I stayed here for work so I didnt use the pool or other amenities. Clean rooms, friendly staff. The layout is weird with the checkin on the 2nd floor instead of ground and it seems a little dated in rooms.

I would not recommend this hotel for people who have any expectations. The rooms were small and mediocre. None of the outlets worked in the room, I had to go into the hall to blow dry my hair. There was an extension cord hanging out of the wall next to the bed instead of an outlet. Perks are the shower was ok, bed was relatively comfy, and the proximity to the beach. Make sure to back your debit card. A tap beer is $9, and to get a cabana and chairs in the beach it s about $100 per day. We don t be coming back.

Waited forever to park when we initially got here, eventually got to check in and went to the room, only 1 bed for 4 people. Went back and said I booked 2 queens, they said it's based on availability. The front desk attendants gathered and all agreed to "give her that one, yeah it has 2 beds". Get to the room, 2 SINGLE beds. Not queens. I gave up at this point as I wanted to enjoy time with my family on the beach. Hard to find your way around when the place is under construction, which was never mentioned In the booking either. So our overpriced, $300 a night room has a beautiful view of the nasty roof/ac system, two tiny beds, pixelated HBO, broken ihome alarm, children finding headbands in their bed, NASTY room. Don't stay here!

DIrty and they steal. I have never written a review anywhere, but this was by far the worst hotel experience. I was staying here from Idaho. I was in town for medical IV treament. I told them before I went in the room I needed it to be clean because I was going to have a picc line. We checked in and it wasn't just dirty, but dirtier than any other hotel room Ive stayed in. There was visible loose dirt and Debra on the floor that hadn't been vacuumed, Trash in corners, the toilet was dirty, For 206 a night, this felt like 70.00 room. Ive had cleaner 70.00 rooms. I called the front desk, they adjusted my rate to 149 for the night, with the terms that housekeeping clean the room again. They cleaned again, and we couldn't even tell. This is when my mother started cleaning the room herself. The next day I found out instead of a 2 week stay for my medical ivs that I was going to need to stay for 2 months. So after my procedure we collected our stuff and checked out. We went straight to our new place, and I started going through my suitcase. My 4 pairs of shorts were gone as well as my leggings. All i had was dresses and one pair of jeans and a few shirts in my bag. I called the hotel to tell them I accidentally left them in the drawer of the dresser in the room. Now this room had been blocked out in my name because we weren't sure of the extent of our stay and they forgot to unblock it, so no other guests had been in my room. They said housekeeping would call me if they found anything.Thinking they would be honest i waited 24-48 hours. No call. I went into the hotel personally and asked if I could go up and look. They wouldn't let me go up there. They called housekeeping and they didn't have them, so instead of letting me go up there, they sent security. Security did not find them. They said they would search housekeeping for themselves. I had to get to my iv treatment and had to leave and trust they would call me. No call. I called and went in the next day. The security detail had me fill out a report and they were going to "question" the housekeepers that cleaned the room. Sent the report up to the main people. Security's exact words were if no one was in the room, it's obvious what happened, i totally agreed because that is what I said to him when I first met with him. He said, getting the house keeper to admit it was slim to none. Finally the lady the report was sent to, her reason for not handling it was, if the housekeeper left it on the cart while taking care of other rooms a guest could have taken them. She said that what i was claiming was an allegation. She said they don't have issues with stuff being stolen.. that's because they don't take responsibility, so its never recorded!!
FACTS:
- I put my shorts in the drawer
-we left around 5pm
- i called within 8-12 hours of leaving them in the drawer
- No other guests were in the room
-my clothes are gone
-no one has seen them but they are not in the drawer.
-make your own conclusion.

SO my question is for her excuse, the housekeeper just magically cant remember taking them but somehow she never saw them and they ended up on a cart that someone else saw and took? I mean come on. I am super underweight from being sick and its incredibly hard to find shorts that fit me. I don't feel well enough to go shopping for new shorts that will fit me, to replace shorts that took me 5 years to collect. They said and made very clear they will take no responsibility for anything stollen from housekeepers. If you stay here, do no let the housekeepers in your room. If you do, they will not do ANYTHING if you stuff goes missing. Unless you take it to the front desk and say please watch this they will take no responsibility. So they wanted me to take my clothes down there for storage every time????? I have never dealt with such a ridiculous hotel. She kept telling me, please understand, we don't take responsibility for lost and found. -It wasn't lost. It was stolen. "Your team cant be good, if you have a bad coach" their management at the top is the problem

Great place to stay beautiful view of the ocean very well put together has a cool pool with a bar by it very nice, lot of things to do. What keeps it from a five-star is thier valet parking is a mess some of the valet people don't even know how to drive a car so I can you park a car if you don't know how to drive a car? Otherwise I will recommend this place

For $400 a night after "resort fee" and parking and tax I would expect much more. The staff was fine but the room was small. It has a sliding door for the bathroom that left a two inch gap so you could hear everything that was going on in there. Carpet was dated and matted down.

I could hear the people next door as well. Location is great but other than that I was very disappointed after spending that kind of money for a hotel room.

Horrible room service, valet was nice but messed up and lost our car thus causing us to be late to an event. $25.00 for a breakfast that was something that you could get at Denny's for $6.00. The noise of other guests and outside kept us up until 3:30 am. Go somewhere else!

As other reviews stated, the only thing going for this Hilton property is location location location. I travel for a living and to call this hotel a resort, and charge a $25 daily resort fee is robbery. Outdated rooms, stains, scratched furniture, small rooms, the list goes on.

One of the best rooms they had overlooks an entire buildings worth of HVAC compressors running 24/7. Not good for ambiance or trying to enjoy the balcony.

As a Hilton Diamond member expected so much more from this "resort".

However, the location can't be beat! Right on the beach right next to the pier.

And the staff, from the front desk to the valet, to Kyle and Sam serving at the bar, was excellent! Went above and beyond making sure we were taken care of!

This was an unfortunate experience. Beds were too small. We paid extra for the gulf view but instead overlooked air conditioners & construction. Therefore hardly went on our balcony. We asked front desk (willing to pay) for an upgrade or room change but unsuccessful.
Book a VRBO!
Location is great. Clearwater is a fun weekend town but there are many far better hotels to stay at

So close to the ocean, truly beachfront hotel, you walk out and youre in the sand. Plenty of guest amenities, just fine to lounge also. The ocean water is clean and the beach is a charming "barefoot" sugar white clean sand, hardly any rocks or shells to step on. During low tide you can find a few shells from the ocean washing up. Atmosphere is family friendly. Nice little downtown area for restaurants and shopping. We keep coming back because it is so nice, either as a destination vacation or traveling from Orlando area for the night (its the closest nicest gulf side beach to Disney for a Disney vacation).

The hotel location was the best part of this resort. Other than that the hotel rooms were comparable to that of a Motel 6. Definitely not up to Hilton standards. The hotel rooms did not even have towel bars inside the bathroom. We went next door to the Wyndham and it was amazing. And it was also about 70% of the price of the Hilton. The hotel lobby had buckled floors, literally bouncing as you walked towards the check-in counter. If you are a Hilton Honors member, don't expect to be treated like one. The hotel staff and the restaurant and at the valet parking were phenomenal. The staff and the view are the only reasons they're getting two stars.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view of Pier 60 and the sunset from our balcony was awesome. We requested a room with a view and they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. The staff was very nice and helpful, and always followed up with us to make sure our requests were fulfilled. The location of the hotel is central to pretty much everything such as the pier, the beach, and the marina. Would definitely stay here again when we come back and recommend others to stay here as well.

Hotel was under renovation so extremely noisy and pool was closed. Staff was nice enough, but someone was jackhammering the room above ours for hours and didn't stop until maybe 5pm. It was extremely disrupting and drove me crazy. It started up again by 10am the next day. We must have had the last room adjacent to the rooms being worked on. Workers and housekeeping knocked on our door 3 times in an 18 hour period for no apparent reason, each time apologizing once we answered. Pool was closed, which wasn't a huge deal for us, but we should have been warned when we booked the room! If we had brought the kids, they would have been so disappointed. Beach was great, but be prepared to pay for an umbrella rental.

This is a 3 Star Resort trying to charge 5 Star prices. 1) Mandatory to Valet park ($25 Per Day) 2) You cannot sit in your own chairs or beach blankets within the Hilton designated area. 3) If you sit outside the area, you are not able to drink alcohol however, if you sit in the over priced chair umbrella rentals, you can. GO FIGURE! Has Diamond member, the breakfast was very good however, they tried to charge me $20 each day of upgraded room. I called and disputed this and they waived after several minutes of discussion. It seems the hotel wants to charge you for every little move and totally RIP YOU OFF! Fortunately, they are plenty of good Hilton properties along the West Coast to visit next trip.

Nice hotel on the beach! Lovely pool with bar, tiki bar on the beach, clean modern rooms, super comfy beds, right on the strip with restaurants and shops, good friendly service, good spot to spend a weekend!

What a great place fun for family fun for adults. Right next to pier 60 they have a pool, table tennis, volleyball, chess on the beach, bags, tables on the beach, the breakfast buffet is so worth the cost they have a wonderful spread made to order omelettes, pastries, cereal, beads, fresh fruit, meats, cheeses and assorted juices. All rooms have a balcony I don't think any have a bad view. Parking is $25 a day and the facility changes another $25 a day which I think should be in the cost of the room why separate that. Food at the pool was a bit pricy kids hotdog meal was $8. I guess you get to pay for the convenience of not leaving the pool. If you need a microwave you have to request one which was odd to me. Nice staff very friendly and very accommodating. Great place wonderful memories n

Hilton? NOT WORTHY OF THE NAME!

Hilton? NOT WORTHY OF THE NAME!
Old as heck. Parking is a nightmate, valet lost our keys. Carpet is beyond nasty. Room smells like mold and is missing furniture. AC made random loud clicks that woke us up. Shower doesn't drain. Pool beverage service brought me warm beers, twice. The building sits perpendicular to the beach, so your view is north or south. If your on the north side all you see is AC units and vents from the lower levels, which is all you're going to hear from the balcony. If my company didn't pay for me to come to this convention I would have left and got a refund. Worse hotel ever.
BUT THE BEACH IS AMAZING HERE. JUST FINA A DIFFERENT HOTEL!

Currently being renovated, but the room I had was recently upgraded so it was worth the dust in the parking lot. Always a pleasure staying at a Hilton resort, and you can't beat the view of the sunset. Plenty to do on the strip out front too.

I was given a room that faces a large ac unit. Tiny rooms with old connecting door inside. As a Diamond member this is probably the worst Hilton I've stayed at in ten years. Not worth the points or money. No offer to pay or complimentary upgrade to a room with balcony which almost all rooms have. Instead I was told you have an interior room that is all. Mind you the hotel is not near full. Also after checking in went outside to see the beach, returning the sliding doors would not open for me and a couple with kids. After 15min of waiting an employee told me to just manually slide the door open myself. 5star service?? This is like a Ramada or Super 8 motel. Go to Marco Island Hilton and recieve much better service!!

The service is very good, but not 5 star quality, imho. We waited 40 minutes for a bellman to unload the car. The beds are not Queen size, in spite of their advertising. The pillows are in bad condition too. The bathroom has a barn door that cannot lock which is bizarre. The restaurants are good with very tasty meals and solid service.

It always irks me to have a hotel add resort fees and parking on top of a room rate, but I realize in these type of areas, it's the norm. Doesn't mean I have to like it though. The hotel itself was nice, but half the power outlets in my room didn't work (the ones on the lamp bases in particular). Otherwise ok. Comfortable bed, helpful staff, clean room.

We loved the access to the beach and the pool area. The beds in the rooms were a bit smaller than a typical queen, but it wasn't terrible. The staff members were welcoming and accommodating to our needs.

We stayed for long weekend. The room was a little outdated, but the continental breakfast was wonderful, the sitting was inside and outside. The staff was very nice and accomodating. free pool towels, gorgeous clean beach right outside without the need to cross the street(like neighboring hotel). All the above compensated the cons. hence, 5 stars.

Perhaps they were unprepared for the increased bookings over Thanksgiving.

Rooms not ready on time and found dirty sheets (wont say what). Staff seems busy all the time, breakfast overpriced for the quality and service was not great.

Requires multiple follow up with front desk to resolve issues or room service.

More problems than you would like on an overnight stay. However, with some persistence on our part, they did great at trying to solve all the issues that came up during the stay and offered reasonable solutions in the form of room credits.

Would stay again but with much lower expectations (a 2.5 Star with great front desk and management team).

The facilities are good, but don't forget anything there because you get lost and they don't give you an answer about your things.
They make you wait and they just tell you I'm sorry, he got lost, I left, I forgot, he couldn't call me back the same day and still he disappeared. Very bad experience. :(

Staying here only for one night... Not happy with the room. Not exactly very clean, dust every where.. Don't take room 467... you will be looking over the roof, also no balcony in the room.
Front desk people, just there to do their job...no exactly informative or overly helpful... Hotel definitely needs a little face lift...
Just doesn't feel the value in paying this kind of money...
Also front desk wanted to charge additional $25.00 on the top of $25.00 parking fees... Penny and diem you here for every thing...

We had a great time here! The location is convenient and the rooms are nice. The patio had a great view and bed was super soft. We had great service from Cody for beach amenities. Greatest vacation in awhile!

Location couldn't be better! So much within walking distance and a beautiful beach! You won't need your car to get to all the things to do. Loved the tiki bars and the staff were more than friendly! Unfortunately, it rained the whole weekend so, we spent quite a bit of time in our room. For the price, I really wish our room would have been a little bigger and maintained. The bed was comfortable.
