4 star hotel however the staff was not the best. Had the staff acted appropriate, i would have give 4 stars. The over price was very high for the less than perfect stay(including on-site restaurant).

Went for drinks with a friend at The Stinger bar in the hotel lobby. The Manhattans and Dirty Martinis were delicious! Some of the best I've ever had. They have a nice fireplace as well which is perfect for a cold winter day. The service was great as well. Definitely recommend!
Great location - close to Times Square but not right in the middle of it, plus a subway stop right next door. Very nice rooms, excellent service. Recommended.
Check in was incredibly slow! Otherwise, it was a very comfortable room and a great stay. Despite it being a very expensive room, don't expect any extras such as a biscuit in your room, only massively overpriced snacks from the minibar!
- Mini fridges in the room are pre-stocked and have a infrared / spring loaded weight system, that will automatically charge the account if you remove something or if the weight inside shifts at all. - Tray on top of main cabinet does the same with water bottles and chips - No microwaves in the room - Tv settings are locked, not many channels - Room and sheets were clean - Bathrooms are awesome - Service is great - Gym is decent but some equipment is broken / needs maintenance - No issues with WiFi
Not conducive for business travel. No free breakfast and you have to pay for the business center activities such as printing. But other than that it was a great place to stay. The room was nice and employees helpful and courteous.
So many reason why we will never book this hotel again. Don t go there! It s pure rip off!
First of all the breakfast is a joke. Its way too overpriced, compared to what you can get elsewhere. Not many options to chose from, nothing really tastes good and since when do i have to pay gratuity for a self service buffet????? From an intercontinental (ihg) i expect better service, more cleanliness and there should be water included for breakfast and not only the cheap tap water.
The room is dirty everywhere. Strange stains on almost every wall (see the pictures)
The shower is not working properly sometimes, but the view is stunning. The water in the sink won t drain properly.
We were told that we have 20 dollars ( of 30 dollars we have to pay extra every day for the room) in food and beverage that we can spend.
The minibar list shows that the big Fiji costs 12 and a small bottle (soft drink) 8 dollars (which are also a joke if you know that you can buy the big bottle from the shop around the corner for 3 dollars) Way overpriced!!!
But in real the big Fiji costs over 15 Dollars!!! because of tax!!! This should be mentioned on the mini bar list! Because otherwise its scam! You think you have 2 drinks for 20 dollars but in reality we have to pay extra later.
The next thing!
Two days in a row the minibar was not filled up and the big Fiji was missing!
The first day they told us we can order it from room service and thats when we saw for the first time that the Fiji costs over 15 dollars ( we had to sign a bill but didnt even get a copy)
The second day we called them again.
This time they said that room service never has Fiji water, only Evian for over 22 Dollars!!!
After 2 calls they offered us the Evian again but without the delivery fee!!!! of outrageous 6,50 Dollars!!! This shouldn t be even mentioned when the hotel screws up! They should try to make up for their screw ups and not trying to rip off their guests!
But when the guy came to deliver the delivery fee was still on the bill ( i crossed it out) and the guy apologised, but no one told him that we don t have to pay the fee. I am curious if we have to pay it at check out.
I am pretty sure we will have a long discussion with the receptionist.
The next big joke is: the delivery guy didn t bring Evian at the end! It was the Fiji water that they said before that they don t even have!
The service of this hotel is terrible except the amazing housekeeping, they do a great job.
Stayed for one night. The lobby is gorgeous! Location was awesome especially that a Shake Shack is connected to the hotel! Fast check in, great location, great luggage holder personnel
The rooms and service was alright; nothing really wowed me. The rooms were pretty plain and are not as nice as the lobby and one part of the bathroom mirror edge turned black. Was a bit shocked that a roll-away bed would be an extra $50.00 and cannot be waived; especially for an IHG Platinum member. No indoor pool and the gym room was a bit small for the size of the hotel! The gym room ran out of water during the morning time and didn't see any staff members trying to keep gym room stocked.
After staying at the Intercontinental Hong Kong, my standards are a bit high for this chain.
Price and star status is not warranted. Rooms were gross. See pics. Besides the high price, they still add $40 for facility fee (this is not all the hotel taxes). AND be warned - breakfast package only includes 1. You still need to pay $35 for a bad buffet for anyone else.
Location is fantastic. The walk to Times Square is just minutes and an entrance to the subway is right next to the hotel. No complaints about the rooms or the service. It's exactly what you would expect from a standard hotel.
Upon our arrival staff was very kind and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Throughout our stay they made us feel at home and beyond. Room was not too big but was very clean.
Great location, modern and new furnishings, well maintained and spotless. The international breakfast is very varied and of very good standard. Staff available. I would return to the next visit to NY.
Catering was professional and staff was courteous. The space was a little tight, perhaps a bit overbooked. Facilities were clean which was important. Overall the experience was positive.
This hotel was amazing. The breakfast amazing. The service amazing. The staff amazing. Just a word of caution. If you book through a internet site other than their own. You will pay for the first night upfront even before your arrival. Then when you get there they will hit you with a $100 incidental fee per night per room. So when I got there I didn t calculate all these extra charges on my credit card. Like paying for the room again because the first charge for the room is just and authorization and the two room and two night I booked with a $400 incidentals fee on top of the authorization fees. It left almost $900 in limbo in which I could not spend while I we were there over the weekend. Other then that I loved this place. Try to stay on the 25th floor or higher. The views are ..... amazing
We were in NYC for a buddy's wedding on a cold March weekend. The hotel's central location was key. From CPS to SOHO and up to 125th, it was all easily accessible. Room was very nice and good size for NYC. Workout area was large with modern equipment. Didn't hit the bar, but it looked cool with a big fireplace. Some noise from pipe expansion in walls.
Poor rooms. Had to keep asking for coffee, tea, sugar and milk everyday. After paying $550 a nigh you would assume these things will be looked after without asking. Will not stay there again. Except for the porters no one could smile in that place. Not enough guest facilities either.
Intercontinental is always amazing to stay at, and we enjoyed being near Times Square just for the experience. We were close to all the subway stations we needed to travel the city, and could find any number of great food and coffee shops nearby
Great location right by Times Square with the shake shack right around the corner. Room was nice though a bath was not included, just a shower much to my wife's chagrin.
The room was fine. We stayed for one night. I really liked the shower. Disappointed there wasn't a lock on the bathroom door and there wasn't any toothpaste. But overall, had a good time. It's in a great location. About half a mile from times square
An oasis from the Times Square madness, this hotel is well located next to a subway on 8th. Fairly quiet and refined, you can relax once inside. The rooms were well appointed and large especially for NYC. My shower was updated and had good pressure. My only negative was that the front office staff were not quite as welcoming as I would have liked. Also, there is no breakfast for ambassador level so I was borderline between 4 and 5 stars.
Amazing Hotel minutes walk from Times Square. Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful rooms. Views vary depending which side of the building your one. Delux rooms have corner windows so you get two different views. Ensuite one of the best I've had in a hotel but no baths. Food on offer in the cocktail bar was quite limited but good. Free WiFi which was very speedy and reliable. Business centre in basement charges for internet use on their computers but you can log in to flights to print of boarding passes on them which is free of charge. Defiantly stay there again and recommend
Overpriced. Decent service. Charge for everything. Even breathing, almost. Charge for the business center, charge per page printed. Move something in the bar, and you get another charge.
Location is great and rooms are spacious by New York standards. The bar in the lobby is a great feature where you can entertain visitors or just hang out and people watch. The concierge was very helpful and even provided us with umbrellas when it was raining. Overall we had great time and will come back
They'rere close to the heart of New York City yet the offers a very private and Serene environment that once you enter off of the street it has if you are in a world of its own. This is a world-class hotel with world-class service and I would recommend that anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Times Square rent a room at this hotel because they are truly fabulous
Everything is a walking distance and the view from rooms are stunning. The lobby staff and valley staff are so incredibly sweet and welcoming! We had an amazing stay!
Perfect stay at IC NYC. Lori Kara reservations picked up immediately and got my family the room we needed and beat o line process. We were early so LaToya, Kashirka, Nick front gave us some great ideas. Seems like everyone was doing what ever it took for guests even if it wasn t their role or job. Like a team.
We always need ice and extras towels and since the Covid restrictions are in place Instant service came up immediately- Christina, Dowaa were very thoughtful. They also brought up IC flip flops, spa scents, towels with a note.
House keeping - Tenzin, Dolma, Tsering, and Olivia provided turn down service
Hotel Security was on point. High foot traffic area with immediate welcome back service from Fuller and Dennis. Not access to floors unless by key.
Great things about hotel right now -Price in NYC incredible -Beds, pillows, and lines -Shower -Music playlist walking in
Staff-thank you for everything. My kids felt like it was a true vacation!
