I came to Palm Springs for rest and relaxation. Everyone that was employed there, was so personable and had fantastic Customer Service skills. I really especially liked the bar tender Michelle!!!!... she was awesome!!!! To sum up my experience at the Hyatt... I would highly recommend it to everyone!

I'm going back for my birthday and for the 4th!!!

We have stayed here a few times with no problems. This time our tv didn't work and could not be fixed. We were told we would get a $20. Discount. Wi Fi was a problem to get going. When I contacted the front dest, he was rude than hung up on me. We have loved staying her but will NEVER stay her again!
Sad part was after the "tech" guy left I changed a setting on the tv button and the tv came in. Idiots!

A very welcoming and posh spot that makes anyone feel welcome. It is located central to everything downtown Palm Springs. Salt water pool and bar outside and lobby side restaurant and bar inside. The aesthetics in this place are amazing and transport you to another time and place.

As I was checking out I was prepared to make my review 10's across the board. But then I encountered probably the worst valet attendants working that morning shift. These two attendants stood there as my wife and I loaded our luggage and golf equipment onto our vehicle. They stood there speaking in spanish, unbeknownst to them that I understood every word they said, about not wanting to help us. When I was done loading the vehicle one of them came and tried to close the trunk, to which I said "Too Late, no thanks". I filled out the Hyatt's survey and mentioned the incident. The Operations Director - Josh Harper, responded in a template letter apologizing for the valet attendants behavior. Poor customer service accountability all around!

I have been coming here for many years. The new staff is not friendly, did not accommodate my online request for extra towels,pillows...etc. And we had to evacuate our room because of a fire warning and there was no staff to be seen. Plus they got my room type wrong.

Hotel is in terrible condition. This once beautiful 5 star hotel, is well past it's heyday. Time has not been well to this property. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone; one star hotels in area are likely better destinations. Our room had a toilet the would randomly deliver waste products to out room. The hotel is in very poor repair, our room, lock fell off the door, wall paper is coming off, faucets leak, toilet in not functioning properly, flooring is damaged and possible unsafe, ceiling is covered with water drains or damage, lights don't light. Just unmaintained and very poor condition! Although the valet staff was accommodating, the service ends as soon as you walk through the door. Front desk clerk services guests out of order without explanation. Food service is painfully slow. All in all one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at.

I enjoy the Hyatt Palm Springs. It is a hidden jewel in the desert. It's my "get away from it all" place.

The hotel is serene for me with elements of clean quiet rooms, friendly staff (smiles on their face), and good food all in one place. The location of hotel is within walking distance to nice shopping, eateries, and interesting culture events.

Rooms were not great, air-conditioning was bad, there was no air circulation. Was feeling very suffocated. Bathroom vents weren't good enough. No Queen beds, had to sleep on full beds. Room layout was bad.

Hotels lack sufficient staff to handle basic cleaning and parking needs and the room service is lousy. I think they should rename the hotel to a holiday inn, because it definitely does not provide Hyatt level service that other Hyatt Hotels generally provide.

The Beautiful Hyatt Resort Hotel is right on the Main Street...PALM CANYON DRIVE...Right in the Heart of Palm Springs where all the action is happening! Fabulous Swimming pool, nice dining inside and outside. Hotel Rooms are large with 2 Room Mini Suites and Air Conditioning works Great!

Beds were amazing and slept like a baby, with that said it wasn't up to par on the luxury front. AC wasn't cold, bugs from outside were in our room and we had to switch rooms at night. Location is perfect everything is walking distance and staff was friendly. Kids loved pool area and I loved the convenience of the location. I would stay again but I would make sure AC worked in room before bed..

This is a pretty cool hotel, a little dated and we visited in the off season so not many people there. We did enjoy a good nights rest and you can't go wrong with a Hyatt stay. Parking was a bit of an issue, but we managed to find a spot that worked for us off the street. All in all it was a good stay.

Love this place. Ask for Dawn she will take care of you. This says its a 3 star hotel but I would give it a 5 just for her service. We got complementary wine and fruit and we were just there the weekend. They are so nice and gay friendly at this hotel. I am all Hyatt now :)

My stays at Hyatt are always enjoyable! It's conveniently located to downtown shops and restaurants. While you can use the helpful valet service, street parking is also available. The hotel offers 2 bottles of water to get you off to a good start if you go out and walk. A happy hour with welcome drinks and snacks treats you at 5pm daily. There's a hotel restaurant with offerings from breakfast through dinner. You can't go wrong!

I stopped at this Hyatt with my family on the way to San Francisco for the night today. I was excited because I expected it to be a good experience and relieving after driving 12 hours from AZ. Instead - we were disappointed by the discourteous woman at the front desk named Darlene. She was nasty from the start. No warm welcome and a smile - reassuring us that she's glad we chose her hotel over the dozens and dozens in Palm Springs. Instead she was unhelpful and seemed irritated with our presence. First thing - couldn't find our reservation and snootily told us we weren't booked at her hotel but at the other Hyatt. My mothers last name is hyphenated so I said - did you just check under one of the names? She again - was snide and angrily typed it into her computer. Then picked up the phone and started talking to another customer. She wanted to distract us from the fact that she found the reservation. My mom offered to give her our Hyatt membership number to help find the reservation and she rudely said I don't need that. After finally checking in - I asked her to hold a key for my sister at the front desk who was walking our dog and she looked at me like I asked her to give me her first born! To top it off - we didn't get our luggages for an hour and a half!!! Asked her twice and she brushed us off. Just disappointing for me because we were looking forward to our stay as we always stay at Hyatts when we travel. The hotel room was super nice. They just seemed super short staffed. We went down for dinner and it was pretty busy. Unfortunately there was one woman manning the entire place which made the experience super slow. However she did her best and was extremely nice to us as well as apologetic for the delay. Gave her an extra tip for being so diligent even tho there were at least 20 guests in the place.

decent rooms that make use of the space. location is pretty handy for small family gatherings, which is what i was staying for; right on a busy street with lots of little restaurants and stores. service wasn't bad, either.

Location of the hotel is conveniently located off major road. Around 10 minutes drive from PSP. Hotel rooms are spacious and has living room & bedroom separation. Complimentary Starbucks coffee packs are refilled each day with bottled water. There's no spa service in the hotel but exists a pool, hot tub & bar. Bike rental is also available along with paid valet service. No parking garage is available so be aware if you have a vehicle. Over night valet is $25 per night.

Definitely not a kid friendly- family friendly environment. If you want a night out with friends, or a place to have all the cocktails imaginable pool side. This is the place to be.

If there was a 0-star rating I would have chosen it. I checked into this property on 11/09/19 for an annual conference for three days, the conditions and service were so poor I had to check out after two. Brent, the gentleman who checked me was very cordial, however everything went downhill after I checked in starting with a dirty hallway leading to my room for two straight days.
I had a leaking faucet for the whole time, the room wasn t clean, there were feces on the ceiling of the bathroom, the tv wasn t working for a whole day.
On day two, I went down to the receptionist s desk to report this, a very apologetic gentleman from maintenance was able to resolve the issue with the tv but not the leaking faucet. On that occasion and another I asked the receptionist to speak to a manager, which was simply acknowledged but not followed through.
At checkout I requested a call from the GM to discuss my poor experience leading to an early checkout, I was assured I would get one. The hope was to discuss my poor experience so I didn t have to share it online but it s been 4 days and no such call.
Do not consider this place on your future travels.

Excellent service across the board: everyone from the friendly valet guys, front desk & housekeeping. A genuine & sincere interest in making our stay great. True story, I casually mentioned it was my girlfriends bday & front desk manager (Oscar?) sent us complimentary champagne & chocolate covered strawberries!!! Above & beyond hospitality!

The staff at the Hyatt Palm Springs are super friendly and really care that you are having a terrific time! We will definitely stay there again! It is also really nice that the hotel is right in the middle of downtown so we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go!

As soon as I walked in we were greeted by a friendly staff member. He was fun and welcoming. We dropped our bags off got changed and came down for a drink. Our bartender was funny, generous, and a great host! I want to say thank you to Hector for making our stay here enjoyable from the start!

when we visited this place few years back it was pretty run down. I'm not sure if they did any renovation recently. it's like popcorn ceiling, cracked lamp shades, old TV with bad reception etc.... just overall run down

Best location, best amenities, great bar, great rooms, cheap valet. Only downside is the pool is pretty small and there isn't a lot of chairs so if you go on a Friday/Saturday night in good weather it will be packed.

Staff is awesome. Staff is kind & accommodating. Hotel is overdue for renovation. Looks like room decor last updated when "Pretty Woman" came out. Very outdated & worn down hotel. Workout room was hot, limited A/C, blinds did not work. Great location. Elevator was under repair & the operating elevator temporarily broke down with people on board. Not good for those individuals stuck! Plenty of eating establishments with in walking distance. Beds were comfortable & sheets clean.

I wish I had read the other reviews before I stayed here for three nights (I tried to move hotels, but they were all booked). We started off with moving to another room after the bed in the first room fell off the frame. The second room was almost just as bad. There was water damage on the ceiling and the toilet ran unless you jiggled the handle. The water pressure was terrible. We could hear yelling coming from the bar across the street and there were people above us doing karaoke all night. The hotel permits children running around at 11 o clock at night and banging on the piano in the common room downstairs. Rooms are dated and in need of renovation. We complained but I don't think the staff cares to be honest.
