We stayed for our anniversary. We purchased a Groupon for a jacuzzi King suit city view. While checking in early the gave us a free upgrade to a American falls view. Room. 1760 in the north tower had a perfect view of the fire works. Dinner at braza was amazing.

Absolutely not up to par with any other Hilton I've stayed at. They are presently undergoing construction which is having major effects. I had no hot water in my room the first night and ended up switching rooms at midnight. I was supposed to have a US Falls view originally and while the room did barely have that view, it was only observable standing in a corner of the room that jutted out about 2 feet from the wall. It was not a main view of the window as you might think it should be paying more for the room with a view. I needed to use the business center to complete some work and that was closed and ended up having to use a single computer in the lobby next to a bar with a live band. The pool is closed also as well as some elevators and their Brasa restaurant, and there were people smoking marijuana in the doorway of the main entrance. For all that, they took off the $79 Canadian hotel fees from my total $750 bill for 4 nights. I reccomend the Sheraton or Marriot versus the Hilton, at least until they are done with construction.
We paid over $200 for our stay at the Hilton and we were placed on the 4th floor where almost all of the other suites had a danger sign on the doors which scared us. Also inside our suite, the phone would not connect us to the first floor. We initially called to ask for a wine bottle opener but instead had to go to the lobby and ask for it in person. It never came. So we tried to use the phone again and it was then when the dial had gone through and requested for the item again. It came soon after but the quality of it was worse than what you can find at a dollar store. The elevator smelt like marijuana and at one point when we were in the lobby, a fight occurred where we had to run to avoid it. And finally, during sometime when we were returning to our hotel, our card rejected re-entry to our suite hence having us return to the lobby once again. On a positive note, thanks to these guys we burnt a ton of calories walking back and forth around the hotel and free marijuana from the elevators.
Amazing parking lot outside the hotel. The next morning when i went to the car the car was broken into and everything was missing. Think twice before booking at this hotel. Overrated.
BE AWARE!!!! Employees are thieves here!! A family member of mines was just there for vacation and put some money in the safe as he went out to explore with his wife and when they got back to the room, they decided to check the safe and ALL of their money was gone. They left them with nothing but a passport and when it was reported to the manager, they said they would investigate. THEY DID NOTHING. They told them that there was nothing that they could ve done to help them. All they did was cover up the fact that their employees are thieves. It s sickening that people work hard for their money and can t even go on vacation and put their money in a SAFE where it s supposed to be secured.!!!!!! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE BECAUSE THIS IS NOT OKAY!
Mandatory valet services are provided, for those who prefer to park their own vehicle. I went here to go to a restaurant that was attached the the hotel, but from the looks of everything it seems fairly well kept and modern. It's quite large but I feel like there wasn't much staff around.
We got a Fallsview Jacuzzi room on one of the top floors. It was nice that we could check in early, but the wifi is absolutely unusable (almost no service in the room and is incredibly slow). The view is partially blocked by the casino (can still see both the falls, but paying for a fallsview is better done elsewhere) and there are massive renovations going on until 2019 so none of the amenities can be used, they had given us a card to visit the pool and gym across to their neighbouring hotel but itll be hard to find them not busy. Overall not impressed by Hilton this time, I've had great experiences in other locations from this brand.
good views and nice rooms... but....... horrifying elevators. the hotel is very old. The parking lot and the elevator is enough to give you harsh feelings about this hotel. on top, this hotel has very bad sound proof... you can hear everyone. + bad service : a cleaning lady came knocking on my door at 830 am to leave the invoice. what kind of Hilton wakes up their guest like this in the early morning without my request.
We got a package for a two bedroom suite and when we checked in the price change and when we inquiry we were told that it's a long weekend and there's price changes on long weekends. We have to pay for everything.
Air conditioner not working, pool under construction, Wi-Fi connection sucks, we weren't asked if we were here for an event at which parking & valet was included......we didn't know that & since they didn't mention it we had to pay for garage parking only to then find out, the elevators are ALSO NOT IN WORKING!!!! Yet they are still charging full price for rooms. NOT IMPRESSED 1 BIT!!
A bit chaotic with the construction and the valet parking was so busy. The view of both falls was amazing. Would stay again. Starbucks is conveniently located downstairs.
The Hilton is a great hotel with a great view of the waterfalls. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The lady at the front desk and the valet service were friendly. What I find a shame, however, are the prices for breakfast and the immensely high prices for parking directly at / in the hotel. It is advisable to park in the casino parking garage opposite. During our visit, parking there cost 5 CAN $, no matter how long you park. Nevertheless, the Hilton is highly recommended if you want to marvel at a great view of the waterfalls from your room.
Over priced hotel, not worth extra money. Parking is too expensive, we staid on 44 floor paid extra for view. Windows were dirty, they need to clean it, we couldn't see much of view with dart on windows.
Rooms are clean but on arrival the room we were assigned to was already occupied. The hotel staff made up for it by quickly giving us a new room and also breakfast passes. The hotel is a quick walk to the strip and falls. The view of the falls from our window is great.
Great view however, the carpet was ripped up, semi clean washroom and one of the phones didnt work. The mattress was insanely old/lumpy and uncomfortable. . I went on a summer long weekend ..and paid tripple the price. So not worth it. Also, parking was an additional $60. 5 start hotels are better and cheaper. This is worst hilton I've ever stayed at. Extremely disappointed.
The hotel its self is wonderful, but there are a few problems .First lets start with the wifi ,they have very poor free wifi ,so they can sell you an up grade second parking valet is 40 first day thirty eight second day bell hope is not encluded third there are the tourist fees and various other fees not disclosed up front which runs your bill up . will stay on american side next time and only cross over bridge to vist threre side
Our expierence with this hotel was not a good one. You pay over 200$ for one night but the rooms aren't any cleaner than staying at a hotel that charges 100$ a night. We had the king suite, there were old tissues shoved in the tissue box, they've got a serious silverfish infestation in their bath tubs.. which we found out the next morning after using the tub .The face towels had make up on them, and not to mention our door barely closed and being right in front of the elevators it kept us up almost all night. They should really up the level of cleanliness in their guests rooms, doesn't look like an inspection of the house keepers rooms happens at all.
Enjoyed every second in the Hilton, the views over the falls from our beautiful room, felt as if we were flying like a bird over Niagara Falls. The rooms were spotless, the Jacuzzi was a welcome treat, after 10 hours traveling. Following a health breakfast, we left this hotel with a heavy heart, well done to the management and staff, we'll be back
Clean almost excessively so but it's best this way especially during the covid epidemic. I can't speak for the restaurant activity and other retail but things look pretty spartan.
The view from my room was amazing but the hotel services are not good. There was no wifi services available properly. When i called for help on helpdesk they answered me to call directly to at&t company for services. Its around 4 am and she was like, i cant do any thing if you want to get connected call directly to provider. She gave me providers number and even provider is not answering my calls. It was the worst experience . So if you try to visit Hilton niagra , ask them for better wifi and services. The other thing is like when we reached at hotel parking we already had bookings for rooms and they asked us for paid parking even though we had bookings in the same hotel for stay. And its ohk if they charge but they are asking for $ 35 for a day its too much for their guests. So be aware before visit. So other everything was good but services and charges are not on the mark. Thank you.
Room was clean, got a free falls view upgrade. WiFi was expensive, should be free. Check-in was very busy. Pool was nice, big slide, kids enjoyed it. We would stay again.
Don't go and it's waste your money!!! I went to there December 2013 with my wife and wash was dirty and there was someone's hair on the bed.
Swimming pool is so small and bad smell. they gave us some dinner coupon and we went to restaurant and it's ridiculous expensive and taste wasn't good..
everything is expensive and I rather go state...building is old and stinky smell.
Pick a room with falls view. Clean hotel, friendly staff and well organized. Check in was quick and it is a walking distance from main city activities.
If anyone is planning a stay in Niagara.....please choose Embassy instead. At Hilton, the staff is very rude....not helpful. We purchased a Queen Room, queen beds with Jacuzzi and a view. We got a double room, double bed with a jet tub. In the morning there was no hot water. I am not impressed with Hilton at all.
Clean room. Nice location, its connected to the fallsview casino via a walkway. Nice pool. A lot of the popular restaurants are close by. About a 15mins walk to the falls. Over all the staff was nice.
There was a very rude lady training a new employee at checkin. I was refered to as someone who books from a 3rd party site! I guess since I got a good price from hotwire. I litterally had a room with a view of a brick wall! So pay the extra $20-30 for a falls view room if you descide to stay there. Also, try to avoid being placed in their middle tower. Chances are you'll be in a room like mine, facing one of the outer hotel towers.
My biggest issue, right after check in, I noticed the hotel room safe was locked by the previous guest. I was told someone from security would be right up to unlock the safe in a few minutes. 2 hours later, 3 calls, no one came! Despite being told each time it would only take a few minutes.
Wasn't offered a room change. Or any explinations!
Here for Pool and Spa convention. My coworker did not have a great experience with her room and front desk staff made things worse while trying to resolve it. Mine was so-so. The hotel did upgrade us both at no charge for the second night which went better. For me that is. So I'll keep this review restricted to my own experiences.
Our first night was in the middle tower on the 12th floor. Very noisy and certain details of maintenance were clearly not observed. Door closure devices were so old that they did not work anymore so every time someone came or left a room the door slammed loudly. Not a great thing when you have convention people coming back at all hours of the night. Water pressure was weak. Drains gurgle everytime someone else in the tower flush the toilet or ran water. TV reception was poor. Only a few channels worked. Furniture and bed was nice though.
We got promoted to the deluxe rooms in the North Tower. So our second night was much better. It was all so much quieter there so we were able to get a good night sleep.
The breakfast buffet is delicious and filling though I'm sick of seeing powdered eggs at hotel buffets. I understand real eggs turn green in the metal chafer dishes but they can also be put in ceramic crocks to avoid that problem. Wait staff are probably the best in the restaurant sector, and I don't say that lightly.
All the staff were friendly and attentive actually. A minor issue in my room involving a non-functional lamp was fixed within the hour by a friendly maintenance person.
All rooms appear to be equipped with a fridge, coffee maker, safe, ironing board and other amenities to make your stay more convenient. Upgraded room also included a jetted tub and a fantastic view of the skylon tower, falls and casino as seen in the attached photo. Some of the furniture was in a little bit rough shape though.
Area for improvement: during high occupancy periods have most of the 6 or 7 terminals at front desk staffed. Not 2-3. There's no reason someone's stay should start with a 45 minute lineup to check-in!
Also, please keep the vending machines on each floor reasonably stocked and ice machines operating.
Overall I'd stay again ...but would spring for a premium room. I'm also not sure this qualifies as a 4-star hotel.
The room was ok, outdated compared to the south tower. There was an alarm that rang all night long in the hallway, the view was nice. Then paid extra for valet parking but had to wait over 15 minutes to get my car! What's the point of doing valet if i have to wait over 15 min to get my car back? Very disorganized. Not happy about that!
We used points to book the stay to avoid all of the fees. We were in the north tower and did not have an issue with adjusting temperature as others have mentioned. The breakfast buffet was included for us due to being diamond and they treated us well and our kids well. The food was fine, we had no issues with cold food. We did not use their parking just pulled in to drop off bags and parked very closely off-site for a much lower price. The downside was that the internet was not very strong and didn't really work in our room. It seemed to work fine in the lobby area. The TV signal was not very good either and many channels would drop out. We had a hard time getting the tv to respond to the remote as well but it is what it is. It is a good location and close to what we wanted to do. I would consider staying there again.
They charged us $25 extra and after we realized they just said sorry It was a mistake, and after we came back home we realized that they double charged but later they fixed it. In the morning there is a line up for breakfast we have to wait for half an hour to get into breakfast area then another 20-30 min wait in the lineup to get breakfast. The internet connection was very poor and we used our mobile internet. The parking is $50 Per night which is unreasonable comparing to other 5stat hotels.
Don't get what you pay for! I paid more to avoid other hotels in area to hope for better quality and amenities. Every bar/restaurant is closed or reserved for private events. I get corporate events get them money, but how about they make more options or accommodations for your other guests. Also be aware of parking even at facility 30 a day just park at the place your staying. I get this place is under renovations but you would think they would try to keep things more clean, room even had stains on carpet and like every tv station in room barely came in.
Favourite Hotel in Niagara Falls. Love the view especially from the higher floors. Fireworks display is awesome due to its unique view, we are actually higher than the fireworks. Been here many times.
Great hotel in general. Staff is friendly, views are outstanding and the room service food is better, sadly, than a lot of restaurants in NF. Only complaint is the parking fees - they went from $35 (!) for self parking to $49!! Incredible.
We had requested a family suite on the highest floor possible, and got placed on the 10th... which is only the third lowest. So that was disappointing. In addition, our room had wine stains on the carpet, and dents in the walls from who knows what. Having to pay 'tourist tax' despite being a local is very annoying. As I have asked other hotels to remove it, and they do.
But our beds were clean, the room was tidy, and check-in was smooth.
came all the way here with reservation and was told a 100% different price ( 3 times the price of the room ) had to find another hotel thanks to Niagara inn and suits we have a beautiful room dont recommend also hard af to find the regitration
Great view from the 49th floor. Hotel staff is very nice and helpful. The Wifi is awful. Air conditioning vent blows right on the person sleeping closest to the window.
omg holy worst hilton hotel I ve ever seen, idk why sb rate this over 4.0, air conditioner is annoying overnight, room service is talking on the interphone outside the room at midnight 35$ for the underground parking listen to me just skip this hotel it s just like u took a hard course with a toxic professor u can never figure it out trust me
