Upon arrival our rooms were not properly sealed and cleaned before our stay. Management changed the rooms and sent us to once again uncleaned rooms. Hotel does not follow COVID procedures and staff does not seem to care. Wouldn t recommend wasting your money here.

Harrah s was great from checking in to checking out. Jah-Guarah at the front desk was awesome to check in. I ate at AC Burger which was great for late night. The waterfront buffet was an excellent choice on a Sunday night. Many different and delicious foods to pick from. Everyone I encountered there was very well mannered and smiling even though they might have been tired. Housekeeping was excellent too sad I didn t get to meet any of them, to tell them they did a great job. Great three night stay and Christine at check out time was nice. Then I met Fran at the bell hop for my bags who was nice also
Love this place so much! Always a great time when I visit. Loved that every turn I took I seen someone cleaning. Table games had partitions and everyone had a mask on the floor.
Viking Cooking School in Harrah's, is ausome. Chef Vincenzo and Chef Ed did a spectacular presentation. Then we eat what we cook. 3rd time there, and definitely going back. Great place to take a group for private show.
We had a Bayview tower room and it was gorgeous and spacious. Pretty central to everything as well. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was huge. One day our door lock had to be jumped so we did have to wait in the hallway for about 30 minutes for someone to come to fix it and let us in our room. Maintenance was friendly and apologetic. We opted out of housekeeping and received a $20 credit to use for food or drink. I would stay here again.
Very disappointed with the quality and cleanliness of the rooms. After changing rooms several times I chose to leave and spend the rest of my week in another hotel.
It was horrible, No taking the garbage out.. Have to always ask for Towels,Toiletries. No explaining that you have to reserve everything. Would never go back.
Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Would absolutely recommended this resort to any and everyone ! Rooms were SOO clean which is great! They have everything you need right on the resort , the only thing I'd say is the description of where the hotel is could be a little misunderstood (or maybe it was me) I believed it was closer to the board walk but it's no where near you'd need to Uber because it's not walking distance like I thought so beware of that. I wasn't too upset about that tho because like I said there was so much on the resort I didn't ever get a chance to make it to the boardwalk anyway.
The Harrah's staff were nice. Our room was horrible because it was near the elevators and inconsiderate guests kept loud talking while getting on/off the elevators. Our room also had lights flashing in the window because of the pool party. We complained to no avail. The restaurants were way too expensive.
Is nothing about the design, this place is so dirty everywhere, even the non smoker area has that smell, since the first moment I entered to the room there was food in the carpet, ketchup or blood in the walls, hairs in everyplace, sticky furniture, we couldn't even use the pool because we came w our child, so the kids pool it's terrible too, dirty AF. And when they cleaned the room they left the same dirty towels. Never gonna comeback again.
Went down on a Sunday night to do dinner with friends. My boyfriend and I stayed in the waterfront tower. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is the deceptive room service menu. We were up pretty late and hungry again so I attempted to order room service because the menu says "12pm to 6am daily". Its not daily, they close room service at 1:30 and the only thing open is a sandwich and pastry shop downstairs.
It doesn't seem like much of a big deal, but when you're staying at a "resort" you kind of expect those things to be available 24/7.
Staff very friendly. Restarants fantastic. Casino great. Room not so nice curtains falling off rod. Couch dirty and stained. Dog barking non stop for hours until after midnight called the front desk twice.
Pretty decent party-hotel. Waterfront tower has the best rooms. the pool and hot tubs are the main party spot of the hotel. There is a Gordon Ramsay here. A lot of slot machines, a gym. not a lot of stories and venues to attend. I prefer Tropicana hotel better. there's just a million more things to do at the Tropicana, the beach front hotel.
Cant wait to go back again. love this place! 1/22/19 Update- went back the weekend of 1/19 with a group of friend.. We had a great time. Great atmosphere, good music in the lobby bar, great variety of places to eat., and most importantly, great play action on the floor. Thanks to Lisa Chen for helping with the transportation from the Philly airport. Also, Todd Jones thanks for responding to my late night request in what I would consider to be lightening speed, to assist with my room charges since Lisa was out and assuring me that our transportation would be waiting for us. As always, looking forward to our return visit.. We love this place.
I had a spectacular experience at Harrah's. The lady who checked me in was courteous and was able to upgrade my room. The room, located at the second part of waterfront towers, was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was modern and pretty much the size of a standard room at any comparing hotel. I enjoyed my stay, would recommend waterfront towers to any visitor.
We stayed for the weekend and had an amazing time. Massive rooms, great restaurants, great alternative transportation, so we didn't have to drive everywhere. Just awesome!!
It s was a great night. Lost all my $ but hotel was nice. The rooms is a little out dated but clean. I like Harrah but like being at boardwalk. Enjoyed pool .
The resort is nice.. guest services was very helpful. Rooms were clean, casino wasnt expensive, they have a nice cafe that inexpensive. It's far from the boardwalk but everything u really need is in this hotel . It has the best inside heated pool and its always a party during the day. I don't think they should charge hotel guest to enter the pool area.. I thought that was ridiculous.. if we have a key, we should be able to enter for free anytime of day especially for happy hour. I can understand the pool after dark. But during the day hotel guest should be free not 10 bucks.
Yamira Perez the front desk manager was very professional and kind. She made sure me and my girlfriend stay was comfortable and we are both pleased. Because of her service we decided to stay a few more days. Harrah s has it restrictions due to Covid but like any trip you make the best out of it!
Hotel is nice and clean but was a bit upset when I woke up late and couldn't get anything good to eat... only room service which is too expensive and this sandwich shop that didn't have a good variety of food was open. They should have more places to eat that are open late at night.
So glad I switched hotels and didn't stay here. It's a bit drab outside, but the interior is gorgeous.
However, my review is mostly pertaining to Gordon Ramsey's Steak as that was the sole purpose of my visit. It was abysmal. If Chef Ramsey were there he would've thrown my meal all the way away!
I loved spending my days in the States here! It s wouldn t be this memorable if not for this hotel. Room service was great and on point. Friendly reception too.
Love Harrahs! They have everything you need from the Food to Parties! I am not a gambler, so it's cool that I can find something to do here! This is the only place I like to stay at when in Atlantic City!
Loved the casino, and the pool after dark is amazing.. the hotel itself could use some better customer service.. I think you can tell they make most of their money on the casino and may fail to be as attentive to the hotel guests.
was at harrahs this past weekend - had a good time BUT we had trouble with our mattress on 17th floor = it had a very bad indentation in the middle of the bed - housekeeping and supervisor and they said it will be changed - apparently it wasn't - very disapointed- hallway had a odor and rugs were filthy at Waterfront Towers never again
I m sorry it was very bad experience for me, I took my wife for couple nights our first night we found a lot of hair all over the bed we asked them to change it for as they just send as couple sheets . I had to ask an other room for the next day bad.
The staff were very kind and helpful , But the room Always smells like cigarettes, and there is nothing to do besides the pool , casino and not everyone like to play. The Burger place was excellent
Harrah's is a great casino being away from the Atlantic city strip. The waterfront rooms are nice and it's located right in front of the pool. At night the pool is a night club on the weekends and in the morning it's a like a rehab pool party.
They we're not too diligent with with enforcement of any mask rules. Didn't seem to see any people frequently cleaning and wiping down machines and other surfaces. Parking lot needs to be cleaned smh so much garbage all over.
Me and my family came here for a vacation. If it was possible we would put 0 stars. They don t deserve any. We first enter the hotel and check in. We get our cards and go to our room. We first realize it Is not the room we wanted. We booked a waterfront view. Instead we were placed in the marina tower. The room was also non smoking, but we specifically booked a smoking room. When we entered the room, it had this disgusting smell of mildew or mold. Lights didn t work, lamps and the fan in the bathroom. We called to see if we can get a refund but they refused. We also came for the family pool. In our conformation email, we did not get details on the hotel, when reaching there we get ready for the pool. We call and ask what are the pool hours. They said it closed at 6 pm. We got there at 7 pm. This is ridiculous that we were not informed. Since my family included 2 kids, we needed something to do. So we went downstairs and asked to change rooms. We asked to get a room with a hot tub, because on the desk it showed pictures of rooms with hot tubs. The lady made an excuse saying we have no rooms like that, even though there was a picture showing it. False advertising. Well we get to the new room, it s beautiful as it seems. We leave immediately after putting our bags in and go to the boardwalk. We come back and try to put our baby to sleep we see that there is a disgusting stain on our beds. It s like blood. It is now 238 am and I having been calling front desk since 150 am. They sent someone, and they did nothing but give us an attitude. Still did not get it changed. This is really disgusting.
I have never stayed at hotel. I have tried before but it did not work out for some reason. So I figured this would be the year. I was wrong. The prices were to high for a Sunday to Wednesday. I called a different hotel I had never stayed at and they gave me two comp nights and charged me full price for the third night. This blew me away. I was really hoping Harrah's was this accommodating since I enjoyed gambling there.
My wife and I stayed at Harrah s plenty of times and we always have a good time. However, this time around we ve noticed increased security which is great! Except when you feel like you are being targeted when your asked to take off your hood when you see others with their hood on. And I m just sitting down and on my phone and I m asked to do so. Then constantly asked to see your ID even when we order a water. We have been here for 3 days and shown our ID plenty of times. My sister in law has come with us this time and only has her passport. She has shown it plenty of time as well. Finally out of nowhere while she is playing a machine a security guard comes and ask her to show her ID. It s a foreign passport from a Hispanic country now she tells us she has to get a wrist band because it s a non U.S passport. No other person in the past 3 days has asked her to do so and I don t understand why now she has to. We have definitely been feeling targeted this whole trip when we were mainly the only ones asked to show ID at the roulette machine table filled with no other minorities not sure if this was a minority thing or a lgbt thing. Either way this has been one of our worst experiences at Harrah s. We ve been coming here and spending money here for years and stayed at other Harrah s in the country. When we go on vacation we come to relax and not want to be harassed or targeted for a ID every 5 minutes.
The hot water in the shower took forever to work properly, our room did not get cleaned during our ONLY night there, the casino staff is absolutely rude and inconsiderate. Will not be returning to Harrah s New Jersey in the future!
We had a good time at Harrah's but as things are opening back up the place is starting to look run down. The shower in our room leaked water all over the bathroom floor because the door gasket is falling off and the grout was covered in mildew! I have never seen it anything but pristine before now. I know they are short staffed but this was pretty unacceptable.
Pretty good over all...Does need some outside love, parking lot has a lot of garbage, in front of hotel around bushes as well...The room we stayed wasn't very modern, a bit old style... Friendly staff, decent space!
I m very disappointed with Harrah s Resort Atlantic City Casino s customer service!!! Last week, me and my husband with couple of our friends had a terrible experience at this casino. We ve booked rooms weeks before date 7/18/19, on that day, Thursday 7/18/19 we successfully have checked in online, all we had to do is to go to e-terminal to get our keys, so we took our time slowly, enjoying gambling around Harrah s. At around 3 something AM we finally decided to go sleep, we went to the e-terminal to get our keys, here we get the notice that we have to go to front desk. At the front desk they told us that they have cancelled our reserved and checked in rooms, because we came after 3AM. What a joke? Seriously? Where it says that we have to get to our rooms no later than 3AM??? It is our choice when to go to sleep, as long as we have checked in and paid for our rooms we shouldn t have such a problem! After all, casino is the place where we shouldn t be worrying about time!!! We didn t have energy for arguing with such unprofessional people at Harrah s, so we went away to another casino. We felt very disappointed...
The hotel and casino and restaurants were all outstanding .The workers at destinations store Todd Shaniqua an Tina went out of their way to help me with an item needed they are awesome .Not so for the bell captains desk who lost my luggage told me they put them on a shuttle with someone else .I tried very hard to tell the woman upfront at the bell desk I needed my luggage to leave to get to the airport after 40 min of me continuing to complain another worker took me to the back to identify my luggage . It was a horrible experience. They need a better system. Not happy with how the woman at the desk handled the situation .
Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, however if you want to go swimming in their tropical oasis u better bring a coat! You really can t go swimming because the water is cold! Second time there and the same thing! They need to make the water warm for all the guests especially in the winter!!
View from room was nice. Disappointing visit to say the least. We saw a live rat on the patio under tables were people had just finished eating. Pool was closed our entire stay. Food was disappointing. Local boardwalk area/beach - dont go. Spend your time and money elsewhere. Dirty and unsafe environment. I would not walk on the beach without closed shoes, nor would I go to the boardwalk again.
These 5 stars are for a nice guy named Joshua and his manager they over at the total rewards area by the hotel check in! Joshua is doing an amazing job for just starting out! I unfortunately didn't get his manager's name but she was so sweet and help as well! Keep it up Joshua you're doing great! :D
This place is epic!!!!.. me and my friends drove all the way from PA to attend the Pauly D Bday bash on July 7th, and it was absolutely amazing!.. the DJ was great but most of all the place stole my heart, huge and a pool right at the center and amazing sound system all over. We celebrated my friends birthday at another level. I definitely recommend this place and looking forward to go back again. :)
Worst slots in NJ & NY you always lose here you can't have any fun the machines are so tight you go through hundreds VERY quick & never get bonuses & it doesn't keep you going all of their properties are like that Bally's, Caesars & Harrah's for years I stayed away came back & it's the same & I tried all properties again played small & big. Go anywhere but here if you want to win & have fun on slots, renovated rooms nice & beds comfortable
They allow pets. Don t clean your room. Front desk was extremely rude. Nothing to do and hardly any food after 10pm. No complimentary water bottles. Had to constantly ask for towels and toilet paper. All entrances are not open after a certain time. FAR FROM EVERYTHING!
Nice until the fire alarm went off at 1:30 in the morning. Had to walk down 17 flights of stairs with infant. All because someone was smoking and set off 9 fire alarms.
I had a premium, recently renovated room overlooking the bay. It was really nice and the view was great from the giant wall-sized window. The service was great and dinner at McCormick and Schmick's was fantastic. The casino floor was very clean and seemed to be recently renovated as well. The majority of the gaming machines are very modern and were fun to play. My friends and I had a blast.
One of the Best place around AC! On weekend it gets the most crowd! Dj was fairly good,20 dollars to entry,if you have Coat or jackets on winter,You have to leave it to the front desk. Overall it was a great experience!
