Hoffman Audi Review

Not happy with my experience at all. I was happy to find a beautiful used BMW X5 on their lot and chose theirs over one at the BMW dealer because of how mint the condition was. I moved forward with the deal and when I came to pick it up, there was a huge scratch down to the metal in one of the doors not there before. To paint that would cost me an arm and a leg and all they ve offered is to spot treat it which will look terrible considering the size and depth of the scratch. They also racked on an extra 3% from the verbal interest rate I was given in the contract which I didn t notice until I got home (my fault for trusting the verbal agreement and not looking). Ripped me off with GAP insurance, told me for a fee they could remove the ball from my hitch of the vehicle I traded (literally a pin that s removed and that s it). And to top it all off, my license is suspended thanks to them not getting the registration sent to me in fair time. I ve had their dealer tag since the day before Thanksgiving! Let me tell you how inconvenient it is to have a suspended license with my daughter, a 1.5 year old in my care full time. The lack of communication and urgency on their end is unreal! Not a happy customer. Still waiting!!!!!

The service at Hoffman Audi is great. My car was ready ahead of schedule and everyone works hard to make sure the customer is 100% satisfied.

Although Covid has changed the way to buy a vehicle my overall experience was good. It took about 4days for sales to contact me post the test drive. Once that got going things went better. The team was easy to work with. TY loving my new ride!

I go to Hoffman Audi specifically over any other dealership because the Service Department is the backbone of the entire operation. My soul Service Advisor is Athena Lindquist. It really doesn't get any better!

In early December 2016 my son that lives in Texas stated that he wanted to buy his mom, my wife, a new car for Christmas. My other sons and I were charge with doing the leg work here in CT. I knew that she was fond of the Audi Q5. I started out at Wallingford Audi in Wallingford, CT. I walked around the show room for about ten minutes and not one sales person approach me. I was opening and closing doors and hatch backs, even taking pictures of the stickers. I then went to the lot for about five minute, still no one approached me. I immediately drove to Hoffman Audi and I was greeted by salesman Dylan as I entered the showroom. I explained that there going to be an unusual circumstances in the purchase because everything was going to be done long distances. Dylan was knowledgeable about all the ins and outs to make this happen. Dylan did go to bat in negotiating and good deal and even discovered an extra incentive because of my son's status. There was a content back forth between Hoffman, Texas, my other sons and me but we were able to bless my wife on Christmas morning

Dani J. Sayegh was a great support during my time at Audi! I wasn't in the very best situation and when I walked into the dealer. Dani reassured me he was going to do everything possible to help me. He was right....he helped me not only calm my anxious nerves but he also helped me realize what my needs were and worked with me to get the best vehicle. Rocky and the maintenance crew did a great job on my car! The waiting room is also very comfortable with wifi, TV & snacks.

Prompt service for a minor issue - nail in my tire. Didn't take advantage of waiting room or shuttle but enjoyed same services when I was bringing my Saab. As long as they keep it up, I'll keep going:)

First visit to Hoffman since I bought a 2015 Allroad earlier this year (CPO with extended warranty). Service advisor took the time to understand my primary issues (rattling sunroof and poor cell phone call quality). Both repaired under warranty or "goodwilled". Also did an oil change and inspection which happened to be due. Only problem not resolved was Sirius XM audio quality, which is seriously lacking in this Audi compared to my other vehicles (problem was miscommunicated as a reception problem, which it isn't). Offered to have me speak with foreman to resolve but no time. Loaner was clean with no issues. Communication from service advisor was frequent and accurate.

In my recent purchase of a new Audi A4 (a replacement for a 10 year old version), Peter Helou was an exceptional sales representative at Hoffman Audi. He made sure that all of the aspects of the process that can detract from the fun and joy of purchasing a new car were minimized, exceeding my expectations. I also did not feel "abandoned" once the sale was complete. He continued to be available to answer questions and for instructional follow up visits. I highly recommend Hoffman Audi, their trained staff, and specifically Peter. Thank you all!

I went for a tutorial with Peter Devylder and he was fantastic as I had no idea how to operate a lot of the electronics in the car! I would have him as my salesman any day as he is not just about the car sale, he seems to really car about Hoffman customers and those that even just use their service !

I love Hoffman Audi....I just leased my fourth Audi A4 from their great team. The last three, I leased over the phone! Though I live an hour and a half away, the team at Hoffman's has always been so wonderful in terms of negotiating a price, arranging delivery and providing customer care that the distance has been worth it! This time Stacey was a delight. We negotiated a deal in one easy phone call and Stacey arranged all the details making the whole process a seamless pleasure.

This is my second time getting a car from Hoffman Audi, and each time I'm not disappointed with the overall experience. The salesman (Johnny), was very personable, helpful, and up front throughout the whole process. I'm not one to try and play a back and forth game with a salesman, I just want things to be straight forward, and his actions ensured that. The follow up and ongoing support has been fantastic as well.

Had a horrible experience at Audi of Wallingford, went up to Hoffman and couldn't have been happier. I test drove on Friday morning, went away for the weekend and Stacey answered all my questions by email, even on her day off. We signed the deal on Monday when I returned! Definitely would do business with her and Hoffman again!

After having a deal fall through at a nearby dealer, I decided to work with Hoffman Audi over an hour away. My choice was a good one. Kyle was my sales person as well as Adrian for some negotiations. Kyle is an excellent sales professional. He was in contact with me promptly via email and telephone, and he knew what he was doing.

I would not hesitate to complete a no frills no nonsense sale again in the future and I would recommend Hoffman Audi to anyone.

I would never do business with this dealer. They sold me a car with frame damage they fixed and claimed they knew nothing about it..

Few words and phrases that best describe our experience - transparency, accommodating, exceeded expectations.

From the beginning. Found Q7 online. Met my wife's "fussy" criteria. She has very specific wants/needs in vehicle preference - which I suppose is understandable when making an investment used primarily to transport and cater to our three children.

Had no previous relations w dealership prior to this engagement.

After calling to confirm car availability we were told to connect w Alfonso once we arrived at dealership. Off the bat Alfonso seemed like good guy. Professional yet personable. A few of our questions weren't easy and he took his time to answer and articulate and found resources for clarity when needed. This is what most of us would hope for when working any type of business transaction

During the first visit a sales manager, Pete, also swooped in a time or two when needed. At this point it was prior to negotiations so I basically viewed this as him making himself available and to support Alfonso on an item or two but certainly not overbearing

Off to a good start

As we progressed and went into negotiations Pete and Alfonso seemed transparent. I'm a simple human. I don't like ambiguity - there didn't seem to be any. Straight forward, effective, prompt. We landed on a deal that was appropriate for all parties.

Where the ball was really hit out of the park was after all the agreements were made and paperwork was to be signed. My wife, the three kids and I all came to the dealership on a Saturday morning. Our kids are 4, 2 and 5 weeks.... As one would expect signing paperwork and asking last minutes questions while entertaining the kids was slightly "challenging" ... or it should have been anyways. This is where Pete and Alfonso really went above and beyond. They were both amazing. There were times where Pete was in showroom cars w the 2 and 4 yr while my wife and I were doing paperwork. There were times when Alfonso was pushing our stroller around the showroom w the 5 WK old and the 2 yr old while my wife and I were tied up. Alfanso also watched the 2 yr old for a while as we were flipping car seats from one car to the other.

Many other people on staff helped w the kids as well - not all the credit goes to Pete and Alfonso but they both stood out miles beyond what we could have ever asked for. While it's easy to say the sale had already been finalized (hand shake anyways) and this should be expected, trust me, they were incredible.

They aren't just good salesmen. They are good people

In all - there's plenty more to the overall dealer relationship that will have to be reviewed at a later time but we're certainly off to a good start

Best dealer experience I've ever had! Bryan Hallahan made the entire process so easy and pleasant. There was no sales pressure and Bryan kept me informed from the time I ordered my Audi S5 to the day it was delivered. He was very patient, answering all my questions and explaining every detail of using my new S5. He had all the paperwork ready when I arrived so there was no waiting. I dropped off my trade in, sipped a cup of tea, reviewed the features with Bryan, signed the papers, and drove off with a full tank of gas! I love that I didn't have to worry about anything - no surprises, no nonsense!! I would absolutely recommend Hoffman Audi and would not hesitate to purchase from them again.

I have been taking my Audis for service to Hoffman Audi of East Hartford for the past 8 years and have had nothing but a great experience every time. I have worked with Rob Hlasyszyn for most of my service needs and he is a true asset at this dealership. His professionalism and willingness to help is fantastic. Rob, consistently keeps me informed about the progress of my vehicle's service whenever I drop off my car and goes above and beyond to make sure I am happy with the results. I tend to have complicated requests when I drop off my car and Rob never flinches. Everything is performed as asked 100% of the time!

I am very protective of my cars, but I have no hesitation leaving my them with Rob. I can't say enough good things about him and Hoffman Audi. Keep up the good work!

I recently purchased an Audi R8 and needed to have a new exhaust installed on it. I did not hesitate to contact Rob Hlasyszyn for the job. As one can imagine, I baby my new toy and felt confident that Rob and his team would take good care of my car and perform the installation flawlessly. I just picked up the car today and everything was done exactly how I wanted it.

I have now used Rob for all of my Audis for over 10 years and there is no one else I would work with when my cars need work done. Thanks again Rob!

Few years back I bought my car with the Hoffman group and it was a great experience. I recommended my cousin to get her car there, which she did, and unfortunately did not have the same experience as I. She was given a car with a clean carfax and after the car was purchased found out the carfax was not updated at the time. In fact, the car was in an accident and sadly went through the Hoffman group to get fixed. unfotunatly, they have not been very responsive with her. After this experience I don t think my family and friends will be doing business with the Hoffman group.

The service department of Hoffman Audi is one of the best I have ever visited. They are helpful in recommending future service options, are up front about their fees, and the end result helps keep your car performing well. I have two Audi sedans in our family and one has high mileage and is older and they take care of it and keep it running. It was actually my experience with my first Audi at Hoffman Audi Service that lead me to buy my second one and continue to have them both serviced there. Rocky (in their department) is extremely professional, helpful, and really cares about his customers.

I recently bought an S3 from Brandon Chin at the East Hartford store and my experience was excellent. I felt like they were being completely honest and up front with me about all aspects of the deal. I also felt like they gave me a fair price for the car and a fair price for my trade-in vehicle. In addition, I had some unusual logistical circumstance to deal with and they bent over backwards to accommodate me. This is a very professional dealership and they love performance cars as much as I do. They talk the talk and walk the walk. I would definitely buy from Hoffman Audi again.

Arrived on time for my appointment and was greeted professionally by my service consultant, who walked me through the process. My issue was instantly addressed under warranty and I was also informed that I could save a fair amount of money by enrollment in Audicare. Excellent visit that was handled in less than 30 minutes while I waited in the comfort of their waiting lounge.

We went to Hoffman Audi just for a test drive as we were going back and forth between the X5 and the new 2017 Q7. After driving the car we knew the one we wanted. The sales man Peter Helou was great. He located the exact car we wanted within a week. I had reached out to 2 other dealers and they could not come through. The price was great, the trade in was fair and the deal was very smooth. I'm very impressed.

Went in for a quick removal of wheel locks from the previous owner. The service staff was easy to talk with and took care of the issue at a suprisingly low price in my opinion. They even dealt with the old rusty lug bolts I gave them in order to not have to buy new ones which I appriciated. Being someone who usually does my own work I appriciate when the staff is willing to listen and doenst push anything. I can honestly say this is the first pleasant experience I have had at an Audi dealership and I didn't even buy the car from them. After the work was done I went down to purchase some parts and found the employees in that area equally as helpful. Over all great experience.

Post sale meeting with Finance person was also very nice! Expected many extras to be pushed over and over, and was pleasantly surprised he accepted no means no and helped expedite the process and get me in my new car fast!

He seems to always go the extra mile to satisfy us and keep us up to date on our vehicle s progress from factory to delivery. He has always helped us setup our new car s electronics and familiarize us with all the new features and he follows up with us after our purchase. I worked with Dylan Bigge of Hoffman Audi and had a very positive experience. In terms of learning about the A4 and the business end of buying a car that had to be built, I found him most helpful and available.

I like the car very much and am still learning some of its features and capabilities.

I am a little disappointed as I had my service done recently and the following day my windshield fluid light came on indicating I needed more. I have a service sheet in front of me that states all fluids were topped off . I am thinking of taking it another place to be sure all other fluids have in fact been topped off.

If I could give less than 0 stars I would. I will never return and give my business to this dealer again. Would rather drive to Danbury Audi than deal with these clowns again.
While my previous car was in for service the front clip was stolen off of it while in the parking lot. Complete disrespect and unprofessional behavior from the Service manager after this incident. I would never recommend anyone to go here.

We have had 12 Audi's Not all dealers are created equal. Hoffman Audi went above and beyond. Steve Steller was the most professional Audi rep ever. I give him a list of what I was looking for and BOOM signed the papers and pickup in less then 7 days. I was in and out in under 35 mins. I work 6 days a week and live 1.5 hrs away. Thank you to Steve S., Zach, and Joshua for being such professional and understand the value of time management.

I recently leased a 2016 Audi A3 from Hoffman Audi in East Hartford. Initially, I was in the market for a used vehicle. After meeting and discussing my options with Brandon Chin, my sales rep, I determined that leasing was a better option for me at this point (I like to change vehicles!). Brandon and Dani Sayegh worked with me to ensure that I was comfortable with the payment and the closing transaction was a smooth and pleasant experience. The vehicle was detailed and ready to go! The day I picked up my car I was in and out of the dealer in no more than 45 minutes and that included a comprehensive tutorial about my new vehicle! I am loving everything about this car and I would highly recommend Hoffman Audi to anyone looking for an interactive and friendly buying experience!

Physically, the dealership is fine, but the service is average at best. It seems that people walking in to get their car serviced are not treated nearly as nice as people walking in to buy a car. As you walk in through the drive-in service bay, there is no one to greet and point you to the right direction. You wait, standing in the middle of the hall waiting for someone to come and when they finally do, they assist in the bare minimum way. I ve been to Volkswagen dealerships with much better service.

Brought my car in for the 55,000 mile service and to fix the sunroof. The service staff was great. I received a loaner and was in and out quick.

SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND

Brought my 2011 A6 in for its 65,000 mile service and when I picked up my car I noticed a raddle that seemed to come from the dashboard. My first thought was that something might have been left loose while the vehicle was being serviced. I called the service department and was able to get an appointment with in a few days. When I arrived I was greeted politely by a service advisor and I explained the problem and let her know I would wait while they diagnosed the noise I was hearing.

The waiting area as always was clean and comfortable and I was able to do some work on my laptop while I waited and even enjoyed a fresh cup of coffee while waiting. After about an hour the Service Advisor came back and let me know problem solved. She told me a clip on the Sun Visor had come loose and needed tightening. When I heard this I knew this wasn t a problem that happened when the car was being serviced it most likely already existed and I never noticed it until I had the vehicle was in for service. I was handed the paperwork with my key and was told no charge and while you were waiting we washed your car also. Your car is out front thank you for doing business with Hoffman Audi

I brought my car in for its 75K service as well as breaks (front & back). Hoffman had a loaner ready and I was on my way to work in no time. When I picked up my vehicle and started to drive home, there was an issue. I called Hoffman and their response was fantastic! I live an hour from their East Hartford facility so they sent a tow truck and two service techs to my house with a loaner from another store, first thing the next morning. Within an hour the problem was solved and at the end of the day they brought my car back to my house and picked up the loaner. Sometimes things don t go as planned but Hoffman made that their problem and not mine.

Had to have my car, which I bought elsewhere, inspected for a service contract I was buying. It was the Audi brand service contract, and because my car was out of factory warranty, I needed an inspection first. Firstly, they managed to squeeze me in early in the morning into a full schedule on the last day of the month. And secondly, the dealership is located right off I-84, near the junction of 84 & 91(although without nav, it gets confusing to find once you get off the highway). Every last person who took care of me or that I passed in the store was pleasant. The waiting area has really nice, comfortable seats with optional little desktops or just cup holders in them. And as soon as my car was taken in, I was given a breakfast menu with a variety of breakfast sandwiches I could pick from, complimentary (apparently there is a catering co behind the dealership that they order from all day). The service was fast and thorough, and the advisor was informative. The business managers, Josh and Drew, made every effort to find me the best price on my service contract as well, by plugging in different terms and deductibles to find a comfort zone for me. Outstanding all-around experience!

Got my A4 here from sales person named Donna back in 2008 it's still running strong.

I have to rewrite my review after a recent unprofessional and bad service experience at Hoffman Audi. I purchased the car at 33K miles and was convinced by the sales team to purchase the AUDI CARE maintenance package to save money in the future. I bought the 45k and 55k AUDI care packages for around $800. In two years time when I went for the 45k service I was told that the CARE packages had expired in an year after purchasing the car. This means I was supposed to get both 45k and 55k services done within a year. This was never communicared to me when purchasung the car. After several attempts (10 or more calls over several weeks at least of which the service never returns your calls) to get help from hoffman Audi, I was offered a 15% discount on a $350 service. The experience with the service department was nothing short of terrible and they did not care to make it right for a customer.

I stopped in a few weeks ago with the goal of trading in my truck and purchasing my first brand new vehicle, but had absolutely no idea what kind of vehicle I wanted. I met Ron and explained my situation to him and how picky I am. He took the time to really get to know me first, asking questions about my lifestyle, hobbies, family, vehicle usage, and the features of a vehicle that were important to me. After getting to know me, he was able to gauge the vehicles that I would be interested in. I gotta say he could not have been more helpful. He has been incredibly informative, presenting each vehicle with all the specifications, trim packages, details, pricing, and the pros and cons of each vehicle. He was able to answer every question I could throw at him. I gotta admit, I have not made it easy for him. But knowing what a big deal this is for me to be purchasing my first brand new vehicle, he has shown a tremendous amount of patience and effort as I try to make a decision on which vehicle would be best for me. So far, this has been a great experience. Ron is probably one of the nicest and most honest guys I've met. He seems genuinely interested in making sure that I am happy with whatever vehicle I end up purchasing, without being pushy or impatient. I've heard great things about Hoffman Audi, but Ron has exceeded my expectations!
