Em Review of Hyatt Regency O'Hare

I stayed here for a conference. The rooms are clean enough. Beds are not very comfortable, especially the pillows. The TV in my room was gigantic, and I was able to use their Chromecast app to stream shows from my laptop, so that was cool.
Unfortunately I had a pretty bad experience with the service at the front desk. I had flown into O'Hare and had left my ID back at the other airport. I had my ID overnighted to the hotel. I went to the front desk before it was scheduled to arrive to mention that I was expecting a package that would require a signature. The clerk assured me that it would be signed for on my behalf and that I could come pick it up. I then received a notification from USPS stating that my package wasn't delivered because signature was refused. I called the post office and they said that the hotel clerk supervisor refused to sign for it. I went to the hotel front desk to ask what had happened, and the clerk said "wow that's odd, we usually sign for things for people... Sorry." I had to spend about $40 taking an Uber to the post office so that I could fly home. It was a pretty frustrating experience. If the policy is to not sign for packages, the staff should all be aware of the policy.
