This Hyatt is pretty amazing. The restaurant and huge and offer great choices. The staff are all very friend and helpful. Not only that but you are right across the street from the convention center and the hotel even connects to it.

Nice hotel, reasonable pricing. Close to some good restaurants and a stones throw away from the airport. Continuous shuttle service to and from airport
Fantastic venue for a convention. A ton of space, professional staff and lovely atmosphere. Limited meal options though, and the reservation process was a complete nightmare.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well equipped, and the hotel offer white noise machines and eat plugs to help you sleep as the hotel is right next to the flight path, also the air con in the room is very loud too. Another negative is that there's no pool, but there is a gym.
I've frequented this hotel for events and conventions over the years. It's a fairly nice property as far as quality and amenities go. There are however some design quirks that really show when the place gets crowded. There aren't enough elevators for when the place is at capacity with an active group. The hallways getting from the main atrium into the 4 silos on the corners are pretty narrow as well as the one going to the sky bridges to the convention center across the street. The bar / restaurant on the second floor is decent and has hotel prices as expected. Hotel is walkable to transit though when the weather isn't nice it's not the most pleasant walk.
So far everything is great. The room is very nice and the service has been great so far. This Hyatt also has the best fitness room that I've seen in a hotel!
Presidential suite had holes in carpet. The toilet seat was broken and the bathroom door handle fell off. The refrigerator in the bar didn't work properly and there was no microwave in the room. Once again for a normal room some of this wouldn't be acceptable...for the presidential suite this constitutes not coming back.
Good hotel and friendly staff room are clean and there is good facilities inside example big tv ,USB charger next to bed ,coffee maker ,bear fast was not bad but limited choice in general was good stay and I recommended.
Everyone is always very friendly here. The rooms are nice, although this year we were placed in the executive wing, which is quite a walk. The people in the room next door were very loud, even at 2am.
Beautiful hotel. We had a great customer service experience. Our room was really nice & clean for the most part (the bathroom faucet looked like it had been sprayed but then never wiped/polished.) The food we ordered from Perks was tasty, yet on the pricey side. I appreciated the bell hop gentleman helping us bring our luggage to our room. The aesthetics of the hotel, especially the grandiose lobby, were beautiful and rather impressive.
My husband and I were there for a Convention in December 2014, and even with an incident that caused a total evacuation of the hotel for several hours in the middle of the night, the staff was fantastic. I have mobility issues as well as a support animal with me and they were very attentive and made sure that my husband, myself AND my cat were taken care of while being escorted out, including getting me a wheelchair. The restaurant was fantastic in both quality, and value. We were never disappointed with any of the meals we had there, and ate there almost exclusively. We will absolutely be making all our reservations here for any and all future events!
The service was nice and professional, the room was great and relaxing. The only problem was the bell hops. If they could have helped carry lugage from our car in the parking garage instead of at the front of the building, it would have been more helpful. I have never has a hotel deny me this before.
If you want a place close to the airport and or plan to hit the convention, its a good place. But, it is a little pricy all things considered. ****Warning**** Don't sleep on the upper floor, you hear the planes all night.
I had a nice stay here, good walking distance to the mall and various restaurants. The hotel employees I interacted with with were friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant experience with frequent running shuttle access to the airport. I would stay here again if I were visiting Chicago!
The hotel, large enough, the lobby, similar to the hotels in Las Vegas (without the games or the slot machines) very spacious, the staff very friendly; they speak up to 15 languages. The gym a bit small for the size of the hotel. The hotel has a shuttle to the airport. It is 3 blocks from the subway and in 40 minutes you reach the center; Nearby there is a mall with a shuttle every 20 minutes.
This legendary hotel easily lived up to expectations. It has been around since travel was a true experience and not today's mass market. Our room was spacious and clean. The open air atrium was nice and probably the precursor and influence for some modern chains. My only complaint was the highway robbery in the Perks store for a $9.50 canned Moscow Mule, and the mandatory hotel kitchen pizza for a child's birthday party in one of the meeting rooms. The pizza was about on par with an elementary school cafeteria. Other than those 2 things, we loved the hotel.
The location in this hotel is close to the expressway, shopping and dining. The rooms were nice however the water in the shower did not get warm. Three staff was welcoming and friendly.
I came here with my friends to attend Acen. The staff here are both friendly and welcoming. All the bathrooms are maintained constantly and are as clean as possible.
Lobby was incredibly nice looking. I had a package delivered to the hotel and the front desk employee was very helpful and offered to have the package sent up to my room since they couldn't access it immediately. Hotel room was clean, though air felt very dry.
Small rooms. My room faced the road and it was quite noisy, especially due to the airplanes. Otherwise, the facility is upscale and well mantained. I did not use any of the restaurants.
There's a quality that one only sees in a Hyatt Recency; a solid feeling, a fit and finish usually reserved for 5 star hotels. Well designed, updated, clean rooms with a masculine elegance.
The staff are attentative without being effusive; professional and dignified, with a sense of purpose and pride of place. (think of Alfred of Wayne Manor)
In a world of cookie-cutter corporate hotel chains, the people at Hyatt succeed at raising the bar. Well done.
It was pretty good. The delivery service was great and the staff is super friendly. A coupleb of them helped me locate the microwave the sadly is not in the bedrooms.
I attended a professional seminar there and thought it was adequate for the size of attendees. The lobby and center of the hotel is beautiful and very open and has lots of places to sit and meet. The little business areas were nice to get work done with tables that have electrical outlets.
The bathrooms seem less modern than they should be. For a social event, the lobby noises echo all the way up the building, and can be heard while in bed, even at night.
Hotel is pretty. Staff is polite and friendly. They have a bar and coffee shop and a restaurant that delivers to your room(the food is good). I like how you can check out on your tv and drop your keys in the box at the gate. Overnight parking is a lot for overnight guests.
Stayed here on a voucher from United because I missed my flight due to their problems. Very quiet room for being so close to the airport. Good night's sleep and free shuttle to O'Hare every 15 minutes.
A very busy hotel with people coming and going all the time. The staff is very friendly and helps with whatever you need. I attended a convention and everything was listed where it was and the staff was able to direct me to places as well when I couldn't find the location. The rooms are super cozy too. It is a bit on the pricier side to stay, but the convenience and quality is worth it.
I thought the service was excellent. The room was very clean and nice, although the bathroom was small (I stayed in the executive wing). Overall a very nice experience.
My initial room upon checking in was not clean. I was moved immediately. I was impressed that the head of housekeeping called me to personally apologize for the inconvenience and to ensure that the new room met my expectations.
Absolutely gorgeous hotel. My only complaints are that our room's AC didn't seem to work properly and there was no restaurant to eat at inside the hotel between 2 and 5 pm.
I stayed here for about 5 week. I have little bites all over feet and legs. Reported to manager and nothing was done. I found out that they do not change the linen here daily or weekly you must request them to do so. I suppose you must be prepared for this anywhere even if you pay $200+ for a room plus parking. I was very displeased after my stay here.
