Customer service remains second to none and great value high quality service. I continue to recommend Iinet to everyone I know. I have used the service for years and through several moves - I love it!

Being something of a luddite, It was only on my retirement in 2014 that (with the help of an IT friend) I actually bought my first laptop and smartphone. He also strongly recommended iiNet as my ISP as (in his long experience) they provided the best service in the Industry - without question.

5 years has now passed, and he has proved to be 100% correct. On the few occasions that I have needed assistance it has always been forthcoming, quickly, efficiently and with charm and understanding.

Most importantly (to me, at least) I have never had to wait for hours to speak to anyone and most refreshing of all; I can always understand the staff.......none of whom have had that dreaded " Personality bypass" which afflicts so many other organisations in this area.

For anyone (luddite or expert) contemplating an ISP provider, I can think of no one better to recommend.

Stay as far away from iiNet as possible. Was with aapt for 13 years with no probelms, ever. Then they were bought out by iiNet, and I cancelled my contract within 6 months.Recently I found they had been debiting my cheque account for the last 6 months without providing any service at all. They have declined to refund the money, citing any number of irrational, illogical and factually incorrect reasons. I'm having to take them to the ombudsman. Their "support" staff have never resolved a single one of my issues, they have never called me back after promising to do so, and have in fact, signed off on multiple complaints despite the fact that they were never resolved. Just find ANYONE else.

3 weeks prior to moving (naively thinking this would be sufficient), I started the process to transfer my account to my new premises, 2 weeks passes, there appears to be no movement by iiNet, I call back and was told that they were waiting for me to call them despite not receiving any voicemails or emails to state this. Another week goes by, still no movement, yet another call and I get told that because I chose direct debit and their system is automated, I have to wait for it to progress through. Now a further week down the track, I receive the notifications it has finally progressed, but they do not ship the all important new NBN modem and it now is unlikely to arrive before the installation appointment. 5 phone calls in, 1 email to support and I am getting no where. After this contract is up, I am done with iiNet for good (personal and business). I suggest they just collect all those customer service awards that AAPT, Westnet & iiNet have one and destroy them all, your customer service is disgraceful at best.

Sooner or later all internet users can expect that one day they will strike problems. The big difference between iiNet and other service providers I have used in the past, is that with iiNet you will receive immediate assistance from helpful technicians who will get you back on line without fuss, and explain the situation to you so the problems do not recur. I would recommend their product without hesitation.

My team have been hotspotting their phones for 2 months. iinet are clueless and their offshore support team is useless. Should have picked another company for my business. Contact number easily accessed (unlike my previous ISP. Optus, since you asked. They do everything they can to avoid actually talking to customers.) Phone answered promptly. The first person I spoke to could deal with my query in an efficient manner.Again unlike Optus who shuffled one from pillar to post making you repeat your details over and over.. So far my experience with IINet has been very positive. Since joining in November I've been offline twice both times due to NBN Co.

iinet is the best. iinet has not only the best customer service, they also have the best deals and actually care about me the customer. Whenever I needed help with my internet which never happens or just help sorting out my bill.
I highly recommend iinet after being a customer for about 10 or more years.

I am in my fifth year of using iinet. At every occasion the service has been exellent and very helpfull (help was provided even thought problem was not internet related). I would recomend iinet as a great provider of internet services.

I have been for many years now a customer of Iinet and, from the outset, I have found them to be responsive and client oriented at all levels of the organisation, from their very funny advertising right through marketing, sales, accounts and technical support.
I have rarely needed to call Iinet for technical support or accounts over the years but whenever I had to I was always impressed with their efficiency, know how and willingness to listen to their customers and solve problems rather than create more problems.
Clearly, Iinet train their people well and it is refreshing to detect that Iinet employees appear to identify and believe in Iinet and that they are there to be of service to the customers of Iinet.
Also, if you call them they do not keep you hanging on the line. The customer is given the option of leaving a number for Iinet to call and, from my own experience, they do call punctually within the time window they specified.
Everything at Iinet appears to flow seamlessly, efficiently and in a friendly manner. It is also nice in the global world of today to hear the diversity of accents one hears when talking to the people at Iinet and, further, the funny and gracious way they remember one's birthday.
All I can say is that my experience with Iinet over many years has been and continues to be excellent. Iinet is a prime example of what a customer oriented business in the high tech world of today ought to be and all I can say to Iinet is "...Keep Doing What You Are Doing...!". Pedro De Souza

I have been with iiNet for 2.5 years. No problem with the Internet service, but only sometimes the connection is not so stable when the weather was not too pleasant. Rather than that, everything is all good.
I closed my account because of moving to somewhere else next week. The customer service representative was very professional and efficient to assist me for the Internet cancellation without any stress. Have a good experience of internet service with iiNet.

They do not know the meaning of customer service. iiNet, in contrast, gave me a connection to the NBN with courtesy and efficiency and, when I wanted a year's break, placed no obstacles in my path. I will happily come back to iiNet.

After experiencing poor coverage with previous suppliers IINet installed a satelite dish on our shed roof. We are in NE Country Victoria and now have excellent internet coverage. We would recomend this company to anyone with similar problems. Their customer service is also excellent.

When NBM finally arrived in our rural area, over a year ago, I did my research on internet providers and chose iinet. I was very impressed with the installation and training given by them. We run a very busy BnB and didn't want any issues with our WiFi and, to date, have not had any. We would recommend Iinet as an excellent provider of wireless internet, especially in country areas.

Been with iiNet for a year and nightmares start when relocating, they couldn't get service transferred while others can. Besides loads of excuses, they terminated my account so that I can't get enough evidence to complaint to ombudsman! Silly trick!

I have been told the problem would be fixed in 24hrs 8 days ago. When I ask for a refund they promise it will be working the next day but surprise surprise still nothing.

When I was aware of nbn coming to our area I rang iiNet and was able to organise a plan in advance which worked out cheaper than my existing plan. I was sent the connecting devices not long after. When I received notification that nbn was ready to activate I was able to connect immediately without an issue. Strongly recommend iinet for service and reliability.

When I called the iiNet team up it was regarding a bill I had just received. The bill was much more then I expected and I was totally confused as to why this was as I hadn t had this new connection for that long. As any customer would be, I was initially mad. However, when Koebrah answered my call, a few minutes later her coworker next to her started singing (How can someone like me stay mad when you can hear someone singing, being happy and enjoying being at work). So I went from mad to happy in a matter of minutes. Koebrah was so good. She explained everything in detail with me but with personality and not like a robot. She and her coworker seemed to genuinely be happy to be at work and answer my call which is something I truly loved, it made my experience so great. I m sure everyone there is great at their job but for now on I will only be going through Koebrah. I definitely recommend her and iiNet.

My daughter recommended me iiNet. I started with 50 GB a month, but that wasn't enough to watch movies and TV shows. Every month ended up with slow Internet, One day I got an email offering me free of extra charge an extra 50 GBs a month, then the 100 GB were double to 200 GB a month, now I'm getting 500 GB a month, no extra charge, still paying the $59.95 a month as when I first joined iiNet for Internet and telephone.
Whenever I have had problems they are dealt with very professionally and efficiently, technicians don't stop till the problem is solved. I can say the service is excellent and very friendly.

I stuffed up and paid several hundred dollars to iiNet instead of ING. Called up. Spoke with the amazing Kimberley. She arranged the refund. Ensured my account details were on the profile so the money would go to the correct place and called me back to confirm a fee i had already noted online. Gave me a time frame due to additional approvals for the refund amount and moved my direct debit back to my credit card. Customer service as it should be.

All the high star reviews i see on here are obvious from old people that only use the net for emails and Facebook. But me being a active internet user this company is so annoying. So many times the WiFi just cuts out.Very inconsistent connection.

Edit: for the past week the net has been so bad, disconnecting every 10 mins. Rang up and all they say is to turn it off and on again like that will help. Same thing they say, reading from a script. Changing to another provider now.

I've always had positive results with iiNet, both on products and support calls. Everyone is always very helpful and friendly, and issues get resolved very quickly. Their NBN service is also fantastic; HFC connection has not had any drop-out or speed issues. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I'm leaving this property again. They said $100 for disconnection fee. Good riddance. Never sign up to Iinet if you are a frequent mover!!!! Switching from broadband to NBN required a credit card for some reason - couldn't proceed without it, but was assured that nothing would be deducted and that I could still pay via online banking.
Immediately after the call, I get an email saying that monthly payments would be deducted from this credit card, and a second email saying that $89 has just been deducted - what? I wasn't even told of this charge, let alone authorised it!
Called to complain and a supervisor needs to return my call, three hours later and they call my wife's number (what?) and leave a message that we cant even understand. The first opportunity I get I'll be moving, hopefully home 5G is here soon.

Terrible customer service for after sales. They are rude and unhelpful. Very inflexible. Prices seem competitive but when you want things other providers want, they want to charge you more, or move you to a business account for something as simple as a static IP. This is something even Telstra provides for free.

I accessed the iiNet website to switch from ADSL to NBN and had an online chat with a consultant. She was very informed and efficient and advised me that I would receive a call within 15 mins. In fact, the return call was less than 10 mins. The service and advice was clear and easily understood.
The process took around 15 mins, and I now know my new modem is on the way, and I have an appointment with an NBN next Tuesday.
So basically, the whole process was fabulous. Now I wait and see if the connection is as smooth a process.

I don't need to do anything and that's what I like However iinet is particularly efficient and effective in responding if I experience a problem and phone for help. Problems have always been resolved - generally during the call. I have been a customer for about 13 years and this has been my experience throughout that time. PS I am an old lady.

Brought a D-Link 1900 router which is compatible with and NBN network provider around the world except that iinet system doesn't support it so be careful when choosing a better Modem or router.
call center staff are non English specking people who have no idea on how to spell names or even birth dates, they get into following a process in front of them then at the end say i'm sorry we are unable to help you and will escalate to the next level.
management staff are not bad but again fail to following up with the customer on how things are coming along and not leave it for 3-4 days again. the only thing their good at is sending emails stating we are looking into your issue and give a reference number but nothing else.

Avoid iiNet at all cost if you actually like having an internet and phone service. We have had nothing but dramas with this company from internet dropping out, to incorrect bills and the worst customer service I have dealt with.

If you enjoy spending hours on the phone getting transferred from department to department, country to country and receiving incorrect information and false promises then join iiNet.

Nothing but issues and dramas with this pathetic company. I'm surprised it's actually still operating as everyone I speak to seems to have the same problems. I wouldn't recommend iiNet to anyone!
