove over an hour to look for our Honda Civic and had such a good experience that we bought 2 pre-owned certified Honda's in the last 2 months. The staff were all polite and helpful. Our salesman Peter Merrill was the best, very knowledgeable about Honda products and goes out of his way to answer any questions. His sincerity and honesty made the choice easy for us to purchase our CRV from Jay Wolfe Honda. Most importantly Peter was NOT in any way pushy, he made this the most pleasant car buying experience ever. Amir the finance manager was great also, will go out of his way to get the best rate possible, seems to treat you like family. The customer lounge is very nice, making you comfortable the whole time you're there.

I would recommend anyone to go to Jay Wolfe Honda and make sure you ask for Peter Merrill.

One day my car Honda Civic stalled at Quick Trip.. I knew if was the starter. I called Jay Wolfe and told them my starter went out and wanted to know how much the repair would be before I had my car towed there. The guy that I talked to assured me that Honda starters do not go out and that It had to be something else and that I should just have it towed there so he can look at it. I again asked him for a price, he would not give me one. So I had no choice to have it towed to Jay Wolfe. They look at it and guess what, it was the starter that had gone out. They told me It would be $600.00 to replace it. You can imagine how mad I was. So fast forward three and a half years later. Guess what. My starter is going out AGAIN. So I call them and they inform me that the warranty was only good for 3 years because it was a REFURBISHED starter. I thought they installed a BRAND NEW starter on my car. Nope, they charged me 600 bucks for a 60 dollar part and labor and did not bother to tell me that. So moral of the story is, if you want to be lied to and taken advantage of. Go to Jay Wolfe Honda! I was going to buy another car from them. Not anymore!

Terrible customer service. Service personnel do not communicate well with each other. I waited an hour and 40 minutes for a ride to pick up my car today, after being told that someone would contact me in 15 minutes, and after calling back AND leaving voice mail messages and sending a text! Thank you, Adam, for finally sending a driver, but just after he picked me up, I got a call from another driver saying he was waiting for me in the driveway. I only chose Jay Wolfe because it was close; I used it once before and got charged $65 to pay them to diagnose something that was under warranty and malfunctioned. Had it NOT malfunctioned, there would have been no need to diagnose it, so I should not have been charged. I would rather drive to Lees Summit Honda than to ever deal with this "Service"? place again. The management needs to do a WAY better job on customer service/customer retention. They only got a star because google review doesn't post reviews without at least one.

My wife and I were treated very well by Sales Consultant Justin Rose and the entire Jay Wolfe staff. Staying late past closing hours to comfortably help us get the deal done (even on his birthday), Justin calmly walked us through the process in a no-stress/or hard-sell manner, putting us at ease. This is my third straight Honda and through the brand's great reputation and staff as awesome as Justin and Jay Wolfe, that is a tradition that is sure to continue. Would definitely recommend them to anyone, as Justin is turning the "used car salesman" stereotype on its head, instead offering a genuine, reassuring customer service attitude that speaks volumes.

It was a B16 service. How hard can that be? And I got out within the time frame provided initially. I did, again, tell the service rep about the problem with the display and was told that Honda is aware of the issue and trying to come up with a software fix, that so far has taken a year. No record of previous service visit on 4/5/18. Service was incomplete/unresolved. Honda national sends email to give to Jay Wolfe to have JWH call them to get items fixed.

Next scheduled service: Showed letter to different service advisor. Completed routine oil change & tire rotation 5/29/17. Service advisor is very nice. No time to take care of other items. Advisor rescheduled for Saturday 6/2/18.

Arrived 6/2/18 as scheduled, previous service adviser is off work, new service advisor says they have no time to work on the car (can't even fix front lose liscense plate). Intake bay's are almost empty. Wasted trip. New appointment scheduled for next Monday 6/4/18.

Great experience buying a car here. This is my first new car and Tony Alsaleh, my sales representative, made it very seamless and stress free. He guided me through the process and paperwork requirements. I had outside financing, but that wasn't an issue at all, whereas most other dealerships would push you to apply for their financing. I was out of F&I office in half an hour thanks to Brad Wolfe, finance manager. All in all, great experience. I would recommend going to Jay Wolfe for their car purchase any day.

Our Service Writer, Byron Hughes, went above and beyond to make our service visit (almost 3 years of ownership) informative and pleasant. We followed Byron's recommendation to have the brake fluid changed and the tires rotated. We appreciated the alignment, battery, and tire check.

Besides an oil change and a check of the sunroof air deflecter, we had specifically requested dent removal on the driver's door. Our appointment was made two weeks in advance. Byron had no way of knowing the dent tech was off the day of our appointment and he had to request we come back to Jay Wolfe Honda the next day. He was very apologetic. We returned the next day and the dent man did an excellent job. Byron apologized again for having use make a second trip to Jay Wolfe.

As we were talking to Byron before leaving the second appointment he noticed a stickly substance had been picked up and strung down the passenger side of the van after our appointment the day before. Byron whisked the van away and had a tech remove the mess. Byron said it required solvent and buffing the area. Byron commented he had addressed with Jay Wolfe management the issue of the Service Writers not knowing the dent tech was off the day before. This was outstanding service to make the customer happy.

The ladies in the Pit Stop were very pleasant with great service both days. With our appointment lasting longer than anticipated both days the snacks, sandwiches and drinks were very much appreciated. Additionally the minor act of turning the TV volume up during the weather alert (sirens sounding with rain and hail) was appreciated by all of the waiting customers.

Wolfe's quoted service prices are always lower when compared using the online service scheduling tool. Also, the lounge area is great with nice amenities. Totally worth the extra 20 minute drive.

The guys in the garage are always courteous and helpful and the folks who take care of the food inside are always cheerful. It is a very pleasant experience overall. thank you. My one - not complaint - but observation is that the tvs are too loud. Not everyone wants audible stimulation all of the time. Not sure how to address it (I would love to have all Tvs out of public view, but then I would so be in the minority! Oh well) It's a picky point but you asked! We love our Honda and sing its praises to whomever even glances at the car. Someone told me it is also the highest ranking car in Europe!

My service rep, Byron Hughes, was more than pleasant. The waiting room had ample snacks and beverages and was very nice. My issue came with the service. I had an appointment for 10 am and I arrived 5 minutes early. My car was taken back soon after for an oil change and tire rotation. I did not get called back until 1 pm. Furthermore, the sticker showing when my next oil change is was not changed and my "oil life" image on my dashboard was also not reset.

I was also told at my last visit that I needed specific work done on my brakes. I asked about scheduling these repairs and was told no work needed to be done on my brakes. This was very frustrating!
