Staff was friendly. They had the two pack and plays we requested set up for us before we got in our room. Also the view is really great of the arch. Our twins loved running around their outdoor viewing floor of the arch. Rooms are clean and quiet. Staff responsive to front desk requests.

Large spacious room although no glass shower as shown on the website we booked and when we upgraded to the hospitality accommodation they tried to put us in a small room room and still charged the same. The large room had a tiny bathroom but nice fixtures and showerhead. Old building with slow flushing toilets and not bolted down at the breakfast area. Dried out stale horderves mostly untouched, but a good serve yourself breakfast. Comfortable bed, but short sheeted quilt between sheets stoping below your chest. Overall a comfortable stay, but not even near an embassy suites stay if you can find one newly remodeled especially. Would not stay here again.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my life - from the worse of the worse to the old Fontainebleau Hilton in Miami Beach. My wife and I needed a hotel near the Gateway Arch on vacation during a Christmas vacation. I could not ask for a better place to stay. Price was very inexpensive based on location. The service was excellent to say the least. Ashley at the morning buffet was uplifting and wonderful. The stay was so great, we stayed another day! Excellent service all the way around. Helpful and courteous.

Wi-fi was free and parking was free!

You're paying for the location and the wow factor. The room and bathroom are small, had some amentaties (bathroom fan and TV) and cleanliness issues. You're right next to the arch, within walking distance of bars/shops/food downtown, which was incredibly nice, but the room itself was nothing special.

The Hyatt Regency at the Arch is a friendly hotel well suited to a weekend getaway or a large scale event. Multiple eating establishments on site offer plenty of options for dining. The rooms are spacious and if you are lucky you'll get a view of the Arch. While at the hotel, we met several staff members who were courteous and friendly. I'll be staying there again when I visit St. Louis next time.

Beautiful room. Chose to pay more for an arch view king room, and the room was work every cent. Onto he other hand, housekeeping had left extremely odorous food from a past guest in the refrigerator, and there was shaving razor trash still in the shower. We had an extremely late checkin, and we had called ahead to inform of late checkin, so there was no logical reason for the unclean room. By the time we noticed these things, it was about 2 am, and we were exhausted, so we mentioned it at checkout. Also, parking was extremely expensive. 40 for valet, 30 for self park? Insane! All in all, great stay, and would stay again, but definitely will be renting a car; 1/3 of the cost being for parking is obscene.

Great hotel in terms of cleanliness, comfort, location, and amenities. However, the garage is ALWAYS full, so you'll need to park next door. Also, the TV remote was missing, but they brought up a replacement fairly quickly.

I've stayed at this location 5 times over the last 3 years. Each time its the same. The staff is not overly friendly but not rude. Check in is always fast. They have had no issues with early check in's or late check outs. Valet is a little over priced for a city the size of St. Louis. 37 bucks is a bit much. The rooms are clean and priced well. BELIEVE ME, there are way worse places with similar star levels. Stay at the Hyatt and avoid drama. AVOID The Crowne Plaza and the Westin.

My stay here was one of my worst hotel experiences. In fact, it reminded why I don't like staying in hotels. The room was incredibly dirty. We had an extra bed, so we decided to move one of them so that we could be closer as a family, big mistake. Underneath the bed was beyond a little dusty, the amount of dust piled up under the bed was embarrassing. My daughter tried to grab some old kid toy. We moved the bed back because we felt it was too late to change room and we were tired. Please check under your bed if you are staying here.

Came from central Illinois for the day, and evening.. visited the arch, and did a riverboat ride! absolutely loved the place! Plenty of room, and worth the price! Nice staff, good people. Will be back

They charge you $50 extra per day as "insurance". When I booked on the phone and checked in, they didn't mention it either time. Was a shocker seeing my bill $100 more than it was supposed to be. It gets refunded but for less fortunate people I could see it being an issue with bank overdrafts, and still annoying for me thinking they messed up the payment and having to call and ask about it. Definitely should be explained prior to payment.

Be prepared to take an oath of silence like a catholic nun. We got back to our room and literally couldn t have a normal conversation without the neighbors calling downstairs. They knock and tell us to keep it down but I explained we weren t being loud, we are simply talking amongst ourselves. No tv on, weren t yelling, etc

The morning of our neighbors that called on us woke up at 5 am and talked on the phone for an hour on speaker phone, went in and out of the door a dozen times which was louder than anything else.

9am rolls around while we are sleeping, room service knocks on our door. Check out isn t till 11am so please don t knock on my door until then because now I m awake and can t go back to sleep.
