Lovely hotel friendly staff very helpful very clean room really happy with our stay although parking to stay here is really expensive .

Stayed here for one night recently to see Indina Menzel at the Symphony Hall across the road, I had a club room on the 24th floor and it was amazing!

Floor to ceiling windows and a view to die for! Bed was very comfy but the 4am false fire alarm I could have done without!

I had room service breakfast in the room on the day of check out it arrived and was beautifully presented and was hot and as expected!



If you're in the area for the icc/symphony hall or the REP this is a perfect place to stay and treat yourself!

Wow !! Loved every minute of my stay, shame it was only one night. The staff were so friendly and helpful and caring. I cant wait to go back

I used to enjoy staying in Hyatt, but the last stay wasn't as good due to several things: 1) There was a fly in the room and when I asked to be moved, the housekeeper insisted I should just stay in my room. 2) my next door neighbour seems to had a late night party and had made some noises in the middle of the night. This lasted for about an hour and eventually stopped after I complained to the front desk. I told them I don't need them to call me back, just sort out the noise, but the manager thought it was a good idea to call me back at 1 to apologise. 3) there is a construction work happening in front of the hotel, nd oddly, they seems to continue pass 9pm. Appreciate that points 2 and 3 may not be fully within the Hotel's controls, but overall it contributed to the less pleasurable stay.

13 of us had afternoon tea at the Hyatt Regency today for my mums Birthday.
We were greeted by a lovely waitress Tazmin.
She was very helpful and patient with the requirements of our party.
The afternoon Tea was lovely, fresh and beautifully presented and We were all amazed at such creativity that went into the children's afternoon tea.
Thank you to the members of the hyatt for a lovely afternoon.

Excellent amenities like sauna, steam bath, gym, swimming pool apart from neat, clean and spacious rooms

Nice dining area but maybe a little expensive for Christmas dinner

Decent place, staff are very friendly and go above and beyond. Place is let down by outdated rooms. Decor needs redoing and spa is very poor. Pool is just one same depth all the way and jacuzzi is tiny. The spa needs a serious revamp if this place wants to charge you so much spa needs to improve a lot.

Superb location for central location. Staff exceptional and very professional. Would like to personally thank consierge Dave and Paul for going above and beyond whilst attending an interview this morning ! Thank you both again.

As expected, clean, tidy, and pretentious. Stayed for our wedding anniversary, but from our experience, not obviously focussed on customer satisfaction. A pleasant stay but would not return.

Let me put this very clearly.

The hotel comes with lots of qualifications. One being they will charge you for breakfast on weekends and wont care to explain that to you while checking in.

Housekeeping is shoddy. One has to call them everyday to remind them to stock up the bate essentials such as water and toiletries. Even tea and coffee is not refilled till you beg them to. Tea cups are not changed everyday and unwashed cups continue to show their sorry faces to the guests in their rooms.

I am stuck here for another four days ( reason being business plus all bookings prepaid); but guys, dont fall into the trap of booking at this hotel for longer durations. It s simply not worth it at this price point to say the least.

(PA: In all fairness, hotel did resolve my issues but only after I brought it to their notice and fought about it and not of their own volition)

Lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Lovely views from our window. Food is absolutely gorgeous.

I cannot praise this establishment enough!..the rooms are immaculate..the overall service and attention to detail is absolutely amazing..i will never stay anywhere else when i visit Birmingham..

Had a lovely meal prior to a show at Symphony Hall. The food was delicious and the wine very nice. The serving staff were delightful, very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel. Attended a short event and the place was beautiful and the lunch was delicious.

I cannot thank the reception and housekeeping staff enough for helping me out this weekend. They have truly gone above and beyond the call of duty to assist me, exceeding my expectations in every way. It s a beautiful hotel and I look forward to returning in the future.

Large, clean room. Extremely pleasant and diligent staff at reception and at the bar. Excellent views across the city - it's a shame that there are currently building works taking place - it would have been beneficial to know this when booking.

It's a nice hotel with good location and amenities. The staff are great and the service is warm, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are ok, some items are starting to show their age and feel a bit dated. Housekeeping could be improved due to dust on the light fixtures.

An awesome hotel in a great location. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The check in went smoothly and the front desk people were very helpful and pointed out a few spots of interest in the area. The lobby is sectioned, which makes it feel larger and breakfast is served in the lobby area as well as other areas. Breakfast isn't the largest, but definitely is enough to get you going. The rooms are spacious, great views are had on whichever side you find yourself on. Great hotel.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff in the centre of the city. Unfortunately, also full of loud parties on a Saturday night; even up on the 17th floor, the noise from the street and other guests was too loud to let me get to sleep.

Had a work party here. Excellent room and excellent decor. Food was not very nice at all and drinks were ridiculously expensive

Great room and service. Nice pool and gym. However staff working at spa were a little rude and not very helpful. Would recommend for a luxury night

Nice hotel but not worth the price we payed per room.On arrival carpet was dirty needs go hoovering tables in bar not clean. Nice room over looking canals but again carpet needs good hoovering and black hairs in shower...

My favourite hotel in the Midlands. Far and away the most attentive staff.

This is the closest hotel to the International Conference Centre. The service is also excellent, and the twin rooms are a very generous size compared with other hotels in the city.

I really rate this hotel. Very well organised. You can check out on your phone to avoid the crowd. There is a sense of occasion in the main foyer due to the high glass ceiling. . It has a very good bar too that was buzzing with atmosphere . Staff are professional and efficient

Onjy attended for a social event and so didnt stay long. But lovely reception.

Just went to the bar to meet some friends for a drink, seemed nice

Beautiful hotel. Pity the steam room was broken, we had to get someone to fix the hottub and Room wasn't ready on time.

Well located hotel in Birmingham; attended for work event/overnight stay. Pleasant atrium area and well set up conference facilities, room clean with city view (unfortunately mostly building work currently). Breakfast good. Mass catered dinner for event nothing special but better than average as these things go so overall a very positive experience.

Nice venue, easy to access from the train station despite road-work diversions. Helpful staff.

This hotel is quite strange as it's both 'up-market' as it calls itself and as average as a travel lodge depending on what you're experiencing at the time.

Pros: So close to the ICC. You couldn't be closer unless you slept in there which I think they frown upon. The breakfast is pretty decent with a wide selection of items and some 'made to order' items too. The bathroom toiletries were nice.

Cons: The cleanliness needs some work in the rooms - stains on the sheets and debris left over from the last guest on the carpet. The bed was a good size but not overly comfortable. All of the fixtures in the bedroom were very dated. The hairdryer was as powerful as another person blowing on your hair.

All in all if being close to the ICC is important then I would stay here again. If not, for the same price there are nicer hotels in the area - or just as nice for less.
