My wife and I stayed at Harrah s plenty of times and we always have a good time. However, this time around we ve noticed increased security which is great! Except when you feel like you are being targeted when your asked to take off your hood when you see others with their hood on. And I m just sitting down and on my phone and I m asked to do so. Then constantly asked to see your ID even when we order a water. We have been here for 3 days and shown our ID plenty of times. My sister in law has come with us this time and only has her passport. She has shown it plenty of time as well. Finally out of nowhere while she is playing a machine a security guard comes and ask her to show her ID. It s a foreign passport from a Hispanic country now she tells us she has to get a wrist band because it s a non U.S passport. No other person in the past 3 days has asked her to do so and I don t understand why now she has to. We have definitely been feeling targeted this whole trip when we were mainly the only ones asked to show ID at the roulette machine table filled with no other minorities not sure if this was a minority thing or a lgbt thing. Either way this has been one of our worst experiences at Harrah s. We ve been coming here and spending money here for years and stayed at other Harrah s in the country. When we go on vacation we come to relax and not want to be harassed or targeted for a ID every 5 minutes.
