Excellent location, right by the Arch. Parking can be a hassle but we parked at the Mansion House for $18 overnight (I believe on site parking is available but valet only). Check in was quick. View can be a hit or miss. If you are lucky, you will have the view of the Arch.

Lots of attractions nearby including the Old Courthouse and the Sculpture Park. The Busch stadium is also less than 15 minute walk.

Beds were unfortunately smaller than average. In the double bed room, two people barely fit on the bed.

Very nice and spacious room. Close to many things to include the arch and cardinal stadium. Attentive staff and very friendly bell hops. Parking garage was interesting and a bit hectic at times but not overly horrible.

Good view of the arch. Decent food in the area. Staff is kind and curteous. Rooms are OK. Mine in particular had a poorly designed bathroom where taking a shower would completely flood the bathroom well into the next day.

About 3 minutes walk from Gateway National Park.

About 3 minutes walk from Gateway National Park.
It was raining so I was saved.
It's great to see the Gateway and the western city beyond it from the room.
There is also Starbucks in the hotel, which is convenient.
There is an additional charge for parking, but it was helpful to be able to park while exploring the national park after check-out.
The coffee in the room is okay.
Hygiene management is also a safe level.
Recommended for all Japanese.

I booked through priceline and was more than satisfied with the hotel. I have stayed in several Hyatts and this was by far my favorite. Room 1479 has the best view of the Arch and the corner room was not too big nor not too small it was perfect. Only thing the room was missing was a bath tub. But the shower was heavenly non the less. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting St. Louis.

This was an amazing stay! We had a BEAUTIFUL room and a very nice walk in closet and bathroom. Great view as well! It's was super clean and the staff was friendly. The gift shop was convenient. My only complaint is that as much as we spent on out room I feel breakfast should have been free.

We used our Hyatt Member points for a free room on 7/28/18 as I was not willing to pay $398 for a room.

The hotel room is decent and the location is perfect for St. Louis. The service was not that accommodating and the room had a hole in the wallpaper which exposed a hole in the wall. I called customer service and they informed us they were full and could not give us another room.

Also, we asked the guest services desk for assistance for an issue in the gym. He told us to go to the gym and use the phone in there to call for our issue. We went to the gym and it is an emergency phone only with signs saying security will come if you call on this phone. We went back to the front desk and another worker came with us back to the gym and informed us that she would take care of the issue and that never happened.

You can tell the hotel has been half-renovated but it is not worth $300-$400/night. I will be going back to the Ritz-Carlton.

Very nice hotel with amazing location across the street from the arch and down the street from Cardinals stadium and many other points of interest. Staff took great care of us, even with a giant Herbal Life convention going on, they still made time for us.

Very nice stay. The staff was friendly, pleasant and professional. The downtown location was amazing. My view of the Arch couldn't be better. Decent selection of restaurants around the hotel area. The bar in the hotel was great and even enjoyed a couple games of pool while enjoying our drinks. Bartenders were friendly and attentive.

Love it! Even though I booked through hotwire, I was treated as if I were staying on the 18th floor! Lol....Check in went smooth even though Apple was being trained, and Vince and Katie are AWESOME too!!!! Would recommend all of my friends and family to stay at the Hyatt downtown at the arch!!! Thank you!

Great experience at the Hyatt! Nice, clean rooms with a modern style made for some great relaxation. Just a block away from the Arch and two blocks from the baseball stadium there was plenty to do! The staff was extremely friendly and were kind enough to give me a room upgrade as it was my birthday!

Hi, this is Aso Ali. The only encounter I have so far was a job interview. Last week I applied for a job position in this hotel in Saint Louis MO and I just had moved to Atlanta GA. They called me for job interview and I enthusiastically accepted and turned down another job for it in my new place. I hurriedly drove to Saint Louis and in the process I decided to settle down in the city (it was a mistake in retrospect of course). So I went to interview few days ago with a representative his name Kyle (?). After half an hour or so of A&Q it turned out that he did not have authority to hire so this time would only be the first part of the interview waiting for the higher boss, Bernays (?) to come back to do me the second and ultimate interview. Tow days later I went back for the completion of the job interview. I arrived half an hour earlier, my way to attend my work or any appointment I have. I was called in. We sat down and went through another interview. The end of the interview which would be Mr. Bernays's word was very dramatic that only can be seen in prank performances: the job did not exist. What??? Mr. Bernays's with his Slavic-like accent told me "our team is full... ready for the summer...". Yes, I had been through two days of interview for a job that he tells me it does not exist. I never saw or heard such a story on job interview and challenge anybody to come up with another one like it. Was it his way to say you are not qualified for the basic job? Or what? I does not matter anymore. But one thing for sure I will continue to speak up and write when I see sort of behaviors that don't line with acceptable codes of moral and social conducts.

Major disappointment. Room was not well cleaned upon arrival. Had to request new coffee set because the one in the room was wet and nasty. Hair dryer quit working on the first try and needed to be replaced. There was gum on the floor that got on our socks. Hair in the bathroom upon arrival. This was in an upgrade room with an arch view, by the way. In addition to the extra fee for the view (which was very cool), they also charge $3 for a small bottle of water of the exact kind which we had literally bought for $.89 at the gas station on the trip in. I was unaware upon booking that we would also have to pay an extra $30 per night to park. Maybe that was my fault for not reading carefully enough, but it was disappointing after spending so much for the room. We also paid extra in the room price for breakfast, but still had to pay full price for our third guest (all in one room). And yes, the breakfast buffet is mediocre and not at all worth $20. Overall, it was an expensive lesson in the World of Hyatt. The only saving graces were the friendly staff and view of the arch. Next time we come we ll stay at a budget friendly option, most of which provide basics like parking and standard buffets without making you feel like you re being nickeled and dimed.
