He did a great job at explaining the benefits of what he was selling and (trying) to overcome our objections. These guys (didn't see any women when we were there) are pros and know what they're doing. Got my title info. in the mail a few days before tags were due.

I called to schedule an oil change/checkup. Was easily fit into schedule. As soon as I hung up I received a confirmation text detailing my appointment, loved this! When I arrived Chelsea greeted me immediately by name. She asked if I d like to get my tire rotation and made note of that. I left and was called within an hour that my car was ready! This was such an easy, friendly, convenient service appointment I couldn t believe it! Will use Van again!

While I didn't care for the difficulty in coming to an agreement on a fair deal for both parties, I did appreciate the gamesmanship, and in the end, I was satisfied that we achieved that objective. I felt very welcomed by all the staff. I had a great salesman! The manager was also great and they were able to get me in the truck I wanted! Well done!!!

My interaction with my Service Advisor was great. He was very nice. Very accommodating/helpful. Unfortunately, the work that my car needed was too expensive to be done by Van. We tried to get GM to help cover some of the work as a warranty issue even though my car was out of warranty, but they declined. I am happy to have had a good experience here, whereas the previous service adviser I had at Van ran me off to another Chevy Dealership for my service needs. But then when they refused to work on my car, Van stepped up and agreed to take a look at it free of cost. I'm very thankful for this guy that was able to help me out!

I had to call more than once to get our title, so as to be able to get our tags before our temp tags expired. They did say they would cover the late fee and any ticket if we got one, but they should just work faster, so as to not have to worry about it. They also tried to charge us over $600 for some wax they put on the car before we even looked at the car, if they want us to pay for it, they should just include that on the sticker price. They also did not put both of our names on the title, so we now have to go to the lien company to get my husband put on the title as well. The employees were nice, just not very efficient or motivated it seems.

Just took my car to another dealership and apparently Van Chevrolet damaged my connection to my map sensor. Which cost this veteran money he didn't have. When i told them that there was something with my car in the first place. And they ignored me several times until my warranty ran out. So if you want to get jipped go to van. You can tell by the owner's office where he puts his money. They lucky I can't give a no star review. Also from one of the horses miles in the dealership that if you're a person who leases a car they can make a profit off of you and that's the only thing they care about. So customer service is out the window unless your leasing a vehicle and they can get you in debt. Or you're very wealthy

Went in for service on my truck and while waiting had a used car person start talking to me about a truck they had on the lot. He insisted that they could make me an unbeatable deal. Upon looking into the pricing I found that I could get a new one for that price I approach a new car sales person by the name of Tim who told me as well no one could beat their pricing. Told him what I was looking for in don't even know how many times for him to come back or call me back and ask if other things would be ok (lesser of a vehicle or not even the same kind) finally on may 31 he told me it wasn't possible to get a truck in that price range and yet every other dealer I've talked to has found me a truck with everything I've asked and more for 7 to 10 grand cheaper. After telling him this and even showing him the prices he told me I was wrong. And to think I bought a brand new truck not even a year ago from them and they'd rather not keep their customers happy or better yet just not keep their customers at all.

Bought a used Jeep from Van and added the aftermarket warrantee that requires me to have them work on in order to avoid the deductible. They can't work on Jeeps! Had on idea how long it would take to get repaired because they would need to send it to a Dodge dealer in order to get fixed. Then their "Free" shuttle service could not bring me home because I live too far away. When I made the appointment no one bothered to mention that!

The warrantee is no good in that it will not cover the entire cost of the repair. JUST YOUR STEREOTYPICAL USED CAR LOT - CROOKS!

I had to get the manager involved, who was more interested in defending his employees conduct than really helping me. Blake Fanning was disputing my service history at Vans, as if I know why his CSR doesn't reflect my previous visits. There's so much more, but Vans does not care about you. Don't give them your money.

This was my first time buying a brand new car (2015 Chevy Malibu), and the experience couldn't have been better. The salesman Chris Lamont made the experience very smooth. He spent a good amount of time making sure that I got exactly what I wanted. He gave honest opinions when I asked tough questions and made sure I knew the vehicle inside and out before I left the dealership. They never felt pushy and I was satisfied with the price I paid when I left. The car needed to come back for minor touch up things and Chris facilitated that as well.

I will definitely be back when I purchase my next Chevy. The selection is unmatched in the area and the prices are really hard to beat no matter how far you go.

I bought a 2016 Chevy Malibu from here 4 days ago. The price was at fair market value and the car was in excellent condition. Ryan the Used Car Manager is a great guy to deal with and my sales associate Marian was a very personable and knowledgeable person. I had the windows tinted and their price is competitive with tint shops. The day after getting my car home I noticed damage on one of my tires in the sidewall the was fairly deep. I emailed Ryan with pics and he emailed me back in about on hour that he had a tire on order and would cover it. I appreciate that they stand behind their vehicles and addressed a possible safety issue as soon as they knew about it. It would have been hard to see if the wheel was in a position where the damage was closest to the ground. I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a vehicle.

They will lie to your face tell you that you need to buy every extra they have and you have 30 days to cancel but when try to cancel the extras they will not help and will send you to a 800 number which will also is not be very helpful. In the end they keep at least $1000 of your dollars if not more if you don't keep calling them may get some Van will not help. If you are not a experienced car buyer stay away they are crooks. (This was the used car lot)

Worse experience I ve ever had...won t be taking my car back there to get it serviced ever again...I d rather have a backyard mechanic work on it instead of having what s so called professional touch my car...

Took my car in for a oil change and tires rotation, I ve told Calab that my Abs light was on and need it looked at, when I went to pick my car up after 2 days I was told that the Abs light was not under warranty and I had to pay $230 for the oil change and tire rotation. And if I needed to fix the Abs light issue it would cost me $650.00. Long story short i asked to take my car and bring it another day for the Abs issue, well as I drove off the service shop I felt a grinding sound coming from my wheels. I immediately stopped the car and walked back to the service shop to find Calab and told him about the grinding sound that I m hearing, he said oh it s just a rock ....A Rock!!! Are you freaking kidding me???! Well if you knew it was a rock why the heck would you let me drive off with the car, and how the heck did the rock got in there???!!

He then told me to leave the car there and he ll have one of the mechanics look at it first the on Monday morning and that he ll call me and let me know what the cost might be!!! Are you freaking kidding me...do you really want me to pay for something that was damage at the shop???!

At this point I was pretty frustrated, I asked for a loaner car as I had no other way of getting back and forth to work... he immediately responded that there are no cars to loan out..

I had to call in to work and take a write up...cool no big deal... we ll come Monday I received a call from Calab... he say Hey man we fixed your car and found a rock on the break caliber so we just dusted it off, your car is ready for a pick up......

What!!! A rock!!! I call BS... because that s what he told me on Friday that it was a rock!! He already had the excuse before having someone look at the car!!!!

Van Chevrolet I will never bring my car to get it serviced there and do not recommend anyone taking their car there for service!!! $230 is a waste of my money for a tragic experience!!!

Matt Jenne in the service department is awesome! My volt required some work on the hybrid battery and brakes, which took a little over a week to get done because of the extra steps that need to be taken with GM and the volt batteries. Matt was super helpful during the entire process. He got me in a loaner car right away and he also called me daily to keep me updated. I can not thank him enough! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I highly recommend this place!!

I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. The service advisor told me it would be about an hour and a half wait. They immediately pulled my car out of the service bay and parked it outside. I waited the hour and a half, and my car never moved. I contacted the service advisor and he told me that the car was almost done. I questioned him about that and pointed to my car that had never moved, and he seemed shocked. He went out into the service area and returned to tell me that the service technician had logged into the computer using my car, but then was working on another car. The service advisor apologized and said he'd make sure my car was done very quickly, which it was. Now my concern is was the oil actually changed and the tires rotated, because of how quickly the car was completed? The service advisor did give me a coupon for two free oil changes in the future. It just seems to me that since this oil change was free (#2 of 4 that were offered when we bought the car last year) that our business may not have been as important as that of a paying customer.

Went here to buy a car that I saw online at a discounted price, although there was some issues trying to buy it at the price listed, it did get resolved with the help of the Customer Relations Manager Kim. I highly recommend that if you ever have any issues to give her a call, she was very helpful and does her job well! I recommend Marion as a salesman, he was a pleasure to work with. Sales Manager Ryan was also very nice and helpful as well.

So, let me tell you about a Used 2014 Chevy Silver...

So, let me tell you about a Used 2014 Chevy Silverado that we purchased for $25k from this dealership in January. We SPECIFICALLY asked our "Salesman" Tim Barney if the AC worked while we were test driving this vehicle (drove 2 hrs away to test drive). He replyed "yes, of course." The reason for this statement being remembered is because we had an old truck with NO AC and we weren't going to spend thousands of dollars on a vehicle, just to be in the same boat.
We went ahead and turned it on, blew cold air... but than again... it was pretty cold at the time.
Come the end of March and we have to drive to Tennessee for our son's baseball tournament and it just so happened to be fairly warm that day. Low and behold the AC doesn't actually work!
We called Tim Barney THAT day, letting him know that we were marking into that 3,000 mile "warranty" with the dealership coming back into Missouri and that's it's absolutely ridiculous that we would have to get it fixed within 2 months of getting a vehicle.
He said to figure out what was wrong with it, and he would "see what he could do".
We got a quote for $1,200 to fix the issue (decent, since the guy who's quoting us is being extremely nice). Which, now, of course, they won't do anything. We even asked if we could BRING it up there to see if they could do it cheaper or POSSIBLY HELP US. They literally said NO and they won't do anything for us.

ALSO, if someone offers you a "lower interest rate if you buy the dealership warranty", there's definitely something wrong. We ended up getting the vehicle financed through a bank a month later that was 6% lower.

Make sure you check around at other dealerships before dealing with them. Between dealing with this guy and the financial lady being highly unprofessional... eh, no thanks.

Worst car buying experience ever! So many promises not kept.They hurt my credit by checking with about 40 different lenders, they issued the loan to one company, then pulled it back and issued it to another company. They never rectified the situation and almost a year later I'm still trying to get my title. Save yourself the hassle, buy elsewhere!

Wow!! Dropped my Tahoe off at Van Chevrolet of Kansas City this past Monday to get the oil changed /serviced. The service member got into my vehicle and drove it out of the service garage like he was in the movie ( Fast and the Furious). He almost wrecked my car!! All while I was standing there watching him.

I complained to the GM/ part owner Blake and he called me an idiot. He stated, there is no way that his guy could ve done that. He also stated that he will get my car, so I could get out of there. He then proceeded to tell me how he regretted I was ever a customer. At that time our conversation turned into a yelling match back and forth. This owner didn t care about me or my vehicle.

I got in my car and got out of there before they could actually crash my car. I will never go back there again!!!

To all the people that do business with this dealership or think about doing business in the future, please stay away from this place!! They re giving Chevy/GMC a really bad reputation and the worst part is that they don t even care!! They appear to care more about a flashy building than about their customer service.

I thought buying my first new car would be difficult and I wouldn't find the right one but shockingly it was a breeze! Thanks to Chris Lamont for getting me exact car I wanted at an amazing price, thanks to the finance department as well! They make sure their customers are fully satisfied and also understand everything about the car before you leave! Their motivation to meet their customers needs is truly outstanding! Highly recommend!

It is extremely frustrating that every Chevrolet Service Center that I have visited, including Van, requires an appointment for any type of service, yet never is able to actually look at any vehicle brought in at the time of the scheduled appointment. Having a customer schedule their vehicle to be brought in at a certain date and time, only to make wait several days before you even take an initial look at it is a very frustrating way to operate for the customer and seems to just be the way Chevy does business. Add that to the fact that I ended up in the lobby waiting on the promised shuttle for over an hour only to end up having a coworker pick me up and the whole trip to Van just seems like a waste of time.
However, that is not the worst of my experience with Van.
After about a week in the shop, I finally received a call about the work truck I had brought in. I was told that the AC condenser was leaking and that it would need to be replaced in order to fix the AC in my vehicle. This would cost over $1,500 to fix. Also, Van tried to upsell on a 100K mileage service (transmission flush, spark plugs, etc.). This wouldn t normally be a problem (the truck is just about to 100K miles) however, I found out after speaking with my manager that all off that service had just been done in February. It was done at McCarthy Chevrolet in Johnson County, but I have a very hard time believing that there is no way that Van was able to see that service on record. Feels like they were just trying to squeeze out another $1,000+ out of me.
The saga continues.
After presenting all the offers for service made by Van to my manager, we decided to go a different route for the AC service and ended up using one of our coworkers trusted mechanics (for less than have the price proposed by Van I might add). They found that the condenser was fine and that the real issue was with the expansion valve. Another instance where if feels like Van was trying to extract more money out of me.
I don t know whether this is just how Van does business normally, or if Van thought they would could get away with this sort of a rip off since I would be reimbursed by the company on work truck service. Either way, it is wrong, and I DEFINITELY will not be back.

It took over 5 hours for the service department to mount and ballance 4 rims and tires. Additionally a tech scratched a very expensive aftermarket rim while mounting a tire. When I got the truck back they left the rims dirty and covered in a white substance and told me to clean it off myself. They didn't want me to discover the damage they caused by returning a clean product.

Recently bought a new truck at Van Chevrolet. The buying experience was excellent, BUT, I brought my truck back to get running boards installed and the glove box fixed (it didn't latch on one side), and now I cannot get ahold of anyone in the service department. I called twice yesterday and finally at the end of the day someone called me back to tell me the running boards were installed but the glove box was still broken, and that they would call me back first thing in the morning. They did not, so I called back, 4 times now and still cannot get a call back. I left voicemails, the front desk said they would find my "service rep" and have him call me back and still nothing. At this point it feels intentional and I just want to know when to expect my truck back. They did give me a loaner car, but the low fuel light was on when I pulled out of the dealership, so that was a nice touch as well.

UPDATE: After calling the guy who sold me the truck (who said he'd call me back and didn't), I got another call at the end of the day letting me know they have the wrong running boards (after telling me the night before they were already installed). They've had my truck since Wednesday morning at 7:30 am, here it is Thursday night at 6:00 pm and they're just now letting me know. Again, the person I spoke with told me they would call me first thing in the morning to give me an update and I haven't heard from anyone.
