Had a very good an experience at this dealership. I came in at 6pm and walked out the door with my car at 7:45pm. Dawn Boyd did a great job explaining features of the 2013 Sonata Limited that I purchased and answering my many questions. Scott in the finance department was friendly and while offering extra services available from the store he didn't pressure me to purchase any of them. I would definitely recommend this store if you are looking for friendly service and painless purchases.

Brought my 2015 Genesis to Hyundai Wesley Chapel to get the cheap plastic piece that cracked below my seat. Wesley Chapel said that the front seat controllers were connected to this piece and they gave me a price for $838.35 for the parts and it would be around $100.00 for installation. I told them I would look for the parts used or somewhere else. I googled wholesale Hyundai parts and found Hyundai Lakeland Automall. I made the trip from Wesley Chapel to Lakeland and purchased the pieces for $29.09. The parts came in today and they installed for free-took 5 minutes. I'm not sure if the service department at Wesley Chapel Hyundai are scammers or just incompetent. But we have purchased several vehicles there and will not be going back.

We made the drive to this Hyundai dealership even though there was one much closer to us for the great service and fair prices. Most of the negotiations were over email. Thanks to Michael Scheu, the representative I was in contact with, paid close attention to my requests, was quick to respond, and provided accurate numbers. I was provided with great deal and excellent service. By the time I went to the dealership, all I had to do was sign, and I left with the car in under an hour.

Purchased a vehicle remotely from Michigan. The process was easy, the salesman seemed completely pointless, and Brad in finance was amazing.

However;

my credit was run 8 times in the process. After some research, I found that this is a common practice referred to as shotgunning in which the dealer attempts to find you the best interest rate or even(more likely in my case) simply find someone who will approve you at all. It should be considered one inquiry according to the source I am trusting. I ve yet to call and confirm that, but my credit was hit a 9th time due to an employment inquiry when I am self employed and the paperwork I had previously submitted stated this information.

Neither the salesman or the amazing finance guy with whom I d been working with were even at the dealership when I arrived for pickup even though they both very strongly Indicated they would be. I ll cut Brad in finance some slack because it was lunchtime on Father s Day when I arrived, but the salesman(who I was communicating with via text that morning) didn t seem to have a clue what was going on.



After a while a brand-new salesman attempted to give us a tour of our new vehicle. He told us where the traction control and eco-booster buttons were. That s about it lol. He was very nervous, but handled himself very well. I understand this completely as I am in sales as well and remember the feeling. Also, we bought a pre-owned Chevrolet at a Hyundai dealer so he d been trained to give Hyundai tours(shouldn t have been left to do that alone). This is frustrating because 2.5 weeks later we still can t figure out the Bluetooth. Seems that the software is outdated and the apps customized for the previous owner??? We re getting there...

Excited to drive our new vehicle back to Michigan, we take off from the dealership only to realize that we re dead out of gas. Later that night, in Tennessee, we stop for dinner. It gets dark. We re ready to drive all night. There s a headlight out. Everything is closed early due to Covid......... Night ender...

Oh. I also think it s worth mentioning that the vehicle was listed at $9,777 ish. How much is it going to cost us??? A little over 22k.... We have bad credit so I m not mad. Just happy they got me approved. I saw another review after posting that mentioned high dealer costs so thought I d revise my review to include this tidbit.

Shout out to Bob Z who spent his whole day with me trying to lease my first car. He provided phenomenal customer service. He walked me through how to use the car completely as well which was extremely helpful. I reccommend making an appointment with him!

I just got 2020 Hyundai Elantra on the 10th and on the 13 well I was out of town called me and told me leader backed out so i had to cut my vacation short and I went down to the dealership on the 20th by that time i was done i did not want the car anymore and I did not want the car anymore in my years of getting car I never heard of a leader backing out so I told them I did not want the car and anymore because and they wanted to sign a whole new contract with a higher Interest rate nso I would have to pay more I told them no and the sells manager tells ether way does not matter to me really rude I would not get a car from this place dont go they will give u a car four days later will want u to pay more money

I originally purchased a used Tucson from Hyundai of Wesley Chapel in 2013. I have had all my services performed there. They have been very professional and the work is outstanding. When it was time to purchase a new vehicle, I didn't even consider another make or dealer. John DeMarco was my salesman and he is great. There were a couple of hiccups, but he took care of everything and spent about 1 1/2 hours going over all the features of the vehicle before I left the lot. I can recommend this dealership without any hesitation!

John, the salesman, was rude, abrupt, and after 5 minutes he got a phone call and just left...no goodbye, go to hell or anything...it was obvoius he thought he wasnt going to make any money on us so he wasnt going to waste his time...the ad said that they were offering 8000 over KBB, John said that was to buy a $76,000 car. My next car wont be purchased there....and I have also had service issues there.

I did an Internet inquiry with Hyundai of Wesley Chapel about a 2012 Ford Flex on Monday June 15th, 2020. Carter reached back out to me attempting to setup a day to test drive the vehicle. I advised them I had $2000 to put down on the car and would like to keep my payments in the range of about $250. That same day which was the 15th, Hyundai advised me in a text message that the expansion valve for the AC needed to be replaced but that it would be fixed within a few hours. We scheduled for me to come in the following day to do the test drive and fill out all of the paperwork. I go to Hyundai the next day and met with a salesman named Ron whom I did the test drive with and decided that I wanted to purchase the vehicle. Upon doing the paperwork I was advised by Ron that the expansion valve was never replaced the day before but they were doing it while I was doing the financing paperwork. After giving the company my $2000 down payment and having all of the paperwork filled out they advised me I had to have the car added to my insurance policy before I could leave. I added the car to the insurance for Ron to come out and tell me the car wouldn't be ready until the following day. I was frustrated at this piton but I was ok with it at the same time because I wanted the car to be fixed. The next morning I get another call from Hyundai saying the car was now unable to be repaired. So now I am having to leave work early for a second day in a row to try to get everything worked out. Carter then starts sending me pictures of two other cars that would be in my price range. I go down to test drive one of the cars. I was advised by Carter via text message that "there would be no extra charges" I test drive the car, decide I liked it so the approval process started again. Carter told me to go back home while they did the approval and he would call me no later than two hours. Three hours later I called Carter for an update. He advised me he would need another $1000 down and my payments would be $390 a month. This is not what I was promised originally. I then had to make a third trip to the dealership in which that time I requested for a refund. The dealership kept placing all of the blame on the banks and were completely missing the point that their customer service was absolutely horrible! They inconvenienced me for three days, posted a car on their site for sale that was not ready to be sold, and gave me the run around the entire time. What made it worse was I paid with a debit card for the down payment so my refund takes 3-5 business days to receive. I left Hyundai after dealing with them for 3 days with no car AND having to wait for my refund to take my business elsewhere! Ultimately that same day I left and went over to Wesley Chapel Honda where I left in 3 hours with a newer car, less mileage, and an overall better experience! My experience with Hyundai was absolutely traumatizing! I would never recommend them to anyone!

I took my car about 2 months ago to them and I got it back 2-4-2020 I didnt get it fixed because I didnt have the money so I just paid for the diagnostic which they didn't tell me what part was failing they just said it needed an engine so when I trailered it back to my house from the dealership I opened the hood and seen that they didnt put the bolts to the valve cover on nor did they put the bolts to the ignition coils I also seen that some wires weren't connected, justin my consultant told me my car was ready for pickup by the looks of it, it wasn't ready for pickup at all

I truly enjoy my time here. The service Dept is great. They are always willing to help and explain anything that you ask. Bob Z has been my sales guy for awhile and he is stuck with me. A truly genuine, straight to the point, sweet and nice guy. I have gotten three cars with him and I'm sure there will be more to come!

I was looking for a new car and had been impressed by the reviews of the Hyundai Elantra SEL. My son recommended this dealership having bought his own Hyundai a few years back. I used their website first and picked out a car I was interested in and made arrangements to come in the next day. I was told that
Carter Miller would be helping me. I was very impressed with his salesmanship, and his knowledge of the car and the various warranties offered. After I decided on the car, he got everything handled promptly and sent us to see. the finance manager to complete the sale. Afterwards he brought my new car around and let me know he would be available to answer any questions I might have. I would highly recommend him if you re looking for a car!

Excellent customer service. I had to have my genesis towed to the dealership as it was dead even after a jump start. Battery was replaced and they drove it back to the house (few miles) because I was unable to drive after surgery. very kind and saved me a major hassle!

Updated review: Joe Williams is not there... Bob Z is THE guy..... especially if you like honest people. Very similar to Joa and who we bought our last car from. You wont regret it

Always ask for Joe Williams and make sure he is there before heading over. He is not pushy and tries to find what is best for you, not just put you into anything just to get a sale. He helped us get two vehicles even though I had only been at my job a couple months as a new grad RN.
If you are a new grad or trying to build/establish credit, he will do everything he can to get you a car.
This, from a Honda lover with unwaivering loyalty and a car salesman father. I was taught well. Hyundai has stepped up their game and the service is spectacular at this location. Cannot get as much car or quality anywhere else in the Tampa Bay area. Worth the drive over. Go there ready to buy.

He walked us through every step of the process with perfection and gave seamless transitional hand-offs to other departments throughout the process. After my purchase, he emailed and called to check on us several times. Great personality! A great asset for your organization!

Scott Goldsborough, our finance manager was AWESOME! His personality made this portion of the lease experience enjoyable. He was very friendly and kept me laughing the whole time. He made sure I had everything that I needed and made sure all of the paperwork was in order. Any questions or concerns I had, Scott addressed them right on the spot. It was a pleasure working with him. Highly recommended!!!!

This was the best experience my mother could have ...

This was the best experience my mother could have asked for. My mom is a four time cancer survivor and needed a new car. After months of Chemo and getting back on her feet she needed a new car. She had gone to one dealer ship earlier in the week and got the typical used car sales pitch and was about to over pay and bye the wrong car for her.
I brought my mother to Hyundai of Wesley Chapel on Saturday and it was the best experience she and I could have ever asked for. From the management to our sales professional Rick Reynolds down to Scott in Finance the whole experience was a 10/10.
They went above and beyond find out what was important to my mother and her needs and found her the perfect car at the right price.

Bought a 2018 Elantra GT and the first week the door handle pops off, I brought the car in and they told me they would have to order the part and paint it and it would take probably a week. It has been a month so far, they told me they have the part in but it's waiting to be painted, they keep telling me they'll call me back and they don't, they keep telling me it will be a few more days and then I never hear back from them, one guy lied and told me the painter is on vacation. I'm just fed up with these guys and recommend shopping elsewhere

I went to get an oil change early yesterday morning at about 7 a.m.. I did not have an appointment. It is understandable that I will not be the first customer to be seen. But, there is no need to be rude to a customer. Very unacceptable. Not very friendly as well. Maybe a HI, HOW ARE YOU? would've been nice. If you do not like your job, then please leave. There is not need for negativity towards a person. I will definitely not be coming back due to the lack professionalism.

This is my second time coming to Hyundai of Wesley Chapel and Kalef is always so nice. He always communicates and keeps me updated as to what is going on with my vechile. His customer service and great personality make a delight. I could go the Hyndai that is 15 minutes from my house instead I drive all the way to Wesley Chapel because of the excellent service I recieved from him when I come there.

Extremely poor service, trying to get previosly unbroken items fixed as they are now somehow broken, terrible communication, not calling back, receptionists refusing to connect calls, uncaring, flippant attitudes. Trying to get money for repairs to recoup losses on terribly crafted unreliable car. What good is a warranty when they bait and switch and tell you you are now responsible for repairs on "not covered" items. Don't care about wasting your time, and write bald faced lies on repair sheet making up stetements about customer claim about something broken, when that is a lie. Must be to show corporate how they are generating charges for repairs. Would give zero stars but cant. Corporate made aware, do not deal with this dealer unless you want to be taken for a ride, and treated horrible. Awaiting case manager to get back on third complaint with this dealer. Example of arrogant jerks who think they are too big to fail. Wrong. I am pursuing every legal option. Will NEVER but a Hyundai again, and plan to tell everyone i know about this horrible experience, as soon as my issues get resolved either by corporate or other legal means.

Kevin was able to greet me right away, outside of the service area. He was very nice and explained to me everything and if I needed anything to not hesitate to ask. Kevin was also able to send me a ride back to my home so I did not need to sit at the dealership. I was able to get back to my car in a timely manner. Kevin was able to explain everything that needed to be done. I have my appointment scheduled so I'll be seeing them soon! Thank you!

Also, today I was able to meet Zack and Nick who were also great and super patient with me and wanted to make sure I was comfortable with any decisions! I cant wait to go back and get my brand new car from Hyundai :)

I had made an appointment for an oil change and to have something else checked (the car was having trouble starting). I was told I'd be there for 1 hour max. 2 HOURS later I went up to the desk to check the status and come to find out my oil change service was never added. So I was there for 2 hours just for them to tell me I needed a new battery - and no oil change. I couldn't wait any longer so I called later to speak with a manager to discuss what happened and got no where. I will not be returning.

I am writing this review to warn others about this...

I am writing this review to warn others about this business. Before we even looked at a single car the salesman tried to get me to sign a contract binding me to a sale "so long as the monthly payment was $200 or less". Obviously I asked to look at cars first.
They tried to sell me a car for thousands more than what it was worth.... told me it was the best they could do and that they were actually losing money on the deal. I showed them a listing from other dealers with newer models and fewer miles for much less - they made up a story about how those dealers have hidden fees and DARED me to go see for myself. All the while asking me to sign away my rights if they could get the payment to $200. I didn't sign because the price wasn't right for how old and used the car was. I set my price and they asked me why I think it would be worth anything less than what they offered it for. They laughed at me for staying firm with my price and treated us like we just had no idea how far a dollar would actually stretch. The salesman actually commented on my "nice wedding ring" at one point to prove that we could afford the payments...
I went to another dealer and got a WAY better deal. 3 years newer with HALF the miles. I paid $3,000 less than I would have for the crappy car they were trying to peddle to me at this Hyundai of Wesley Chapel.
I got an email a couple of days later asking if I wanted to come in and look at the car again. I told them no - I found a car and told them what a great deal I got. They began criticizing my purchase and trying to get me to buy a warranty from them. I said no - I'm covered.

My husband and I now get calls/emails/voicemails every day from them. Every single person who has contacted us has introduced themselves as THE sales manager.

Today they asked us to bring in our Jeep to trade and buy another car from them.

These people have all the tricks in the book to make you feel undermined and stupid. Don't fall for it. Go somewhere else where people are honest. I truly feel like any positive reviews on here are fake and written by the staff at the dealership.

The service was ok, but my three times reported problem of clicking of a joint was still noticeable as soon as headed towards the street.I will not be comfortable until that problem is discovered and fixed. Apart from that the service was ok. Thanks.

**WARNING the service department is full of RUDE and DISHONEST CROOKS**

My daughters 2010 Hyundai Accent wouldnt drive over 20 mph. Went to reputable local shop they stated it was the catalytic converter and that there were no leaks and they being honest told me to take it to the dealership because it was covered under the federal emissions laws.

We dropped it off at Wesley Chapel Hyundai and Ed in service called stated that his tech diagnosed it as 4 quarts low on transmission fluid (lie #1) and it needed to be flushed. Also was told that the car was California emissions and wasn't covered (lie #2).

When I called Ed in service back he was very rude and stated that I had no idea what I was talking about and his tech was correct. After Ed continuously insulted me I asked that the GM call me and left a voicemail but never got a call back.

Finally got a call from Jay who stated he was a service manager. He was even ruder than Ed. Would not even listen to me but only talk over me. They would not let me take the car without paying a $120 diagnosis fee for a fake diagnosis. I had to call Hyundai Corporate. They contacted Wesley Chapel Hyundai and instructed them to waive the fee.

I then took it to Brandon Hyundai without telling them my story at Wesley Chapel and they diagnosed it as the bottom of the front catalytic convertor had melted and broken up and caused debris to completely clog the back catalytic convertor. They ordered the part and it will be fixed on Thursday.

We had a fantastic time at this dealership. John Demarco was fantastic and Tony Balter was outstanding with the deals he made with us. We walked with four cars that night closing the dealership. They orders us pizza and made sure we were comfortable. This place was outstanding in all they did. From now on we are part of the Hyundai family and are dedicated to this dealership. We traveled to two other dealerships that day and settled at Hyundai. We were extremely excited we did. They were so pleasant and easy going. No hassles and no frustration. We will be sending everyone we know to this dealership to deal with these two guys. Thanks again for all they did and for staying so late to complete these deals.

Friendly staff, but took my car in for it's routine maintenance and I'm pretty sure they didn't do what they were supposed to do. I called and made another appointment to have the issue resolved and they took care of it the 2nd time around. Just be weary that they complete the work they claim to do, as with any car dealership honestly.

Some how I always get Denis there. He's very nice and he always tries to help and go an extra mile. But I feel like this place is unorganized and I feel like the girls for the front desk 4 fixing the cars don't really like to do much and just like to talk. I had call to see if my car was ready cuz I had a schedule appointment and it feels like even with the schedule appointment I'm not in and out but I left my car there to go take care of some errands and to come back and two hours later driving by I had called to see if my car was ready and the girl just told me she doesn't think it's ready and Dennis is with another customer and after leaving Dennis had called me and told me it was ready

Not your average dealership. I just bought a 2015 Hyundai Elantra from Sonia and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She worked around the clock making sure my deal went through and I left happy. She was very friendly and personable. Made the whole thing feel as if I was buying a car from a longtime friend. Will be going back to get my fiancee a car from her. If you are looking for a great buying experience, Sonia and Hyundai of Wesley Chapel is a one stop shop.

If you are having your car serviced, bring your lunch and a pillow. An hour and a half and still waiting. Jiffy lube is looking like a much better option.
Promises of quick service, lol. I am staring at a sign that says oil changes done fast. Not in this world. I guess they use a calendar instead of a clock.
Now it is 2 hours and I have cobwebs growing on me. They may find a skeleton sitting here if they ever come to find me.
Why make an appointment? Useless.

I had my certified service done the service was in a timely manner but the technician that did my service forgot to reset my service needed warning so I had to call and they sent me a link to a video so I had to do it myself which wasn't difficult but I shouldn't have had to do it. They also put a blank sticker on my windshield to let me know the mileage or time for my next service. Tge sticker was there but was blank so when I called about they said they will mail me a sticker with the information. All of this was not major issues but I would have to say I have had better and more complete and payed attention to detail in the past.

We had such an amazing experience at this dealership. Our salesman was Bob Zvonchenko. As soon as we arrived he came and talked to us and got me in the car for a test drive right away. He immediately got me an amazing trade-in value for my old car and got us an unbelievable deal on the car I ended up getting. There wasn't even any negotiating. This was such a pleasant experience for me and my family. I will definitely be telling everyone to go in and talk to Bob. :)

I was on 9/27/2017 with appointment to perform the service of 45 thousand miles of my Elantra 2015, the problem was that the total of the service was 35% more expensive than the estimated addition that in the service included wash and vacuum the car which they didn't, if something as basic and obvious as the washing the car didn't do, what I can expect from the other services?, I feel cheated and insecure because I don't really know if the services were done to the car, but something is real the service was very fast, but I already know why !!!

I just went for my oil change, and again for some reason they never top off my windshield wiper fluid. I get home pop the hood and the fluid is near empty each time i leave from an oil change and it happened again today. I would love to give this dealership a 5 star rating , but they always fail because of something so minor... or is it minor? I wonder if they even change the oil,- if they dont do the standard checking such as the windshield wiper fluid. Is it me? Am i expecting too much?

i have changed my grade. Simply, because one prrson stepped up and went above what i wanred and needed. Jay from service/parts.
He followed up from a different location. Which meant alot. He made sure everything worked out. I made it 5 stars, because of Jay

However, i still think its necessary to leave original message in tact.

A year ago i wanted a Hyundai. I Live 10 min from WC Hyundai. The sales team was brutal. I was looking at a car in showroom and 5 employees walked by and no one asked if i was being helped. Then the person i got didnt even know the name of the models. I left and drove 1 hour to Crown Hyundai and bought 2 Elantras. I let it go.

Fast forward a year i take both cars for seperate reasons at seperate times. First upon the last complimentary oil change at Crown i was informed that there was a recall on the locks for that model. They said they took care of it. They actually didnt and now the door wouldnt open. Took it to WCH Service. The service rep E.J. said there were no recalls. After arguing with him he looked it up found he was wrong. He did not address that. So three weeks later same guy with a different car argues with me twice. Once about me hailing an Uber? i said three times no thanks on courtesy van ill take Uber. After 3rd time he gets driver on speaker and says he'll be there in 10 min. 27 minutes later no driver and i hailed a car which took 7 minutes. Still no van.
Lastly, i have tire insurance. I hit pothole to the extent they replaced the 2 wheels. I had to inflate tire with the system that comes with car. It was leaking that substance after inflated. I know that tire is damaged. He told warranty company nothing wrong with tire. First of all it is common to replace tire that has 23k miles on it and has been revived with fix a flat and is to be placed on new wheel. I have several interactions to not trust the judgement of E.J. I asked for a call from Service Manager and wanted a 2nd opinion. that was at 12pm it is 9 am next day, nothing. E.J told me Chris was service manager. This morning i was told there is not a Chris in service D. I called 12 times from 1pm to 630pm. at 2 someone told me EJ was on lunch. At 3pm the next person said he went home for the day. at 4 imani placed me on hold 3 times. All 3 times a salesman at NPR ANSWERED? Three more times Jeff at concierge answered said he would get message to service dept for update. No response. Again I called 12 times for 5 hours a not once did i reach someone in service dept. I would like to do commentary on this debacle, but ill leave it here.

Two days later update.
since 3 15 i have asked for jv or GM to call me, they have not.
I called warranty company. They said if Ed would have sent them a picture or just told him there was fix a flat they would have replaced tire. This morning i told him that and wanted a tire and not wait for process again since this could have all been done 2 days ago. He hung up on me, first refused again to get JV on phone.

GOOD NEWS.
The phone system is a disaster. I punched a 3 digit x for GM and i got parts dept? How fortuitous for me. Randomly, Jay from parts asked me to explain my situation. Told him everything i told EJ. He said no problem ill get you a new tire. I then told him about the warranty company. They have to approve and that it will take sometime for that process. He said what time do you want your car back i said noon. He then asked me not to worry about payment end with warranty company. All he is concerned about is safely getting me back on road again ASAP! Wow! What a contrast. Jay listened then acted. He should be recognized for immediately turning a three day abomination into a positive experience. It still should be noted that EJ was as negative experience as Jay was positive. Im still sore about being told its obvious we dont like each other and him hanging up on me.

I've been to this location twice now for services and like it way better than the Tampa one. They didn't try to upsell too much and didn't come back with a list of supposed needed repairs that would cost thousands like would happen everytime I went to Tampa.

Our salesman was John Cavalovitch he was so helpful and knowledgeable he answered all of our questions and took a lot of time to demonstrate all of the features of the car of which there were many! Over all of the years of buying cars I have to say this was the most pleasant car buying experience. Usually dealerships are pushy and stress you out but they really go out of their way to help you out. Felipe was amazing and very helpful!

Sales team are good people and friendly. My issue lies with the service dept. Even with an appointment the wait is far too long. Be prepared to wait a minimum of at least 2 hours for a routine oil change even with an appointment! I waited over 3 hours before and I showed up promptly at my appointment time. I avoid there service department at all costs.

Rick was great, very honest and informative and I feel he gave me a fair price for my trade in and a good price for the vehicle I purchased. Just leased a 2020 Tucson at Wesley Chapel. Joey Lindsey was our sales consultant and he was exceptional. Joey was quite knowledgeable and answered the many questions we asked. He was so patient as we went through the whole process. The whole team who handled everything for us including Robert Schlopy, who took care of the financing, were the best.
