Aloft Bangkok - Sukhumvit 11 Review

I am currently staying at Aloft and the hotel is beautiful. The theme is vibrant, rooms are large and modern. The view from our room is half of a large hotel and half of The city but in a city like Bangkok you aren't going to get perfect views with the buildings around. The bar is chilled and friendly. The pool is very quiet and relaxed also. Happy stay so far and would return.

Very close to the main tourist parts. Even was able to walk to a barber shop. Clean rooms. Walls were thick and it was easy to get a good quiet night's rest. Big rooms and good water pressure. The air conditioning was also great. Coming back here for sure.

Staff are attentive, rooms are spacious, central location.

One of the decent hotel. I stayed here for a day and SAI - Front desk helped me to get good room during check in with 2 complimentary breakfast. I got also 2 drinks as complimentary coz of my elite status and drinks were amazing n tasty. Hotel is very well located near to sky train , metro and main market. Rooms are small but neat. Breakfast is amazing here. Should not miss it. Pool s located at 10th floor and it s mind blowing view.

You can add a line tuk tuk to pick up guests at nana station.

The room is very clear. It is convenient to walk to the night club in the street.

I loved this location, it felt like I was right in the middle of the heart of the city. Walking distance to BTS subway, food, shopping, etc. Right around the hotel and within is a real party vibe. Indoors we stayed in one of the larger suites which I felt was very modern styled and very comfortable. The front desk was extremely attentive and helped us get acclimated to the environment in a short period of time. No one had a problem with our English. :)

A very good value for money hotel in the heart of Bangkok. Only a few minutes walk from the subway, there are plenty of shops, restaurants and a shopping center nearby. The swimming pool on the 10th floor is a real highlight for relaxing after a long day exploring the city. Good reception staff always smiling and available to help.

I love this hotel! It is well located, close to transport, in a dynamic and very international street. The upstairs swimming pool allows you to relax with a view of the buildings and the business district!

Very nice, comfortable hotel. Very good position in Sukhumvit 11, many bars and restaurants by footwalk. Rooms are quite big, clean and well designed. Little infinity pool on 10th level, also small gym is there. Very good service, staff ist very friendly.

We stayed just for one night in august 2015. I booked this hotel as the location is pretty good (not too far from Nana BTS) and as we just needed a decent room for a night. Check in was fast and the lobby area is pretty funky. We got room 2808 on the 28th floor.

Room is quite modern and pleasant but not very big light walls, light wood and multicolored carpet on the floor. The room felt and smelt a bit stuffy upon entering but it was not much of an issue during our short stay there. The large kingsize bed was very comfortable or maybe I was just tired from being on a long flight. We didn t have much of a view as we looked straight into an apartment building close by. The room also featured a desk with a TV and a small fridge under it. There was also a small sofa and a table. There were lots of sockets for charging phones/tablets etc and they all seemed to have international standard which is excellent. There was a decent size flatscreen TV and a small fridge under it a Coke was 95 Baht to give you an idea about the cost. There were even a couple of condoms available for sale. There was also a coffee machine and a water boiler for making tea and coffee.

The setup of the bathroom is quite good with a wardrobe and basin to start with a slightly hidden sliding door made it possible to divide the room into two so that it was possible to use the toilet in privacy or take a shower in privacy. There was also a frosted window to allow some natural light into the bathroom.
There is a small gym and a small pool at the hotel as well but we never got around to using that. The lobby area contains different games, music blasting out from loudspeakers and also a coffee shop.

All in all I have to say that I like Aloft in Bangkok. It is a modern hotel, good layout on the room, decent location etc if you are only going to stay in Bangkok for a night or two this is absolutely a great place to stay.

Horrible smell! I ve stayed here before and it wasn t an issue, but recently they started spraying the rooms with a horrible chemical air freshener that makes it unbearable to stay in. After a night of sleep, head hurts as if I ve been smelling exhaust fumes all night.

The entrance is very messy, pushing the cart is very dangerous, the door is the bar nightclub area, the family with children is less suitable, the details of the room cleaning are not clean, but the service staff are very enthusiastic.

We happened to walk in and ask for a room and they were very accommodating immediately. Helped in every way possible and made our brief stay very comfortable.
The hotel is very neat and clean, the rooms are simple, colorful and extremely clean.
The staff is very prompt and helpful.
All in all a wonderful stay.

This is probably my favorite hotel in Thailand perfect location not expensive at all the staff is very friendly and helpful. A huge club right next to place makes it a perfect place to stay. Walking distance from just about everything you would want to see in Bangkok. I stay here everytime I go to Thailand the rooms are perfect and spacious. I highly recommend this place.

Mostly good. But requesting a new one The hotel is located on Sukhumvit Soi 11, but you pin it to Soi Sukhumvit 15, asking ... embroidered for ???? Make customers that he never came Must go to Sukhumvit Soi 15 Oh, God ... help fix it.

It can be cheap. Ventilation around water is a little weak

Great hotel and great location. The only drawback is that it may get a bit loud in the night if you are on the lower floors.

Quite close to the downtown with good views. Rooms are clean and equipped with good facilities.

The customer service here is terrible. Check in was extremely long and they charged us 1200 baht extra a night for an error on the reservation which could have EASILY been modified. They did not go out of there way to make our check in easier. They assigned us a room facing another building even though they seen how upset we were with the service. Out of the 4 hotels ice stayed at in Bangkok, this has been the worst experience. Stay next door at the Westin or sollitare.

Large specious rooms, cozy interiors like a 5 star hotels

Overall its a vibrant hotel with good vibes. Room is clean and cozy. Crave Club is under one roof. Few minutes to city centre, 7e is just 10 steps away. Easy to commute around with the taxis and tuktuks are along the street in front of hotel. Would advise to download GRAB (UBER for South East Asia) if you wanna save alot on transportation.

Great hotel if you budget is big enough. Nice room with comfortable bed and the best pillows I had i Thailand. A nice little pool area is great when BKK becomes too hot. Extremely friendly staff that helped us find our way around and also compensated us with free breakfast when our room was not ready in time and gave us two hours late check-out without charge.

Have been staying here for couple of days every month for last 2 years. It s a no frills SPG hotel. Staff is friendly, love the roof top bar & proximity to NU Sentral Mall.

First of all the whole place is super clean including your room and the beds are super super super soft. All of the staff are very very nice to you especially one guy in particular and his name is Art. Art went above and beyond for me and my wife for her 40th birthday. Art helped us find the best places to eat places to go walking distance and if it wasn t walking distance he used the tutt tutt from the hotel to get us there faster. He is an amazing guy and a good friend of ours now we will be coming back just because of his service and how great the hotel is.

Homophobic hotel that hates transgendered people. Avoid this disgusting hotel, famous in Bangkok for being the rudest hotel in Sukhumvit.

Great hotel, but my wakeup call was not handled as requested so I missed my flight and had to spend more money on a new ticket than on the hotel room itself. I confirmed it 3 times, but still didn't happen.
I've sent 3 e-mails to assistant manager and costumer support, but non of them answers. I chose the hotel as it was a good deal through my SPG gold membership, but will clearly not come back
