The receptionist is incredibly rude. Always hangs up on callers and tells them the leasing manager doesn t want to talk to them. Their maintenance man makes false accusations about the tenants to the company to get them in trouble and the company then sides with him instead of hearing the tenants side. The maintenance man also constantly harasses tenants and nothing is done about it.

We were apartment hunting and do believe we were discriminated against. We saw the house after hours on Wednesday evening. We were interested and filled out an application and of course paid the fee. We also provided a check for the security. It was weird how the agent kept over explaining who she was texting. Then on Thursday morning by 9:23 AM we get a text message that we were denied. Not only does the office not open until 9 am, but they removed the listing right away. I am perplexed and pissed to be Frank! Sketchy for sure.

My experience with Prudential has been great! Ron helped me find a lovely 2BR at the Carol Apartments in Bellevue & I am extremely pleased thus far! Ron is accessible, friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Very glad this is the apartment I chose!

I lived in a Prudential Realty apartment in Shadyside (The Brett and Thames Manor) for years. The buildings were immaculate and the manager went above and beyond for all of my needs. It was a pleasure living there. I only moved because I purchased my own home. The staff at Prudential was also very professional and friendly.

SLUMLORDS and ROACHES! Do NOT rent from them. They take advantage of those of lesser financial means. If zero stars were an option, I would have chosen such. I lived i. their Brentwood Arms building located on Brownsville Rd in Brentwood, PA, for two years out of financial necessity. The building s basement would flood consistently, the coin operated washers & dryers hardly ever worked meaning trips to the laundry mat, and the building became infected with pests!!! I was fortune enough to have a change in my financial situation and was able to move out recently. Upon my move-out, I cleaned the apartment personal AND hired professionals. Prudential KEPT a significant portion of my security deposit for absurd reasons. It is such a shame. They are taking advantage of those that cannot afford to live elsewhere.

Lived in Penn State towers in Indiana PA. It was a pretty sketchy place to live. My floor often smelled like someone was cooking drugs and the landlord had to enter my apartment once a month to spray for bugs, so that should tell you something. Also, lost all 500 dollars of my security deposit even though I left the place relatively how I found it. Pretty much your typical college housing.

I rented from this company for 1 year back in 2016. Rent was always paid on time and I got most of my security deposit back with no damage to the carpeting, even with having two cats. Four years later I am trying to return as a tenant. This time, because my credit is bad, they refuse to rent to me. I meet the income requirements and had a cosigner with a 700 credit score, but they're not willing to work with me in any way shape or form because i have some credit cards that went to collections. I have years of rental references, including rental companies that reported positive history on my credit report. Prudential Realty doesn't report rental history to the credit bureaus, so if you don't report any history, you have no right in using that data to make a decision. This company has zero interest in helping you and has no sympathy. I get it's a business, but we were previous good paying tenants. You'd think that paying rent on time for a year would hold more weight than a few dumb credit cards. Side note: the apartment we rented was infested with roaches since day 1. We combatted them with cold air and always leaving the lights on, but renters beware.

Their team is extremely professional. They re knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

This is one of the WORST realty management companies to ever exist. If you are a parent of a student of IUP it would be in your best interest to never rent anything from these people. My son lived in one of their "units" last semester. He and his roommate were robbed twice, nothing was ever done about it. When the property manager was asked to look at the video tapes from the cameras at the door we received no response. Then two days later they are removing the cameras from the building. This is because they were "dummy" cameras and never worked to begin with. Also when he moved in the place was DISGUSTING!! The carpet was NEVER cleaned, the bathroom and kitchen were both vile. This was noted in the lease before he even moved in. However when he moved out this "company" sends us a bill for $800.00 to replace the already nasty carpet and the proceeded to tell us that they had to clean the bathroom, kitchen and fridge and they were charging us for it!! WHAT!! We cleaned everything in this unit and left it better than we found it, which was not hard to do since it was vile to begin with. My own mother cleaned the bathroom on her hands and knees!
When the second robbery happened, I sent a certified letter to the realty company and the president of the college. I did not expect a response from the college, I was just making it known to them what happened to one of their student in their town at their school. But the realty company I expected to hear from on such a serious matter. You know what I heard, crickets. NOTHING!! The people at this waste of a company did not even have the professional courtesy to contact me in regards to these incidents. This company is terrible!! There units are disgusting, the people who work there do not know the first thing about how to do their job and they are a rip off.
Best part....I am a property manager for a living, in care of over 500 homes, and would never treat anyone in any of our properties with the utter disrespect and unprofessional behavior as these people.

-If you looking for freezing place then this is the right one.
-If you looking for place where you can see crickets in your life then this is right place.
-If you looking for nightmare experience with the maintenance then yes this right place.
-Dirty apartment entrance, and closet then welcome to Castle Shannon Prudential...
-If you looking to hear every move from tyour upper neighbors even the pipes sounds then yes here every conversation heard between the neighbors...

I'm not quite sure why everyone is leaving such bad reviews, but for the past 6 months my experience has been good. Chi has been great with communication from the start of me looking at my property to even after. The only complaint that I have is that I filled out a sheet stating what needed attention, and I had to reach back out to them about two weeks later to have it addressed. The hot water tank would only give you 5 min of hot water while showering, but as soon as I called it into the company, Chi called back within an hour and had an appointment that day to have someone come look at it. Ended up needing to be replace and was done in less than a week. Other than that everything else has been good.

A fantastic team at Prudential. They attend to all their clients needs.

No courtesy, called about an apt I see if it was still available & left msg but got no call back. Now that see the ratings & reviews, it doesn't looked like a decent place to live in after all.

They are the worst ever company they do not know how to respect the customers they are really terrible

Their agent Brad Ring was unprofessional and horrible to work with. Not only was he inattentive, he wasn t willing to help during the process even though it s his job to do so- when I was asked to submit some specific documentation, I was confused and asked him to clarify, and what I got in return was ask your accountant. I called another agent, and was told it was a form I needed to fill out. Now, why did it have to get to the point where I needed to talk to another person doing the same job as Brad s to tell me what I specifically needed to do? They gave me the run-around, lying about the company s plan for reselling the property, hence, pausing of leasing activities instead of just telling me they didn t want me in the first place. After reading all these other reviews about the horrible management style, I m definitely glad it didn t work out for me.

Ron and Jim are awesome. They've helped me with everything I've needed from them.

Prudential has a great team of individuals. They listened to all of my needs and brought me an excellent place! I highly recommend them!
