Nathan did a great job listening to our needs and recommened the correct products. Josh and his crew did an awesome job on the installation! Brandon and Edon went way above and beyond on the cleanup to ensure our satisfaction! I can't say enough good things about the employees and Innovative basement systems! I would recommend them to anyone!

We had Nate out around 6PM (worked within our busy schedule) and we got an estimate and figured out pricing. They do quality work so they aren't the cheapest option, but the fact the warranty carries over (we are selling soon) is a great feature. I also got a military discount, don't forget to ask for that if it applies to you. The work was done very quickly and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards.

I met Ryan at a home show in Fargo and he set us up for a free estimate. He was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable on the products.

Over a month to get an appointment for an estimate in January. No thank-you! Good luck getting an appointment with these clowns in the spring if you have a water leak.

This past Spring, I had Innovative Basement Systems help me with a wall leak I had been having for over five years. The IBS representative, Adam Johnson, helped me immediately with different options and recommendations from his past experience. To say the least, I have been very happy with the result and have not had one issue since I decided to put in my new internal drain tile along with a sump pump. I used to always get nervous when we would have heavy rain and would constantly check my basement. Since I worked with Adam Johnson and IBS, i have not worried about water/rain since.

Corey responded to concerns we had concerning our sump pump and battery system. He was very knowledgeable about the battery failure and corrected it. The sump pump was not functioning properly he identified the problem and made necessary adjustments. The systems have been working fine ever since. We recently had a issue with a drain line freezing up and he was in the area and he stopped in to help us out. It was determined it was not their system. We were very appreciative for his help and determining what the problem was. Corey is an excellent resource of knowledge. A man like this is hard to find !!!

Wow! I am beyond happy with Innovative especially Jason Kratcha my sales guy who diagnosed everything. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave multiple options on how to fix my foundation. Yesterday he came back out during the install to make sure everything went great. Also I want to thank Jan the production manager for being on site. Not sure we would have achieved all the lift without him. These 2 guys where on site till the job was done on a Friday till after 9:00 pm. Talk about customer service and dedication. Thank you Innovative and thank you Jason, Jan, and to the crew. My house was lifted over an inch to almost perfect.

We had Innovative come out to raise our sidewalk (because the city marked it for replacement) and driveway apron. They not only made our sidewalk worse, but could not get the driveway to move at all. The worker told my wife that they already added more poly foam that they were supposed to, and if she wanted to pay for more they could try to get it to raise. However, he told her that if it was up to him we shouldn't bother as there was already so much force it was popping his gun out of the concrete. He also called the manager while on the job and told him we shouldn't be charged as they couldn't make any progress. My wife was inclined to agree with the worker since he's the expert, right?? The sales guy who sold us the job said he'd make sure the project manager contacted us, as the end result was actually worse than when it started. He also promised us that we would not have to pay for the remainder of our $2,375 bill. This was also echoed by the worker who said if it was him he wouldn't pay for it either. Now a month later after not getting any phone calls from managers of any kind, guess what: we get a bill for the remainder! And the sales guy tells us that my wife told the workers to stop so we need to pay for the work even though they actually made our situation WORSE instead of better. I wish I would have read the other negative reviews before going forward with Innovative. Horrible experience.

Your crew led by Emmitt just finished our drain tile. I am so very pleased with the men and the work they did for us. They were punctual, so very polite and did a very good job. I would recommend them to anyone needing this type of work. They were concerned about the noise but I wasn t because I knew what needed to be done and knew some of the work created lots of noise!! Again, I want to say that all 3 of the men were so polite which is refreshing.

I contacted IBA for waterproofing/bracing options. The appointment with Nathan was informative generally speaking, but very sales oriented. I was hoping for more professional and knowledgeable feedback on the condition of my basement specifically and what the best and first steps to improving the overall condition should be, which was not given at all. They are there to sell you the most expensive services they have.

Tyler, Aaron and Ramon were so good to work with. We could not have asked for any better guys to do our waterproofing in the basement.

I had a sump pump that was continuously running and the alarm was going off. I made a call to Innovative Basement Authority and they were able to get me in the next day. David Kottke gave me a text when he was headed my way. He had my system back to proper running in about half an hour. He gave me a good education on sump pumps and a few good idea for upgrades in the future.

Adam and crew took care of our leaky basement so we could finally finish it. They worked quickly in the dead of winter and 5 years later we have still had no problems whatsoever. I'm so glad we had them do or project. I highly recommend them!

If their driving abilities Show's anything of their workmanship, they won't be paying attention to the details and won't care what the customer wants. Driving in the left lane blocking up traffic and harassing cattle trucks.

They were very prompt in reaching out to us to schedule an appointment and were able to get us in right away. I recently had two different company's come out and give us a quote on putting in an egress window. Travis from innovative basements came out as well as a different company. I truly wish we had gone with innovative. the wonderful and professional service that we received would have been well worth the extra money. since the window has been installed we have had nothing but problems and it has taken the other company weeks to even get back to us. we will definitely be going to innovative from now on with any other concerns.

Corey Nelson is a professional, personable service technician. While performing my annual service on my sump pump he noticed that my pump , which was installed in November of 2012 should be replaced. The pumps are designed for up to 5 years depending on usage.
His attention to detail saved me countless money in the future.
Corey also serviced my dehumidifier.

Marc did a very, very good job. Raised slab looks GREAT! He returned the next day to resolve an issue of unsatisfactory caulk work (by his assistant). Night and Day result! So satisfied!

I am very pleased with the result and the professionalism of the installer David Kottke with my sump pump. He answered my many questions and his work ethic is outstanding. I'm updating my overall score and review to reflect the service I received after I made my original post.
The first review I wrote was hard but also honest and fair. We did have communication problems, issues of the work getting done in a timely fashion and some sloppy work on the first go.
However, upon creating a review, someone from their management team got ahold of me within a couple hours and vowed to personally assist in making sure that the job would be done right and quickly from that point on.

He did not disappoint.

Within two days they were at my house and got the job done correctly. We also negotiated a fair compensation for the time that was lost.
Never once throughout the process was any employee unpleasant to work with. They were all respectful and polite.

The situation wasn't ideal, but we got where we needed to get and management worked with me in good faith when things didn't go well initially.
I'm happy to report that all ended well.

Adam came to our house to give us a quote on some concrete in our basement that was heaving. He was very professional and educated both my husband and I on the aspect of foundation concrete. Adam was very thorough and explained everything in our terms so we understood what needed to be done. The customer service was by far one of the best we have received when dealing with our house.

My mom's basement has never looked and smelled so GREAT. Adam came in and did a full assessment of her basement in rural Thompson as her basement was shifting and caving in so it needed to be reinforced as well as a full basement concrete floor replacement along with the entire Innovative Basement System to keep the basement 100% dry. Her basement has always been damp, and constantly wet. There was also an egress window that was added and it brought in so much extra light. Adam had made several suggestions and we chose to take all suggestions and I'm extremely glad we did. My mom, myself and the rest of the family are 100% satisfied with the work performed and the service that Adam and his crew had provided. I would recommend Innovative Basement Systems to anyone.

First, let me say that Derick, Chad, Wondrous and Manah were amazing to have work on our home and were EXTREMELY HARDWORKING and friendly. They were knowledgeable and able to fix the issues we had. They even went above and beyond and removed an old rock wall/floor section. They even cleaned up after all their work was done, which was a huge relief! Super happy!

Doug K was also excellent at communication. He did not hesitate to provide his cell and office phone number, along with his email. He was always prompt with a reply. He also scheduled phone calls with us and kept us informed.

We originally had the system installed 10 years ago and had some issues that culminated in Sept, 2019. Innovative Basement stood behind their guarantee and redid the entire system making several improvements. They explained what they saw the issues to be and how they corrected them. The system and cement look so much better and we are excited to see how it continues to dry. We can't wait to have our basement back!

After they got my deposit... they never returned phone calls... after I called 3 times I was finally scheduled for Oct instead of Aug like the sales man told me I would be. Then they call aug 6th said they could get me in Aug 22... someone would call with a time the crew would show up. No one called. I called Susan who scheduled it at noon the day before. She never called me back. I called the sales man on my way home... he said I wasnt even on his schedule. I asked him to do some checking and call me back, which he never did. The next day they were supposed to show up. My husband sat around waiting for them to show up... no one did.i called the salesman on my way home his phone rang twice and went to voicemail, so he ignored my call. So I mailed in my canceled contract requesting my deposit back for breach of contract. Monday Jan called and left my husband a message. I called him back at 4 he didnt answer I left a message, and have never heard back. I will be taking further steps to get my deposit back.

I had a drain system installed in our basement. Isaiah, Dan, and Tevin were the team that performed the work in our home. The crew showed up on time, with great team work. I am satisfied with their level of talent, fast, efficient work!!

We had innovative out for an estimate and they never got back to us, called still no answer. If you want the business, which we were going to give them, good customer service says get back to the customer. We are going elsewhere.

Derick and his crew did an outstanding job on my basement remodel. Professional, knowledgeable, respectful and very through. They installed 2 egress windows, vapor barrier, triple sump pump system, gutted and removed my entire basement floor 5 gallon buckets at a time and replaced it with rock 4 inches deep before the concrete was poured. They worked their tails off, barely took breaks and stayed till 7 almost every night. They always took time to answer my questions and I felt that they took care of my basement like their own. I had them come out to assess a problem I was having with the foundation of my house, they were courteous, prompt, very straightforward, and with the evaluation of my house the feedback and information they gave me was clearly to my benefit not theirs and it was greatly greatly appreciated. We were very pleased with the installation of channel drain in the basement. A crew of three (Chad, Matt, and JD), showed up on time and completed the project in their estimated time. The crew was professional and polite. My wife was very impressed with how well they kept the work area isolated from the rest of the house by using drop cloths and plastic.

I'm very happy with the installation of the drain tile system and the basement finishing that I had Innovative Basement Systems install. The work performed was top notch. The clean-up during and after the job was like they were almost never here.

I will say the cost at first seemed high, but after seeing the quality of the products used and the workmanship it's money well spent.

Dan Widenstrom the person who did the basement finishing was as picky as me and did a fantastic job. Plus he is a very personable and pleasant man who was a pleasure to have working in my home.

Derick and Ben came to install a wall anchor system on our house s foundation. They were professional, arriving on time and cleaning up after their work was done. We appreciated the effort made to not rip up the lawn by laying down plywood for the dirt that was dug up for the trench. Derick s efforts in advising when a sprinkler line was hit so we could purchase the materials to repair were very helpful and he even repaired the broken lines in the sprinkler system when filling in the trench, which was above and beyond the minimum terms of the contract and saved us hours of additional work. We would recommend Innovative Basement Authority to others.

I am so happy I decided to go with Innovative Basements, they really stood by their work and went beyond what I expected. The first system they put in had some difficulties due to some unforeseen circumstances. They came out in a timely manner and installed a different system that would work better for our conditions. My house is 100 years old and has a lot of cracks that we were still seeing some moisture during the wet time of year. So even after the new system we were still having some minor problems. Jan Kottke the Production manager who is wonderful to work with suggested that they come out and try to seal up the cracks. So about 4 months later when the water level went down and the cracks had dried up completely, I reached out to Jan. He remembered who I was and wanted jump back onto the project and finish it up. He then came out with Derick the Forman and Ben the Co-Forman to patch up the cracks and paint the entire basement floor with a high quality floor sealing paint. I am very impressed with the quality of work Derick and the team did. I am very much looking forward to a usable basement. What impressed me most is that when we ran into the issues it was never about the money, it was always about Innovative Basements wanting to do a good job. They did not charge me for all of the extra work even though I know it cost the company time and man hours. I wish there were more companies like them, ones that stand by their work and don t try to go to contracts that you sign and try to get out of doing a good job. If you want work done on your basement I would highly recommend them. Ok this is getting too long but there are a lot of other very positive things I could say.

I feared getting a new drain tile system installed in the basement of my parent's home in Jamestown, ND would be difficult since I live/work in Seattle but the team at Innovative Basement Systems have been easy to work with and have done a great job. Adam Johnson accommodated my tight schedule for the initial meet up/bid for the jobs and has answered my many questions quickly and completely prior to the work beginning. Corey came out to install a triple pump for the existing system (Phase 1) last week. Installation went smoothly and per schedule. He left the job site clean with a pump system that is much quieter and more robust than the previous pumps. I look forward to the IBS team replacing the existing drain tile with the Waterguard system (Phase 2) next week.

We hired Innovative Basement Systems to handle our radon mitigation and were very pleased with the work. Travis, one of the managers, was the one who came to install the system. He was wonderful in so many ways - he came to our house early before my wife and I left for work to walk us through what he was going to do. I had Adam Johnson from Innovative basement Authority come and look at drain tile citiation. After a few minutes I to the discussion we figured out that they would not be able to help me with my needs. He spent an additional 45 minutes giving me advice on what to look for and depending on what I found for a water table outside, how I could fix my cituation. I would recommend them to everyone.

I had a crack in my foundation that caused some seepage. Corey patched the crack, quickly explaining the process and care of the patch. Other than the patched wall you would never have known he was here (cleaner after he left). :) A week later we had a big rain storm and I had more seepage. I called Innovative Basements again and Corey arrived to save the day. It turns out that there was an additional crack that was hard to see and was missed. Not only did Corey come the same day that I called, he fixed it, arriving after his regular scheduled appointments and staying late to complete the work....all at no extra charge.
