Awesome location, central to all the downtown restaurants and bars. Friendly and attentive staff from valet to desk staff, always asking to help and with big smiles. Shawn at the pool bar makes the best mango margaritas. Rooms are an excellent value, large size suites, flat screen TVs, nice clean rooms. (Rooms are a little noisy and could use more installation...but over all a solid value).

Pool area is VERY nice. Pool and whirlpool are simple but well kept. Great lounge chairs, day beds to use with plenty of cushions and towels. Two fire pits with plenty of seating. They have bikes to rent, but too expensive @$20/hr.

We love the location, the room was large and comfortable on the top floor with a wonderful view of the mountains behind. Unfortunately our experience was marred by a few problems. 2 of 3 elevators did not work , there was coffee and water on the day we arrived, but none on the 2nd day. We even called the front and were told it would be brought up, that never happened, we then spoke to a maid about both items, that didn't happened either. I do like that they are replacing the room bulbs with LEDs, unfortunately they choose to get 5k daylight type that gave the room all the appeal of a truck stop. It's starting to show its age, but they are building a new one down the street.

My room was very comfprtable with a beautiful mountain & swimming pool view. All the staff was friendly and happy wine hour was also amazing. The only down side is the walls. The wall with room door seem to be either connected to other rooms or it is a one gigentic structure so when someone slams the door, the entire structure was shaking making a loud noise. Other than that, it is an excellent experience.

We usually stay at a Renaissance when in the area but decided to try the Hyatt this trip because of it's convenient location for walking everywhere. We were not disappointed and impressed with the understated ambiance, staff service, and room with a great view of mountains, golf course, and pool. We will definitely book here again..

Don't waste your time here. The building is really old and the rooms are barely 2-star quality let alone 3-star. It was like walking into a hotel with a number attached to its name. The wallpaper was tearing and there were stains on most surfaces. The tub was discolored beyond repair and it was an overall nightmare. This hotel shouldn't claim to be the star level it is or have the name attached to it in a beautiful city when it's definitely of lower quality.

The only reason I'm not giving it a single star is because the staff is courteous and the location is very central. But there are other options around the area so don't spend a moment considering this hotel until they do room remodels.

The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. They have a daily complimentary happy hour with a variety of alcoholic beverages and delicious appetizers (the olive tapenade was the best!). They are within walking distance to restaurants, bars, spas and shopping. Only downfall was the soap scum ring in the bathtub. The front desk sent someone immediately. Turns out the tub needed to be treated with harsh chemicals. They offered us a different room, but was inconvenient because our friends were staying next door. They sent us a bottle of wine and a cheese/fruit plate for the trouble. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
*Looks like they may be under new ownership soon. Maybe they'll get a facelift? ;)

The room was lovely and very spacious with great views all around. The bed was very comfy and I slept like a baby. The pool area was well maintained and the pool itself was crystal clear clean. I love the fact that they have extensive pool hours (6am to 10pm)! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back.

Loved the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Elevators and carpet were not up to party with a place like this. Elevator was old and out of place. Carpets needed replaced 20 years ago.

Booked the room though priceline and only paid $213 Canadian for a night (it was a Sunday) while other hotels were way pricier. Everything was pretty amazing from start to finish. On arrival we asked the valet if there were other parking options and they actually gave us some suggestions which was lovely and unexpected. Tip: there is free overnight street parking in the back.

Checking in was quick and the staff were courteous. We got a room on the 6th floor with a view of the mountains and pool and the entrance was a living room then the bedroom was a full separate room. It was a pretty decent size.

The pool was large with a cooler of ice water. lots of chairs and places to sit. The free drinks and snacks were nothing to write home about but free.

My friend ordered the Kale salad at the pool which seemed pretty good although I can't comment on any of the food myself.

The location was amazing, its right on the main street (compared to the Ace which is pretty far away with super mediocre food). I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

First impression was great. Valet was awesome and the front desk clerk was very kind. The room showed a little wear. The bathroom tub faucet kept running. The power went out for about an hour which wasn't the fault of the hotel, just a big inconvenience. For the most part, the staff was friendly during our stay, but with the power outage we were unable to get a bottle of water from a vending machine and an employee told us to ask for one at the front desk and there wouldn't be a charge. They brought two bottles and on checkout, there was a charge for the water. Lastly, and the most frustrating, I had a gift card I requested to use when booking the room. I was told to present it upon checkout which I did. It was frozen because it was issued before they changed to Hyatt Worldwide so I had to call to get the card unfrozen. I was unable to talk to a person so I'm currently waiting for a response from the Hyatt to an email I sent them.

The suites are a generous size and offer great balconies. The location is excellent. The overall vibe is very dated and doesn't have that bright, desert openness. It feels a bit dark and corporate. It's a good option, but doesn't have that authentic Palm Springs flavor.

Nice exterior and lobby, hallways are dirty and rooms are dated with leaking sinks, multiple lamps/lights that don't turn on so you have to use just the over head lights and hairs that aren't yours already in the tub.

The staff was phenomenal. They got us in immediately after leaving an awful hotel down the way. Even after so many struggles to get here and us being completely exhausted and frustrated, they immediately took care of us, brought us a bottle of wine and just made everything so much more enjoyable.

We have stayed here many times over the years. We like this hotel. It's close to all the restaurants and shops downtown. The rooms are nice and big. The staff is very helpful and attentive. This trip we had a really good experience at the bar. Sean the bartender was awesome. There was one problem on this trip, our bed was very uncomfortable/hard. The bed felt like we were sleeping on the floor. My wife asked me to lift the bed up to tuck in the bottom sheet and found a wooden sign between the mattress and box Springs like it was stored there. We have never had a problem with the bed before so I think this may be just a fluke. This wouldn't stop us from returning. I told the staff about this concern and they apologized and said they would take care of it.

Ended up at the Hyatt Palm Springs instead of Hyatt Indian Wells (that was entirely my fault). I had come from the aiport and had no car and did not get any help from the front desk. I wasn't offered a taxi or any suggestion on how I should get there.

UNBELIEVABLY LOUD Hotel Alarm goes off at 2AM - False Alarm? Computer Glitch? - no explanation!

Excellent Staff, Excellent Location - but who is the idiot at Hyatt that decided to turn up the fire alarms so loud that it is the same as if a car had driven into our room at 2AM and stopped two feet from our bed - blaring the car horn full bore. My wife wakes up screaming, we don't know what's happening - no explanation - False Alarm? Computer Glitch? It runs for about 20 minutes before they turn it off. Come on Hyatt - I expect you to be a little smarter - use some discretion - there is Loud Enough (such as a home smoke detector) and then there is ridiculously stupid loud, and Hyatt, this experience was ridiculous.

Nice rooms and very helpful staff. We forgot a computer in out vehicle that had been valet parked and the baggage attendant literally ran down and ran back to get it for us. The breakfast was a decent buffet. There's also a casino resort a couple blocks away if that's your thing.

Overall bad experience. We had to pay a resort fee--it is a hyatt regency--not a resort. We had a room near the lobby--it was loud and the housekeeping vacuumed early in the morning! We never had glasses in the room- requested them 3 days in a row--third day--called housekeeping 3x and then, a manager--got a $50 credit--who cares! No attention to the customers. A lot of I don't know how to do that- or we cannot do it! huh? Tried to split the 4 nights for my colleague and I to get our hyatt points--no can do--hmm--have had it done many times before. Plus, I paid with a credit/debit card--they told me they COULD NOT run it as a credit--are you kidding me? I did it at the rental car place and I do it regularly at the gas station. No acknowledgement of being a Gold Card member-- was also told different prices for parking in the garage -- $13 at check in and $16 per day at check out! Will NOT ever stay there again and Hyatt will hear from me!!!!!!

Great staff......really service oriented. Yes the rooms are slightly dated, but that's part of the beauty of Palm Springs. A throwback to times gone by. Our suite (410) was excellent. Very large, living room, wet bar with large fridge. Nice large bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. King size bed, two 42" TV's and 30+ outlets (10 with USB plugs) for charging electronics. Pool area has a number of cabanas and plenty of lounge chairs.

Love the rooms here. I walked in and immediately see the sleeping area with two double beds. There's a window that looks out on the hallway that is reminiscent of a motel 6. But go a little further past the bathroom and there is a small living room area and a balcony that you can sit on. Very cool!! Rooms have a small coffee maker and fridge as well which makes it a perfect little setup.
