This was a great place to visit. Had a great time overall here with the family, great photo options as well to make memories! If your looking for a local spot or are coming from out of town it s a great place to visit or see! Highly recommend it to anyone!
The location was great because it was directly on the beach. On the other hand the hotels service did not match the price. It was very very unsanitary and dirty. I was very disappointed I was expecting a much cleaner room not a dirty carpet I could barely walk on in the room. The bathroom was soooo small and uncomfortable. I couldn t wait for my vacation to end to the point I spent the entire vacation at the beach. The sheets felt wet and cold and I hade to cover all the beds with blankets from home (glad I brought thoose)! I do not recommend this hotel please don t stay here!!
Great location, beautiful sunsets! The Hilton Clearwater Beach is a perfect beach retreat for a corporate event or a family getaway. Walkable to numerous restaurants and community events, spacious rooms and great outdoor space, coupled with Hilton's great service, made for a fantastic stay!
Ufff really bad experience!! as soon as we got in, was an very strong smell of gas, the hotel was full and only 1 elevator worked, we have to wait btw 10 and 20 minutes to take it, long lines, in the room the coffee machine didn't work, no radio, instead was am old device to put and ipod, who has that ? We didn't went to the pool because it was so crowded and we are in the middle of the pandemic!! and the worst part was the food at the hotel restaurant, it was just terrible!!! We ordered red snapper and we couldn't eat it. The only beautiful thing is the beach.

Found a great deal while we were driving down florida and couldn't pass up the hilton clearwater! It's a great beach stay.
The sand will keep your feet happy and the water is as salty as a sea dog.
We loved being close , (within distance of walkies) to the best clearwater area has to offer.
They had pools, bars, and jet skis , kayaks , and activities to make sure your stay is full of memories and adventure.
We stayed in a king room which was advertised as oceanfront when it was more oceanview but the balcony was pretty nice and had a good view for people watching. Great showers and bathrooms they were clean and spaceous. Can fit about 3 people in the shower .
Don't miss the famous sunset with the one you love .
Great location ofcourse, but does feel like 3 stars hotel. They do have private entrance to the beach, but not private beach. Avoid standard room which will have your balcony by huge AC compressors ( no noise though). The outside tiki bar is nice. Pool is always full

Old, expensive and we had a very dirty armchair in our room. The view from a lot of rooms is going on an ugly AC-Landscape. This hotel is from another time. Not to mention the price for a beach cabana: 100 bucks, without taxes. Per day.
Staff is super friendly, location is right on the middle of Clearwater Beach, rooms are top quality.
The hotel is in the best place for meals, beaches. Very small room and they only clean what is necessary. The pool area service is inadequate, because you can eat everything you buy from them but they don't let you eat or drink what you bring.
Pros: Pool area Amazing, the Clearwater area is great, a few beach games to play, and plenty of things for kids.
Cons: $25 resort fee you don t know about until you check in. Rooms are small. You have to pay to use beach chairs. They have stacks of chairs that sit in piles that are unused. Can t even use them without paying. A whole package to get everything you would want to use on a resort is $200. You can rent just a chair for like $30 plus you have to rent the beach umbrella too. The room doesn t even have a Keurig. I have been to many of hotels. Holiday Inn offers better rooms and amenities. No chill patio area to sit and relax in. Construction is going on so that s annoying on the beach. Mysterious $125 charge 2 nights in, they said it was for a deposit to make sure the card still worked. Just odd. For $1500 for a 3 nights I d go elsewhere. What you get is offered at most other resorts in the area. Severely overpriced and they fall short of the expectations.
My wife and I had a great time, but that was Clearwater. Not because of Hilton.

Do not stay at this Hotel, no beach, big misconception! It was a 2 Day trip, it was ruined by the Marriott Hotel of Clearwater water beach
Between, You hear everything from the room next door and partying all night by the room next to us 4 am still going at it, and they placed right beside us when the hotel has barely any guest. and the 3 withdrawal from my accounts that total 584$ then 687$ then 730$ they lie at the front desk, I m having to fight to get this money back into my accounts.The guy at the front desk swiped my cards for that total for incident charges, and the billing states how they need to be more clear with customers, so read the fine because they are not going to give that money back or make it impossible after the worse two days ever I now get to deal with all of my bills that are now late and they are Avoiding putting my money back into the accounts! Read the fine print because when you go to get the money back they are going to make it impossible.
Being right on the beach is always the best view so that was awesome! Pool is nice and heated. NO JACUZZI. Close to everything.
Very long wait to valet park. You can't rent chairs on the beach till 9am. The back row of chairs to rent in the beach sucks! Even in the front row people can sit in front of you if they bring their own chairs but the view is still good. NO SERVERS ON THE BEACH. You gotta get up and get your drinks. Food is subpar.
The room is nice looking but functions like it's old and outdated. The lock wasn't working to get in the room even tho the light turned green every time. We had to try the key about 15 times. The toilet flushed very slow, the door to the bathroom creaked very loud, the alarm clock light was stupid bright at night. The bar was just ok. They did have live music. Could not get decaf coffee at night tho.

The room was very outdated, especially the bathroom. Great views of the beach and centrally located, but would not stay here again. Also, the elevator and lobby smelled like propane gas...girl checking us in said it was nothing to worry about but it was slightly alarming.
The staff was so welcoming and friendly! Fantastic views, sleek new modern style room. You can go right out of the back entrance from the refreshing pool oasis into the sandy beach. I willl definitely be coming back!
Hospitable employees and beautiful rooms but very tight/small for all the money. They should at least pretend to show concern for all the drugs circulating by their outdoor bar. It's in the air guys, c'mon. This is supposed to be high class and family oriented.

A tired hotel in a beautiful location. The spot is great right by the beach and the beaches are beautiful there. It is also handy to the few blocks of heavy tourism shops and restaurants. However, it is definitely showing its age. They are doing renovations which presumably should help but in the meantime it is hard to get around
Very nice accommodations centrally located in Clearwater Beach. Able to walk to most all restaurants and shopping. Nice beach view from our room's balcony but was hampered by construction occurring on-site. Did not visit the beach or pool or eat in any of the in-house restaurants. Would definitely consider this hotel again when returning to Clearwater Beach.

Good location, on white sandy beach. Walking distance to many excellent restaurants. These factors significantly upgrade the hotel rating. The hotel itself is ok, nothing fancy. Simple rooms. The staff is excellent.

Our stay at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort ended far too soon! ! We had a nice corner room with a balcony. The angle of the balcony did make it a bit difficult to see much of the beach. Apart from that detail the room was great.
The pool was wonderful! ! It was large enough and deep enough to actually swim in ands was heated to a perfect temperature for November in the Tampa area. There was also a short menu available and we enjoyed the Lobster Roll and the Spinach Salad very much.
The beach was divine with beautiful white sand and the water was cool but still not too cold to take a swim.
Every employee we had an interaction with was professional, couteous, and eager to be of service.
Our time there was great fun and I believe we will be returning around the same time next year!
Attending a conference and the facilities are great. Personnel are friendly and helpful.
Dirty and dated. Most guests not following covid-19 safety precautions. Rude staff - particularly at breakfast. On our way back to our room, a door was open and we saw housekeeping picking up people s belongings when cleaning a room and laughing - really unprofessional and rude. Wouldn t come back, hesitant to stay at another Hilton.
We stayed in an gulf front suite. Place looked a little old from the outside, but our room was spectacular. Only criticism of the room was even with a huge tub there was no jacuzzi. Great location - easy walk to many restaurants and bars.
Beware ! Hotel is under construction. Why were we not told ahead of time? I don t know many people that like to pay full price and bring their family for a vacation to a hotel that is under construction. Several areas of the hotel are blocked off and try having a drink outside with the beautiful sound of construction. Defeats the purpose of having a vacation . I feel terrible for the people that were staying for a long time thankfully we only had 2 LONG nights . The manager was responsive and offered to give us some credit but with all honesty this hotel gives the Hilton a bad name. Very deceiving.
Didn t get our room clean so at 5:00pm we had to call for housekeeping . The room we got wasn t for a family of 4. We are small and couldn t fit comfortable in the bathroom .

Great beach and they also have an awesome pool. The best valets around. I never wanted to leave this place. Slept like a baby every night. Wife and I now want to purchase the same bed if we could. If you have the chance stay here!!
I attended during a single day conference and did not stay overnight at the hotel. I did find the conference rooms to be accommodating and the food served was good. I would say that my lower rating was due to the fact that signs were not well posted as to where to enter and no one was available to ask. I spent 10 minutes wondering looking for my conference room. The hotel does provide a very nice vew and the location is excellent.
The staff goes above and beyond! They are professional, polite and attentive. The location of the property is amazing, definitely the best location on Clearwater beach. The condition hotel is good, but is under renovations for improvements.

To summarize, quite possibly the worst beach hotel at which I have ever had the displeasure of staying. The lack of cleanliness and modern amenities in the rooms is shocking for the price being charged. Don't let the hotel lobby photos fool you. The rooms' quality absolutely does not match. The bathrooms are tiny and dingy, the tubs and shower curtains are old and gross, the beds are hard, pillows are cheap, and one of the worst things is that the wall A/C unit is BEYOND loud, waking one up in the middle of the night every time it kicks on, even with earplugs. Additionally, the walls and ceilings are paper thin; you can hear absolutely everything going on around you. It feels like vacationing in the slums with not a moment of peace, quiet, or relaxation; not exactly how I want to feel when vacationing on the beach in a Hilton. The beach in front of the hotel is uncomfortably crowded. The food in the hotel restaurant is expensive and underwhelming. Do yourself a favor and take your $250 a night somewhere else. You will be glad you did.
We were enjoying our staying celebrating our wedding anniversary at the beginning of our stay. Even thought many other clients were constantly complaining about the room being dirty, the towels and sheets not clean and the actual room nothing like the pictures they show on internet, (and thay was TOTALLY TRUE), we were trying to spend the best time since it was our second year anniversary and we always try to have fun.
UNFORTUNATELY OUR CAR WAS HIT BY ONE OF THE VALET PARKING AND GOT DENTED ON THE FENDER, IS NOT A BIG DEAL, BUT WHAT I THINK IT IS REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL IS THE RESPONSE FROM COLUMBIA SUSSEX WHICH IS THE OWNER OF THE RESORT.
They said the video form the cameras didn t show the vehicle s conditions as the angles and other vehicles and headlights make it difficult to see????

We are really disappointed and will never pay that kind of rate for such a poor service ever again.
Booked our reservation 3 weeks ago for 4 rooms / 4 couples for new year's eve, unfortunately we checked in last and we're offered a room with valet parking view ( Room 342 ) that was unacceptable especially when we're paying $ 365 for a gulf view.
Management never called us back to fix the issue and after 3 attempts to talk to a manager we were told that they were sold out. Obviously they don't care about customer service, we left and they offered us a $ 50 refund for our 2 hour stay. Are you kidding me ? I have all the documents needed to prove our case and will dispute this charge with credit card company.
We deliver beach toys and strollers in addition to cribs and anything a family needs when traveling to Clearwater beach with small children. The staff here have always been courteous and helpful!

Walk out by the pier and the kids had some ice creams. Pharmacy is in close proximity and so are many other food venues. Great pool service and nice security control. We had drinks and food by the pool and David have the greatest personality! They do Not have life jackets for kids so you may want to bring your own...

Careful there are charges for parking and tax besides what you see on booking websites. No personal tent on the "private" beach.
My daughter a single mom worked 3 jobs to be able to take her kids to florida for a vacation stayed there the 4th and 5 th of July wanted to have the last 2 nights of there vacation to be amazing for her 3 kids 10 11 and 2 paying $455.00 a night.The first night she was mugged outside the door at your resort he took everything she had phone credit cards everything and all you could say was I'm sorry. The cops,said it happens a lot. We had to figure out how to get money to her with no I'd. To eat with 3 kids for 2 days. You would of thought your manager could have at least give them some kind of voucher to eat. Or a way to get to airport in my oppion it was handled very wrong. She had nothing. So fix your cameras outside so you can at least see everything around the building. This wouldn't have happened if you had the right cameras or front entrance fixed. It could of been alot worse.VERY FRUSTRATED
It's a good place but it needs some renovations. The room door would only open after 10 tries and the bathtub was dangerously slippery.

Very accommodating. Had a lovely stay. Valet accidentally forgot to grab my key, so they ran up to my room and got it from me. My mom had an allergic reaction to some food, and they immediately gave her a refund. (Reaction is new. Never before did she have it. Not hotels fault) we love it there. Besides my mother's reaction, we had a great time

Ground floor level was under construction , were already aware. Breakfast was a little overpriced, poolside bar and area was great beach area was a plus .Our room was 400 square feet . "Overall we had a lovely time.
Beautiful location with views, food offerings basic and limited, nothing I would recommend. Live music when I was there, much like the food, basically background noise and nothing memorable. Great for just drink and taking time out to enjoy the sunset.
Stayed the weekend for a romantic get a way. Pool was lovely, but crowded and it was impossible to find a place to sit. Lots of renovations going on which I did find annoying and felt impacted the overall feel. Good restaurant choices, but we were over charged for the breakfast buffet (watch your bill). Had a round of Pina colada drinks that we're the absolute worst ever, but other drinks were much better. Views were nice, but a little disappointed that half the hotel looks out over a roof area that was super noisy from the AC units, and was hot because of the units. Room and common areas were clean and nicely remodeled. Front desk staff was wonderful!
Hotel very loud. Air conditioning could not be switched off. Impossible to sleep with this drafts and noise. Reported it to the front desk. Nobody came to help. Not first class.
Beachfront hotel with a great location. Restaurants, ice cream shops, etc. are within walking distance. Nice amenities, but rooms need an update.
We enjoyed the pool, ping pong table, and the nearby BouYah beach rentals (jet ski and parasailing).
We stayed here 3 years ago and will definitely come back again!
