Great place to stay in New Orleans; near to the river front and a brief walk to French Quarter. the restaurant and cocktail lounge were excellent. The amenities were an added plus. I highly recommend

Worst Hilton stay. Worst hotel I've stayed at in a long time. A queen is not the same as a king. The hotel gave me keys to a room where someone else's bag was on the luggage stand. Horrible front desk. No loyalty to their loyalty program members. Nickle and dime for everything. Bath products on the wall in a large dispenser.

I was asked to wait until I received a page for my room. Four hours later after seeing many people check in after I'd arrived, I went to the desk inquiring abt my room and was immediately placed in one. No apology for my unnecessary 4 hr wait. Nothing.

This was the worst hotel experience ever!! Not only was there a series of strange smells throughout the building as well as in my room, my second night was topped off by having a mouse run into my room from under the door! To add insult to injury the manager handled it terribly. Never stay at this hotel. It's not worth the money, hassle, and it will taint your New Orleans experience!

Rooms are generally ok but had to switch due to a bad odor in the first. Encountered several
surprisingly rude staff members (and one good manager.) Housekeeping ignores Do Not Disturb tags and wakes you up early in the morning (reported by four different people in our group.) This Hilton needs a lot of help.

Generally speaking this is usually a great hotel but our 4 day stay was marred by a computer glitch which locked out everyone for a significant portion of one day. Adjustments should have been made to rectify the loss and waiting periods.

1:03 AM woke up to emergency evacuation message coming over speakers in room, continuously repeating to immediately evacuate the building, all the fire doors in halls closed, strobe lights in hallways flashing, no staff in sight. Everyone walking through the halls going outside. Crowd outside wondering what s happening. Still no staff in sight, no sirens, no smoke, after 15 minutes outside, security guard comes out and says go back to your rooms, it s a glitch in our system.
No apology just a glitch. Trying to go back to sleep but wide awake.

Lots of things around to do while staying here. Right on the river, there is a shopping mall right downstairs. Drago's is renouned for their oysters, a must try when staying in the city. This restaurant is located right in the building. 4 stars because the rooms are good, but not 5 star worthy.

Little pricey for the rooms. Expected a lot more for over $250 per night. Recommended by two friends, and my husband and I felt liked we might have been ripped off for the price of the room alone. Let alone, over $60 for a breakfast buffet for 2 people? You would expect at that price for it to be complimentary. We sadly will look for another hotel for our next visit.

A six day business trip May 4-10 turned into a nightmare when over $1300 worth of jewelry was stolen from our room-The room safes are faulty and apparently do not always close all the way--no doubt housekeeping is aware of this and took advantage. What was more upsetting was the attitude of the hotel management and security! They kept insisting we left our jewelry at home and would find it there when we returned--which of course was not true. The security staff is a joke and does not inform hotel management of guests--when we complain to management they said they were unaware and once again tried to write it off--obviously we were hoping we would "just go home and forget about it"--well we haven't forgot about it Hilton! Your protocol for handling customer relations is terrible--the worst I have ever dealt with! 6 days and thousands of dollars spent at your hotel--never again!

Decent rooms. Sub par as far as cleanliness. However my biggest frustration this trip is housekeeping knocking on my door at 8:45am day of check out and asking when I was leaving! Never ever have I had this done before. Feeling pressured to leave my room because house keeping wants to get home early. Never again.

The hotel room and staff were great. But when we picked up or van from valet parking where it had been for the last 2 days..it was soaked and it was evident that they had left my drivers side passenger window down..it has been raining hard for the last two days..carpet soaked. Seat soaked. Now getting on a cruise...the person who returned the van actually argued that the window was up. So I went to the desk and asked to speak to a manager and was told there want one...really. so a security person Vincent Howard came out looked at my van and asked me what he could do to fix the problem. My parking was comped but what about the damage ....he asked if he could keep my van while we are on cruise..I stated you have had my vehicle for the last 2 days and look how its been returned to me so no what I want is for you to take care of the cost when I return and can have it looked at. He gave me his card and told me he would call me back in a few minutes and never did..I called the number on his card and got disconnected twice...not a happy customer.

This is a very large hotel with a well-stocked, cozy piano bar, cafes, restaurant, and nice decor. My visit was to take advantage of the parking garage, which was near another event. Based upon the atmosphere and the pleasant, professional staff and offerings, it's a place I'd visit to relax and enjoy them.

Parking is horrible and expensive. The parking garage is very dangerous. Needly run over twice returning to my car. Was at the hotel for a conference. Hotel was nice. Lunch provided by hotel was not good. Expected better from a New Orleans hotel.

Luke in the Hilton had fabulous food! Cozy and cheery atmosphere. Happy hour was half off draft beer and oysters. Probably some of the best oysters I've had! Also had great shrimp and grits and a honey tobasco chicken.

Longest Check-in line I have ever saw. The hotel appears to be nice but the check-in process is understaffed and the line is wrapped around the building. Expect it to take a minimum of 1 hour to check in

This is probably the first Hilton hotel that I stayed at that didn't live up to my expectations. I got in late in the evening to check in (after 6 pm) and they already had a long line of people waiting to be checked in. So there went 45 minutes of my time. Then the room that they gave me looked like a Hilton from 1990; it looked old and dated inside. My wife even saw some ants in our bathroom, too. Then they couldn't even accommodate a late check-out; we had to be out by 11 am. Not to mention that you gotta pay close to 50 bucks for valet parking. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it or the rating would be even lower. I would look elsewhere if I were you.

Total chaos, we were first sent to 1625, then 4115 and our final room was 2326, the keys didn t work, we were given new ones, security came up to fix the original problem while we were away,,,by the time we got back at midnight, the keys didn t work again. We are typically pro Hilton, this was awful! There is black mold from the a/c vent, the bed seriously looks like Motel 6, I would highly recommend against staying here.

We had a pretty good stay. Cons were when I was laying in bed the wall and headboard was vibrating which was aggravating. I think it was due to a main AC unit. They must turn it off at night because it was not doing it when I slept. Only other problem that I had was it look like there was a blood stain on one of the towels that was put out for us to use. Pros was place was clean and great location. The hotel is connected to the Riverwalk outlet mall which was cool. It also has a great restaurant and a Starbucks which was really convient. We had a great time and a big part was because of the Hilton.

It's a very expensive hotel, mostly because it's location is unmatched. Service was incredible! Rooms good and spacious. We requested a microwave and they actually bought a brown new one to meet our needs. Next to the Riverwalk Mall and store outlet and the Queen Creole Paddle Wheeler. Overall an awesome experience! The place is pretty large.

Located adjacent to the shopping mall and riverfront. This made a great starting point for our morning. Cafe du Monde and the river walkway are here which makes access to the French Quarter easy. The room was clean and large enough as well as having a comfortable bed. My only complaint was that throughout the night it was easy to hear the slamming of guestroom doors. I hope they can adjust the doors in the future to prevent this.

Huge hotel with two buildings across the road with tunnel/passage connecting them. On the Mississippi river, good views.
Parking/night is $44 but if you are parking later at night, one should get an option for $21 for 12 hours.

Multiple billing errors that I got resolved weeks later. The night auditor made a very understandable mistake but then refused to work with me on it. I think they use the fact that they have such a good location as a rationale to not improve or update because people will stay anyway. Valet parking is the "only parking available" but there are garages nearby and right across the street. The front desk would not tell me about any other parking options other than valet.

The hotel was clean and great location for activities for the Essence festival, however, I called the hotel before my arrival to see if I could have water delivered and if they would hold it for me. They said absolutely and told me to just put my hotel confirmation number on it. When I checked initial was told I would have to retrieve it from the Fed Ex office located right across the hall from check in. I went there and was told I had to pay a $40 pick up fee. Where did that come from and why wasn't i told that when I called. My water cost with shipping was only $15. Can you see my frustration? I asked them if they would send it back because I would not pay that amount and they said yes. So far it hasn't happened.

Not worth the money. Room not made up until after 4pm 2 days in a row. Room not made up at all another night. No tea or milk provided in the room. Reported the safe not working twice. Lots of apologies but finished the stay without it being rectified. Next time I shall spend my money elsewhere.

Aging hotel that shows in rooms. Although clean, entire hotel could use some updates to stay competitive. Like that its upstairs from Riverwalk and great location. Employees could show more of the "southern" hospitality.
