I loved working at General Linen. I recently retired and miss everyone from the office to the labor department. I found it a fair place to work as they work with you the employee. I also felt that they work hard to make the deadline for the customers. Even with the language barriers with some of the employees I found most everyone respectful and caring. I will miss working with this great team!!!!!

We have been using General Linen for many years at Belmont Hall and enjoy dealing with John Jamrog. He is always checking up to make sure all is going well and if ever there is a concern, he is quick to resolve it. There have been many a time when we needed extra linens at the very last minute and they always come through, personally delivering it to us!

I wish I could give negative starts. We stated contact with them for two hotels. We kept getting changed each week for more then our contact price. At this point we tried to contact our sales person, who would not response for weeks. Our account was on direct debit so they would charge us full amount each week during pandemic. We tried to contact management. We would get napkins and different color sheets delivered and would get charged for it even tho they are no use to us. After a month and half finally was able to sit down with manager name John. In meeting I was told he will work on each invoice and give us credit for overcharge. I contacted him the following 2 months, no answer. I was still trying to contact customer service and tell my story to whoever that listens. I finally got a hold of his manager, who said he would get back to me. At this point of course I m getting out of the contact with this company because they over charged us at least $1000 that I know of. Sometimes they would not deliver during pandemic and then still change us the full amount. Manager said ok we owe you this much money but you can t have your money back. It s like store credit you have to use it here. At this point 4-5 months had gone by me trying to figure this out. I was so sick of it I didn t even wanted to fight with them anymore. It was so disappointing that they knew they over charged but they still didn t give us our money back. Oh and ya the delivery guy broke glass door at one of the hotel. Customer service is horrible, no one cares and no one listens. It is such a big company, I expected much better service we got out of the company and wasted so much money. If you are looking to get service go to people linen, sometimes you rather pay more then get stuck with company who just want your money.

the worst service ever, especially sale person name "David" he can promise you everything before you place an order, after you place an order you can't contact him anymore!!i think i decided to change to order linen from somewhere else they have couple company in this town!

Please take my advice and never contract with this Linen company. Ever!
Over the past 2 years (yes, 2 whole years) my clinic has been trying to work with GLC and til this day, they have not been resolved. We've dealt with so much turn over within their company and so many unanswered calls and emails as we try to rectify our issues with GLC. Many emails and calls to the Managers, Branch Manager still, today, are unanswered and no replies.
The contracted amount of lab coats per person is NEVER delivered. Week after week we are always short lab coats because GLC never delivers the same amount of lab coats that leave our clinic the week before. EVER! We are always short lab coats every single week, but we faithfully pay GLC week after week for X amounts of lab coats that are NEVER DELIVERED. It got to a point where we had to take the responsibility of counting the amount of coats coming in to see if they match the amount that went out the week before and IT NEVER MATCHES. They always short us. (We've been told that they sometimes get lost at their other sites.)
GLC is charging us for more coats then what we originally contracted for. (This was one issue that I asked to have rectified a while back and still, nothing has been done by GLC.) We have expressed our concerns and issues yet again to the General Manager via email and via telephone however, Chris Murray has yet to respond to our concerns.
Furthermore, the coats do not stay white in color, as after a month or two of usage, they become a bit brown in color. The smell of the coats are unpleasant.
To me, this company doesn't have a clear process to manage their inventory, they do not care about customer quality and satisfaction, and almost force you to stay in a contract that clearly they aren't holding their end of.
Hopefully, with the help from my higher ups, we get out of this horrible contract with GLC so we can find a company that will value our business.

The Red Arrow Diner has been using General Linen for 2+/- years and are very satisfied with the experience. The customer service that John Jamrog has given us has been impeccable. He has been extremely reliable and easy to get a hold of. We have never had any issues and would highly recommend them to any business looking for a linen service.

We worked with General Linen for a number of years in our on site tavern - Tuckerman's Restaurant & Tavern. They have always been able to assist us with all our table linens, kitchen towels, aprons and special requests. They have either met or exceeded our expectations on many occasions.
