The bar at the lobby of the Hyatt is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a few drinks.

Tiny gift shop, but there are lots of shops just out the hotel.

Great hotel. Very clean room and friendly staff. And everything you'd want to do is within walking distance

These folks at the Hyatt Palm Springs are SIMPLY THE BEST!!...you would expect good service at a quality establishment such as this, but these people have found a way to go above and beyond, consistently, and they do it with a kindness and care that makes you feel, quite simply, like you are long lost family. Case in point...last night my partner and I went to a club, and at 2 in the morning, found ourselves unable to get a cab back to the hotel...finally in desperation, I called the front desk and asked if they could offer any assistance. Esther (at the front desk) told me that the shuttle was done for the evening, but said "hold on, let me call you right back, I need to check on something"..in moments she got right back to me and informed me that Albert, one of the valets, would be by to pick us up within 10 minutes...mind you, he had already clocked out, and was on his own time...he arrived, brought us back to the Hyatt, with such a cheerful attitude....you would have thought we were treasured friends....I am still overwhelmed by the kindness shown.
To add...I am a person who DOES NOT (obviously can't say that anymore..) write reviews or answer the gazillion requests one gets online for surveys...
One last point...we have traveled quite a bit in our lives...this is not our first rodeo, as far as staying in an "upper tier" establishment...that being said, we now have no desire to explore other options, no matter the "tier" of hospitality.....with utmost sincerity and gratitude, Wendi and Rebecca

Had a great time as always when we visit this hotel. Really like how the upgrades have turned out. The room was very nice, clean, and well kept. We enjoyed our time at the pool. Drinks and atmosphere was very nice. Staff was very helpful and professional. Location is great to walk around and see the downtown area. We'll be back. Great weekend getaway for the wife and I.

Nice hotel but like a lot of the hotels it is dated. I stood in the presidential suite and I didn't feel it was even nice enough for a Butler. Poor wifi even in the suite. Great location, large room.... But just average after that.

The service was great! The room was big and very clean, the breakfast was very good, the pool is warm. No available parking for guests and the WIFI was disconnected most of the time.

This hotel is in a great location in the heart of Palm Springs and has great views of N. Palm Canyon Drive and the mountains. My last stay here a few weeks ago I got an upgrade to a suite and I was rather sad about the decor that looked like it was last updated in the 80 s and not maintained very well.

Comfortable accommodations. Nice happy hour for guests.

Our favorite place to stay when we are in Palm Springs. Clean, large rooms! Each room is a suite that comes w a good-sized living room area w a large couch and a separate bedroom. Upgrade to the pool view. It comes w a small balcony with 2 comfy lounge chairs. They also have a cocktail hour and dj during select weekends. Plus, it is RIGHT in the middle of Downtown Palm Springs and a block away from a local casino. Excellent stay!

Booked this hotel because of the great location downtown. The place is dated and worn which I can excuse. It's also very dirty. Filthy carpets, dust and filth in the bathtub. Filthy pool. The final straw was that the jacuzzi didn't work. Again, something that can happen.... We were tired and aches after some busy weeks at our business. One of the main goals of our trip was to be able to relax by the pool and enjoy the great weather then soak in the jacuzzi. Notified the pool bar and they told me engineering had been notified but "he" was very busy. Seems like 1 maintenance guy for the whole large facility. Asked them again after an hour with the same result. Went to the front desk and they said they would get right on it. Another hour passed and I went back to the desk. I told them I would have to cancel my 2nd nights reservation if the jacuzzi wasn't going to be working. The response was "if that's what you need to do, go ahead and cancel. Looked on line and found another place down the street for less than that $225 I was paying. Beautiful, clean and modern room. Amazing historic facility. Hot jacuzzi. Riviera was great.

Disappointed with the Hyatt staff. Was planning a stay at one of their very fancy and pricey facilities in the area. Not happening now. Seems like this corporation has gone to the birds... Bar hosts were great. Bell service great. Location good. Front desk, maintenance, and the Hyatt Corp were awful.

The Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating with everything we needed. The rooms are very comfortable and large. We did have to take out 4 crickets the first night but, it's the desert! We actually extended our stay an extra day. We will stay here again.

Nice place for a quiet stay. Lots of families with kids stay here. For a party scene go to Hard Rock or Riviera.

I have NEVER had an experience like I had in this Hotel. First, it took them two hours to find my reservation. The room was not clean or ever cleaned. I stayed there Monday through Friday, and I found a gummy bear candy and sand on a rolling chair they had in the room. In the bathroom sink faucet, cold water was dripping water from the gasket every time I used the cold or hot water. I had to ask three times for toilet paper until I went at the front desk to pick it up .They also charge $12.00 per day for parking, which they did not disclose. When I called for an explanation today, 6/30/20, someone said that it is for parking. And I asked him "Is that sign?" He said "Its at the front of the Hotel." I saw a sign that said Valet parking for $12.00 dollars and he that's the sign. I again told him that was for Valet parking he just replied with "well thats the sign". I DO NOT recommend The Hyatt In Palm Springs for their BAD SERVICE!!! I will NEVER stay there again.

Great location and clean/normal rooms. I understand their needing to compete on price but having a $23/night hidden fee for "amenities" that were neither disclosed or identified when asking about the bill is simply wrong. This may still be a good deal for you with the $23/night hidden fee (the hotel itself is a normal nicer hotel) -- just take it into account. Both good and bad business behavior deserves recognition.

It was not bad. It's a luxury hotel. There is a free public parking in the basement of the hotel. There is a trekking course near the hotel. The pool is smaller than I thought. It is like a sightseeing spot right in front of a hotel (NYPD?), But it is loud all night.

Need lots of Maintenance Repairs. Elevators are slow and buttons are loose. Bathroom in our room was clogged, slow. Needs los of updating.

Good hotel right in downtown Palm Springs and nice and spacious rooms with super nice bathrooms!

Very nice, but not the most up to date Hyatt. Large suite rooms, large balconies, descent gym and two bar/restaurants that have outside seating. Walkable to most PS locations, but free bikes are also available.

Great downtown location in the middle of the restaurants and shops. Rooms are all suites, very good sized. Convenient free public parking right under the hotel. The pool is nice but can get crowded. Nice big common areas in the indoor it the atrium in the hotel.

The team was amazing and helpful. The hotel needs some basic maintence, however our stay was very enjoyable.

This hotel and the employees are great especially Maggie i had an encounter with her in the restroom when i unknowingly left my phone and she came outside to give it to me before i left. This hotel is amazing (:

Good place to stay while you are in Palm Springs. Rate are good and room was great. Front desk staff was very nice. Fitness center is not super equipped but better than most of the places.

A bit older in some aspects, but pretty nice. Lots of complimentary services available.

Edna was fantastic at the front desk. Answered all our questions in a courteous and professional manner. The Hyatt Palm Springs is a beautiful hotel with a great staff. Even the house maids welcomed us. Can't ask for better.

It looks AWESOME!! Yet so lonely and quiet like when I worked there!!!

We recently stayed at the Hyatt for a golf vacation and had a great time. The golf courses on site are great and extremely convenient. The valet staff made dealing with a bunch of golf bags and luggage extremely easy. The food in the restaurants was fantastic and they even had a great band in the lobby bar. Everything was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Everything about this hotel is great. The friendly staff, the huge rooms, the fact that they have a smoking option, the great breakfast buffet, its central location. You name it and the Hyatt Palm Springs has got it.

We went for our 16th anniversary and were not disappointed. The staff (Dawn at the front desk in particular) took better than great care of us. Our room was spectacular. The pool, on the other hand, is very small for a Palm Springs hotel pool. Still...5 stars.

It s old but like many old things does it s Jon as a hotel really well. Good staff. Lovely pool complete with jacuzzi and hummingbirds. Rooms are great size with lovely views of the mountains. Perfect location for eating out.

We decided to stay in Palm Springs while in the area in Indio for a concert and Hyatt has always been a good bet. The staff was friendly and attentive from the front desk clerk to the valet attendants. Though somewhat well used/worn the furniture and suite was well kept as was the rest of the hotel. The pool is a bit on the small side though, so get there early. Had a nice view of the downtown scene on one side of the suite and of the mountains on the other. The location is ideal for shops and eateries.

Overall, good experience. However, thr hotel needs upgrades.

I love staying at the Hyatt in downtown Palm Springs. I ve visited the property twice in 2019 and just booked another upcoming trip in May! The staff is very nice and helpful. Jose at the bar is a sweetheart! He recognized me from my last visit and always knows how to make the perfect margarita! There are tons of hotels in Palm Springs but this is by far the best in the area with everything so local and a friendly staff

WiFi doesn't work at all!!! Not even a little bit. Nothing on my phone works. Won't be back.

I stay at this hotel every time I'm in town for work and have been a loyal customer for quite some time. On my most recent stay here, they stuck me in the rooms outside of the hotel 400s and the music at night is ridiculously loud. Not sure why they even bother using these rooms but they must know the noise problem is real. It's amazing they would stick a loyal customer in a room like this. My have to consider alternative options next time I am in town.

Really nice hotel, but what made it a great experience was the staff. My fiancee and I were wowed at how welcoming and pleasant everyone was. They even got us a complementary gift on our first night.

We go to Palm Springs, California most frequently and the Hyatt has always been our home from home.

Nicely appointed rooms and if on ground floor be sure to request a room with its private Sun-bed within feet from the pool.

If staying through a Thursday Evening- exactly outside on the Canyon Avenue is a very fine street market- however as I write this review (7/31/2020) I am unaware of the markets status due to current conditions.

We always stay at Hyatt within and never been happier. I wish you a wonderful visit to beautiful Palm Springs.

Nice rooms, friendly staff, beautiful views. Don't like that valet parking is pretty much the only option.

Staying at the Cabana room is a vacation on it's own.

It is Ok and without the fire we will be staying here. We are afraid to get trap.

We opted for a guaranteed early check in at 12 for a $20 fee. My family including 3 kids drove up early and we re told early check in was NOT a guarantee and was just a way for the hotel to get a idea of check in times. WTH?! That s a pretty lame excuse! Very frustrating experience for the entire family especially for the kiddos who were so anxiously awaiting the pool. I gave it 2 stars for the location. Good location as it s close to everything.

Lovely room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. Resolved a billing issue quickly.

Clean place right on the downtown Blvd. Convenient. But has no parking except for valet. Expensive valet.

Rate was good, rooms spacious but showering horrible experience due to low water pressure, vanity sink drainage clogged not good at all. Public parking next door and charging $27 per day not good.

Everything at Hyatt Palm Springs was on point. Our service was great - everyone there was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, functional, and stylish. Everything truly was perfect! They also had a shuttle service with the best driver ever! Manny went out of his way to accommodate us and took us everywhere we needed to go! Overall it was an amazing stay. We most certainly will be back!

Great place to stay in the heart of palm springs. Quieter pool than the Marriott or Hilton.
