This hotel is PHENOMINAL! Great views, great rooms, great service. They are near everything you would want to see or do as a tourist. Club is beautiful with a great view of the arch a delicious food options. Michael is the best! Oh, thet do have a Ruth Chris' on the first floor. Unfortunately I did not get to go as they were closed for the holiday but makes the hotel for a getaway with your significant other.
High class, attractive. I was only there to pick someone up but now I want to rent a room just to enjoy the comfort!
This place has gone downhill in service since the last time I was here in 2016. Parking garage was full but they still tried to charge me for self parking. The bathrooms have no ventilation. The Valet used to get your car ready to pick up ahead of time but they don't do that anymore. When we left for the day someone had hung a "Do not disturb" sign on the door so our room didn't get cleaned. The only good thing about the stay at this hotel this time around was the awesome view of the waterfront out the window.
Great modern room for a fantastic price. We weren't expecting a view of the Arch at the low rate we paid but had a fantastic view of it. Staff were very accommodating and welcoming. (Despite the fact that we checked in straight from backpacking in the Ozarks!) We were ready to pay for parking but just a reminder to anyone who's looking to stay her that it is an extra ~$30 to self park in the garage.
Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking as well.
Beautiful Hotel with no amenities. No pool or complimentary meals. Not a good choice if traveling with children.
Self park was full, I had to use valet... And it was busy of course. I had to practically chase down a valet who was helping everyone behind me. Inside it was busy, but I didn't have to wait too long to check in. I had 3 bags but there was no assistance offered in helping me up to my room. No big deal for me, but for a fancy hotel you'd think I'd be turning it down left & right. Room was very nice, clean, cool, comfortable. It was a bit of a walk away from an ice machine or vending. I had a view of the roof and a bridge from a small window. When I phoned for toothpaste in the morning, I received in on my door quickly. Overall not many complaints.
I always stay at the Hyatt. This one is great not only how close it is to the arch but all the dining options inside. Parking is 29 dollars. Don't turn your key in before you leave. You need it to get out of the parking lot. The hotel has a box for keys after the gate is opened you can put the key in when leaving.
The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, great location in downtown, the food available was not good. It was an ok hotel, but over priced for the service.
Organization for the guests and attendees was done well, and seemed to be timely. Overall experience was pleasant.
The Hyatt is a beautiful hotel with wonderfully friendly staff. The meeting rooms were well-equipped with everything we needed. And I have to mention that all of the finger foods and desserts were most excellent!
A great place to have food and drinks with friends. A nice hotel, but I did not stay there. Very nice area downtown with good views
Lovely hotel with he comfiest beds! A bit sad that their breakfast buffet was out of our price range and that late check out is so expensive.
I actually really like this hotel. It's very nice with parking. My issue is that the front desk staff are not very knowledgeable. I was traveling for business and the room was supposed to be tax exempt. The front desk was insistent on me needing a tax exemption form despite the state of Missouri's website indicating that it was not needed so long as official identification was presented. Nevertheless, I signed the form at check-in, but when I checked out the front desk clerk didn't acknowledge that I signed one when I showed her that taxes were on my bill. She wouldn't let me sign a new one right then, she told me I would need to fax one in. I guess they found it on file later, and by the time I called in to accounting to dispute the taxes, they refunded me the amount of the taxes. I really don't get what the big hassle was. The front desk needs to be trained on tax exemption procedures and I think it's ridiculous for the hotel to require the form when other hotels don't require it in accordance with what's provided on the state's website.
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, great views of St. Louis from many rooms.
Always a nice place to stay. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Had a couple bars and freat restaurants on site.
The Hyatt was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating during my stay.
Amazing event space right by the St. Louis Arch. They handled an event with over 1400 people with precision and poise. The hotel rooms are also excellent and nearby to tons of local attractions.
Room was a little small and we had to pay $10 a night for parking.
It is a beautiful hotel and we had a great time at the Pujols Prom.
The service and staff were excellent. Dined at Ruth's Chris, food was stellar. Would definitely recommend.
Love this hotel, it's basically the only place I will stay when I've visiting Saint Louis. I started going here many many years ago because I got an excellent deal on Priceline, but now Priceline doesn't offer any good deals, and surprisingly I don't care. I book directly with the hotel, and have an awesome stay every time. I also love the brunch offered on Sundays.
Nice hotel literally within walking distance of the arch
This hotel is located in the middle of everything; the Arch is next door, the stadium a block or so away. The restaurant options are great.
Beautiful hotel with amazing views, IF you get a room with windows. We have stayed there 3 times now and the first two times we had a room on the corner with massive beautiful windows. Today was quite different, we got to our room that was an interior room with no windows at all. I really wish we had known it was a windowless room when we booked it, I was unaware that they even existed. We would have stayed somewhere else or booked a different room, had I known. If you book, make sure you have a window, and you'll enjoy the location, the views and your stay.
Amazing breakfast buffet! Room was gorgeous. Just a few holes in the bedsheets.
Very clean, great location. Breakfast and parking were a bit pricey though, $20/ $26
I had enough luggage to look like a one-man nomadic tribe going across the desert. Instead of putting me in a room that was right next to the elevator or close by, she put me all the way down at the end of two very long hallways. There was no porter or bellhop.
The only advantage was that I had a very good close-up view of the Arch.
The room was a little cramped and the air conditioning was broken at least in my room. Other than that it was an excellent stay
Great hotel and location, pleasant and helpful staff. Upgrade to club level if you can, it is worth it!
Nice place, food options are decent. Super close to arch and other local attractuons
Overpriced. No microwave in room, which is ridiculous for the cost. Housekeeping staff was very unaccommodating
Really good food,. Close to everything, but expensive
Clean bathrooms and rooms, great hotel, parking garage is kinda tight but otherwise nice
Stopped by for drinks. It is an intimate place with a decent draft selection. They have drink and food specials for happy hour from 3 to 6.
I attended the Cardinals Winter Warmup here. The hotel is decently clean, and the event space is large and well suited for the purpose. The workers at the hotel were kind and helpful.
Beautiful hotel with close up views of the Arch and park. Convenient walking distance to many attractions.
Room was a little dirty. The shower needed extra attention in the corners. There was hair on our bathroom floor. The previous guest had spilled coffee or soda on the hard surfaces and they hadn t been wiped down. The provided lotion bottle was dirty and from previous guest. Mirror was dirty also.
Great hotel overall. Valet parking is $40 a night, but if you go around the block, it's $22 a night to self-park. Literally, it took me 3 minutes to walk out of the garage and to the hotel. It is laid out weird, even with room signs, I still got lost getting to my room, and I wasn't the only one, a lot of folks felt the hotel was laid out like a maze. By the time you learn it, you're checking out! There is a Starbucks, a gift shop with sandwiches, drinks, snacks, etc, and a few restaurants. You'll find a great place to eat at anytime, if you want to stay within the hotel. The gym is nice, but when it's full, you will wait for a treadmill. Their treadmills are really nice. Their elevators are very quick, and I never waited for more than a minute for an elevator. Housekeeping did a great job, our room was cleaned every day. Do me a favor....please tip your housekeeper. They have such a sh*tty job, seriously. They get paid so little to do such a gross job. Anyway, the hotel staff is great. The room next to us decided to party hard past midnight, and there hotel signs posted EVERYWHERE that the hotel quiet time policy is 9am-6am. The walls are paper-thin anyway, but the room next to us...they were screaming and getting drunker. We called security and asked if they would quiet down. Security went right up. Except the folks decided to scream at security and tell them "Eff off" and security kicked them out of the hotel. So security takes that seriously. Check in and check out was easy and the staff was very nice. OH! make sure to get a view of the Arch. When you go to reserve a room online, you can choose that option. Also...if you stay here, you are a crosswalk away from the the Arch.
The hotel customer service is lovely very nice and respectful and Samantha was sweet
Great service, great amenities, perfect location, beautiful room views.
It's nicer than a holiday inn. I expected better. The tub is only calf high. Either have a nice shower or no tub. They charge $100 in case you buy tv programming and take a week to refund it. My wife is preggo and the water is kinda cloudy. I buy a couple bottles of water and its $14. It's okay but nickle and dime to death.
We had a long wait at the Brewery but once we got to our table the food, service, and beer were great!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a lot of foot traffic mid afternoon and everything still was nice and flowed smoothly
Nice hotel, very expensive parking $30.00 a day. Nice service.
They do not provide microwave in the room so it was hassle to go down from 10th floor to ground floor everytime we needed to heat something. Parking is a problem $30 dollars for selfpark and $40 for valet plus tip. Service was ok. Room s were average
I can honestly say this was my best experience at a hotel ever, which is good considering the room was ~$300 for the night. Being a World of Hyatt member (opted-in when we made the reservation) we automatically got a 12 PM checkout, but they were also able to have our room ready 4 hours prior to normal check-in at no additional charge. Our room had an amazing view of the arch. Every employee was super friendly and helpful.
Brand name hotel with excellent customer service.
Close proximity to the Arch. Awesome breakfast!
Comfortable room & bed. Difficult expensive parking but great location.
I am usually loyal to Hyatt but some check in quirks were very aggravating. Other than that, the room and service were fine. And it was cool to be able to walk to the Arch.
What an AWESOME weekend trip with the family.
My wife & son loved the room and the view of the Arch....we all Loved it.
Such a great stay......
Thank you Hyatt!
Great location, but I believe this hotel is in bad need of a full room renovation. I stay at a lot of Hyatts and this one needs some updating. Lobby and amenities are good. $30 for self parking in winter during low season is a little rough.
Very clean room with a beautiful view. Enjoyed the visit and the staff was very friendly with excellent service.
This was our first time in St.Louis and it was amazing .. Check in was easy and the Valet staff was polite and helpful .. opened our door for us to get in and out each time we left and arrived .. our SUV was very well taken care of the whole stay .. the Motel staff was helpful, polite , caring .. Met our needs to the fullest .. Our room didn t have the view we wanted when we got there but they got us one and it was perfect !!! The room was very clean and so nice and comfy .. super quiet .. the whole trip was just perfect .. we will definitely be making this our place to stay when we go back ..
The staff was super friendly and very professional! They made answering my questions seem like something they wanted to do and also made me feel welcome.
I would have given this place 5 stars but the honey was and the jelly they served during breakfast was imported when clearly there a farm close by st Louis we could be supporting. Other then that it was a great hotel in a great location close to the Gateway Arch and the Mississippi river.
Great location for tourism and to enjoy the nightlife. The staff was very friendly. Great service. Clean room. Not too fantasy. The only negative about this hotel is the price of parking, which was 29 bucks each night. Valet was 39 bucks each night. There are places along the street you can take a chance and park at, but that can be a headache. Just budget an additional 35 bucks each night when considering booking here.
Got to check in via my phone at 9am. Arrived at 11 am and room was ready and accommodations were amazing. Great customer service and rooms are very spacious and clean.
While I stayed here in the past and the hotel stay was first class. My reason for this particular review is from the point of hospitality. The hotel donated staff and space, to provide food for Law Enforcment and First Responders who supported the Independence Day and the reopening of the Arch celebrations. It was greatly appreciated and made the long shifts in the hot weather a little cooler. Thanks.
Very nice and amazing hotel. It's in walking distance of the stadium and has amazing service. Would 100% recommend for anyone.
Grand Hall bar was classy and comfortable. Actually it was downright cozy and I would go back in a heartbeat
Was a nice place to stay for the weekend! Great view of the arch as well! Close to almost everything!
The parking fee is absolutely outrageous! $30 a night? They didn t tell me about the extra $100 deposit I had to make.. what was suppose to be a relaxing anniversary trip turned into us being completely broke from unexpected charges. If it was $30 for a parking pass it would make more sense... we already paid for the expensive room and the services I don t get to get because of covid. Not even a free breakfast to help soften the blow... the parking really put a damper on my wallet.. also when I got to my room my air wasn t working :/
Great view though
