Stayed in the room with living room and small kitchen, nice hotel, eventhough is old the hotel having good maintenance. Things to note, a lot of chinese tours staying in this hotel.

Good service, room should be bigger its a little bit tight if you take doble bet

I am an Accor Platinum Member and have stayed at the Grand Sukhumwit a few times now, but I think this time will be my last.
The front desk staff were lovely, it was nice to be upgraded to a newer-style room as part of my Platinum membership, and the hotel itself is fine for me. Comfortable rooms, nice amenities etc, but the multiple Chinese tour groups are ruining this hotel. Don't expect a peaceful stay.
The lobby, particularly in early morning and late afternoon/early evening are over-run by these tour groups. They are loud, obnoxious, rude and block all pathways so walking through them is a chore. They will shout at their companions from one end of the lobby to the other. They make the breakfast buffet a nightmare and food can't be replenished quickly enough, there's not enough seats and their table manners leave a lot to be desired. (I realise there are large cultural differences, but when there are over 100 people or more in the same area behaving in their way it really is grating and frustrating). At one point, one lady from this tour group was holding the lift for over a minute waiting for her companion when I needed to get back to my room and retrieve something in a hurry. No consideration.
So, I will "vote with my feet" and take my business to another hotel next time I am in Bangkok. Unfortunately, this is all I can do, but I know the hotel itself won't care in any way at losing my business as it's obvious that they now focus on the large tour groups bringing in large amounts of room nights rather than the individual loyal Platinum member who is only paying for one room. Unfortunately, many hotels in Bangkok have "sold out" to mass tourism, and this is just another one. I will find a hotel that has a more peaceful environment, and one where I am feel valued again and can have a more relaxing stay.

This expensive hotel but the rooms are not cleaned properly every day. Just change tissu in the bathroom and leave immediately. The towels are left just like that, the microwave isn't cleaned, just anyway. The price per night of 1.3 million is not very comparable with the service. Lose far ma Indonesia, rooms 400 thousand per mlm but the daily service is extraordinary. The rooms are made clean n organized

This hotel is a 3 star on its best day, but what really annoyed me was the tour guide information booth at the hotel that sold us on some long boat ride for 3,000 baht. All these guys at hotels throughout Thailand get kickbacks from their buddies. So they don t give you all the best information. Do NOT take a private long boat ride (rouse). Take the hop on hop off boat for a lot less. Our private long boat driver made one stop dropped us off and left us , for that price I expect him to wait and take us to a few spots. I can t reiterate it enough, research your options before coming you ll save a boat load of money (no pun intended)
Besides that the room was ehhhh, the windows were so dirty you can t see out of them. The toilet had rust around it, otherwise it wasn t bad bc they upgraded to an apartment to check us in early. So I will give them credit for that.

Delicious food, but the car is very stuck in the alley.

Great customer service. Very welcoming. Room has a 70s touch. Clean and well maintained. Daily water, coffee and tea refreshes. Bed was very comfortable with a great couple of nights sleep at the hotel. Cocktails at the bar needs improvement. Location isn't the most easiest to find if travelling there by train. Didn't try the food at the hotel. But a number of great options around within a 5 minute walk. Overall a wonderful experience. Happy to come back and stay again.

Near nana station, near platinum fashion mall, access to everywhere is easy. Breakfast is been provided with halal food

Well I came here with a group of 80+ travellers. We had spent a great time here .... rooms are spacious, excellent hospitality service, staff is courteous and helping. Our overall experience with this hotel is 9/10.

An absolute disappointment after three weeks in Thailand. No more five stars to be recognized. Room outdated and uncomfortable. Deco? The bed was very comfortable. At breakfast you feel like you are in a station concourse. It sounds consistently and is very loud. Can be fixed safely with the right materials. Rude, listless, unmotivated employees. No friendly request when taking a seat, whether coffee or tea. The coffee (cappuccino) from the attractive machines was terrible. Breakfast for at least 5 types of guests (European, Japanese, Indian and others, which is good in itself) no cheese. Cold cuts not recommended. Two kinds of jam from the big bucket. Dry pastries from the freezer. Empty plates are stacked unnoticed on the tables. Perhaps offer fewer types of breakfast and do so with better quality? What about employee friendliness? Employee motivation? The possibility of a late check out was easy to implement. 2000 baht until 6 p.m. Pool disappointing. Official photos promise a more comfortable atmosphere. In fact, you first have to go through the parking garage. The upholstery is very dirty. The jaccquzzi not working. Due to the surrounding skyscrapers, no sun at the pool. The bar is not inviting. 5 tables. Employees more on the cell phone. We hoped for a better end to this great trip.

The location condition is the best for the night play. Hotel service may be said to be a high standard. Guest room is large, and there is a feeling of cleanliness, too and is comfortable.

iam putting this review not in related to the hotel quality of service or facility, wich iam sure a five star... BUT the disturbance from the BUSES arriving everyday to this hotel the NOISES it bring as i live very next to it.atleast do the initiative switch off the engine while its unloading its chinese passenger EVERYDAY. there is no time of arrival. they come as they please... meaning you will be awake around 4 or 5 am in the morning from the humming of the engine of their buses.. pls to the management. do something about it. its really annoying. really....

The best hotel in Sukhumvit Nana Area. Simply the best hospitality. I was there and Miss Tawid was extremely helpful in reservation. If you're coming here, do contact Miss Tawid and she will reserve the best room for you.

The hotel is halal friendly so you can eat all meat except that pork is also served side by side. Friendly and helpful staff, nice and big room with complete kitchenette. Location wise is great, lots of halal restaurants around. Near Nana Bts and the hotel has tuk tuk service to the station which is great.

Definitely a nice room, it was a suite with two 60" Samsung TV's and a king bed. Great room service, no complaints whatsoever. People were great, walk around the corner to catch a taxi, guys be the hotel will rip you off.

Room is standard even suite room and for you who looking for peace place it s not the place because so many tourist and child. Breakfast time always crowded.

I was staying at the Sukhumvit hotel, the hotel was good ... but unfortunately the entrance to the hotel was narrow, it smelled bad because there were a lot of people selling street food which the waste water was running.

The hotel is good, but a contract is made with a travel agency targeting Chinese people, so there are many Chinese people, and the Chinese people do not have a manners.

This hotel is great. The rooms are clean and well appointed, great views and a fantastic breakfast.

I always come to this hotel when I am in Bangkok. Arrived tired yesterday and they have no room available. They also made no effort to arrange anything for me.

Worst.rooms are dirty and too much old.bed has bed bugs and floors and walls are full of dirt.carpets are dirty too.My daughter got etching for whole night.But they gave us the sorry letter.But they accepted all rooms are in bad condition.
