Room was dirty and the view was terrible. Sitting on the balcony provided a wonderful view of air conditioner units and roof tops. Also the resort fee and parking were supposed to be waived due to lack of communication regarding a room change.we have called numerous times about this issue and have yet to receive a call back. In addition, one of the front desk female workers was rude and sarcastic. We will never stay at the Hilton again.

Absolutely fantastic location and staff.

Absolutely fantastic location and staff.

The building itself is slightly dated, however rooms, restaurants, lobby and common areas have been updated and are modern. Though rooms can be a bit small they are nice, modern, and always clean. Noticed that there has also been quite a bit of work done on the building to update appearance.

The staff at this hotel make it exceptional, they put the guest first and go out of their way to ensure an exceptional experience, I cannot say enough about the amazing service here!

The beach is also beautiful, and the bar right on the sand cannot be beat! Pools were nice, however I see that they are currently in the process of being updated, the updated pools look like they will be exceptional and I cannot wait to come back once complete, sign says eta is December 2016. If a pool is a necessity I recommend checking if completed when booking.

Overpriced for what you get. Staff is friendly but not trained very well. Facility s are old and Badly need updating. The Starbucks, doesn t make drinks like a real Starbucks. Tracy who claimed to be the manager argued with my wife about how a drink is made. The only thing that have going for them is location. The concierge service omg, where do I start. The homeless guy on the corner gave me more precise and correct info than they did. If you like overpaying and wasting your money by all means stay here.

Good job Hilton!!! You just lost a Diamond and select member (we spend over ten thousand plus dollars a year with your company, and paid out of pocket over $300 for select....which we've been unable to retrieve one benefit from) over and poor customer service and a $25 fee.

We have reached out to the hhonors line as well as the hotel for a resolution. And when told we will be making the switch to Marriott, your response was "okay". Not by any means an acceptable customer service response.

Your "benefits" are a joke. We have never been upgraded. (Been a diamond member for FIVE YEARS).

We are making the switch to Marriott and encouraging his 500 employees (that travel 80%) to change the company's prefered hotel chain to Marriott as well.

I highly advise others traveling to choose the Marriot brand also. Especially if you spend thousands a year traveling. The benefits are much better. I have also never received an " okay" from a Marriot team member.

The most important thing is location, you are directly by the famous Clearwater beach, hotel is clean, staff are friendly. You can go kayaking for free before 10 am for 30 minutes at Bouyou if you are a guest of the hilton. Swimming pool is so big and so much fun. Kids can take some buckets to build sand castles and return them back, you can also take the towels u need when u go to the beach. They have nice restaurants and a Starbucks. Cross streets are a lot of dinning places as well as gelato and candy stores. They follow all CDC guidelines but unfortunately some guests don't. It was a very enjoyable stay, definitely a repeated gurst. The view in the pictures are from the room balcony.

The hotel and rooms are clean, comfortable and well maintained. Staff are very friendly. The beach access is awesome. I prefer this side to the hotels on the other side of the public access. Great beach bar and towel service. The amenities and valet make your stay so convenient you'll make this your go to hotel in Clearwater.

this was the WORST hotel expierence I have ever had!!!! I have never written a review but I had to share how terrible this hotel was. TERRIBLE service and workers. We booked our hotel room and we waited until 8 PM to get the WRONG room. So unorganized would never recommend this to anyone!!!

I checked out today. First , I called a week prior to make sure I had a room that I could see the fireworks. The reservation said gulf view double beds. Front desk reception said ok I have room on the 4th floor. I get there, and it was non existant. I had myself and my mother with toddler twins in a single king , because it was all they had when I got there! Next, room was opposite the fireworks side, and facing the AC UNITS. #409. Lastly , I had to turn off the AC because the rumble going on with the unit was an up and down roar like a helicopter was landing. But I was not going to get the ppl to come at 10pm with these 2 babies here. I did tell the front desk as I checked out. So this for me was a $300+ loss of money. Expectations were not met and i dont get to do this often as a single mother. Really upset for my one night staycation.

You can tell when you arrive that the hotel is getting on in years. However, the decor and ambience is very appealing. The check-in was very quick, the room was absolutely great and the quick access to the beach is absolutely fantastic. The hotel is also in a great location. Yes, the hotel is expensive and I wouldn't book it again in terms of price, but it is a Hilton hotel and the price pays off.

The parking lot was a chaotic mess of cars given the mandatory valet parking on site. To make matters worse, our reservation got "downgraded". We had a reservation for a 2 queen with a partial gulf view balcony. A "maintenance issue in the room" saw us moved to a no balcony HVAC view. After seeing the substandard room, we went back to the lobby to see someone was checking in after us and receiving a 2 queen with a partial gulf view balcony. Hilton dropped the ball. We will no longer stay with Hilton...anywhere.

Dont stay here. Overpriced. The rooms feel like your in the hood but the pool is decent although it will bleach out your clothes. Went for breakfast and its was $20 for 2 eggs, bacon and toast. The bathroom door didnt close and was hardly even attached. Beds feel tiny and dont even get me started on the elevators. Just overall gross feeling

This is a lower tier hotel. They e tried to remodel but you can only paint over old so many times. The fees at this hotel are outrageous. No self parking so you get nailed for $25 a night parking. Then the resort fee which gets you internet (I'm Hilton honors so I get that free anyways) and 15% off the 200% over priced gift shop. So essential you pay $20 and get nothing for it. During our stay there was heavy construction jack hammering which we were not told about at time of check in or booking. The beach bathrooms are the most foul smelling dirty bathrooms I have ever been in. They might as well just set porta potties on the beach.

Overall this is well below the Hilton standard we are use to.

Stayed here for 2 nights July 22-24 on the 23rd my room was broken into $500 in cash missing all of my personal identification thrown about luggage rummaged through. Guess what Hilton said, if it s not in the safe it s not our problem I paid close to $700 for those two nights, I expect for all of my belongings to be protected in the room that I am staying in and paying for to be safe. The hotel allegedly has no cameras inside or out, front desk director Denzel was completely unhelpful and so was the property manager Carlos Sanchez. Both stated that we needed to speak with corporate, well guess what corporate called nothing they re gonna do either. Made a police report unfortunately Clearwater PD can t do anything because there aren t any cameras. What was set to be a peaceful vacation turned into four days of back and forth nonsense only to be told in the end by every direction that there was nothing that could be done. Don t stay here unless you re okay with your personal space that you are PAYING for to be searched through and stolen.

Don't waste your money coming here. You pay for a 4 star hotel and you get a broken down motel experience. The staff here was not friendly nor helpful. They just didn't care to say hello, be directive or look like they wanted to be there. They screwed up our room reservations and we ended up in a moldy/mildew room with a king bed for 3 grown adults. We initially reserved a double. But according to them, they were at 100% capacity. They ultimately switched us out of the moldy room upon complaint. New king bed and had to request a cot. Rooms are outdated and falling apart. Not sure what we paid a resort fee for since we're not able to use one chair or cabanas since you have to rent them out for $$$. The "private" beach isn't very private as it is on the same strip as the public beach and non hotel guests were all over the place. If you hate birds.. there's plenty of birds here. So use precautions. The one star was for the location and proximity to most restaurants. After a whole year+ of the covid, our family was looking forward to having an enjoyable experience. We looked forward to this for months and it let us down. What a waste of an experience to break quarantine with.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn before coming here and the difference was night and day. This place is what we expect from Hilton. We were not aware of the $25/day parking fee. We thought the $25/day resort fee covered that. Seems a bit excessive. Also not a fan valet parking. I like to run out to my car to get things or put things back. We travel with a child inevitably forget phone chargers, jackets, etc. It's an unnecessary hassle with valet. Still, the service was great. We had an issue with birds stealing our food by the pool and they gave us a new platter. When we asked the front desk for something it was brought to us quickly. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The beach area was super relaxing. The location is great. Didn't need to drive at all. Walked to everything. It was overall a very enjoyable end to our vacation.

My wife and 2 kids stayed at Hilton Clearwater Beach this past week. This place exceeded my expectations. Beach front. Convenient. Clean. Friendly. Great Beach Rentals. Great Value. Great Tiki bar and right in the middle of Clearwater Beach. I would stay here again. Family Friendly. Great Buffet. Beautiful sunset. Close to all water activities. Beach volleyball, football and chess. Something for everyone. No fake review here. Just a family from MN. Enjoy!

Very very nice beautiful scenery hotel, but unfortunately the room we checked into the heater wasn't working and the room they wanted to switch us to toilet was dirty. So, I opted to stay in the room with no heater and excepted the 2 blankets front desk offered us.

Location. Location. Location. Rooms look a little tired. Beach with tiki bar is outstanding. Tremendous location walkable to dozens of places. Staff very attentive and friendly. It's usually pretty expensive so they lose a star on "value".

Even though you are on the beach. All the rooms do not look over the water. None. If you are looking to sit on the balcony n watch the ocean this isn't the place. You have a view on the parking lot or AC units. Not cool. Rooms are average. It's convenient cause you are on the strip. The pier isn't exciting. It didn't help that they were under renovation either. No pool.

The rooms were subpar at best. Very small and dated, not what you would expect from a resort. We had items from our room go missing, staff didn't seem to concerned. Toilet flooded multiple times. We payed for a room with a view, checked in - room did not have a view. Room service did not come regularly. However, location and buffet breakfast were amazing.

The Hilton staff really outdid theirselves for our stay. When we arrived the valet noticed birthday gifts and struck up a conversation with us about my grandsons first birthday party that we were celebrating during our stay. When we got to check in the desk said Happy Birthday to our little guy! The big surprise was when we opened the door to our room and there was a banner and balloons along with a cake and card for him!
The day we planned the party there was a problem with our cake and the concierge quickly came through with a sweet little cake for him delivered to our party area with complete with his name!

Small, kinda stinky, door was finicky, mostly clean. Surprise mandatory (fun word!) 25$ fee for yoga and the gym which most hotels provide for free and we will never use.

1 star because we even though it wasn t THAT bad, it s a very unwelcoming, lame hotel for the amount we paid. We will never stay here again.

and Ditto for me too on another post review:

Ok, so I never post bad reviews, as I suck it up and learn from the experience as not to go back. But with the prices they charge and charge for everything, I had to share! I had read the reviews before booking but I called and asked questions before booking to see what the hotel had to say. I was lied to! We stay at resort style places all the time and it s never been like this! The valet charge of $25 a night is understandable as parking is scarce. However the valet aren t friendly nor are the staff that helps with luggage. They act as if they don t want to be working. The daily resort fee gets you nothing...it s extra money for the hotel to pocket. The beach rentals are WAY overpriced and they then they charge 7% in tax and extra 18% resort fee on the rentals. We paid over $85 for beach chairs for the day. The only people that were super friendly were the guys who rented out the cabanas. You can t bring your own food/drink/chairs, so they have you! They don t acknowledge diamond members here and you don t get the diamond perks at this establishment. And when you check in, you feel like cattle being herded...turn and burn. They up charge for breakfast if you want anything hot and at $20 just for cereal, fruit and toast...that s pricey! The hallways are so loud and the plumbing is horrific. The hotel is not nice enough to charge what they charge. Clearwater beach is nice but you can get the same kind of nice beach at St. Pete/Treasure Island for better quality, great customer service and more for your money! Save yourself the money and time! This place was busy, but I d bet money it s not from repeat customers. This is a stay once

Pros: gorgeous view, great food, very clean rooms, courteous staff, superb beach location, additional amenities (due to pool renovations) were great.

Cons: furniture in rooms was in need of replacing, room layout was a little odd (very small bathroom), air conditioning unit caused room to hum and vibrate

Friend had a wedding here. We didn't stay in the rooms but were really impressed with amenities and friendly service. Every staff member we ran into greeted us and struck up a conversation. The hotel was super clean and well designed. The wedding itself was supposed to be outside but was moved inside due to weather which worked out well because of the temperatures. The room they had the wedding in was a good size with a dance floor. Bride was very happy despite not having a beach wedding ceremony.

We spent the next day with the wedding party at the pool and beach. My wife and I are active and took full advantage of the complementary frisbee golf, soccer, volleyball, ping pong and corn hole. What a great place to hangout! They even had watercraft rentals and parasailing you had to pay for. Great resort!

My room was So clean! Beds amazing, pillows like clouds. we had the orange blossom suite, Room 700 it had a AMAZING view! Heated pools, tiki bars, very close to shops and water fun. I did get a phone call to move my vehicle because "sand" was under it, and i thought especially being parked ON THE BEACH, I wouldn't have to move my vehicle, so i spoke to the valet supervisor and he was just as shocked as me! Lol he gave me $100 credit! That's awesome! I ordered room service and it was "ok" I think you'll find Better if you take a walk, but hey if you're trying to relax its a great option. One thing i DO NOT like is how when you are done with your food you put your dishes on the FLOOR!!! (outside your door) YUCK!! After that I never ordered again, it kinda turned my stomach. But Over all this is SOOOOO HIGHLY RECOMMENDED especially ocean view!

My company, King Entertainment Events had a great time as we provided the wedding DJ services for the Lahm wedding on 4/17/2021. The on-site manager, Candice was great to work with and it made our job of providing the entertainment services flow smoothly throughout the evening. It was great to work with the professionalism that this hotel offers. Also, the view was unmatched to any other venue that I've ever been to. It was such an amazing event and I would totally recommend this venue to my friends and family.
