OMG... My room was so great ... Very clean and the bed are so comfortable... Chose them when coming to St. Louis... Nothing but great things to say about this hotel. It s right next to the arch.... No noise levels, clean hallways, and great restaurants...

Nice standard business hotel. Rooms are very pleasant, clean, modern looking, and the hotel staff are friendly. Room service was ok but the selection of food seems a little this. There are quite a few options for food and drinks at the hotel. Some ribs have a nice view of the Arch.

My daughter's stay was a nightmare! 1st they started throwing car keys in a bowl all mixed together from valet. The next time she went down there they lost her only car key for AN HOUR!! Next I got an Edible Arrangement sent with chocolate covered fruit for something nice for my daughter to come back to and they lost that as well!! I called the hotel gave them the room # and they assured me it would be delivered to her room to be refrigerated. She worked a 14 hour day and I wanted something nice for her for Valentine's Day. They completely ruined her entire experience at this hotel. They offered a refund for the delivery but that is NOT the point. The manager said she wasn't there this morning so didn't know what happened to it. She said maybe housekeeping thru it out. They are absolutely terrible with organization at this place. Definitely not going back.

We stayed here on 10/19 your paying for the location because the room was not as expected, paid the bell hop a decent tip to put bags in car, when we got to airport no bags so we had to rush back to hotel to pick up bags because he did not put car, I would not stay here again, bell hop has one job to do and he couldn t even do that,

I visited the Hyatt Recency for the 2018 Winter Warmup. The parking garage is conveniently located and the event space is nice. I found the staff to be friendly and efficient. I did not stay in a room.

Nice hotel with clean modern rooms. The lobby is huge with plenty to eat and drink. The only down side is the parking. The valet is $39/day which was a little high for us. The self parking garage was full so we were forced down the street to a parking garage for $14/day which felt a little "sketchy" but it was the only option. The garage we parked in had no in/out privileges which was ok because everything is within walking distance.

I ve stayed at the Hyatt multiple times and I was satisfied each time . I ve booked through 3rd party websites & never had an issue with them . when check-in please be aware of why they swipe your card. They informed it that they took an extra fee just Incase anything happened. Instead of telling me it was for parking. Didn t get notified of that . In all the rooms was still amazing & I enjoyed myself .

The hotel was as amazing as the first time I went for the same event as this year. I enjoyed the grille and bar located near the shop as well as the complimentary pool table located near the steakhouse bar. The elevators were slow to arrive at times, not stooping on the current floor for around 10 minutes during one incident. My one complaint is the lock on room televisions preventing the source input from being changed to anything besides connected usb, which needed an app to function, It appeared. Overall, my stay at the Hyatt was wonderful.

We had a good visit here. We recommend a white noise machine to help drown out the crosswalk noise as it does the count down beeper all night long and we were on the west side of the building right on 4th St. Great staff and well kept facilities.

Very nice, clean rooms. The entire place is well maintained. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Food was great in the restaurant breakfast buffet. The floor was laid out a bit weird on the floor I stayed on. Other than that, awesome.

Rooms were nice and very quiet. We were in a reserved block of rooms and worried it might be noisy but it wasn't at all. Friendly staff, great location. A little pricey but it was still a good deal. We spent the extra on valet parking to not have to deal with street or garage parking around the area.

Overall a good experience but man does noise travel easily through the windows and walls. You can hear your neighbors pretty well and the traffic outside can definitely keep you up at night. My room was on the 12th floor and I could hear every car drive by. Room was mostly clean. Cabinet below the tv had food grime from previous guests on the handles and the remote was pretty greasy.

Room is updated except the phones are straight out of 1993 and there are 3 of them in this tiny room.

Stayed two nights; Sunday and Monday. The room was clean and spacious and conveniently located. A pack and play was given in place of a crib. The employees are all very nice. My only complaint is traffic could be heard in the evening while I was lying in bed.

When we arrived we were told that the parking garage was full and had to either pay $40 to valet or park down and across the street. I was very disappointed and felt the hotel was trying to extort $40 and then a tip to just park on premise. The manager could care less and never did answer the question whether or not they were allowing cars not staying at hotel to park in garage. Wont come back here just because of this parking debacle on a Wednesday.

I was very unimpressed with the hotel. The shower had hair in the drain and mold growing everywhere. I kept finding things on the floors like bobbypins and wrappers from the previous guests. The rooms and always were not very clean! Plus there are no full-length mirrors is the rooms

Great place to stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love the view from the top floors. They gym was very nice as well. Great view of the Arch and close in proximity to downtown life. The lobby is very mice and comfortable. We were able to sit and do work and feel like we were in a nice open space.

Upon arrival @ 4:15 we had to wait an hour to check in (check in is @ 4). The guy checking us in said for our inconvenience he ll throw in the breakfast buffet but I told him I already paid for that. While waiting I used the hotel lobby restroom. It was dirty & messy. Paper towels overflowing out of the trash can & all over the floor. No hand soap. When I got to our room (king deluxe) the disappointment continued. The room was smaller than what the pictures showed on the website for a king deluxe, crumbs on the floor, the pillows on our king size bed look like pillows they use to give on airplanes & lastly the shower drain was partially clog so it was backed up by the time I finished my shower. I gave the two stars for the customer service I received from housekeeping & the house salad I ate was really good. I m truly disappointed & feel ripped off. I expected more from this hotel for $300 a night after taxes. I definitely DO NOT recommend staying here if you re looking for a 4/5 star hotel experience.

Stayed here for my 18th birthday, we wasn t even loud we respected them and everything. We know better so we know what and what not to do, we gets put out for saying we too loud whole time we are not loud at all. All the girls was getting ready to go to sleep. It s the Mardi Gras downtown, people walking in the lobbies drunk and yelling, people who don t even have a room at the hotel walking the lobbies drunk they didn t say anything to them. But we get put out for what? Thanks for ruining my birthday!! Worst hotel i ever been to downtown stl. RATE ZERO

We spent the night at the Hyatt after ringing in the new year there. It was a magnificent evening with lots of good food, dessert, and music. Both the event and the stay were spectacular. I enjoyed our bedroom view overlooking the arch and waking up to the arch was simply magical. I would definitely stay there again. Clean rooms, bathroom, and fresh new carpet everywhere.

Location was amazing, room was nice but not really deluxe like they claimed. Toilet paper was one-ply, and there was no trash in the bathroom. Staff was exceptionally helpful and kind, even going so far as to attempt to fix my glasses when they broke.

Breakfast not included. View is awesome and room is decent. The bathroom required strategy to open and close door and shower door in order to function. Didn't like the parking situation. We were forced to valet.

Great location right downtown, walking distance to Ballpark Village. The rooms were fine, although the staff was never able to get my WiFi working and my room had way too few outlets. I also had about $70 of extra charges at checkout in taxes and fees.
