What has become independer bad because of years ago. Applying for insurance is very slow, understand that their intermediary and the insurances have to assess it, but what is there being an independer late and slow response to emails and telephone 25 minutes on hold. Application but canceled and insured elsewhere within 24 hours and the policy already received.

Another addition to the reaction below. You have misunderstood the weather. It was not a health insurance policy but a car insurance policy. The link to close did not work, so he ended up. I have now tried 2x with 2 different cars to take ...

I have now tried 2x with 2 different cars to take out insurance via independer. The first time the model supposedly did not appear in the system and insurance was not possible. And the 2nd time I was rejected for unclear reasons. And that while my current insurer is never difficult.

I am friendly and well helped. Everything arranged quickly.
I cannot say anything about claims handling yet. I hope I don't ever have to write about that :-)
For now I can recommend independer with allianz.

We have very unpleasant experiences with Independer. If you have damage, you can whistle for your money. You are incorrectly counted and agreements are not met. I advise everyone not to take cheap insurance through Independer because it can cost you dearly!

Moreover, they have in-house assessors who do not advise but apparently filter and come up with a bullshit story that the counterparty could have been more careful. Independer is not as independent as the name suggests !! I therefore canceled WA and closed somewhere else

Very enjoyable.
- For myself, I easily take out my insurance digitally. Good to find out what the advantages and disadvantages are and which one suits my situation best. Clear site and nowadays a good overview of all my insurance (via Independer) together!
- For my parents, who ended up on a black list at the ABN due to a bad questionnaire. Independer helps my parents with what they can do best now and what they can do best. Very nice how people think along. Clearly knowledgeable people :).

I thought via Independer to switch to another energy supplier where an estimated monthly amount of 42.49 was proposed, however when I receive the contract confirmation the monthly amount suddenly appears to be 106. In Independer's mail there is a link to a site to cancel but it doesn't work ... .... Hopeless!

You may not work for Independer in a car related industry. If you work in the mobility industry, you will not be insured via Independer.nl

And if you try to explain this neatly then they just hang up in your ear, that's a waste of your time! Have to wait 6 hours for approval and then this.

Independer has her sales well done. Beautiful website, plenty of choice. However, if you have damage, they are simply an internet broker, who leave the insured in the cold. Automated e-mails with a first name of a non-existent person who does not respond to the claim. A low premium is fine; the fact that no payment is made is particularly disappointing.

I am not at all satisfied with the state of affairs with independer insurance! this is a home insurance policy.
I've been affiliated with independer for a long time and never claimed anything. Time ago our ipad of our daughter's broke down we have contacted independer there we were told that deductible was 150 euros and that was 2x while on our contract is 0euro deductible this is so n fabeltje? Or one bait to lure customers?
So we left it that way because we can't just miss 300 euros, so our daughters still have one broken screen, this is for school and already paid off so insurance through school has ended.
It seems to me that this belongs to your own household goods. After this we received an e-mail stating that we had to pay attention to what we were claiming because of high costs that we have e-mailed back because we do not have the money and the contract states 0 euro deductible. I have other things to me head so we have left it so they can still use the tablet so ok. But now so a few months later our TV goes much older model because we have a large family we cannot buy new TV every 3 years so our is 8 years old but was still good now we have contacted independer again for the TV. We only had to have one quotation made. No sooner said than made costs made 50 euros no problem quote sent. Costs are higher than the TV understandable! I get no response back, they made 69 euros a few days later ,,
So with deduction of our own costs of 50 euros, we get 19 euros for our TV. Object filed after 2.5 weeks nothing back I always pay me things on time and I have my own things in good order, this also from one insurance company! Really I think tn shame 19 euros for our TV why did I take out household insurance that I had better every month that money that I have deposited to you could transfer to a separate account I could have bought a new TV now I am happy of it can borrow 1 knowledge 1 but this is too crazy for words!
1 word about independer insurance. BAD!

I have been comparing health insurance policies through Independer for a number of years. I have never had any complaints and am always very satisfied with the way things are going. There is only one thing that disappointed me a bit and that was when I switched from health insurance in 2018 that my additional insurance with the previous health insurer was not automatically terminated. Fortunately, that has now been arranged. All in all very satisfied.

Although the standard process of getting an insurance via Independer runs smoothly and the platform is for free from a customer's perspective, the customer service of this insurance provider is quite like garbage!

Especially worrisome was that Independer does not inform insurants about certain legal necessities of taking out a Dutch health insurance. For example, the health insurance must run and be paid from the first working day in the NL if you arrived newly in the country. Otherwise you might get a fine! Independer doesn't inform foreigners at all about such things. And when asked, they are even imprudent towards their customers! It happened several times that their information flow was questionable or that their internal systems were not updated. Their is a whole mess around the date you bought an insurance and the starting date of your coverage.

I lived in four different countries and never had such issues with insurances. So judge my experience for yourself...

But since it is impossible to cancel my insurance with SNS Verzekeringen, even though I have not been living there for years and I just have no hearing, I have to get my egg somewhere. May it be time that this is over because this is just a shame. Consider an insurance policy with the SNS. Do not. You will never get rid of it. They outsource complaints handling. I took health insurance then changed to a new provider within the cancellation period but I am being chased by the original provider as this was not cancelled correctly by independer. I contacted them to resolve and they have basically told me to deal with it with both insurance providers. They also lied about the amount of coverage I would be provided by the new provider.

Today I made my 4th complaint with independer .. If you ask for help by phone, help is also appreciated and not the comment "then you do it nicely through the insurance itself" or receive an email with a so-called link and then without a link .. I do not understand that a company is so well known but so bad ..
And what I find quite remarkable is that a better rating (9.1 out of 10 points) is presented on their own site than here on Google (2.8 out of 5 points).

Home contents insurance is worthless.
I have now been waiting almost 4 weeks for a claim to be settled. If additional information is requested, it will take 3 - 4 days until it is sent to you. It then takes another 24 hours until independer receives your information and another 1-2 days until it is processed. Then you have to wait another 5 - 10 days for a response and it will continue like this. Ridiculous!

We had to pay 195 for an insurance policy that costs 2.50 per month. These were hidden costs that were not clearly communicated. From these costs we could have paid the insurance 6.5 years. Customer service and compliance is lousy.

Insurance taken out, 5x confirmation email received, then my old one went through and a new one never started. I call customer service, the boy doesn't even look into a system or something like that, but immediately makes an 'assumption' about relocating and registering a citizen service number etc. Instead of trying to help or see where the problem was, he started a discussion with me. Terrible service. Damage to my laminate due to extreme weather conditions and leakage through the roof. Processing is very difficult. Each time they request information that I have already submitted twice and I have to enter something else again. They could also ask at once. Apparently a lot runs past each other. And I really think they make it as difficult as possible and want to pay out as little as possible. A while ago I also received an email that I reported damage more often than average and that I had to be careful with it otherwise they would take measures. This is simply not possible. I had months of trouble with a lady who was clearly told that she could better go to her own insurance (so she did not need to pay any money). But funny and high costs, they only pay the daily value, but if costs are low, they only pay for the costs of the repair. POOR this.

I am at the second time of damage again with independer being knocking for help because I still pay my insurance always pay time. The second time I spent months doing everything and maintaining the quarrels, then the application is refused as the reason that it is a resident person which was also indicated in the application does not fall within this insurance and I have to go again. to the inboel insurance. Insurance taken out there in December. Review herewith. Problem has been resolved after coming and I am satisfied. I contacted Independer after the review. Solution thanks to the posted review but now satisfied. No responses to emails. Now everything was put into operation right away. Still a small frustration it was said that it was sent to my email address in December. I have checked the account online via webmail and there are all copies of sent and received or spam related e-mails but after 5 December no e-mail has been received on this account. Probably a case of forgetting and that is human, hence 5 stars ..

As a customer, you become a bit nervous when new documents are constantly being requested or when the assessment of a document takes a long time. The other provider was around within a week. Wanted to take out motor insurance, got a good price ... it was not yet clear if I could go on the road. After calling twice to which I would be called back, I was very cowardly informed by e-mail that the insurer did not agree.

I have many complains for this insurance, the biggest issues i had/ have till this day :
- I had my car insured by them but, i drove it to other country and let it there ( parked ) so i cancelled the insurance for 1 year. Now i can't insure my car, because they told every agency that i don't pay so now everyone sees me as a risk for them.
- Before the situation with the insurance for my car, i recieved an e-mail that i supposedly participated in a car accident?! I called them to say that it is a mistake, and to ask for more information and they didn't told me any information. That is a slander ! I was annoyed with this problem for over year and a half.
- They don't respond when you need them, even if they do you won't get the correct answers
It is defenitely a scam !

We bought a house about 4 weeks ago! I contacted Independer directly to arrange the mortgage. Were immediately helped and very customer friendly. We are assigned an adviser who has kept us informed about the progress day in and day out. His name is Benjamin Clement, highly recommended! Has a lot of knowledge and gives good guidance. We have received a final approval for the mortgage in 2 weeks. Makkie so.

Do you want certainty, speed and excellent service? Independer is definitely recommended.
