I was here when I was in Palm Springs for a conference. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. Also, there are bicycles to borrow.

We had a wonderful time here. The location in Palm Springs is great, and the rooms are fantastic. We got a great deal here in the off-season. There were a lot of families there, and areas like the pool felt harder to relax in for me compared to other locations in Palm Springs, but I was pretty content with the balcony! The parking was valet, and the only other option really was free public parking a few blocks away; I think that was my only real complaint.
Feels like a dying Hyatt. Perhaps they re getting ready to remodel as the rooms are dated, but they are clean and of a great size. The rooms on the back of the hotel have a great view of the golf course and the mountains. Nice balcony as well.
Rooms are large, check in was easy and staff was nice. Pool is nice. Hotel was a tiny bit dated but good.
Great customer service. Great rooms. Has a pool and a hot tub.
Wanted to break away for 3 days picked the hottest week of the year but perfect relaxing hotel! AC in room worked great! in 120 degree weather Staff was great got a huge room for only 99$ a night ! bartender was nice and reminded happy hour plus free beer and wine from 4 to 5 !!! had a small problem with the toilet but the staff fixed it very fast !!!! I will be back here again!!! and call me weird but i like the semi retro 80's look this hotel has!
Booked an excellent promotional hotel rate at E.M.A. Travel Group in Long Beach, CA for one of my favorite destinations which is Palm Springs. The hotel deal included accommodations and manager's reception in the area next to their lobby, where we enjoyed a variety of drinks such as beer, vodka, wine, cheese, crackers and some nachos! I was also pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms, which also came with a living/sitting area with sofa bed perfect for a family reunion, celebration or just a quick family getaway. We also made use of their refreshing swimming pool and even made conversation with some very nice people. I wanted to also try their pool side DRINKS, so we ordered some Margaritas and later some Pina Coladas, which were not that great and left a lot to be desired! Also, the hotel does not have self-parking, only VALET parking which I believe was $25 per day!! I would have given the Hyatt Palm Springs a 5 Star Rating, but because of the Parking, I gave it a 4Star! Still a Good Value for your Money! I would not hesitate come back AGAIN!
Relaxing hotel seeing the scorchiy weather. Feels like AC is man's triumph over nature. Watch out for hidden fees in dining; some are free, some paid. Always ask first
Expedia overbooked but hotel failed to notify us as we checked in and gave us a room we did not request but charged us the same exact price for the suite we requested. Found the Marriott 10 miles out for half the price and three times the square footage, plus many more amenities. Unless you need to be on the strip in an old luxury hotel (renovations still occurring), I suggest any other place. You can spend the extra cash you save on an Uber.
Great location right on the main street in palm springs with an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Rooms were well priced with nice views. On the negative it is a little dated and rooms probably due for a refresh.
I love this hotel! Extremely reasonable rates for a nice room in the best location in Palm Springs. Staff are incredibly courteous and efficient. Everything is within walking distance from this location. Their restaurant and spa services are exceptional. They occasionally have fun events held here. Absolutely a wonderful Palm Springs institution.
Took me one hour to check in because they wanted to charge me 50 dollars for incidental.. BS!
Go at the hard rock..
Great location within a very nice area sorrounded by lot of stores and restaurants, the hotel needs an urgent update i felt like on an 80s movie scene.
Really good location
Reach to everywhere in 10 min workout
4~5pm continental snack in the lobby. Free Starbucks coffee in the morning.
Good trip with dog.
Convienent location, liked that they had a pool. Some rooms can be noisy depending if you are near the street. Friendly staff.
I was visiting a friend for the day and was given a tour of the hotel by my friend.
The hotel is beautiful & pool area nice, simple, but nothing spectacular. Parking for paying guests is anything but free. Times have certainly changed...
Great rooms, great views, great staff, great food and drink!
The only star in this experience goes to Dawn.
When we checked in, they upgraded us to the cabana, poolside, room.
What they didn t tell us that there was no sound proofing and we would hear every door open and close in the hallway, our neighbours conversation (clearly) from the extremely dirty bathroom and every single other sound coming from the surrounding area.
Our bathroom was dirty, the tub had body hair, cakes of dirt and bugs and our sheets were stained with what looked like...? In the middle of the night one night, our room filled with cigarette smoke and we were woken to a neighbour freaking out, assuming it was us, terrifying my kids in the process. Of course, we are non smokers and the smoke was coming from the vent from another floor. Awesome.
For the first three days, we didn t have access to the shower either. When we reported the concern, the front desk INSISTED it was because we didn t know how to operate it.
To Dawn s credit, she waived our valet and resort fees to make up for the inconvenience. Personally, I don t think it was enough, but at least she made an effort and was apologetic.
Unfortunately I had to argue with the front desk to honour this and only after Dawn intervened was it resolved.
I don t take my family to hotels to get discounts or to get comped after things go wrong.
We were so frustrated that we actually left the hotel early and went to LA for a night to get away. This Hyatt would do well to take inspiration from the Hilton Universal, as the Hyatt is clearly not maintaining the standard of their brand s good name.
We will likely never stay at a Hyatt again. Ever.
Beautiful and quiet hotel in center of Palm Springs, we had an ice tea at the Lounge Bar the waitress was smiling and welcoming
Very disappointed on my stay. No attention to detail. AC was not on and room was 90 degrees. The TV was not connected to the cable and took a while for us to connect. There was no bedding for the pull out and when they brought it, it had holes in it. It also had candy wrappers in the pull out. I told staff it was worse than a motel six.
Amazing food, cool people, awesome staff, bombass room.
The Hyatt was wonderful. The hotel was comfortable and room was spacious. They offer a Sunset Social with small bites, beer, wine, and sodas. The staff was very friendly and attentive to all of our needs.
Worst Hyatt I've ever stayed at. They had none of the amenities that I needed and service was terrible. Very disappointed.
I will be back. No complaints. All staff friendly and accommodating.
Nice quiet hotel in the heart of Palm Springs. Valets were always helpful and quick to bring the car around, and the staff generally friendly. Climate control needs to be fixed though - our room was crazy humid even with the AC turned up.
Also with check in already very late at 4PM, we were disappointed to arrive and the room still wasn't ready. We didn't get our room until 5 which delayed our music festival plans significantly. Their excuse was that they were busy. Well, yes it's Easter weekend. Staff accordingly so you can get people their rooms on time to avoid disrupting guest schedules!
This isn t the best Hyatt for customer service.
Upon arrival at the airport we called the hotel to inquire about its free shuttle service. We were told to call back in ten to fifteen minutes to see if there was a driver available. We opted to take a cab instead of sticking around for a shuttle that may or may be running.
We arrived at the hotel shortly after and walked up to the front desk to inquire about checking in and before we could finish the sentence the man at the desk informed us quite abruptly that no rooms were available for check in until four o clock. He didn t bother to ask our name, check out reservation or offer a call or text when our room would be ready. With just over four hours until we could check in we asked if the hotel could hold our luggage. The same desk clerk pointed towards a sign and told us to check with valet.
At three we came back and we re told we could check in if we upgraded our room to a pool view for a nominal fee.
I ve stayed at plenty of Hyatt s before and I ve never had the service that we received today. I will not be staying at this Palm Springs location again, and would advise others to find a more civilized hotel with staff that s willing to help and/or accommodate its guests.
Great location but hotel is dated and definitely showing its age, needs a refresh.
Elevator was being repaired, but this was overshadowed by their great service! We had a wonderful time!
We stayed at Hyatt this past weekend for 2 nights . I am not sure if it s only because Covid, but some things were missing from the room : coffee packages from our room and cups from my friends room. Also, the sink had a big crack and the hotel was dated overall.
They advertise that is dog friendly, but there is no area outside designated to walk your dog, no bags or even a trash can.
The pool area is pretty small and there were not a lot of people at this time, so I can only imagine how it would be with a sold out hotel.
The room was clean and the AC was working very well ( considering we went during a heat wave and it was very hot outside).
The location is great and close to lots of things : 2 blocks away from Starbucks and a block away from the casino.
Very welcoming and attentive staff with a great location.
This is my first time staying here in Palm Springs. My parents swear by this place, my mother enjoys the finer things in life- within reason, of course. I would have to agree. Not the most opulent or luxuriously appointed place in town, but very nice, middle to upper crust and probably the most desirable location In all of Palm Springs. If it isn't 100 million degrees outside, everything is in walking distance. The views are great. The daily snack, beverage and cheese reception is a nice afternoon respite. I will probably stay here exclusively when visiting Palm Springs.
Very clean and quiet when I walked in. Most of the rooms that I could see were inside. Great location on the downtown strip.
Overall, a comfortable place. The lounge with the tables is very poorly organized, hard to find outlets for charging items. The staff is very nice, super helpful. Central to most things, but there are definitely nicer places to stay in Palm Springs
Thanks to Omar at the front desk I am having a terrific time. Everyone has been helpful .Currently Staying at the hyatt Palm Springs. J.N.
Decent hotel, but one of the elevators didn t work. Great location, next to shops and restaurants.
Very nice rooms, comfortable stay, friendly and helpful staff. Very open hotel overall, with its wide open spaces, and modern style. Would definitely be back next summer.
Everything looks nice, but the customer service isn't great, they messed up an order, and the breakfast/lunch food is definitely overpriced for what it is. The beds are comfy and the rooms are pretty nice and well furnished. I've heard more than a few customers complain about various things being wrong though.
The Staff makes this place! Is the property a bit dated? Yes. But it's clean, the rooms are large and comfortable!
My wife and I stay there once or twice a year, always a great experience.
Not to mention a fantastic location!
Large comfortable room with beautiful view of the mountains.
Great service the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Front desk the brown curly hair girl has attitude like she is a goddess......cnt
Six minute drive from the airport. It's right on a strip with loads of food. The pool was nice. Rooms have two TVs. A living room and bedroom. Has a fridge. Not a bad place to stay.
DO NOT stay here or PARK your CAR in Valet or Self park. Your vehicle will not be safe or watched. They do not have cameras. We stayed for one night for a wedding. We parked VALET because we had a box of tools LOCKED up on his bed truck. Well little did we know our car wasn't safe. We walked out to get our car Sunday morning to head back home and guess what?! My husband tool box was broken into and someone stole all his tools. He is a electrician and needs these tools to make a living! This is the Hyatt not a freaken motel. Then the hotel said they don't have cameras and that it's not their responsibility. They parked our car by freaking ramp so anyone could access it! Unbelievable! Oh then the front desk lady and Valet guy tells us that this happens all the time, Cars broken into and even a car has been stolen! So pick somewhere else where they care about their guest. This hotel isn't safe and we don't want it to happen to others.
This is a wonderful resort. The staff is incredibly sweet and accommodating. The rooms are well stocked with beautiful toiletries. The spa is ahhhh-mazing. It's a great location for golfers and perfect for families. They have an onsite babysitting facility, kid specific pools, and outdoor games for all. Walking through the resort in the evening is a must for you romantic types. Enjoy your stay at Hyatt Regency!
Very clean and well-kept. The outdoor bar can be very lively with the live entertainment and street fair going on.
Great location downtown. The separate living room/ office was a great feature. The only reason I wont give 5 stars is the bathroom could have been a little cleaner. Room is semi-updated.
Love this place. The executive suites are very nice. Great drinks at the bar. Friendly staff.
Excellent staff, great rooms. Very comfortable and reasonably priced.
beautiful location.. the elevators are really cool.
Clean facility, friendly staff. Laid back atmosphere.
The price is way off. Spent about 500 for two nights . Does not include breakfast , that costs extra and is WAY over priced. It's a joke. Happy hour was also a joke. Their parking situation is very inconvenient. You can't come and go as you please. When I did I has trouble getting a person to get my car from vallet. Looks are all this place has going for it. I won't be staying here again.
Beware! There is a credit card thief at the checkout desk with a card skimmer. Shortly after checking out yesterday (Fri May 19, 2017), several charges were made to my wife's card including at the hotel gift shop and restaurant.
Stayed at the Hyatt in Pal Springs 1St time there it wasn't all I expected as far as what I saw online. I think they need to clean the cushions from sofa and balcony chairs better and the pool is not that big. Wasn't all bad though their customer service and amenities included with your stay there are awesome. I also like the way their rooms are designed with a privacy door between the room and the livingroom.
Stayed along with another family (who paid the same price) and we ended up with a room half the size and was only available after 8 hours after check in (we checked in at 2pm). Then the staff were rude and unwilling to accommodate any changes. All cars must also be valeted so that you have to tip the drivers every single time you want to get your car. In addition, this meant that most mornings when you're trying to leave to go somewhere by car, you're stuck waiting in the lobby while the two valet drivers slowly retrieve 10 cars before you that are parked in a garage a mere 200 ft away. Most Hyatts are great, but this is most definitely not one of them.
The staff here were absolutely excellent. They definitely set the bar high for other places I will visit in the future. I felt truly taken care of in every way I could imagine. The valet service attendants were prompt and very friendly. They were startled by my fully packed car and made sure it was parked safely all night. The front desk staff were quick and informative and made sure that I knew where all the amenities were before I left to my room. I rode the elevator with several other guests and we were all shocked about how brisk and gentle the elevator ride was which probably sounds silly but man is that thing fast. Palm Springs as a whole place is like stepping back in time and the hotel respected the vintage vibe while providing high class finishes and clean elegant rooms. I was given a room with a large balcony looking out over the Main Street which is lovely. I included a photo of the view from the room. There was a busy bar across the street but I never heard any noise from it once I closed the sliding door. This hotel was wonderfully quiet and relaxing. It was also a pretty sizable room as far as suites go. The living room area was very sizable. I imagine there was space enough to pull out the sofa bed and still walk around it easily but I didn t need to try. My own bed was pretty firm and I tossed a fair amount during the night. It also had sunken spots where people had previously laid. Despite that small issue, I was really pleased with the experience. I really wanted to stay longer here and explore the town. I will have to return.
I've stayed at many Hyatt properties but the Palm Springs property didn't live up to my expectations. The beds were very comfortable, as always. The bathroom, however, was missing a plug in the bathtub. On closer inspection, there were long hairs under the plastic anti-slip mat & there was a visible ring in the tub. I usually like to take baths to relax at the end of the day, but this was unappealing. I called the front desk, but the man they sent up didn't know why he was there and had no cleaning supplies. In the end, it left me wondering how clean other parts of the room that hide dirt well (such as dark carpets, bedspreads) were. Given that rooms were listed at $300+ on the weekend night we were there, I expected more.
Decent rooms, free water bottles, and great customer service :)
I stood here once, loved every minute of it. The room was clean along with a great view of the city. Also I'd like to say the service was excellent, no problem with checking in and pool side service too. I plan to come for my 1st wedding anniversary.
Absolutely great service everybody so helpful downtown is such an amazing place
Very good service and first the hotel and palm springs very nice
Wow, THE WORST MEXICAN FOOD I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. There have also a very slow service, even though the waiter was very nice .
No guest parking is unheard of in the hotel industry. Not returning
Great location. Pool was cold. According to other guests, it's purposely chilled, but it was not pleasant to be in, even though it was 100 degrees outside. Hotel needs better upkeep. Very loud, old elevator. We went out of our way trying to use the stairs. Bathroom tub faucet leaked a steady stream of water. Bartender abruptly closed the bar at 9 p.m. on Saturday night.
