Not very clean. The mattress also had a big hole in it and I kept sliding into it at night. Our blankets smelled funny and their were hairs in our bed before we even got to lay in it. I've stayed at MANY hotels all around the world and cant say that this is a good one. The only good part is the location. Staff was also friendly. But even then, cant overshadow the nasty room

The wifi wasnt good, they charge 25 dollars a day to park your car since your on the beach. Which I get if you weren't staying at the hotel but for 600 dollars for two days you would think that would include the parking. Also they charge 20 dollars for breakfast. What hotel doesnt provide free breakfast????? The only pro to this place was that the beach was right out back. But I reccomend getting a way cheaper hotel a few blocks away where beach parking isnt as expensive and you just drive a few blocks and save your money.

The location is perfect...I had a few issues with construction outside my balcony and James the manager--took good care of me....that's the difference! When you have a problem---they stepped up and helped out.

Our four day experience disappointing. Furniture dated, parking issues constantly (they should not charge to park daily as their room rates are to high for what you get), charges to the credit card that were not authorized, fitness room small and smelly. We had to ask to have service in the lounge on a Thursday night and it was not busy. Wifi worked when it wanted to and cut out when you needed it.

On a good note, all of the staff were very friendly and the view from the south side is fantastic!

Overall OKAY experience. Wouldn t book again.

Overall OKAY experience. Wouldn t book again.

Positives:
- very friendly and warm front desk staff.
- fast valet employees.
- clean room.
- lobby looks high end and modern.
- water sports immediately in front of hotel. It was very fun!

Negatives:
- $25 daily free does not include a breakfast.
- bathrobes were advertised, but we didn t get any.
- the wifi was pretty good (included in daily fee)
- we paid for a king room with gulf view and the view was very partial and couldn t be seen from inside the hotel room, only when you went out to the balcony. They should charge less for partial views.
- they should give discounts on all the rates since common areas are not being used as much due to the pandemic so guests aren t enjoying the hotel as usual.
- we only had breakfast at their restaurant and the quality did not match the high price at all.
- lounge chairs and umbrellas rentals are extremely expensive. They re not fancy or anything.
- they re allegedly enforcing face masks while inside the hotel but there is plenty of people not following this rule and not being conscious of the elevator etiquete. People are having no problems crowding into the elevator instead of waiting for an empty one.

We had a great experience. I thought the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. The access to the beach and to shops was good. I would recommend this hotel to others. Irena was very friendly and started the day out right at the coffee shop in the hotel.

Staff was very attentive during the entire stay. One of the three main elevators was not working, resulting in some lengthy waits and crowded elevator rides. The front drive was closed for major reconstruction which caused some backups in the valet area. But once reopened, it will be nice.

Great location -- right on the beach. Valet parking only that costs $25 per day extra. My room (Coast view with a balcony) has great view of the ocean and the brech, but room itself is somewhat humble in my opinion.

Overall an "A", not an A + but good. Location is great, rooms are smaller than usual, interior is nice, parking with valet good, close to restaurants- walkable, food was average, bar was fine, just not exciting overall.

What a great place. Staff so helpful and informative from the valet to the desk to house keeping and especially Mr. Mark Terry and Big Ben out on Beach services. What a great team these 2 guys are helping to make pumpkins bday extra special. Will definitely be staying here again.

In addition to the room rate, you are required to pay a daily $25 parking fee and a $25 resort fee which allows you into a very small pool. There is only one pool for thousands of guests. There are no beach chairs available to guests except for a rental company that charges $200 for front row chairs and anywhere from 25-45 dollars for back row chairs per piece . Umbrellas are extra charge. Taxes are up to 30% on rentals

There was a dirty sock underneath the chair next to the sliding glass door. It was obviously from the guest before me, and the room wasn t properly cleaned. Not only that, I paid way too money for a room that overlooked the parking lot, got like 10% off my stay because of the dirty sock that I saw and was completely disgusted by, not to mention, COVID is everywhere. Remember? The ladies at the front desk at the time of my arrival and checkout... wayyy too serious, not spunky or smiley at all.... Felt totally awkward. Smile! Be happy! Make your guests feel welcomed ... just a very poor experience. Did not enjoy my stay at all. From the minute I checked in, to the minute I checked out.

Really enjoyed our trip, great location, LOVED The Spotted Donkey, and the spa was an experience I'll never forget!! Seemed like a very kid friendly atmosphere (however, we planned our vacation to get a break from adulting/parenting on our anniversary) I would definitely recommend for family vacations. Staff was great and very helpful. Only thing I was disappointed with was lots of extra fees and our "beach view" was mostly the parking lot.

Just had a horrible experience and stay 28-29 Dec 2020 at this Hilton Clearwater beach location on our 32nd Anniversary giving local area our business and would not be going back as I paid extra and silver membership points for gulf view. Had to change my room 2 times during this stay as they tried giving us a parking lot view, then a smelly smoker room and finally got a bit better room was out dated a bit and at 1am room next to ours was playing music loud until 4:30am after a few calls to front desk they finally got music turned off needless to say we didn t get much sleep and pretty much ruined our stay. I will be calling as I should not have to pay for this bad stay. Just poorly managed and not customer focused as I remember most Hilton brands are being a silver member.

This is an outdated hotel. I don't like how a big sand dune blocks the ocean view from the pool. Other resorts had a full view of the ocean. I won't be coming back to this clearwater hilton location anymore.

If you can swing the $200+ a night, this is the hotel to stay at when you're visiting Clearwater Beach. The hotel's interior is beautiful and modern. Breakfast was delicious and prepared well every morning. The bar was also a gem, make sure you order up a raspberry mojito. The hotel is steps away from the beach. When you're tired of the white sand beach (as if that's even possible) then just walk right over to their beautiful pool area. The hotel is a short walk to the pier and sits on the main thoroughfare; there's no real need for a vehicle or taxi when you want to go to a bar on the street or go shopping. I'm looking forward to my next stay.

I am a local resident, and purchase 5-6 Cappuccino s from your Starbucks a day, yes a day, seven days a week. Now you have raised your prices again, this time by 43 cents a cup. Out of principle, I will take my business up the road to Starbucks on Cleveland and pay $3.91 instead of $5 for the same drink. I am known very well at your location. Your staff are fantastic, but your prices not!

I went to this hotel as a gift to spend my night of the wedding and everything was good until around 2 am in the morning the fire alarm started to sound and flashes the firemans came to check and they told us that it was a false alarm that we can go back to ours rooms which we did but the fire alarm kept going with the flashes and the sound we called a couple of times to the front desk and they kept telling us that in a couple minutes it'll be off and then by 5:10 am we couldn't take it anymore and we decided to left the hotel to go to our house. Its really unprofessional of Hilton to treat their clients like that. I haven't been able to sleep all this week and we went there to celebrate and take some rest and that's what we recieved. I don't recommend hilton of Clearwater .

Pluses and minuses. The location on the beach is great but the large beachfront construction project is ongoing and detracts from the experience. Many of the rooms look out onto the generators and there are not many with nice beach views. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere is laid back. The pool is pleasant, warm, family friendly and not crowded but it can be hard to find a chair at certain hours. They do limit holding lounge chairs but it s hard to monitor. The music is usually not too loud. No lap pool but there aren t any in the area as far as we could tell.
The mandatory resort fee of $25 is irritating but I did enjoy the beach yoga in the morning. The teacher was very good and it was a lovely way to start the day.
We didn t eat at the main restaurant only at the pool since there are lots of places nearby and the Starbucks is on site.
It was disappointing to see online that we were paying more than the going rate for some of the days of our visit.
