**WARNING the service department is full of RUDE and DISHONEST CROOKS**

My daughters 2010 Hyundai Accent wouldnt drive over 20 mph. Went to reputable local shop they stated it was the catalytic converter and that there were no leaks and they being honest told me to take it to the dealership because it was covered under the federal emissions laws.

We dropped it off at Wesley Chapel Hyundai and Ed in service called stated that his tech diagnosed it as 4 quarts low on transmission fluid (lie #1) and it needed to be flushed. Also was told that the car was California emissions and wasn't covered (lie #2).

When I called Ed in service back he was very rude and stated that I had no idea what I was talking about and his tech was correct. After Ed continuously insulted me I asked that the GM call me and left a voicemail but never got a call back.

Finally got a call from Jay who stated he was a service manager. He was even ruder than Ed. Would not even listen to me but only talk over me. They would not let me take the car without paying a $120 diagnosis fee for a fake diagnosis. I had to call Hyundai Corporate. They contacted Wesley Chapel Hyundai and instructed them to waive the fee.

I then took it to Brandon Hyundai without telling them my story at Wesley Chapel and they diagnosed it as the bottom of the front catalytic convertor had melted and broken up and caused debris to completely clog the back catalytic convertor. They ordered the part and it will be fixed on Thursday.
