Fantastic conference venue, helpful staff & a wonderful set of facilities

Great place to stay, close to the International Congress Center

A first class hotel. First class service. Would not stay anywhere else.

Meal here was lovely...quite pricey though...the Atrium gives ambience beautiful surroyndings...good service ...bar has gt atmosphere x

What an outstanding hotel the rooms in here were absolutely beautiful we had a sweet and it was fantastic. the bar and atmosphere in the downstairs at this hotel was electric and immense it made our evening before you went over to the international convention centre for our Christmas party I will definitely stay in this hotel again. also the bridge from the hotel to the international convention centre is amazing when it's raining as you don't get wind blow.

My sister booked this hotel she gave me a key card but they refused to let me in, I politely asked if I could call her and resolve the situation in the lobby as it was 4am cold and my friend was ill but they still refused and said they refuse to let anyone in without a key card even tho the guests themselves didnt take the key card so they said they wont let them in... They let in one of my friends who came 15 minutes earlier who wasnt a guest so I dont see the logic, and has been treated unfairly. Didnt ask me my name to see if I was registered or anything.

Such a friendly warm place, nothing an issue. When I come to Birmingham, I don't even look elsewhere, stay everytime.

Impressive building , great facilities and provides one of the best views of the city. standard rooms are ok but the suites are fantastic.

Staff were helpful. Premium hotel. Paper thin walls and windows on the 6th floor. If you can sleep on the weekend for the street noise below you are lucky

A great stay on the 17th floor overlooking the canal basin. Comfortable well-appointed room. Thoroughly recommended.

The absolute pinnacle of hospitality, easily the best hotel we've ever stayed in. We didn't want to leave. The rooms are luxurious and the staff are highly attentive. A superb location indeed.

Lovely hotel with nice big rooms and great location

Laura at the desk was very helpful. Well prompted and delivered some great customer service to us. We had a few little issues which she dealt with in a professional manner and really helped us out. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Pleasant location on Broad St to watch the world go by over a beer. Heaters mean you can sit outside even when the weather is cool.

Beautiful hotel with amazing rooms and fabulous breakfast

One of the most luxurious hotels in Birmingham, ideally located, surrounded by bars, suitable for night out, close to the canal for walking, the hotel room is large, the decoration is not bad.

My otherwise uneventful stay was completely ruined by the overzealous staff at the front door. After staying the night there, I had left my bag with the concierge. However, when I went to pick it up, I was not allowed in to the hotel, nor was I even allowed to use the toilet in the lobby. This came as a surprise to me as every other hotel I have stayed at does not have this policy. However, the Hyatt Regency in Birmingham does not seem to have any consideration for its guests. This was in stark constant to the service at the Radisson Blu, which was exceptional. The Hyatt also seems to have a policy in which they start to clean the rooms at 9am which I found a tad early. The breakfast was expensive but bland. However the bar does have a nice selection of whisky. After staying there 3 times, I feel my money would be better spent staying at other hotels. I would recommend the Radisson Blu.

Excellent and the receptionists and waitresses at breakfast were wonderful. I will recommend to friends.

Rooms average for 4star hotel, but clean. The water took forever to go down bath, but was late at night so didn't get someone to look, and only stayed one night. No biscuits with coffee which always a nice touch. Breakfast was okay, the More

Generally nice, beds vary first bed was lumpy and too soft but new room was very nice and matress was a lot better

Attended a corporate meeting followed by lunch in the hotel. Meeting room facilities were excellent and the subsequent buffet style lunch was superb.

Typical business hotel, with average rooms and "standard" service, with no particular merits or demerits. One star less for the really disappointing gym (in the basement with 23 floors available, small and with poor equipment) and a breakfast that does not leave its mark.

Really nice hotel, rooms to a high standard and lovely breakfast

Room wasn t as posh as made out to be, staff unprofessional and couldn t do their job the pool was way to chlorine filled which made my partner cough uncontrollably and made our eyes burn and the sheets had red and brown stains on, the tv barely worked and kept freezing, the room was extremely dated and not posh at all. Will NOT be staying again .the Marriott AC is much better for value and quality so the only saving grace of this hotel is the pool and steam room.

Poor value for money. If you need parking find another hotel

A disappointing experience at the hotel. One and a half hour delay in checking in after arriving at 15:15 you would have thought the rooms would have been ready. Had to continually chase for updates on rooms and remind the staff we had an evening event booked and needed time to change. Service in the pub/restaurant was really slow. Be hit by the smell of damp, so strong all our stuff had to be washed when we came home. Reception staff did not give the correct information, told to check out before going to the spa, do not take robes and slippers from the room. Arrive at spa, you ve guessed it, we needed robes and slippers from the room. Shouldn t have checked out as they needed to add treatments to room. Staff in the spa were fabulous though, corrected issues, found robes and slippers and sorted out the bills for us. Well done spa staff we were well cared for and felt looked after. Hotel not what we expected, staff need to know what they are doing and perhaps speak to guests when the meet them.

Hotel was excellent, staff were so helpful, can definitely recommend this hotel especially if you are visiting ICC as there is a glass walkway from the hotel so no need to step outside if raining.

Nice rooms, but room I reserved not available and zero service at breakfast - no one ever did come over with coffee.

The room was very warm and mainly spent time sleeping as we had just come back from Kos the dining area was fabulous. Reception staff very friendly and chatty had good bants with my boyfriend. Breakfast was 5* no complaints. Good place to book for wedding/receptions and big party functions.

Ideally located for Arena events - outstanding Celine Dion performance last night.

Great place to stay nice staff giving me a birthday present great view and a quiet night sleep. Have a great gym and swimming pool they also have a gentleman club quite expensive but worth every penny

The rooms are incredible. Also the bar and restaurant are well laid out and decorated with great food. The location is brilliant close to town but not too close. You can walk it in a couple of minutes but equally it's nice and quiet.

We had a lovely weekend,we were in Regency club and everything was first class .we were very impressed with the staff Maria.jessica and Sandra. We had a meal in the Aria restaurant which was excellent and particularly the staff, a young man from Italy and a young lady from Rumania a credit to the Hyatt . We cant wait to go background

Wonderful place to stay and may I single out how wonderful the guys at the desk outside are when greeting and making you feel welcome as they park your cars

Shame on you Hyatt. We were unable to use bar in all the promotional materials as I hadn't booked a club room. Not received a response from hotel when I asked them to contact me about this. Comfortable room overlooking a building site. Expensive experience.

Central location with helpful staff. Rooms are clean and reasonable size with good views of you are high enough

We had an excellent stay for two nights here. The check in was quick and very smooth, the rooms were clean, well presented and spacious. In the mornings we enjoyed a good choice of breakfasts from friendly staff. We also.used the pool which was a really pleasent experience. The location was great for visiting places aroubd the centre and the view from our window on the 15th floor we all really enjoyed.
