Oh wow! Beautiful resort. Lovely room. Great views, no.. Better than great views. Our private deck/balcony had two comfortable chairs and a small table which we enjoyed while watching the thunder heads build over the mountain so close by. Gorgeous!
Pool area is really wonderful. Resort is very dog friendly! We had our small dog with us and saw many others. Elevators to the upper floors.

I was so disappointed in this resort. I was so excited to book this resort for my wedding night and turns out I was extremely disappointed instead. When we checked in, the man at the front desk didn't seem to happy, was kind of rude.. gave us a map and directed us in the complete opposite direction of where we were supposed to go. Mind you, in my wedding dress.. that was fun. Continue to walk around this place 5 times to find where we really needed to be. Find our room. We walk in, handicapped room. Obviously it was our wedding night, I called them and told them this when I booked in advance, and we still got this room, when neither me nor my husband is handicapped! The second night, we mentioned something to them around 9 pm when we got back from doing everything we needed to do the day after the wedding. They put us in a nice room, which is what we originally booked. But we were checking out that next day at 11, so it really didn't matter. Wasn't the least bit apologetic. I tried calling and speaking with someone there, left multiple messages; still have not received a phone call back. Funny how the manager is always 'is in a meeting' or 'is leaving at this time' the 15 times we have called over the course of a month! Not to mention, all at different times! Ugh it's so frustrating. I only get one wedding night :( I'm so sorry, would not recommend the least bit.

The El Conquistador Tucson offers a Hilton Hotel. It is, for the most part, an older set of buildings that have been updated. The rooms are spacious with all of the modern day conveniences. The beds are full and comfortable. The resort offers multiple meeting and conference rooms, a business center, and many more amenities. They offer meals of all styles. There is much to do, such as swimming and water play, golf, walking/hiking. The location offers unique views and is quite comfortable.

Nice enough hotel water in the rooms was cold rooms were a little dusty but weather from lack of proper cleaning or location unsure. Beautiful location staff was friendly and helpful. Food is way overpriced and not the greatest but not terrible. Good place to stay for business trips not much to do for family wise around it without a bit of a trip.

I can only speculate on the reasons why but the parking situation stinks right now. I don't feel like I should be forced to use the valet just to park my car if I'm a guest here. The room is clean and nice but nothing out of the ordinary.

I volunteered at a convention here, so I didn't stay as a hotel guest. I was able to walk around a bit, though, and the grounds are beautiful and so are the buildings! Great views of the mountains and the sunset.

Good hotel complex with spacious rooms. The car can be parked close to the hotel rooms. My room was very spacious and clean.

The only disadvantage: the neighboring room is separated by a wooden door through which you can hear every sound. Thank goodness the room was only occupied last night.

We went to a birthday party held at the Hilton that evening. Everything went well for us an friends who were there to only attend the event. The problem lies with all the people who made reservations to stay the night at the Hilton. The rooms were over booked and some people had to find another hotel to stay at, other rooms were not ready when they tried to check in, etc.

Excellent and the service of Jasmine at the reception was exceptional. No wonder even people living in Tucson will come there. A perfect place for a family getaway.
Everything around me was impressive. Definitely a place to reside if you are in Tucson Arizona area.

This place is too expensive for what lil they offer. And you can bet that at the kids pool slide area the lifeguards on duty really aren't. Many times I watched as they had their faces stuck to their phones... Not good!!

Overall hotel was adequate place to stay. The grounds/view were great. The staff were friendly and helpful. Was a plus that the pool was kept warm enough to swim even in January and was nice to enjoy a cocktail poolside. A biggest downside is that the property is older and the rooms and amenities are dated. Also, as a diamond member, I have come to expect a complimentary upgrade but was not offered one (even though clearly the hotel was not full). During our 2 night stay, there was a larger room across from us that was empty during the entire stay.

Extremely poor customer service. No accountability or follow through on request. Operator does not pick up. Rude in response. Loud hallway noise at night. Please save yourself a headache and stay at another resort. Never experienced such dissatisfaction!

Great place to have a family staycation or go with kids... but not quite what we were expecting for a couples getaway. Lots and lots of really loud kids...
An adult pool would be a great addition because the resort is lovely, but even the jacuzzi was full of kids at 930pm.
Do not recommend a lower level room either... you can hear every stomping foot above you and the one day we were trying to sleep in our neighbors above were up and going at 630AM.

This place racially profiled the group I was with right from the start, "Mexican Family With the cooler" was the direct quote. Then we were being harassed by the pool area for play music on a bluetooth speaker. (With children around we kept it PG and low) and they ended up calling the police because the security guard instigated an altercation with a friend of mine and even after that was done and over with the security guards then walked down every hallway looking for us to try and stir up more trouble. We eventually all went back to our respective rooms and went to bed. The group I was with rented 11 rooms for the weekend and dropped nearly $1500 collectively in drinks and food. This level of disrespect was unfathomable at a supposed 5 star hotel and the instigations for confrontation were appalling. They even had the audacity to refer to me as "the white boy with the mexicans". Between the mild racism and the disrespect I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who isn't of caucasian decent.

My return visit to this property proved to be an excellent choice. This time I stayed in the villas and this is where I will stay again. Since my last visit the hotel now has digital key access. Lots of room, great views, golf course and pool. Free self-parking or valet is available. Clean and spacious. The TV channel options are good but missing the NFL network. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful view out the large picture window, but otherwise a disappointing corporate dinning setting. The menu was quite small, but interesting. I had the fish tacos which were indeed good, but also extremely skimpy on the fish, as were the toppings. The avacado was a whopping four dollars extra for three small and thinly sliced pieces. The sour cream was also extra. I was disappointed that the corn tortillas were not home made, given the price point for the meal and ease of locally supplied ingredients. Unforgivable, really. My friend had an excellent steak quesadilla, which was quite adequately supplied with a well stuffed tortilla, but again not home made. Lunch for two came in at over $60.00. Overall if you are looking for a great hotel to dine in with a nice view of the pool and patio, this might fit the bill.
