Room didn't look like it had been used in a long time. Very dusty furniture. Moustache (??) Hairs all over second bathroom sink. Coffee pot was very dirty. Three star rating in that the staff was friendly and professional.

Good rooms. However, check-in was at 3 and our room wasn't ready for another hour and a half! We waited in their regency lounge, but it was still disappointing. Staff was helpful and courteous.
Will probably find another place to stay next time I'm in St Louis though...

The view was beautiful, the picture is from the window in our room. It was clean and comfortable. Loved the layout. The staff was soooo helpful. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because parking isn't included in the cost of the room. Now, you can choose to park yourself for 30 a day, but the lot was full, so after driving around the block and not being able to find anywhere else (we're not from the area, and I wasn't expecting to need to find a place to park or I'd have done more research) we paid the 40 dollars for valet, which brought the total for our room up to 300 dollars. For one night. Which is just.... outrageous to me.

Staying at the hotel for a Fraternity conference. The hotel is hospitable and has accommodated us extremely well. Rooms are comfortable and for service is excellent. The hotel was peaceful and a great location for visiting attractions around STL. Would definitely recommend for any occasion.

Got shoved in a room with a 12 ft conference table and no windows with just my husband and myself could hear the clinging of the elevators our room was right next too. Couldn't move us because they were "full". Self park was full and only option was valet which was ridiculously expensive. Not how I imagined spending my anniversary. Otherwise room was clean.

Parking costs $40, had to park 2 blocks away, didnt clean our whole room, left behind used wash cloth from previous guest, no pool, they where doing valet parking right in front of the door so you couldnt get in or out easily.

As a frequent business traveler, I was definitely underwhelmed with this pricy hotel. The lobby and decor is lovely and the valet guys were fantastic and super nice but that's about all I can brag about.

The entry light in my room flickered, on and off (mostly off) during my entire stay and the toilet ran incessantly. I called engineering to fix it but they apparently wouldn't enter my room because of the do not disturb, despite my giving permission. They finally came two days before my departure. Also, I had an extremely unpleasant experience when I requested laundry service. The service was supposed to be provided daily, except Sunday, and as long as you called down before 9 in the morning, it would be delivered same day. I called down on a Friday at 8:15 and the operator said she'd send someone up. Thankfully, I had a meeting that day that kept me late at the hotel because by 9 am, no one had come so I took my laundry down to the front desk. A surly young woman informed me that she didn't think they were running that day because of some personal issue. She called the head bellman over, who advised they were running but they'd already come. I explained that no one had come to pick up my laundry and as my business trip was unexpectedly extended, I really needed my laundry. I asked what could be done. He called and no one could confirm if the driver had already left. When I again, very politely, explained that I really needed to figure it out before leaving for work, he said "look lady, we contract this out, we don't do your laundry. I'm checking on it, no need to get all worked up. If I can't do it, do you just want me to put it back in your room?" I was shocked by his behavior and disrespect. I quietly agreed and left so I didn't become as rude as he was! I immediately began planning to move hotels.

When you're paying this much for a hotel that says they provide a service, I don't believe it's too much to expect that they actually provide that service, or if there is a service interruption to advise guests ahead of time! His attitude and behavior was uncalled for, especially since I never raised my voice, became rude, nothing to deserve his response. You can bet I passed on my experience to my colleagues so they can make a different choice of hotel.

An immaculate facility, tons of amenities and fine dining/drink options within the hotel itself, even more to do within walking distance, and top notch staff. If you have the fortune of an Arch facing view it's a gorgeous room for the night as well.

The hotel is beautiful and our room had a partial view of the arch. All employees we encountered we helpful and polite. The biggest thing I didn't like was that the mattress was only covered with a single flat sheet, not a fitted sheet. The sheet did not even come all the way to the top of the mattress, so part of the pillow is on just bare mattress. I just have higher expectations from a Hyatt.

Right in the middle of the action. Great classic downtown hotel. Quite you expect from a Hyatt. Well furnished rooms, lots of restaurants within 2 blocks, and a comfy bed make this a winner.

I could see half of the Arch from my window. The parking ramp has been full the whole time I have been here. $39 dollars/night for valet or you can find parking somewhere else. Service is great, the Brewhouse had great food. Best part is, it is with in walking distance of Busch Stadium, The Arch, Mastermind Escape Room, and more.

We checked in after normal hours, but the staff didn't pay attention or give us any information aside from our room number. Our room had very thin sheets, and we could find any other blankets. Bed was really comfortable, but we we're also charged a hold for 3 times the room price and 3 days for parking, automatically, making a 120 dollar experience 400 dollars out of my account. We got it resolved but it wasn't the easiest to do

Beautiful hotel with great views of the Arch and the Mississippi River. The 18th floor has a courtyard/outdoor lounge with great views that is open to guests (but check if the space is already rented for an event).
Friendly, personable and helpful desk staff.

Only reason for four stars, the hotel could have been cleaner in a couple places and in our room, plus a couple problems with lamps in our room on arrival.
When approached, manager was very open to the feedback so I hope to have the opportunity to come back again and put that last star on next time.

Meh.

Clean, modern looking hotel. Parking was slightly problematic, the only option available for our visit was the valet one. There's a parking garage really close though so that's not an issue.

The room was great. The staff was not very knowledgeable, though. Three staff members told me that parking was $28 total for the whole stay. I asked when I made the reservation and when I had to call about another issue. Both people said the total for the stay was $28. I even asked if they meant for the day. They said no. I also asked when I checked in to be sure. I would have parked off site if they had told me otherwise, but the person at the front desk confirmed what the previous employees had said. When I checked out though the bill for parking was $90. They had already charged it to my card without showing me the bill. I told the front desk worker what I had been told and she said I was wrong. I told her I was not going to pay for it because of what three of their employees had said. She went to go get the manager. The manager came out and told me there was nothing she could do because none of her employees are new so none would have said that. I told her that three had said it. She then said it was a confusion in communication. I responded by saying that may have been true if I had only heard it from one employee and if I had not confirmed it. Her response was then that the hotel is not in charge of parking (why then, is the hotel the one doing the charging??). She told me I could talk to the parking company. I suggested she do it since it was her employees that relayed the incorrect message. She picked up the phone to call parking, they did not answer. I continued to stand there and wait for my refund. She finally refunded my card. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I would expect much more from a high end hotel. A manager, especially, should be role model for her employees.

The Hyatt Regency at the Arch is the best downtown hotel in St Louis for business travelers and also for vacationers. Nice, spacious rooms, fast and friendly service, 3 restaurants for dinner and the in-house Starbucks are just a few of the many things that make this hotel the best option here. It is close to all downtown offices as well as attractions. It is right next to the Arch and the old Courthouse. It is conveniently accessable by taxicabs, Lyft or Uber as well as the MetroLink public transit system.

I was at the Hyatt for a professional convention. The service staff was great! The food however was pretty sub-par. I thought the building was quite nice though and I would recommend it to someone who needed to stay down near the Arch. Parking was $25.

Reserved room over 2 months in advance, show up to check in to be told they didn t have that room available and I could either pay extra to upgrade or change to double bed room. When we finally got into a room, the view was horrible, cable didn t work, dirty pillowcases on the floor, and the shower had hair stuck to the wall. When I asked for a refund, I was told it d take 5-7 business days for the $700 hold to come off my account. Will NEVER return!

This hotel is NOT luxury.the rooms are small and the one restaurant at night is overpriced and the food like it was microwaved.the staff is rude and nosy.do not stay here...trust me.there are other REAL LUXURY hotels close by.

We got a room on the top floor with a direct view of the river and the Arch. Beautiful view! The room is fresh, clean and spacious. They have a gift/convenience shop, Ruth's Chris, FedEx store, and Starbucks inside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is amazing. We would stay here again if we are back in St. Louis.

Stayed here for a few nights to catch a Cardinals game. The Arch is directly outside the front door of the hotel, and the baseball stadium is right down the street, for sure walkable. Clean and upscale hotel. Would totally stay here again!

Visited the Hyatt for a wedding show. The hotel had great energy and the staff was very friendly. I also really enjoyed talking to the Hyatt staff at the wedding show. The hotel is quite large and even with a lot of people therefore the show, the staff was friendly and the hotel didn't feel overcrowded.

While getting family ready for bed, a bat came from somewhere in the room and began flying around our room. Even after calling down, where they told us they were sending someone, it took much too long for someone to get there. We resorted to chasing the bat out of our room with towels. Through our restless night, we didn't hear anyone come to get the bat so it may very well be loose to this day. On the bright side, the 25 dollar upgrade in order to check in to the hotel early was waived after this. Furthermore, paper thin walls allow for sound to travel through rooms especially easily, noisy neighbors led to a long night of trying to sleep. After calling to complain, service was slow but the neighbors quieted down somewhat. The Starbucks in the hotel is also not full so your favorite drinks may not be available. Overall, the customer service was poor and during the day you can expect to be put on hold several times before someone picks up. Finally, there was no parking in the building's parking garage so be ready to park at another garage and walk to the hotel if you drive anywhere.

The hotel was nice and clean, it was just a few minute walk to the St. Louis Arch right in the downtown area. The only problem me and my fiance had was we were in a room near the elevators which became very loud throughout the night with people waiting for the elevator. (I would recommend no room next to elevator next time.) Overall it was a great stay my first time in St. Louis.

Great
