We experienced the worse customer service today at check out from a man named TJ. He was super rude and acted like he was "above" us. All we wanted was to check out but we had payment issues. The manager and Lauren or Laura was super nice to help us. TJ was the complete opposite. I experienced someone else who was a bellhop being rude to us when we asked for a trolly. He said in a stern voice "CALL US AND WE COME UP" kind of strict. I want to give this more stars bc everything was good besides customer service.

Wonderful location. Comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Shopping malls and restaurants very close by. Casino not too far away. Fantastic staff!! Perfect if your conference is held here. Airport not far away. Metro walking distance. I love it here!! 2 thumbs up and 5 stars!!!

We used this as a park-fly-sleep option for a long trip with a very late return from overseas. Shuttle to/from airport was prompt on both ends of our trip - only about 15 minutes from hotel to drop-off at second terminal stop with a shuttle full of 25 people. Parking was not covered, but appeared to be well maintained through the winter weather. Hotel itself is nice. Took a bit of time to figure out where reception and shuttles were from the side entrance into the hotel (the only way in from the parking lot). On return, room was very pleasant with a large king bed and huge TV and above-average bathroom. Given price of our park-fly-sleep deal, will very much consider again.

My room is very nice and clean. We can sometimes hear the people in the room next to us but it is not unbearable. The lobby and staff are very nice and my meal at the Red Bar was great!

Great hotel. Proximity to the airport as well as the convention center is great, especially the sky walk from the hotel to the convention center. Room sizes are ok, all rooms come with a 65" TV. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly.

My fiance and I reserved a room for this hotel to follow our wedding reception. We arrived finding our specified room was unavailbe and were upgraded to a better quality suite. Our receptionist Phillip made our stay!

Room was very small. Upon our return from an outing we found the only bar in the hotel was closing at 12AM midnight. So much for a nightcap. It was a Saturday night the bar was filled with patrons and we were told that there was no bartender working. So much for a highline hotel. Next time I'll stay at a Hilton.

We have stayed here many times in the past 28 years for work related seminars or to attend functions. This time we were very disappointed with the quality of our room. The blanket had some stains and also had holes in it, and the door wouldn't lock from the inside. A mechanic came to check out the door lock and said it would take longer than expected to fix the lock so we were finally moved to another room close to midnight. We had to repack our bags, move at that late hour to another room on a different floor. We were offered two certificates for free coffee for our inconvenience. Neither of us even drinks coffee. This morning we left our room at 10 a.m. and when we returned at 4:30 p.m., our room had not yet been cleaned. It was not a good experience.

Really nice hotel. This hotel seems to go up and beyond. Came here for a convention and the workers on staff were very knowledgeable of, not only hotel information, but the event as well.

The room was small, but nice. We stayed in one of the cylindrical towers. TV was huge. Not sure about the concrete and vines as decorations, but the lobby was very nice. The lobby and bar staff were very nice. Rooms came with a sound machine if you didn't want to hear the planes.

Everything thing was so over priced! Mediocre rooms at a 5 star price, $70 for a small tolerable lunch for 2, horrible tap water and they have the nerve to charge $5.50 for a bottle of Aquafina! Cool elevator though.

Great convention hotel. If you want quiet, you want the "Executive Wing" - that's the addition and is furthest from the hotel lobby and events. Staying IN the main part of the hotel, most of the rooms are off the atrium. This is a giant echo chamber, and the rooms can be noisy because of that. The tower rooms are interesting but there are no bathtubs - only smaller showers. You DO NOT want the main floor of the tower rooms. These are extremely noisy because all sounds carry from the parking lot and smoking area that are directly beneath those rooms. The rest of the tower rooms are quiet, but access is via stairs only.

Good hotel. I only stay Hyatt and this one is usually great. However, the executive wing is terrible! If they try to put you in a room in the executive wing, ask for another. The rooms in that wing are very dated and not as nice as the rest of the hotel.

Excellent hotel with accommodating staff

Our visit to this hotel for a family weekend got off to a rocky start but thankfully it improved. The shuttle from ORD took a VERY long time to arrive. For reference, we saw the shuttles from the Loews and Marriotts two to three times by the time the Hyatt shuttle arrived. And when it arrived, it reeked of smoke.

Thankfully when we checked into the actual property, things improved. The property is beautiful, check in is a breeze and the Hyatt app gives you specific directions from the lobby to your room. Nice touch. (Definitely get the World of Hyatt app for your smart phone.)

The rooms are great: beds are very comfortable and clean. TV was HUGE. Ample closet and dresser space, very nice desk usable by up to two people and PLENTY of charging ports. Bathroom was pristine and the spa products were nicer than those I've used at similar hotels.

We interacted with many staff members during our stay and everyone was top notch.

Would definitely stay again the next time I'm in ORD.

For the record, the shuttle ride back to the airport was much better. Very efficient and no smoke smell.

The hotel location is very accessible from the airport and the city. Parking (even for our large professional event was available). The hotel bar was very crowded, but mostly due to the event.

Apologies for the review a couple weeks ago. I was one of the ones who thought this thing could burn itself out without taking into account basic human stupidity and herd mentality. That being said, the only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because there's a wet bar in the rooms instead of an empty fridge. Decent room to stay in, comfortable bed. I was there during Anime Central 2013

Hotel is located just short ride from the airport. Or one stop by metro from the ORD. Metro station is 5minutes walk away. Hotel could be noisy, but nothing too bad. Room has a huge TV and everything you might need. Internet is free. Breakfast buffet is nice, just no youghurts. Good choice, would stay again.

Very nice hotel although they lost stars do to the customer service. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and not helpful. She walked away when we were speaking to her and when asking directions towards our room she became irritable and short with her answers. The customer service alone is why I would not come back

The staff at Hyatt Recency O'hare are always courteous and helpful. The are pleasant to talk to as well. We love staying here. The rooms are always clean! The beds are made so a quarter can be bounced off of them and the pillows are so soft. A great night's sleep is always had here. It is close to many local restaurants, so whatever we want to eat is within 5 minutes.

I love their Park/Sleep/Fly package, have done it several times. So convenient. Staff is great, very helpful. Rooms are great. I don't eat here every time I stay but both restaurants are very good too. I plan to stay here every time I fly before noon.

One of the best hotels around O'Hare. The staff is very kinda and the rooms are out of this world. Over the past four years, the TV have seem to get larger and larger.

If you need a hotel due to a missed or canceled flight, or a long layover, it is one of the best.

The Hyatt Regency O'Hare is a large hotel with plenty of amenities. This hotel is good for business or family stays. There is a business center, gym, and other amenities that are typical of a large hotel. The building is modern and has a nice atrium with the elevators in the center. The hotel is conviently close to Chicago O'Hare Airport. The staff provided friendly service. The rooms are a bit dated in design but furnished with new decor. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. A hotel shuttle is provided to transport customers to/from airport.

Rooms were very basic. Bathroom didn't have a fan at all. The restaurant is a basic, over priced buffet.

I was there for a conference that was in the hotel and we were not treated very well by the staff. Amenities like coffee and snacks were brought out late and even then put out slowly.

I'm glad our conference is moving to another location for next year.

THEY CHARGED ME $4 for chapstick! I paid $250 for a room... didn't think it was necessary for them to screw me on a single stick of lip balm.

It was alright. For the hotel it is I figured they fitness center would be nicer. There are only a couple places to eat right nearby. Location is great for the airport, but lacks in other areas. I was not overly impressed with any aspect of my room of services provided. Staff was great, which is why I'm giving a third star.

I read the reviews for this hotel prior to booking and decided to book because of the suspiciously low prices and great review. I have to agree with the reviews, the toilets do sound like they're exploding when flushed and the hotel is REALLY nice even though it is not that expensive. I highly recommend this hotel, the location is not ideal if you have no business with the Airport but the city center is about a 30 minute drive. The sound of the airplanes was not a big deal and did not bother me, barely noticeable.

The Hyatt O'Hare was a great hotel for business. The executive wing in particular was full of quiet, clean and spacious rooms. The cleaning crew was prompt and courteous.

While good for business, there didn't appear to be a lot happening near the hotel away from its expensive bar and restaurant. Late night options are thusly limited. The 24 hour store in particular was expensive, featuring $16 bags of popcorn.

I'd give this hotel a meh rating. I've stayed at amazing Hyatts. This one is ok. Also, the front desk was inattentive on check-in and out. I requested the breakfast option, then when I checked out, the other young lady at the desk said I didn't. And she didn't try to rectify the issue or anything. And I really didn't have the energy to argue, so I stared at her and said ok. Pretty bad experience. But I just won't stay at this specific one. And to be honest the room was ok, the bathroom was TINY and dated. The breakfast buffet is worth the add-on in my opinion-that was the only highlight.
