Loved it. Went to MFF with some buddies here last year. So many good furries. And the staff was all so exited to have us here. I guess we bring in the big bucks because everyone was so hospitable.

Very nice hotel and very big. Nice place to stay when in chicago. The rooms are comfy and so are the beds. Staff and service were great. One thing that is great about it is that it is wheelchair accessible so that people in wheelchair could come and go. The rooms had a flat screen tv which was very nice after a very long drive. They have valet parking so that was very helpful. The showers were great and the hotel looked very nice.

You have to pay $30 to park over night.... $40 if you want valet. No refrigerator or microwave in the rpoms
You have to use the communal microwave located on your floor. Beds are hard as rocks. Too much $ for what they off3r. Plus the ice bucket we had was full of moldy fur covered food. I will never go there again.

Was a very nice clean place. Check in was fast and easy as well as check out. Had a bunch to eat. The buffet downstairs was phenomenal. Was in rosemont illinois but close enough to the city to go there whenever.

I was on the road for a week with my trucker husband and was looking for a lavish stay in a nice hotel. The nicest hotel I could think of being the Hyatt. I had big plans to veg out, order room service, order laundry service and enjoy a nice comfortable bed. The room was small, it didn't feel exceptionally clean, there was no room service, the bed was uncomfortable and they could accommodate my laundry needs because I git there to late and was leaving too early. I have had better stays at a Motel 6. What a waste of my kid free time and my money. I wish I could get the time and money back.

Stayed here on United's dime as a result of a flight getting delayed beyond the point of making a connection. We were in a tiny wing that I'm assuming is reserved for such things, and as such I'm sure it's not representative of a typical room there. That being said, the room was reasonably clean and modern, and they gladly provided us toiletry items that were in our inaccessible luggage. The main lobby is beautiful, and there's a nice 24/7 cafe. Given that I didn't pay, I can't make a value judgement, but I'm sure you could do worse near O'Hare.

I'm giving the hotel 3.5 stars, the RED Bar would get a 1.5.

The design of the entry point is artistic and draws you in with its concrete and vine. It is a show stopper. Sadly, that aesthetic doesn't follow you beyond the entry. The hallways on the actual room floors, and room in which we stayed, LOOKS outdated. Neither matches the awe inspiring focal point of the Hyatt with their odd red/yellow/green patterns and mismatching furniture types but the rooms are very clean and offer quite modern in amenities as far as coffee machine and tv go.

We stayed in one of the Executive Suites and for the amount we paid, you would think it would be an actual suite. It was nothing more than a generic room that you would find at any other hotel but with access to the Recency Club. The room was not the posh experience I had been sold on, which I won't lie, bummed me out a bit. I only get one vacation a year with my chaotic career and I had hoped to make this one as grand as possible. I splurged on the room thinking it would be glamorous and almost movie like, as it was I was lead to expect.

The Regency Club does offer a nice breakfast spread, but if you have food allergies, as I do, it is very dangerous. The same pair of serving utensils are used for multiple bread items, many containing nuts. They serve fish in a dish the is near the other meat, which on two of the days shared the same pair of tongs. Unfortunately there isn't a way to request food that may not have been cross contaminated that I could find. The women hosting Breakfast were kind and apologetic, but it does leave very little to eat as far as options go.

Be prepared to pay for parking. It doesn't matter how much you paid for your room, parking is around $35 a day I believe. We flew in for the comic convention and paid $25 with the convention discount.

The RED bar, the Friday of the comic convention, was packed to the point where we sat on a small stuffed chair and ate from an ottoman, in spite of the fact that there was an entire section that could have sat all of us eating in similar situations. The section was closed and no reason was given as to why they wouldn't open it. We had to eat just above floor level while people bummed and moved around us. Everyone in the same position all requested to be sat in the table section, but was denied. The cost of the food does not match the quality. The burgers are bland and flavorless, the fries are basic. The steak was not at all seasoned well and was decent at best. The sides are generic. You would be better suited to walk to the restaurants three blocks away. It will save you money, give you bigger portions, and give you a seat at a table. I suggest the Five Roses Pub. We ate dinner there twice.

Those are really the only issues that I had. The bed was fantastic and so unbelievably comfortable. There is a walk way directly into the convention center which allows for comfortable and safe traveling to and fro. The staff is all so kind and positive, without it feeling forced or fake.

Very disappointed...a major hotel such as this and the main restaurant is closed at 530pm??? Have to eat from the bar restaurant with a very very limited and unappealing menu. Being told it's closed because their occupancy level is down...poor way to run a business!

I really liked staying here. It is huge! However, once you are in your room you don't even realize you are in something so big. The room felt more like a condo. I was very impressed with the breakfast options and the friendly smiling staff whether it was restaurant or concierge. Would stay here again.

Here for the annual MFF convention and it couldn't be better. Lots of people attending yet the staff is still very courteous and helpful. They are even getting into the idea of the con and are taking pics. Definitely recommend, professional and personable.

Such a great place for a convention, the dinner buffet was such a great price Too! Sadly the switched to instant potatoes towards the end of our meal and it was gritty and gross. Waiters do suck at keeping your drinks filled but overall a great experience.

Nice hotel next to Donald Stephen's Convention Center. Rooms are clean with mini fridge and a large flat screen. Red bar has ok beer selection. Pedway to convention center, which you can also take almost all the way to the entertainment square (must walk through a parking garage part of the way). If you are a light sleeper get a room not facing the airport (white noise machine in room helps some)

Noisy place due to airplanes. Not for having good rest. Typical American breakfast, poor bread selection, no cold cut section. Disapponting Hyatt compared to other ones like Hyatt Rio.

Helpful staff, REALLY comfortable bed. The fitness center was really nice. Restaurant food was spendy, but good. Very nice, fancy hotel. Walkable to various eateries and shopping, easy access to convention center.

Stayed here for a mini vacation to Florida. Staff was very friendly, rooms are very clean. Only reason I'm giving this hotel a 4 star is because it's VERY loud. Every airplane that either lands or takes off you can hear if your a light sleeper like me, try to find a hotel farther away from airport.

Had the unfortunate experience of a canceled flight but luckily the airline sent me to Hyatt Regency O'Hare. I felt very welcome, friendly staff and a very nice room.

The area around the hotel is about as boring and uninspiring as it can get, I guess that's expected for an airport hotel :)

I stayed here for a conference. The rooms are clean enough. Beds are not very comfortable, especially the pillows. The TV in my room was gigantic, and I was able to use their Chromecast app to stream shows from my laptop, so that was cool.

Unfortunately I had a pretty bad experience with the service at the front desk. I had flown into O'Hare and had left my ID back at the other airport. I had my ID overnighted to the hotel. I went to the front desk before it was scheduled to arrive to mention that I was expecting a package that would require a signature. The clerk assured me that it would be signed for on my behalf and that I could come pick it up. I then received a notification from USPS stating that my package wasn't delivered because signature was refused. I called the post office and they said that the hotel clerk supervisor refused to sign for it. I went to the hotel front desk to ask what had happened, and the clerk said "wow that's odd, we usually sign for things for people... Sorry." I had to spend about $40 taking an Uber to the post office so that I could fly home. It was a pretty frustrating experience. If the policy is to not sign for packages, the staff should all be aware of the policy.
