Had a great time at the table tennis club In the Hilton Health Club
This is an awesome place. great staff, atmosphere and food. Walking distance to everything.
Hotel wasn't bad but my wallet was stolen at the bar down in the lobby area and they couldn't have cared less. The security was ridiculous and I have called multiple times since leaving to get a follow up and none of my calls have been returned. Another individual I was staying with also had her room left open by the maid!!! Ridiculous!! This is downtown New Orleans, the security should be MUCH tighter and helpful!
Rooms are clean but a little small for a Hilton Inn. Service great friendly night clerk. Valet attendant super helpful and extremely friendly.
Beautiful hotel right across from Harrah's Casino and in the heart of shopping and downtown NOLA!
Construction on trolley car ttacks so you can't take it from the hotel to the French quarter. That's why we are here. Nice upscale place next to casino.
The service at the ballrooms was perfect after our parade
Had dinner at Drago's. The charbroiled oysters were delicious.
Rooms noisy, leaking faucets, but front desk, housekeeping and concierge all responsive
We are staying at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside with a large group of students during a very busy time, the hotel seems to be fully booked. Despite these challenges the hotel is very clean, quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. Prices for purchases inside the hotel (restaurant, bar, etc) are stiff, but I guess this is the price to pay to be in this location at this time of year.
Awful customer service. Was charged 38 dollars per day for parking but was never told about the charge for parking. Wasn't given a receipt until after I arrived home. Called and spoke to the assistant director who argued with me instead of apologizing. Refused to even offer a partial refund. No one offered to help with bags, rude and unaccommodating. Will not be going back. They do not value your business at all.
I absolutely love this hotel. Friendly staff, great service, clean rooms and beautiful decor. I highly recommend this place.
Had to pay $50 more per night for a king sized bed that I had a reservation for. The room was so small, my wife's wheel chair would not work in the room. Terrible housekeeping- waited until after 3:30 and just took clean towels. Would not recommend this hotel-there are others close by that people had a better experience.
Very hospitable and accommodating to our group. Especially enjoyed the conciergewho helped us navigate the area and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. Great location adjacent to the Convention Center and Riverwalk Shopping.
Absolutely hate how hard it is to get in and out of this place. My truck is parked 2 blocks away, parking walking checking in and getting to my room took 35-40 min. The room has lights out, outlets in the wall are loose, also, I guess it s hotel policy that if order food from somewhere they are not allowed to bring it to your room so you have to go to the lobby (down the elevator and over to another building) When you get there and guess who may have your food, check in desk or concierge, hopefully you won t be as unlucky as me and the check in desk will have it. Because then you have to stand in line for 15 minutes to get your delivery food.
I admit I favor a simple experience (I m only at this hotel because my employer chose it) so I just wanted to let others know. This is the furthest from simple as it gets.
Overall a nice hotel. The hotel is starting to age a little, but nothing a coat of paint couldn't fix.
Very comfortable, connected to mall. Individual room thermostats
Great location right by the river front, easy to reach the French Quarter. Good selection of eating and shopping places. Next door to the casino.
DON'T waste your time guys! Stayed here for the weekend prior to Mardi Gras, more than 250.00 a night total. Got a room in the Riverside Building that smelled like mildew immediately upon entering. The sheets had some moldy stuff on them! (pics attached) To make things worst, the 2nd day, the housekeeper left our room open all day! My money and credit card was stolen from the room. I was in touch with management who agreed to replace my money, but would only refund one night of our stay. The specific reason why I left the money in the hotel room during Mardi Gras, was SO IT WOULDN'T GET STOLEN! Would not recommend anyone stay here. After speaking with several members of management and the front office, no one even returned my phone, and I had to call corporate. I still have not gotten resolution on the situation. NEVER AGAIN! And on our second night, our air conditioning broke! DON'T DO IT! Just stay somewhere newer and nicer and where the management actually cares that their staff maybe stealing.
I went to the salon and the service was amazing!!! Very professional and my hair came out great.
I like this hotel. You can self park in the attached garage which makes trips to your car simple if you always forget something in it like I do. The hotel has been renovated in recent years and feels up to date. Walking distance to the French Quarter and many fine restaurants.
What a Beautiful hotel. The staff, the restaurant, the pool, the whole package was AMAZING!! Will be back in July of 2020 for our 2nd cruise. Get the rooms facing the river, you can see the Cruise ships come in along with the barges and other fleets.
Beautiful view, good service, nice rooms and friendly personnel. Had misunderstanding on the front desk when reservation was paid in full, but cancelled before we showed up at 5:30 Am due to internal procedures. Reinstated, but now charge is higher then offered initially. Other then that- everything was great.
A bit of hike from the quarter. Very busy hotel. Amazing restaurants nearby. Comfortable beds, and a quiet area. Not great for parking and there was always a long line for check in and the concierge.
Delicious food drago's was the best oysters i have had in all of new Orleans
Service was great, the guy helping me was nice and super speedy. The other customers there were monsters. Give the people behind the counter a break y'all! I'm so very sure that the guy helping you isnt trying to keep your package from you.
First rate service and property. Awesome staff ready to help with anything you may need.
Food was fantastic. Server was awesome and very. Helpful. Fast. And. Terrific
So far, not impressed. Arrived from late flight only to be told that the hotel overbooked. Supposedly sending us to a comparable hotel for one night. Hilton is rated a 4 star hotel, where they sent us is rated a 3 star. We'll see how nice it is when we get there. Already not convenient since we are here for a convention and we were close to the convention center.
Meeting rooms are hot and too small for workshops. Would not recommend for large conferences.
The rooms toilets are too low. And the rooms need renovations in the 2nd building.
We only come here for Dragos. Although the bartender seemed a bit preoccupied with her socialization, she snapped to it once we made our displeasure known, and everything from there was perfect. Eat the oysters!!!!! All of them were good. As were the alligator bites, charbroiled oysters (my fave), lobster, steak. I honestly haven't had anything bad here!
Nice place to stay. Places to see and eat are within walking distance, when it's not raining.
If you stay in New Orleans DONT STAY HERE. They messed up our reservations and made us pay more to upgrade even though they messed up. Breakfast does cost $25 per person to eat. Parking is $49 a day which is ridiculous. One of the guys with house keeping was ask to bring up a blanket to us. When he got to our room, almost 2 hours after we ask, he told my son to move and then said take this I dont have time for this. I went and reported him and was ask if I wanted to speak with a manager. I said yes but the manager refused to speak with me and sent word that she would report it. They did nothing at all and they charged my card for more then I was suppose to be charged. This place is a joke and my family will never stay here again. I would give it no stars but it wont let me.
Nice hotel and friendly staff. Get the char-broiled oysters!!!
This is an expensive hotel since it is in the heart of the wharf district. For the price (in August), we paid over $500 for two queen beds for one night. While the casino is across the street (we didn t gamble), there is so much construction going on that it is noisy and a mess to get around.
The worst part was when I asked the service desk for change for a $100 bill. She shortchanged us $10 and I asked her to recount it. She still didn t see her mistake and I had to count it for her before she gave up the $10.
They do, however, have a very good restaurant on site. Everything fish is deep-fried, buy we indulged as it was delicious. Service was excellent.
Fried Oysters and Shrimp were delicious. Staff was polite. Convenient location near the Casino and close to French Quarter.
Very security conscious but not friendly to delivery guys and gals.
The hotel is really armed with disinfectants everywhere even the rooms and bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned with disinfectants. I haighly recommend the location and the precautions.
Everything was fine, but I had notified them of a late checkout. I was trying to take a nap before I had to leave and the same house keeper knocked on my door twice in one hour. Both times I told her my check out was at x time. I gave up on my nap and just left.
The staff is awesome! The entire experience has been great. You have concierge service via text and it's just been an amazing and welcoming experience.
This place is great! I'm a cruise fanatic, so the view from the place is AMAZING if you like watching the harbour. My first stay (when I tried out for Jeopardy), we had a harbor view. I love that this hotel is connected to the mall with a HUGE observation deck. The second stay (before my first cruise), we had a city view. Great way to see the skyscrapers at night! The only reason this hotel is not five stars is because it is pricey. Cokes are $3.50 a bottle and $2 a can. There are two pools, and I only went to the free one, but I've heard that the other one is for a charge. Parking is convenient but $34 a day. We always stay here when we go to New Orleans.
The staff was helpful even though i was there just for a event
Beautiful hotel. But Drago's is absolutely amazing. Delicious charred boiled oysters.
The food was fantastic. The servers were attentive.
Great location, lots of meeting rooms but they need to hire more local musicians to perform for their guests at this location. In this city it feels empty and undressed. 15 years ago it was a music Mecca with Pete Fountain and lots of local jazz musicians performing every day. Lost Art of sophistication and appreciation.
Excellent views of the city great staff quick to help!
Our room was well located with views of the city and River, the staff was warm and helpful and our stay was so relaxing.
Awesome stay, couldn't ask any better. Good room service, viewing.
Nice place on the river. Great bar but didn't eat there because it's NOLA capital of great restaurants and food
Got "upgraded" because they were out of King rooms. Me and my wife had to sleep in separate beds directly over a very loud trolley. None of the plugs in our room worked unless you wiggled the cord just right. For the price this hotel is a joke. We were told the room they were giving us had a view. Unless he meant a view of the annoy trolley he lied. Don't come here unless you like being ripped off.
I attended The Governor's Games, a club volleyball event that was held at the Hilton Riverside Hotel. I parked in the wrong garage and was having a hard time finding my way to the gym level. One of the valets was so nice. He basically walked me to the volleyball courts. The receptionist took her time in speaking with me about the tournament also. Upon leaving, I saw the valet again. He made a quick joke, asking if I needed help finding my car. Lol! Great staff. Very organized and clean. Good ole Southern Hospitality!
The beds were comfortable, but a lot of things in the room were broken. There were beads left in the room, indicating the maids didn't do a great job in cleaning up the place. There was also food left in the fridge that wasn't mine.
Room was clean, unfortunately breakfast was not included and is very pricey especially when you are a group of 5
Excellent facility with many great amenities whether with friends or family and in a wonderful location. I would highly recommend a visit.
Love the view, and the staff. 23rd floor deluxe king room was amazing
Room was very nice with a comfortable bed. It is walking distance to the French quarter and has a streetcar stop right outside.
Went to dragos seafood restaurant, char broiled oysters are a must have. The service was very good, there was 22 of us and we got seated within 15 minutes. The food came out quickly as well and drinks were refilled sufficiently, all in all a good experience.
The Hilton has comfortable beds and strong air conditioning. Two pool options and a two little coffee shops. Riverside views we're pretty as well.
The hotel is great very clean and. Beautiful, But however the line to check in yesterday August 31 was a little ridiculous took about an hour just to make it to the front and sign in
.Besides that wait the hotel and surrounding area arw great fo to go out and explore NOLA
Clean Rooms and great atmosphere
Enjoyed the stay
Parking is 40 for the night which is expensive.
I've stayed here multiple time. I'm never disappointed.
This is a great place for hosting a conference. It has convenient parking, great food inside the hotel and nearby, and is the perfect distance from the Quarter for those visiting the city.
Went here for dinner at Drago's. The food was amazing. The red beans and rice ranks among the top five meals I've ever had and the chargrilled oysters were right up there.
Didn't actually stay in the hotel I ate at the restaurant Drago's. Fantastic awesome broiled oysters first time having them and the gator tacos just amazing.
This is a classic, old school hotel.
There are around 26 floors of guest rooms. There are two banks of elevators to get to them.
The elevators were actually the root of my problem with my stay. I was in room 26 on my floor which was constantly obnoxiously loud with the vibration and other sounds from the high speed elevators. This was pure insanity to deal with. Either the elevators are out of service and need to be addressed or the develops simply didn't care about a chunk of the heat rooms. Worse so this is an upgraded river view deluxe room that cost extra to stay in...
To get all the negatives out of the way, the bathrooms feel very old and dingy. I'm used to Marriott properties with high end walk in showers and ceiling mounted Grohe rain fixtures with a wand. This hotel had an old school bath tub with a Lehman shower head mounted at the same height as my shoulders. Pathetic.
My room was clean and well prepared, but the carpet by the door was wet and had a "dirty laundry" smell to it.
The good? The bed was comfortable. The AC worked. The staff was polite. Room had an ironing board setup. Plenty of room to spread out.
I was here for a convention. The facilities are surprising large for a hotel. With the convention center located right next door, we didn't need it. We didn't lack for space here at all with around 1000 participants.
The Dragos restaurant and the bar in the center of the lobby were great as well.
Really cool hotel on Amazing bar area lots of Space 3 place to entertain and hang out with friends close to everything and the staff is friendly as well!!!
Once you get past the New Orleans funk (smell of rot, sewage and decay) the hotel is lovely, attached to the oulets along the river, a block from the French quarter. Well appointed but plain rooms serve well. Staff is helpful and friendly.
Wonderful hotel with lots of space for corporate events or conventions. Great restaurant and lounge info the main floor
Very expensive. But very elegant. Nice hotel. Great rates but bar and room service are expensive.
If you want to be close to the French Quarter but not too close, get a nice view of Mississippi, Hilton New Orleans Riverside is one of the several good options. Rooms are clean, except that our second room was stinking of smoke, which we immediately reported. Kudos to the front desk, who patiently listened our complaints and moved our rooms. I would totally stay here next time I visit NOLA.
Food was great. Will highly recommend chargrilled oysters.
Nice atmosphere very good food bit pricey for small portions.
Over priced, old, wifi not free. Room service and location are great.
Nice hotel, very clean and the staff is nice. Its located very close to entertainment and restaurants and there are a few restaurants and taverns in the building. I would repeat my stay.
Stayed here for a convention and the room was just right. I gave it 4 stars because the water is just like warm most of the time and the elevators are extremely slow. 10 elevators and sometimes it takes 10 minutes to get one to your floor. I would stay here again though.
Great location. Bar is great atmosphere with good prices highly recommend
Only positive about this hotel is its proximity to convention centre if that's where you need to be, otherwise give it a miss. It's tired, run down, busy, noisy, amenities are average and servicing of rooms does not always happen. Very disappointed with our recent stay.
I could not enter the hotel with my key for my room, worst customer service
We visited this hotel to eat at Drago's inside the hotel. The restaurant is great for chargrilled oysters and the seafood pasta. It's in a great location near a bunch of outlet stores.
