This is our second time staying here. We stayed when it was a Hyatt and as the Hilton. The rooms are ok. Nothing to rave about. The carpet was stained and the furniture is worn but over clean and comfortable. The restaurant had good food but not overly kid friendly. Our reason for visiting was for the location near the aquarium and the neat park on Penns Landing. The location is the best part and the views. We stayed in a Junior suite and it wasn't much better than the regular room we stayed in the previous year. We booked it because of the separate bedroom option because of traveling with kids but weren't overly impressed though two bathrooms were convenient. I would stay here again due to the convenient location but it wasn't a real family friendly hotel.

We all know that the Hilton Hotels are nice but the room I stayed in was not boss enough for me so I couldn't complete my stay felt closterfobic however I have had better experiences at the Hilton Hotels so I'm going to let this one slide

The Good: The rooms were clean, and spacious enough to spread out. Staff was helpful and friendly. Restaurant was decent. Executive lounge had a decent breakfast and lots of room. There are also nut and candy dispensers (nice little treat).

The Bad: The rooms are badly in need of maintenance or renovation, especially the showers/drains. The water valve didn't seem to have proper temperature control and drained very slowly. The second room was worse than the first in that regard.

The Ugly: Did you catch that I wrote "rooms"? I had to switch rooms. The staff was very understanding and helpful and for that reason, I added a star back in. Both the rooms had a warped upper corner, and were undersized for the door jamb. This allowed a great deal of light to bleed into the room. The first room was really bad, but the second room was okay after some creativeness on my part to block the light. Both rooms really lacked adequate sounds dampening. I could here the guests in the next room in both the rooms I stayed in. After moving to the second room, I was awoken at 1:30 am by very loud guests outside my room. I've never been woken up by adult guests in a hotel before. Not the hotel's fault though, but proper door size and sound proofing would have helped. They are currently upgrading the locks to use proximity cards, which is good, but they probably should have put that money into fixing the issues I mentioned. Also, the parking is expensive with valet parking being $12 more. I would recommend not driving if you can avoid it. All in all, it was a disappointing stay, saved only by the staff's helpfulness and desire to resolve the issues as best they could. However, my sleep--the thing I need the hotel to be the best at--wasn't very good. Before staying here again, I'll ask if the issues mentioned above have been resolved.

Had a wonderful family dinner on New Years Eve at the Penns Landing Hilton until the rude woman with short gray hair kicked us out of the lobby while we were waiting for valet to bring our car around. It was 18 degrees out and she kicked all three of us out (11 year old step-son & mother-in-law).

So we stayed here twice in the past 2 months and we wont go back again. The views from the suite rooms are phenomenal but the service has been horrible. The first stay the whole building did not have hot water for several hours. Our second stay we found that there were card key entry issues for several hours so we needed to go to front desk anytime we wanted to go in our rooms.

Great hotel, walking distance from tons of fantastic history. I changed hotels last minute from a different Hilton (nothing wrong with that one) just to be closer to a morning work meeting, and it was a great decision. Excellent business stay, or for a vacation.

Stayed this last weekend. One of the worse hilton properties. Hotel is old and rundown. No one wore masks. Elevator had multiple families. No covid-19 procedures enforced. Hotel was a party zone so much noice at night. Halls and elevators smelled like marijuana.

Don't waste your money. Pay a bit extra and stay at the logan or double tree downtown.

I've stayed here before, the hotel is modern and offers good views of Penns Landing and the water front. This time I used the Hilton Hhonors app to book my stay and as part of the app to select a specific room. Upon arrival the room wasn't ready and we were given a lower quality room with no explanation other than that housekeeping wasn't able to clean it in time despite a 3pm check. Despite the service on this visit the hotel is modern and clean. It is located close to south st and is a short cab/uber to the stadiums.

Pls make sure that u do a walk through before u rent ur car from Avis. The car we rented was damaged I didn't notice until I left the garage, we had to go back 2 Avis 2 report it. How they didn't notice a cracked windshield is beyond me next time I'll make sure to record the entire car inside and out b4 driving off the lot. We could've bn charged a lot of money for damages we didn't do.

I had a really nice stay at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing. Any short fall I experienced was taken care of pretty well by most of the staff. You will always get someone that just doesn't want to step up and go out of their way. Good thing I only had one guy that I felt wasn't on board with their level of hospitality. The view from my room was spectacular on the city side. Everyone should check it out. You can just go for yourself!

Bathroom smells like mildew. Not worthy of a "4 star hotel". Furniture is worn out and tired. Care not taken in cleaning. Entire hotel is a bit run down. Like a lot have said, 3 elevators to get to your room from the $35/day attached parking garage. Staff was very nice. A really decent cup of coffee at the cafe. Great view. If you are not a clean freak, this is the place for you. Pictures of Room 914 for reference.

Great views. Awesome location. Friendly staff. But why my French doors to the bathroom have a 2 in gap whole, right to the bedroom? For my bf to hear my bubble guts from the long drive?!?! No privacy.. no bueno... Hilton? Pffff

Underwelming. Good location. Walking distance to Old City, Society Hill and even Center City. Room needs work, I expect much better from the brand for the price. The room needs updating and the shower flooded. Service was not up to par.

Every event I have photographed at this hotel over many years has been excellent! My sister is one of the three keynote speakers at a conference there and she loves the accommodations! I had interactions with the concierge, two different valets and I believe a lady that was probably their boss! She was superb, had great energy and finger whistled for a guest to grab a ride into the city! Keep up the good work #HiltonPhiladelphia!

Decent space. The hotel is a bit dated and could use an upgrade. Location is okay, not really easily walkable into Center City but it has easy access to I-95 if getting to and from the highway is of importance to you.

Stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms checked out this morning room 618 was city view the other was river view. Went downstairs to request one soap receptionist with glasses brown hair white lady said no we only get the one soap in our room... I also advised her she needed to slide key card & signature card under plastic thing so we wouldn't be inconvenienced having too squeez out hand throw plastic covid thing to grab everything she needs to put it threw

The hotel accommodations are beautiful and the location is excellent, however the restaurant staff is very inexperienced handling soy allergies and has assured me on several occasions that food is safe for to eat which is not actually safe. For anyone with a food allergy, I would strongly recommend eating anywhere but here.

It's a Lovely Hotel, has a cute little bar with outdoor seating patio for drinks. There's a lovely Ballroom upstairs for special events and occasions. It's also not too far from South Street in order to attend other nighttime venues.
