Grand Sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok Review

Good business style hotel; but rooms were very average. No real five star like feeling.

Convenient location. Hotel rooms requires some maintenance and an upgrade. Awesome views of the city. Pleasant and friendly staff.

Great hotel. Lovely pool. Concierge was really helpful.

Good price/quality level some rooms are getting a bit old though

The deposit is deposited at the hotel when you check in and the deposit is due to the minibar and other items when checking out. However, after I returned to Korea, I paid $ 90 as deposit. An unfriendly response to a call to a hotel. a slow response Tired and stressed.

It is important to finish the trip, but when I check-in at the hotel, I put a card on the front desk, but I did not use the mini-bar and checked it out at the time of check-out. If you call the hotel, you will not be able to handle it quickly.
And the pool is too photogenic

The hotel itself is good, food is good but the entrance is narrow. A little difficult to find

The location actually suitable for adults, if with toddlers seem not so fit, as downstairs all pubs and sexy girls. Hotel wise, got a free upgrade, room I would say average but to be fair is spacious. Don't expect all news, can feel it refurbished but still abit aged. Breakfast is average. Swimming pool is beautiful. Room service average, where ask for more water they hesitate to give or bargain for the quantity.

Nice hotel.. located at the heart of Bangkok. Not noisy like other neighborhood hotels

The room provided smelled like smoke for a good part of the day and the size of the room was extremely small and cramped. When asked to switch rooms, the reception denied and said the hotel was overbooked and nothing could be done. The only redeeming quality of the stay was the full-body massage which was pretty awesome.

Just checked in.. check in process was quick and smooth with good front office staffs services. But the room needs improvement. It looks outdated all over...more comments to follow...not impressed with room.. first impression is not so good. ..

The rooms are quite large and the surrounding nightlife, restaurants and pubs are so good to walk around and enjoy.

Nice hotel in an excellent quiet location smack in between sukhumvit soi 4 and soi 8. Good rooms and services provided. Staff are extremely friendly.

There is one female staff who can speak Japanese. Check-in deposit is 3000THB. You can deposit with a card.
The breakfast buffet is very delicious with lots of items.

Pathetic services by Hotel staff...even after full payment in advance for Mass booking of 50+ people and a day left before checkout ...they locked us out of our rooms and didn't even provided drinking water after several requests. We had a flight to catch and our passports were in the room with no access ! Duty manager didn't even bothered to listen our case...sitting relaxed in his cabin we all getting stressed out in hotel lobby.

The most expensive hotel in sukhumvit. The room is comfortable nothing fancy. Good location. We the American got ripped off by this Hotel exchange rate $1 for 26 baht. No more Thailand vacation. They can keep the Chinese tour, it's starting to look like Chinatown after they arrived at the hotel.

The room is quite stuffy and dark. Could use a little renovating. The access to the hotel itself is quite difficult. Lots of prostitutes roaming around the establishment.

good location, proximity to BTS 3 minutes. Very secure. Room is very good, services is excellent, though sometimes reception is overloaded. Food could be a bit more rich with Thai.

Buffet's serving is generous, although I don't particularly like the lamb chops here.

There are neighbor jobs. Myanmar comes to do road shows about Myanmar tourism. Know many new friends, especially Myanmar insurance companies In the future, we may have to do business. Travel insurance together Because as you know now There is no insurance scheme that protects health. For the Manmar people who fly out Maybe the Thai tour company There are Myanmar customers coming to Europe. Find travel insurance It also invited headaches as well. The hotel is in the alley. But not difficult to travel Enter Sukhumvit Soi 4 for a while and turn left. Lunch offers a variety of services. Thai sweets are delicious, not light.

We had five nights here. Its just a 5 minute walk to the BTS station, but if it rains the roads can be flooded. The hotel and rooms are OK but in need of some refurbishment. There can be a lot of tourist groups in the foyer. In terms of the bar and restaurant you may prefer to go down the road to the Sofitel.

It is an old 4 star hotel. It is a 5-minute walk from the Nankai Railway Station. The remaining facilities, such as breakfast, are equivalent in price. I was able to rest without any complaints.

staffs were nice. And its placed in center of bkk. Reasonable price. I had no trouble staying in this hotel.

Breakfast terrible stale bread, instant coffee and told must pay the 40 dollar weather you eat there or not as requested on the booking. Large but dated rooms were OK, but service was bad.

In the past, it was okay, but recently I got a lot of group guests and my room got dirty a lot. It is close from station and traffic is convenient.

What a treat. From entry to exit we were welcomed and departed at every chance. The entire building was luxurious and they really went above to make sure our anniversary stay was worth while. Cake, flowers, and towel art really set the feeling right. We had the breakfast buffet at the cafe and the food was a mixture of Japanese, western, & thai dishes making sure we didnt miss out on anything we wanted. The view from the higher floors was panoramic and unreal. The bathroom was elegant to say the least and the air conditioning was so efficient we felt like we were back in Canada weather in our room at times. Laundry service was professional and quick and the pool! On the note of the pool though, we booked the room with high Hope's of experiencing the "Swim up bar" which unfortunately was not swim up at all. In fact both ordering and drinking had to be done outside of the pool which was really the only let down we had. A little bit of false advertising isint the end of the world though. It was compensated through the overall experience. The pool was chilly for night or sunset but perfect for a hot morning & afternoon to quickly cool down. The thai massage we received was professional and beyond soothing. Thank you to every one involved. But maybe change the name of the pool from swim up bar to swim then order and drink in the sun bar?

Nice ambience and location but the services are not equivalent to 5 star. No welcome drink was served and the room was dirty, missing the mini bar and room slippers and the washroom was clogged.

I have been coming here for 20 years. I ve known the manager at Rossini Khun Sumet for 20 years and he is my dearest friend here. However, the last 2 visits have been not so good. My key card cease to work the next day!

Sun brunch Lobster eat unlimited. Order indefinitely But the food taste is considered to be moderate. Can not eat wow, fresh colt shrimp. The service staff is very good. This delicious dessert

It's a great Accorhotels hotel. The location and price are perfect, talking about the decency and the amenities providing. Though the furniture is quite old gives a feeling of an old luxury home.

Very Old and kinda dirty. All for a superior apartment. It's that kind of hotel where autocars with loud tourists comes ( those kinda tourist that don't choose for themselves ;). Plus, at breakfast they don't have a real coffee, only some powder... Definitely doesn't worth the money. I'm not giving it 1 star so people will still read this comment, otherwise, 1 star was it.

Nice place, we stayed for 2 days and its middle of nice night life.

Comfortable, lovely bed & pillows. One thing spoiled the experience. The room, curtains & linen reeked of cigarettes. We complained but all the hotel did was come in and spray air freshener.

Today comes to eat and feed the company. Very impressed Food is delicious And the first thing that is most impressive is the smell of burnt shrimp that is very fragrant.

The bedroom is a very comfortable and quite large. The meeting room is compact and useful. Service is nice and it is close to BTS sky train.
