We checked into a room a little early the room was clean it's a great hotel but I feel like it maybe wasn't quite as clean as it was supposed to be as we were missing some of the bathroom toiletries.

Although located in a lovely and accessible spot, this hotel hasn t been updated in years. The AC and refrigerators weren t quite working and the decor/environment was very dated. I didn t eat at any restaurants and staff was very nice.

Very nice hotel with connected access to the large mall In The basement. It also connects to the board walk. If you stay here do your self a favor and get a room that faces the river, it was fantastic watching the boats roll in and out. I also felt very safe here

We were very happy with our stay. The room was very clean and had a spectacular view of the Mississippi River and the crescent city connection bridge. We would definitely stay here again.

So happy we stayed here!! Our rooms were awesome and the front desk was so helpful! We wanted adjoining rooms and they worked with us to get that. We had a river view, which was great. They have two pools. The first we went to was odd and not deep then we found the other one and it was perfect!

This was the 2nd time I've stayed at this property and I enjoyed my stay both times. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was pleasant&enjoyable, and the rooms are very comfortable.

Parking is half the cost of the room itself. Parking garage seems unsafe/dangerous. Our key cards never worked and we had to go to the front desk multiple times to request new ones. Room had poor AC and awful bedding.

The location was walking distance to the French quarter and the central business district. It also very close to the casino and right on the trolley line. IT ALSO has a great restaurant Dragos in the building.

For the price I paid I was expecting the rooms to be better. The walls were scratched and the view from our room was nice but the seagulls pooped all over the window. Staff up front was rude when checking in.

Room was nice staff was nice. Everything to do with Hotel itself was great. For the rest of the stay, people running up and down the hall hooping and hollering at all hours of the night made sleep a little harder to come by.

I have stayed there numerous times for a convention and I enjoyed my stay each time. I like the fact that it is connected to the Riverwalk if you want to do some shopping. What I hate is that stuff is overpriced inside the hotel stores.

The lobby area looks like a place for business meetings and conferences. It seems the hotel is divided into 2 parts - the high rise tower and another side. The other part didn't look so good. Our room was clean. Washroom was on the smaller side. The drapery and furniture are nice. Service left somethings to desire. We had to call multiple times and wait hours for a microwave to arrive in our room. Since we were with a baby, we needed that. They sent a broken one first, without bothering to install it. So we had to send it back and request for a new one. It took several hours before we could heat food for baby.

The location is perfect, but for $400+/night I expected better than that. Very outdated, bad smell coming out of sink drain, no shampoo and no conditioner (empty bottles attached to the wall), not even water bottles for $400+/night - seriously? Similar to Motel 6 quality hotel, but for $400+ Never again! Did not expect that from Hilton.

Room is ridiculously hot, but we have a room that gets the evening sun which heats it up and the AC cant keep up. Charged 100$ for parking when the sign says 45$ a day. Woke up with an extra 44$ charge on my card for no reason. No wifi and you can hear all of the traffic. Room is super clean and bathroom is nice. Bed is comfortable but everything has feathers(which I'm allergic to). Very conveniently located!! Several tourist attractions and great restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This was our first time in New Orleans attending a conference and we decided on the Hilton based on the list of reviews. We wanted a location that was convenient to the convention center, French Quarters, tourist sites and street cars - this location was perfect. We walked to the convention center in about 10 minutes outside via the street or if you want to stay inside to avoid the heat/rain you can take a longer walk through the adjacent River Walk shopping mall.

We walked to French Quarters on our first day. During the other days, we took the Street Cars to the WWII Museum, up canal street and to the Garden District. It was fun to take the Street Car on Canal Street all the way to the end and then back again. This gave us a good picture of the city and local people. All of the street car stations are walking distance from the Hilton. The waterfront streetcar is located next to the Hilton front entrance.

The bathroom seemed small for an upscale hotel, but our room was very nice on the 24th floor with a wonderful view of the city. King size bed was comfortable and the towels were fluffy soft. New Orleans is a hot/humid city and we were able to keep our room cool and even cold at times (the way we like it coming from the north). The Concierge at the Hilton was very helpful with ideas for restaurants and points of interest. They recommended Muriel's at Jackson Square on or first night and the food was very delicious- it was an excellent way to start our stay in New Orleans.

Staff was friendly and very helpful. Had a plumbing problem in the room at 3 A.M. notified the front desk and the issue was promptly resolved. They even upgraded me to a suite for the rest of my stay. We had a wonderful stay would definitely recommend this hotel.

Loved our stay here! Room was very clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly, helpful & knowledgeable about the area. I wish I had gotten the name of the maid that cleaned our room, she was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

I checked in with a friend of mine we were given our room keys. When we got to our room on the 13th floor we entered a room that appeared as if someone was already occupying the room the bed was unmade and the TV was on. We phoned down stairs to inform them that this room is not ok with us. We were moved to another room , the room was made up and we thought that everything was ok until we discovered someone else had left their dirty socks behind the drapes. Obviously the room was not thoroughly cleaned. I complained and I was told that management would come up to the room to speak with us but no one came. I am very disappointed in this Hilton's service. On our second day there we went out for about 4 hrs upon Our return the room still was unmade. After phoning down stairs someone was sent up to clean the room, there was no vacuuming and dirty dishes were not removed we could not communicate with her because she stated that she could not speak English. I will never stay here again.

Parking is incredibly expensive at 35 dollars a day, and wifi access in the rooms is 14.95 and you can only connect one device. The soda machines are 2.50 for a 12oz can. There are also no microwaves in the rooms. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, but making everything ridiculously expensive does not make a hotel a "luxury" hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone in the future.

I liked the hotel, the staff and the location. Unfortunately before my arrival they had to change my reservation due to some renovations they were doing. I had to move to a different hotel in the middle of my stay and move back to Hilton. This was a HUGE inconvenience. They did make accommodations for the inconvenience. The staff here were a lot more professional and attentive than the Marriott (where they moved me) so as long as I don't go through that again I would stay here again.

The staff was that i encountered were pleasant except for the rude young lady at the desk the morning i checked out. Thank goodness i didn't have to wait in line to check out. I utilized their express check-out by sending a text letting them know i was leaving. They emailed me a copy of my bill. The room was small, but it didnt matter as i was rarely in it. The view was amazing. Guests can choose between city or river view, i chose river because i love the water. The hotel is directly across the street from the Harrah Casino. It shares a building with an outlet mall (Guess, Coach, Puma & more) and has the river walk behind it. There's a lot to do in the hotel and it's blocks (walking distance) from the French Quarter, Bourbon St many tourist hot spots without being too close for those who want to stay near the action, but not right in it. I received texts from staff throughout my stay either saying they hope i'm enjoying my stay or asking if i needed anything. I would stay here again

Room 5100 and 4099 is where my family and I stayed and never again will we stay here. The key cards never worked. Had to keep getting new cards. At one point security had to open the door. The fridge did not work and I had an infant who needed milk. Noisy and too much construction going on. Okay to sleep and shower but for the money you pay, service should be better.
